I think the best I can do now is to sell XBC, buy REDD (they will actually be next for MintPall) and vote for REDD to just regain just anything from my loss :/

XBC even if winner on MP is no value now, and actully abandoned. Admins does not have eve a pass to xbc website :/

For real? Go ahead sell all your XBC now and move on. We will still continue supporting XBC.

Admins does not have eve a pass to xbc website :/ - this is a pathetic excuse as they will gain the access for the website soon enough, sorry A website should not be the reason to back off and loose confidence on this coin.

LMAO @ bitwarrior. You remind me of the guy on the titanic who had his 4L mop bucket and was trying to empty out the watter on the boat, while yelling at people "dont worry, I got this"

Don't you realize that the xbc devs and the dcm devs are one and the same?

Put your money where you want but don't come crying to us once you loose it all.

Your so funny and why would I even do that?  Roll Eyes
Investing on altcoins always have some risks involved.

2903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] From Shitcoin.info Team Member - XBC - BitcoinPlus - WARNING ! ! on: July 05, 2014, 03:39:36 AM
-I have taken control of the website situation, domain is purchased, website will be up within 24 hours tops. http://www.xbcplus.com/
-The name of the coin is nowhere near as important as how far the community carries it.
-I like the name Bitcoinplus: to me it sounds like Bitcoin, but in this new era of POS coins. BitcoinPlus.. To each their own.
-As for innovations, are you speculating on the wallet itself? I guarantee you we will be offering many new and unique uses for this coin, and very soon. These things are all in development - everybody who is active in our IRC is aware of this.

-Poor Distribution: Did you watch the IPO on polo? The vast majority of buys were 1-20 coins. As the coin ages it will spread further, this happens with every coin.

-Disinformation: We have a new wallet coming in, POW removed

-Only pools held wallets in the beginning: There was no initial public "mining" phase, the coin was 100% sold through IPO. I don't know where you are going with this.

-Live exchange: What's wrong with that? People know they will get their coin for their BTC. I was happy to get involved that way and thought it was great.

-Any coin not using bitcoin in their name should not be allowed: In your opinion

-No block explorer: In our OP :

Blockchain:

Explorer: http://xbc.blockx.info/get/chain/BitcoinPlus
Richlist: http://xbc.blockx.info/richlist/

-Sock puppet accounts: Who? I bought my coins, withdrew them, and have made it well known I am working adamantly on this coin. Of course people who buy a coin are going to cheer for it and hope it climbs.. Name a coin that doesn't get an equal distribution of hype and FUD (such as this post)

-Date since coin launch: Originally the lead dev was on his own, now he has a community backing him and the coin has grown leagues, and will continue to grow. There are new announcements every day and I have been working tirelessly with other people

-Your recommendation: The coin is still to this moment up 600% from IPO prices, I have not sold any, I have been using my own personal funds from my 1 btc purchase during IPO to get things done. I have 0 coins on Poloniex, I stop by to talk in the troll box for minutes at a time between projects and hardly worry about the price let alone selling.

I really appreciate constructive criticism, and I try to reply to everything. If you want to help us or tell me what it is people want moving forward please feel free to send me PMs and I will address them. I get things done quickly, everybody onboard knows I mean business.

Hi Seriouscoin, I think you start talking on the XBC main thread and clear all the accusations about you and of the coin. Its about time, investors are pissed already as you can see whats the current price trend for XBC and all the rest of the things happened while you went MIA without any notice.
2904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE / BIT-ADOPTION! on: July 01, 2014, 05:32:40 PM
The original DCM thread was locked but then a second one was created here.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=661876.40

Although there was some overlap of devs between the two coins we should keep this thread mainly XBC focused.

Oh yeah..... And keep voting !

What happened to digital commerce? The thread is locked and website down??

I doubt it that anyone will answer your question, based from the previous posts that has been made concerning DCM, pls people do not post anymore on this XBC thread what happened to DCM. It would be more fruitful if the people concerned should make another thread with your questions and complaints or directly PM those people. Please do not derail more of this thread about DCM.

Thanks for understanding.

Dude, XBC Dev's were in the team of DCM... Why do you tell us to shut up?? I lost like my complete investment cuz of these scammers. These people choose to develop and/or work together with DCM, they should also face the consequences of these decisions.

I did not say that you guys need to shut up, I just said it will be more fruitful if a proper thread should be made concerning this complaints. Yes I know they were in the DCM team. Have you tried directly sending PM to them? What is happening is, people who are angry about DCM Dev are now using this XBC thread to derail it. Please take not who are the Core DCM Dev team. Wallenstein and Seriouscoins are appointed assistant on this DCM, and at the moment they are on holiday ( that is the reason we are getting ) apart from them I do not know who will be able to answer all your queries here.

Thank you.

Nice whitepaper you published today!
Am i correct that the blockhalving is in 3days? Roll Eyes

I think it'll be around Sunday night, early Monday morning.

No wonder those whales are pushing the RZR prices down too hard.
2909  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas (Philippines) on: June 27, 2014, 04:16:47 AM
Bitwarrior, it's a one-way atm, meaning you can only buy bitcoin, not sell bitcoin.  It's the fastest way to buy bitcoin, since you can just feed peso into the machine and it sends to your external wallet.  But it's not the cheapest alternative.  For that you might want to check out one of the exchanges like coinxchange.ph or coins.ph.

I don't know what the limits are.  There's no user registration, so I guess it's not limited.

Thank you for answering my query . Smiley

The first ever Bitcoin ATM in the Philippines brought in by the team from BitMarket.ph and Satoshi Citadel Industries

http://youtu.be/PRzyOOKXTKc

ATM available to use at BitMarket.ph office.

Has anyone use this yet? How is your experience? Any fees to pay for every transaction? For example for withdrawal and deposit scenarios.
What is the maximum amount one can withdraw and deposit in a day?

Thanks.

Lets finish voting ourselves onto this site https://www.usecryptos.com/coinvoting .  We are at #23 but I seem to be the only one left voting.  We can get in here.  It is 1 vote every 30mins.  Just get logged in and vote when you think about it.  It is one of the few things in the op left to do....as far as sites to get on.   Thanks!!!!!!!!!

+1 Smiley

I do appreciate that RZR is now being push to be on this website, but I think it would be great also that we push this coin on cryptsy, and I mean more push to cryptsy for more exposure and volume trading.

Hi Dev, any good news on RZR's and future plans?
Thanks

MP voting promotions should go on

I agree to this, it helps promote the coin to new investors and gives the coin more exposure  with regards to the new coins coming into the market.

Any devs or XBC whales want to run one then? It doesn't usually take much.

Something like .05-.1 XBC per vote, and run it altcoin giveaways and places like that. 100 XBC would then get you 1000-2000 votes on MP. It's cheaper than using btc to vote, anyway. You could even try less XBC and see if it's enough.

Or run it as a contest. Something like every 100 votes someone wins 5-10 XBC. You can make it a random person from that voting group. There are numerous ways to do it.

I'd throw down 100 XBC to get 1000 votes on MP.  I've been voting my a$$ off.  Like 16 votes a day, and once when I take a leak in the middle of the night, since it was listed on MP.  Part of the issue is that we have so little coin holders, so we get so little votes.  Imagine a coin with 1 Billion coins, there is an opportunity to have a sh!t load of coin holders to move the coin up the chain. The community is awesome still, and the reason I'm still buying more XBC (1500+).

So how do i throw down 100 XBC to get 1000 votes?

Try giving away 1 XBC for every first poster (taking a snapshot and have voted ) on  XBC's vote counts for  every 100 incremented  on Mintpal. You may increase the prize as XBC rises in ranks as well. This is only  one suggestion, others may share their ideas.

This is good, I prefer the latter method but lets make it for every 200 votes or higher the change difference and the 1st one who can post the snapshot of it here gets some XBC.
SO any XBC whales out there? Smiley

So long as the dev team doesn't do something really stupid, like extend their vacations for 3 months, or decide to promote DCM to people already burned by it, logically one would think the coin would go up -- based on MP, if nothing else.

I still think some MP voting promotions should go on, just to keep pace with other coins and keep other coins from sneaking up. And that whitepaper on the wallet's upcoming anon features would help a lot to keep the price stable, at the least.

If you guys at Razortech (along with Bryce) work as hard as the Vericoin team to get updates, new features, etc we are gonna go far with Razor  Wink

Op has stated as well as that interview with Bryce.  There is a lot going on behind the scenes.

A lot of people missed out on the first few days of mining since this thread got buried so easily.  I suspect right now people are trying to accumulate without driving up the drive to high.  Once we got block 20,000 and the rewards drop even more I feel that's when we will start to see the price really start to increase.

If you notice the price hovers around 10.5-12k and if it gets up to high it gets pushed back down.

I think it less the issue of seeing progress, and more simply seeing the lead dev post a bit more often. It probably doesn't help that the official xbc forums are currently broken too.

Hello all, I'm one of the XBC admins - actually the bloke who created the forums and made the branding video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXxzjcVLEvc). I guess in the absence of Seriouscoins, I'll step up to the table and explain what's been going on.

Firstly, the forums - these are not broken, I've actually moved them to a new URL and I'm in the process of upgrading them massively with new features like a trading section and access to other currencies. The reason why I'm doing this is because I realised that individual coin communities are essentially transient - ie they are only a member of the community during the time they hold the currency. These people are rapidly replaced by new investors and the cycle begins again. In my opinion, that's not the way to lay down strong roots for a community, so opening things up to all crypto investors is more likely to hold people's interest for a longer period of time.

I'm not going to post the new forum URL here on account of the fact that they're still not finished, but if people PM me, I'll be glad to give this info privately.

Secondly, the website - again I have been working with Wallenstein on developing a new version of the site and this will be switched over once complete - hopefully by the end of the weekend. I'm a firm believer in 'less is more' and the new site has massively simplified things by making things easier to find, whilst getting rid of 'extraneous bumpf' which doesn't do anything except for cloud the message. Essentially the new site will deliver the message that it's supposed to.

Finally, we have Mindfox ready to start working on an updated wallet and some new features like anon, however we're waiting on other admins to get back from their summer holidays before things get finalised here.

In he meantime, I have no problems with being people's point of contact on here and I'll answer questions to the best of my abilities.

Thanks for stepping up and providing us an update on what is the latest happening on XBC.
Good to hear these stuffs brewing in the background.

2919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE / BIT-ADOPTION! on: June 25, 2014, 03:25:49 AM
Well hopefully your dev team didn't bail on you guys like they did on DCM.  Locked the tread.  Took down the site.  DCM is trading at 200 satoshi.  No one responds to PMs.  Don't know how that collaboration is going to go now......looks like nothing will happen with your coin either.

Being that 2 of the assistants over there are devs with you guys, I think you guys are fucked too.  Sorry to say.

Hopefully not Sad

I hope the dev team can  give us an update on what is happening on the XBC website for the community forum? Its been closed for maintenance for the past several days and its more than 48 hours already. I think that wednesday 22:15 GMT was last June 18, 2014

2920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitcoinPlus (XBC) / MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE / BIT-ADOPTION! on: June 25, 2014, 02:48:04 AM

Chill everyone.... I know people start freaking out when they don't hear from a dev in 1-2 days but there is progress happening especially with the wallet road map given.  Just relax and if you have the extra BTC in hand pick up some of the cheap XBC right now while you can.

I think it less the issue of seeing progress, and more simply seeing the lead dev post a bit more often. It probably doesn't help that the official xbc forums are currently broken too.

The weird thing, as stated, is how there doesn't seem to be much promotion going on, voting contests or a push for MP, when the coin is so close. Other coins go crazy when they get into the top 50 sometimes... here it's top 5, and everything goes silent.

If anyone is the organizational type, and has a lot of spare XBC, all I can suggest is they organize their own voting giveaway. I know of several forums that handle that sort of thing... good for marketing too.

I agree to this, I have done my part of sharing, I hope some big fish will do his share and not be totally greedy of his own XBCs, its for the long term effect.
