Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ??

It's on!

Biden Vs Trump.

With a slump in the midterms, can The Don reclaim the crown?

Would you put a wager on it?

With hours to go before Joe Biden is sworn in as the 46th President of the United States of America, will he stand down in two years time age 80 and give the electors a glimpse of a Harris administration for two years?

Or, will President Biden serve for four years and seek re-election in 2024?

Who will be the Republican challenger? Donald Trump, his daughter Ivana Marie "Ivanka" Trump... Mike Pence?

Will Bernie Sanders, Taylor Swift or even Kanye West have enough momentum to be a serious or credabital contender?

What odds would you expect to see for each of the challengers, and, if Bitcoin is worth about $36,000 right now, what might it be worth in four years time when the election is called?

In post two I'll post odds and websites taking wagers.

I've got no problem with actmyname's work in cleaning up the forum and trust his work even when his enemies have attacked me for my DT trust of actmyname. ( E.g. Foxpup )

actmyname will always be welcome in the Known Alts thread.

Too bad theymos won't remove signatures - then what would you complain about?

Better yet, what would these users actually post about?

The running commentary on the rise and rise of bitcoin's overall value in this thread makes me realise some of these people are prepared to complain from within, but know they would never get let back in (once the price of Bitcoin goes down again) were they to actually walk away as some not in the SigCamp have suggested.

I did say last night that if the rain cleared (which it did, turning into a fine day) that India would go on to win the game (and the series)

Congratulations to the Indian team and their supporters.

Hey @JSRAW, are you in Brisbane, or just watching the game elsewhere?

If you're looking for more places to broadcast (some call it accelerate) your transactions, then look no further than this:

[Guide] Broadcast Your RAW Transaction (Push TX) BTC & Alts coins

Hopefully this will help free up some of freebitco.in's funds for use in new projects.

When you deposit to us we sweep funds greater than 0.00050000 to 1Fu3iBR2EMQWeYGi3XvrPmcPUkne8ZWj9h
There is currently 229 BTC of dust deposits that haven't been swept.

If I can make a suggestion:

You need to have a conversation with @LoyceV about options to sweep that dust, or, at the very least, check out his thread:

Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!

More likely to implement Lightning Network for deposits first.

One option is to sweep the dust into outbound LN channels for near instant near fee free payouts which will enable you to have inbound capacity. Plus providing a node to connect to you get instant inbound capacity (which is usually what people intend to gamble with anyhow.

I'll put you in touch with the relevant people/threads should you choose to utilise the Lighting Network. (And, I'll be happy to open a LN channel to you too)

I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread that I tend to merit totally random users, usually not more than once then move on. If there really is a phenomenon of boomeranging merits back to the sender, then it's not being done by the majority of forum members if my 80th placed merit circle is any indication.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 18, 2021, 10:18:41 AM
There's been some scattered showers in and around Brisbane this evening and will probably continue until around midnight. If the covers come off first thing I the morning, then it'll be a full day of play (i.e. with some determination India will play hard and win)

If the covers stay on, or play is interrupted, then India will loose it's rhythm and will limp towards a draw.

There are plenty of opportunities for freebitco.in users to place wagers on various Rugby matches.

E.g. the State of Origin, Bledisloe Cup and the Super Sevens to name a few.

You can express gratitude in another way, by replying to his post, in a private message, or adding him to members you trust.

No.

That's buying trust with merits and should be taken into consideration whenever you want to "return the favour" of having been showered with merits, especially from a merit source.
2933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 16, 2021, 07:11:26 AM
It seems the match maybe resume after the inspection from the umpires and if there is no further rain we could have the complete quota of overs for today with that 30 minute extra time. But the weather forecast for the day 4 and 5 is not that good.

I've just seen that further play has been abandoned for the rest of the day. There's scattered showers lingering around the southside and it's quite overcast throughout the city.

I managed to see Loyd take a wicket earlier - he's one of the few consistent bowlers Australia has I feel.
2934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 16, 2021, 04:00:11 AM
It's raining on Brisbane's inner Northside at the moment (quite heavily in fact) ... Well... It *was* raining quite heavily, now it's stopped again...

I wouldn't be surprised if play is halted very soon. (If it doesn't rain on Brisbane's inner South East, then it's going to become even more hot and steamy than it already is)

Some images won't load if they have

Code:
http://

instead of

Code:
https://

or visaversa as the case may be.

Other times the Forum program will decide it won't request images from one host site for a while, then the image comes back to life as is the case with the Known Alts logo which sometimes goes into hibernation.
2936  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project on: January 15, 2021, 11:33:37 PM
At least Tor is being blamed for not supporting BPIP, and not the other away around.  Smiley

Do you think a read-only stats website needs Tor?

I suppose I could rehash the merits of a person wanting privacy while online, but given you've raised a fair point, all I can answer is at least now if someone else asks they can be pointed to this discussion.
2937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 02:07:03 PM
New rules such as The Power Surge, X-Factor etc coming out nicely with in the game?

I'd be happy if they just played "hit the bloody ball ya mug!" Every once in a while.

All joking aside, Australia's players need to stop preening themselves in the mirror and get back to basics starting with practing in the nets.
2938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 11:45:51 AM
Well... At least David Warner got ONE run before he took the long walk back to the pub.

The BBL games this past week have been a lot more interesting to watch (even if the players fielding do all kinds of cart-wheels while trying to catch the ball...) 🙄
2939  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project on: January 15, 2021, 11:39:14 AM
What's the Onion URL for bpip?

suchmoon regularly tells people they should be using Tor Browser (ironically it doesn't support BPiP) but I can't find any mention of an Onion address in this thread for the site.

Not dead after all: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=76380

I've just received a PM from this user wishing me a "Covid free Happy New Year."

(I can't find the more recent thread otherwise I'd post there instead)

Interestingly, this thread of theirs from 2017 has had the OP deleted in the last few minutes and the thread locked.
