2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: August 10, 2020, 09:35:26 AM
Stablecoin is just like fiat. You can use them to minimize loss due to market volatility because their prices are relatively not affected that is they have fixed price. Since they do not appreciate considerably I'm wondering how you intend to invest with them except you are considering trade that include pairing them with bitcoin and other crypto. USDT is the most used stablecoin and I will suggest them in this regard

I think that's what OP meant, we are not directly investing in stable coin, but we are investing in fiat. Some people believed on the power of USD, so instead of holding fiat, they just convert and hold it in cryptocurrency where they can easily access and trade it anytime you want.

2902  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and gold can now be called "safe" on: August 10, 2020, 08:00:21 AM
Bitcoin has also surged to 11k despite the pandemic,
Make that $12k as bitcoin has break to the price today.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-tackles-12-000-after-breaking-through-a-key-resistance-zone

imo gold and btc are somewhat "safe haven" assets, this pandemic is a real test to know how well they can hold up investors funds, when everything is crashing and they have been doing great in the market, the number of people that will turn to these assets as time goes on will continue to increase, to evade inflation and the devaluation of their money in their bank accounts, and it will continue to push their prices up.

I think gold is safe, that's proven through ages already, bitcoin on the other hand might be performing the unexpected this year, I can't say it's safe to invest in bitcoin as I have not see its stability yet, it's price bullish movement in short term doesn't prove that it's a safe asset to invest with, however, I believe that bitcoin is going to grow in the long run, but it's volatility will continue to show, hence I don't call it safe.

P.S. I do not think it's early to tag them as safe assets, ....

I think it's early for bitcoin, not on gold.  Smiley
2903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BTC Times: A new Bitcoin News Site on: August 10, 2020, 07:08:12 AM
I'm usually reading news about crypto in https://cointelegraph.com/.. I like the design of the aforementioned site, looks simple.
Anyway, I'll check this one out, looks neat, but since this is a new site, I expect more improvement of the site in the long run.

What we actually need is a site that tells clear information, we know they could be bias, but not to be obviously bias.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 09, 2020, 01:51:14 PM
Is it about knowing how to bet or what you're betting on, what do you think?
How to bet is too basic, anyone who have already tried gambling knows how to bet, but the next one is very important, know what you are betting on because if you want to win in gambling, you need to focus on a limited games, if possible, you focus on one game so you can master it.

In my case, I love sports betting, I know basketball, soccer, MLB, and NFL, but my passion is basketball so I am focus on basketball only when it comes to betting, and I can say I have improve easily as I love what I'm doing.

This is certainly for long term if you want to succeed as this journey is very challenging and the ultimate success here is to be consistent.
2905  Other / Archival / Re: Bank Account Freezed on: August 09, 2020, 08:38:53 AM
They said they cant do anything from their side!
At least you know, bank are just also following orders from authorities and since they received order from the cyber crime about your specific account, then they will implement it as they are in control of your money.

They asked me to contact the Cyber Crime Branch. Before I do that i want to know what are the steps to follow...

I think every country does not have a uniform law, the only thing I can advise to you is just to follow the advise of the bank, that you give you a clear insights regarding your problem, you don't have to fear if you are not guilty of anything illegal.
2906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: in any whale or top trader here? on: August 09, 2020, 08:17:19 AM
Be careful, you are prone to scam if you are looking for whales, they would never tell who and where they are, they hide themselves because they are making money and they don't need your money.  I suggest you study how to trade, learn it your own, if you keep practicing, eventually you will learn and you will improve as a trader.

Trading with the help of someone is good, but you should not totally rely on someone, and it's not suggested to join a program or whatsoever where they give a call and you pay the premium.
2907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: August 08, 2020, 11:54:08 PM
This time all the world market are in crises and also the crypto market but as my predictions that this time crypto market will make a great bull in the market becasue so many countries will soon legal the Bitcoin in their countries and the investment will start in this way in the crypto amrket so much fast.

Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020?
 25,000$
 33,000$
 50,000$
 100,000$

If there's a chance it will touch a new high, I would choose the lowest on the choices, for a very simple reason that I don't want bitcoin to dump even more because it will correct when it's overvalued due to FOMO.

So my answer to that question is yes, it's possible if... pay attention to the word if.. if bitcoin remains bullish and altcoins will have the same behavior.
2908  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why Hidden Agendas Against Sportsbet ? on: August 08, 2020, 10:55:03 PM
Regardless of their agenda, they only know it themselves, and it's not new in the forum as sometimes I can see some politics playing around the forum, we are unique individual and we have different intention sometimes but what matters is the evidence of the scam and the reputation of the site.

All scam accusations are coming from newbie accounts, so they have no integrity unless they provide a solid evidence to support their accusation, and these accounts can be a throw away accounts.

That's why it's important that we should not react directly everytime we see a scam accusation thread, regardless of the reputation of the gambling site, we should all based on the evidence so we cannot be bias on our own. Personally I can say that sportsbet is a good site based on my experience but it could be a different case for others, but then as long as there's no valid accusation, site still keep their good reputation.
2909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: August 08, 2020, 07:46:54 AM
Chipmixer is present again, but not the fault of the mixer as it's their service to mix coins regardless of the purpose of the clients.

Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC

I don't know what would be the implication to the mixers since this is a popular incident, and I've heard some mixers before that are popular in the forum that was closed or the owner decide to close. Anyone who knows, is chipmixer safe here, or they should worry on the possible actions of authorities against them?
2910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 08, 2020, 06:40:43 AM
The answer is very simple, because only few people know about bitcoin, hence, we can expect that those who does not know bitcoin will think that bitcoin is a scam since it's generating wealth to some investors. According to study.   How Many People Use Bitcoin in 2020?

Let's use americans as an example as they are one of the biggest holders of bitcoin, and based on figure, it only says 5%, so that 95% will say bitcoin is scam or some might not give comment, but still at that rate comparison, we know already the answer.
Quote
5 Percent of Americans Hold Bitcoin
A survey conducted by the Global Blockchain Council and SurveyMonkey that was taken by 5,000 Americans found that 60 percent of Americans have heard of bitcoin and that around five percent hold the digital currency.

If you would extrapolate that to the entire U.S. population, that would mean that an estimated 16 million Americans have invested in bitcoin.
2911  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: €10 no deposit bonus (sportsbook + casino) on: August 07, 2020, 12:36:21 PM
I click the facebook link, then the other link until I was finally directed to this site - https://www.betchain.com/

Correct me if I'm wrong, but probably it's just part of the affiliate program as we can see in https://www.betchain.com/affiliates

This site seems to be new to me, never heard of this before too, so even if there are offers, I would interest spending some time.
2912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 07, 2020, 11:34:32 AM
This seems to be a very rare regulation, I have not heard similar to this regulation before.
Come on, 100£ monthly limit seems not fair for gamblers, why are the government now controlling gamblers when it comes to spending money?

Honestly, I believe if they really care for the people, why not just think of banning gambling than making this kind of very complicated regulation just to give gamblers a chance to gamble at a very low amount. These regulators do not understand the gambling's principle which is "only bet what you can afford to lose", it doesn't state their a specific amount as everyone has different status financially.

Personally, I would disagree with his law.
2913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 04, 2020, 11:57:13 PM
I doubt in the next 2 years, ICOs will make a comeback. There is no chance in this time period to see another form massive token sales especially after the fiasco of ICO scams in 2017. Maybe STO or IEOs will take 95% of the crypto token sale industry but the odds for ICO is very very low.
It's better not to expect something that has a very low chance of coming back, being realistic is advisable.
Why would we still hope for an ICO to come back when there's a new platform that was already appreciated by the investors, they believe in IEO because they believe a reputable exchange would not list a scam project, and there's a cost for every listing, so scammers would not waste their money for nothing.

The game was rigged with help of scammers who used the ICO to scam the last bucks of the naive investors.

It was mostly legit in the early stage, in fact, Ethereum, Binance, Waves, Lisk, and etc, these are old but good projects that until now is still in existent and has a good liquidity in different exchanges. The real mess only happened during the last bull run, so we can't blame people if they would not anymore trust an ICO. Let's accept that there's always an innovation, investors always deserves the best as they are the reason why this market is growing.
2914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal mass adoption on: August 04, 2020, 11:37:18 PM
I think Kais Mohammad is not a person with careful planning, because it is too careless to keep a Bitcoin ATM without a license
in public places like malls. No wonder he was finally arrested by the police,
True, however, maybe the time he started the business, there was no clear law about it or maybe he is not aware, with the amount involve or he spent to buy ATM machines, it shows to me that he has already spread his ATM in different locations, so maybe he is just not too well verse with the Law but a law is a law, you can't reason out your being ignorance to it. As for me, it's not intentional to help criminals launders money, it's just his ignorance that cause him trouble.

but what surprised me was how management malls
gave permission illegal Bitcoin ATMs can reach their malls. This is so careless either.

They should also be blame here, if we look the other way, if Kais Mohammad committed a crime, the malls should be an accomplice.
2915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MovieBloc (MBL) #MBL #Binance on: August 04, 2020, 11:16:54 PM
Based on the screenshot, I didn't see they announce that MBL is going to be listed in Binance, so people are just speculating about its listing, and in their announcement, they don't talk about Binance listing either, I guess people now are just so desperate to see a project listed in Binance as they believe that's the only way it will pump.  Angry

No, You're getting it wrong. MovieBlock is already listedon Binance. People were just making speculations because the MobieBlock team announced that they'd have some announcements to make. Well, Its a burst now due to the fact that people fomoed into just to get a piece of the pump if the news turned out to be a big one. It's been bearish since yesterday losing about 10 - 30% if I remember correctly.

Here's a link to the announcement: https://twitter.com/moviebloc/status/1290211006136762368?s=19

People expected stuffs like a new partnership announcement, exchange listings etc.

Ohhh.. my bad, I actually search in CMC since I am not familiar with the project, but I think I mistype it, instead of searching MBL, I search MLB..my hand got used to betting MBL, lol... that's why...

Thanks for the correction, now I can see all the information regarding this project, good to know they are not only listed in Binance but with Bithumb as well.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano to reach 1$ before end of year? on: August 04, 2020, 10:48:02 PM
Not necessarly asking if it WILL happen but do you think it can realistically happen?
Multiple and increase by 8.

I think that's possible and realistic to be seen. For bitcoin that's very possible to have times 8-10 gains and we're waiting for that. That's where I'm basing, if it's possible for btc so that could be too for alts like Cardano but necessarily for all of them.

Cardano is a good project, unfortunately it was just caught by the market situation, but if the bullish market will come back, Cardano is surely one of the altcoins that will rise together with bitcoin. I have a feeling that altcoins season is just around the corner already, bitcoin is so bullish and more push we will see some FOMO.

There's nothing to explain more about the cardano project as overall this project has a good potential, but the overall market has to be considered also as it's hard to sell a product at a bad timing, of course its time will come.
2917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitAgro bounty rewards, any news? on: August 04, 2020, 10:30:57 PM

Is this the project you are talking about?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/agrocoin
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitagro

- The website is not updated. Still showing their ICO status and supposed roadmaps.
- Telegram Channel is not updated (last post-2019 about the delay of the bounty reward)
- No active Telegram Group/Community
- Inactive Twitter handle
- Inactive Facebook handle
- No trading volume so I don't know where you see its current price

Given that, I think the project is a total failure and you have to move on.
Yes. This is the one. But I am wondering how the trading is ongoing since last one year. They have their contacts and team details but no one responds. Just thought to share and gather some information if there is any chance to receive something.

There are a lot of projects that looks like they are legit, they are being traded in an exchange but if you check it yourself and try to trade, you won't be able to sell at a good rate as either the projects has a very low liquidity or the exchange itself are manipulating this having their bots run the trade.

If this project is active, you should have seen it in CMC with complete information on what exchange it's trading and its corresponding volume.

2919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on track to 100k according to stock to flow model on: August 04, 2020, 11:16:58 AM
More bullish prediction makes this market bullish, so I am not against with that prediction although it's quite high.
With the market getting bullish, expect more prediction like this, maybe $100k is my maximum price prediction for short term, beyond that price, it's looks unrealistic anymore, but that's just me though, and I could be wrong, you know, bitcoin moves in a mysterious way, lol.

If we get $100k this year, crypto market will be all over the news again, after the last bull run and dump afterwards, lots of anti bitcoin experts criticize us and bitcoin itself, but they'll prove themselves wrong when bitcoin break a new ATH, especially when it pump to $100k.
2920  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank's loss crypto's gain? on: August 04, 2020, 10:18:23 AM
Haven't heard anything yet similar to that problem in our country, I never had any withdrawal problem with my money.
Bank run their business through trust, so reputation is very important to them as no one would entrust their money in a bank with a bad reputation.

If a bank would deny withdrawal, there's something happening inside already and that is corruption.
When bank accept our money as deposits, there's no rules that we should let it sit for a while, anytime we can withdraw that, so they are obliged to give that to us. Maybe due to the pandemic banks profitability are affected but it's still not a good reason to deny withdrawal.

If we can't take bank anymore, crypto is always open.
