Gujrat Titans were the better team throughout the whole tournament. I'm just amazed that Hardik Pandya did so well as a captain for Gujrat Titans, he also performed well. I am not sure I can fully agree with this. There was again this portion of luck that led once more to that one goal out of two attempts. That was no "cross-ball" that led as a serve for Vinicius Junior. It was actually meant to become a shot on target. So when you only have two chances the whole game, and you use one that came with a portion of luck, does that make you a special team? I wouldn't argue against that if Madrid had like 5 / 6 / 7 attempts on target and there was a lucky one that finally ended in the back of the net. But here it was 1 out of 2, once more an absolutely weird game. Doesn't mean that Madrid wouldn't have won in the end anyway. Sure, if Liverpool didn't manage to score, it could still have been Real Madrid in the end who take it home. But this one was the continuation of the whole final CL round for Madrid.  The game was a little weird of course but I think the goal happened because the last defender was watching the ball and not guarding the attacker of Real Madrid. RCB RCB Congratulations! You predicted the winner and acquired the margin point successfully. Never expected RCB to give Lucknow such a big target. Rajat played the innings of his lifetime. Lucknow was seriously unlucky since RR barely took the 2nd position thanks to a slightly higher NRR. IPL 2022 will be remembered as one of the most inconsistent seasons ever since so many teams kept flip-flopping throughout our the season. Even with a big target like RCB 207, it was not certain that they would qualify for the finals. Bangalore's bowlers bowled brilliantly in the death overs. They have bowled very controlled. And Bangalore won because they managed to control themselves in the last 3 overs. The match between Rajasthan and Bangalore is also expected to be competitive. |
