Yes, there are now two coins with x11 and POS that came out this weekend. Both have massive premines... that badgercoin even has their thread moderated... so shady.

This is good news for The Hemp Coins switch over to x11 with growing season. It will probably be ready soon. The Hemp Coin had no premine. The devs are in this for the love/support of cryptocurrency and hemp. This is a long term coin that will withstand any large bag holder selling off their coins.

Neither of those coins have "coin control" though. I hope the devs can get that in at some point.

I will mine this coin but probably leave when the next x11 + POS that has no premine comes out.

It is too bad they all look the same for every coin.

Are they any charts to see which coins are moving up the fastest day by day on mintpal? The Hemp Coin is just blowing by all these other coins (Some of them are really good coins).

There is chat on poloniex about hempcoin and people wanting to buy a bunch before it gets on mintpal. It is coming up fast on mintpal so I would think poloniex or bittrex will want to add it soon because once it hits mintpal they will most likely take over 90% of the trading activity for hempcoin.

The wallet can be closed. You can put them in a paper wallet (I made some paper wallets that I will keep for a 2 years and 5 years as savings plans). Moving coins between wallets restarts the growing season. For the grown coins to show up on the block explorer you will have to have them in an open wallet. If you put coins in an offline wallet, when you move them to an online wallet all the growing coins will appear.

*I haven't tested any of this out. I think this is how it all works. I will let you know next month after I have grown some coins.

I think it means after your coins are in your wallet they start making 5% every 45 days. I am not sure exactly though. This coin is too new. I have not had any coins for 45 days.

I like this better than a premine but I would still prefer just nothing.

By no means has pot coin or dope coin become huge but still they are 40 times harder to mine than THC. If you want to really get involved in a coin this is a good one. You can mine lots of coins and then become a supporter. In 8 days you can mine the same amount of pot coins it would take 1 year to mine! Also only 250,000,000 hempcoins (+ POS coins) compared to 420,000,000 pot coins so it is twice as rare. The earlier you start mining the sooner you will also start to earn POS coins.

BUT...

The best reason you should mine this coin...


is that it's turning to an x11 with proof of stake coin in about 1 month +/- some time! (This is really happening, it isn't just speculation. It is just a hard task to complete.)



This coin is going to be huge. This might get pumped and dumped once it gets on mintpal. Feel free to dump your coins the moment it gets on mintpal and then buy them back the next day for less if you think that is what's going to happen but x11 and proof of stake will make sure it has a very long lifespan. There is also work on a process to integrate THC payments with current Point of Sale systems that credit cards currently use.

I have one instance of sgminer open and one instance of cgminer open. Both running at the same time. I was switching coin to a scrypt coin and was like wtf... why am I only getting 350kh/s after 10 minutes of letting it startup then i realised that i was still mining darkcoin at around the same speed as normal

Sorry, I meant "simultaneously". Mining x11 and scrypt. Two coins at once. I can mine an x11 coin at 2mh/s and a scrypt coin at 350kh/s simultaneously with each r9 280x.
