2921  Other / Meta / Re: Top reporters on: September 20, 2021, 02:25:25 PM
Come on theymos, you did it. Thanks for publishing the top reporter list of the last year's. No doubt this post will encourage more forum users to report actively. And thanks to all of you who are helping the forum to keep clean by reporting spam. Though at the beginning I tried to report as much as possible, but the number becomes less due to busy in real life. But sure, still reporting if found spam in front of me though can't search for spam now. I am pretty sure more users will work hard to add their names to the list. Expecting a similar list every year or month.
2922  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINEX EXCHANGE IS SCAM? on: September 19, 2021, 06:05:32 PM
OP can you please share more details? Even you don't share the website link. So we don't know either you enter the real site or phishing site. It's possible you may fall into phishing attempts as well, we can't ignore that truth. A similar account like Coinex seems around the forum and it's active. I am not sure if the account is related to the exchange. Please provide some more details like scam amount, exchange website, a screenshot of funds, and chats.
2923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What we think is a quality post on: September 19, 2021, 05:57:50 PM
The definition of is quality post is quite complicated. Because it varies on our opinions. Since our thoughts wouldn't be the same here with each other the definition of quality posts would be different as well. For me, at least the post should be meaningful somehow. Doesn't matter it's one line or two, but the sentence should carry out some meaningful thoughts that would be helpful somehow for others. High quality and just quality aren't the same. As a merit source, I just look if the post is considered a good post at least. So, if the post isn't spam means good, if the post above good means quality.
2924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin suitable to become legal tender? on: September 19, 2021, 03:54:25 PM
If the government introduces something, do you think all the population of the country will welcome and use it? I don't think so. A country has multiple mobile financial services. Is all the population of that country using that? Or a person has been using all the services? No, I don't think so. Same even all the population has the ability to use Bitcoin they wouldn't use it. All population interests wouldn't be the same as well. But it won't prevent Bitcoin become a legal tender. It's true when any other country intends to legalize Bitcoin same as El Salvador, then most likely they will take a deep look at El Salvador to understand reality. So a negative impact from El Salvador would prevent Bitcoin adaption too.
2925  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best free trading Signals telegram channels on: September 19, 2021, 03:31:53 PM
First of all trading signal wouldn't be best, either it's paid or free. I am in a few free trading signal groups and once a time I was in a paid group as well. To be honest the signals are just more worst than my idea though I am not a good trader at all. Most trading signal groups just taking advantage of themselves by providing a signal. Once traders start buy based on the signal, then signal providers empty their bags. So ultimately you aren't beneficial of the signal. From the free signal groups, I am just getting updates about the news. They share a few news about cryptocurrency so quickly. That's all.
2926  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit is ultimate scam and thiefs! proven pictures must look! on: September 18, 2021, 07:11:53 PM
Nothing new here. You are giving warning others but you didn't hear yourself. Because you didn't visit scam accusation against 1xbit on the forum. The same others will not see your thread and will create accusations after getting a scam. That will just continue due to our laziness. A lot of scam accusations you will find with the same allegation. This means this is a very scam method of 1xbit. Newbies don't research before getting scam and fall into that like you. The gave of scam 1xbit will never end.
2927  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM EXCHANGE] BITRUE.COM ~ 200,000 USD on: September 18, 2021, 07:04:00 PM
Good to hear you recovered your BSV. Since it has done although after a long awaiting, hope your BCHA will be recover soon. To be honest I wasn't much aware of this exchange and I won't dare to make this kind of large amount on this exchange. When you are dealing with such as big amount try to choose transparent and reputed exchange always. Anyway thanks for sharing your experience, other users would take a lesson from that and they could handle their fund with care.
2928  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com - options not available on: September 18, 2021, 06:48:24 PM
No, I didn't hear such as issue about blockchain wallets. We have been noticing many complaints regarding blockchain wallets nowadays. Do you have funds in your wallet? Can you check all of your addresses and check if there is a balance on explorer? Have you tried to log in with apps? I have seen Blockchain have apps linked on their website. You may try it if works for you. Otherwise, you have only two options as said above. Either you have to contact support or export your seed phrase and import somewhere like Electrum.

Here is the guide on how may you backup your wallet. Try it if you have all the access to your wallet. How do I back up my Wallet?
2929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC users actually care about privacy? on: September 18, 2021, 06:31:00 PM
If you ask me then only 5% of Bitcoin users care about privacy. Nowadays it's become impossible to use reputed and Big centralized exchange. So privacy is already exposed when you are using one of them who required KYC. If you go to trade P2P then there are liquidity and fees issues. More concern you will not find your desired trading pair. Only holders could prevent their privacy who aren't related with any centralized exchange.

We don't have a choice.  Avoiding centralized exchange means we will face many issues during buy and sell our cryptocurrency. Even do we care about our wallet privacy? Those wallets have been using could trace our IP address if you aren't using VPN or Tor. Even we want to keep our privacy but sometimes we are hopeless. It's too much hassle for a few people dealing with Bitcoin without centralized exchange.
2930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official: 'Paypal opened crypto buy/sell 4 customers in the UK' on: September 17, 2021, 05:31:00 PM
Market reaction is over if you ask me. I can recall this news was published before 2 or 3 days. So the market is already related then and the current market is playing normally. However, it was expected since PayPal decide to allow to buying Bitcoin and hold. So it was a matter of time when they will allow selling as well. Of course, this is a good sign and most probably it's just an experiment that would encourage acceptance in more countries.
2931  Other / Meta / Re: My post got locked? on: September 17, 2021, 04:30:51 PM
Op: you mean apart from the fact you are self admitted gambler and that you are fourteen years of age?

You really are "gaming" the system, or, you are increadably nieve.

I'm wondering why you aren't banned already.
Banned from where? From the forum or from the gambling sites? I don't think there is any relation with ages posting about gambling. I am not sure if I am missing anything since I am not in much active gambling section. If there are age restrictions on the gambling platform then it's the responsibility of the platforms to prevent him.

By the way, seems the thread has been unlocked. There is more worst post exist on the gambling section than OP's post.  So I don't think it's something to lock the thread.

OP should lock this thread from the lower left since your problem has been solved.
2932  Other / Meta / Re: Delete/Merit button on: September 17, 2021, 04:16:35 PM
Let's assume there is a merit button as you want. And you discover a user that would deserve merits which led to you to visit users post history. Imagine you have found a few quality posts where he deserves merit and you merited as well. Then, later on, you discovered that the user just copy-pastes other's content or just repeats with modifications, what will you do? There is no demerit option that you can withdraw merits. There are more scenarios that possibly would happen, I just give you an example. But I agree with adding a delete button. If a user realizes that he made a wrong or shit post, then he could clear that.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economists say each BTC transaction to 272g of waste on: September 17, 2021, 01:20:18 PM
Will statistics such as these (though debatable) affect the way investors continue to invest in Bitcoin and crypto in general?
No. I don't think so. I am wondering why the calculation is too tight when it's come for Bitcoin. Are wasting and pollution only coming from Bitcoin? There are many sectors still alive that are generating a lot of wastage. Is all this business going to stop? If not, then Bitcoin investors shouldn't stop as well from investing in Bitcoin. And I don't think Bitcoin investors are thinking about wastage before investing in Bitcoin. Same as when you are buying a company share you don't consider how much waste is generating from this industry.
2934  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Communicate with the BTC Network without a Full Node?? on: September 16, 2021, 06:23:35 PM
Are we not doing that? For me (the person) using Bitcoin networks like make transactions, creating addresses, and sign messages from that wallet that doesn't have to download full node. For example, I am using Ledger and Electrum. But eventually, all the transactions and addresses are directly connected with full nodes and saving all the records of your actions. It's pretty simple to understand. Just use Google for that you will get hundreds of answers.

OP, please read about Simplified Payment Verification (SPV)
2935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What if I don't know how to trade on: September 16, 2021, 06:11:43 PM
Questions always will raise where people live. But sometimes users of this forum make few stupid questions. Where they could learn from previous discussions, instead of that just simply raising questions like how to trade, when BTC will go $100K, and so on. In the beginning, people think trading is the way of becoming quickly rich which isn't true at all. There are many platforms from where we can learn how to trade like YouTube. But for gaining experience we should trade ourselves with a small fund. On the forum teaching you how to trade is quite impossible. But we may share our experience how to gain or share a few technical discussions which would help to improve our trading skills. That's what we can get from the forum.
2936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [scalpers] Don't just join a moving train on: September 16, 2021, 03:03:30 AM
This kind of trade is always risky and I think only pro traders doing that. And that traders are well aware of what they are going to do. Scalpers wouldn't or shouldn't stay long since it's a short trade. Also they do not wait for a big profit. It's just taking advantage of sudden volatile. For me, I don't trade scalp trading since I am not a pro trader and I can't determine where is golden crossing point or so. I just like to join only the train standby at the station. I just stay away from the moving train.
2937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you already noticed about the changing of identity verification of Binance ? on: September 16, 2021, 02:50:34 AM
Yea noticed that during use Binance apps. But I can recall the matter has been discussed multiple times and most probably I were made the first thread. But yes, it's good you remind it again, and Binance giving notice to their users as well. I can't see any mail from them regarding that issue. I think it's quite important to do so because a few users would be out of apps so notice them through the mail and mobile number would speedup users action. My account was fully verified before and now it seems Intermediate Verified. But the limits are the same as before. Most probably that's why I hadn't received any mail or SMS.
2938  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Influence the Bitcoin Market on: September 15, 2021, 05:44:07 PM
OP, did you translate this from another site, by any chance?
Second that. It was in mind what I was going to write. But seems you already point it out. Because when I have been reading the post, I was getting hard to understand what exactly OP wants to say. However, I am assuming he wants to talk about Bitcoin influencers and how could we help Bitcoin influencing.

Back to the OP, those we are somehow related with Bitcoin. Most of us acting as an influencer. Definitely, we share our thoughts among Bitcoiners and close friend circles. But no one knows about that since we aren't a celebrity at all. Likely some of us just holding or playing with Bitcoin silently, that's not notable. The trues influences could come out from celebrities since people follow them.
2939  Economy / Economics / Re: Boost of a countries economy on: September 15, 2021, 05:30:49 PM
I know Bitcoin keeping a role in the economy. But it can't rule the economy right now. We don't what will happen after hundreds of years and we don't need to know as well since we will not alive till then. If a country fully legalizes Bitcoin then it would help to boost the economy. Otherwise, we can't see much effect of Bitcoin on the overall economic system. To boost the economy we have to maintain so many things, if it was soo easy then the poor country could boost their economy just by allowing or legalizing Bitcoin. As I said, Bitcoin would only help, can't rule in this current scenario.
2940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the scammer companies earn through bitcoin ? on: September 15, 2021, 04:59:41 PM
The scammer uses many payment gateways to scam people. So besides that payment gateway scammers using Bitcoin as a payment gateway that doesn't have any relation with Bitcoin. It just works the same as other payment methods. But surprisingly a few people highlight the only Bitcoin for that kind of ponzi scam.

OP mentioned a kind of traditional scam method which was called revenue-share. But nowadays I can't see any traditional revenue-share sites. I don't know if they exist or I am missing them. But still, Ponzi schemes like HYIP is existed and scamming us. If you aren't much greedy then shouldn't fall into this stupid scam attempt. Just try to earn Bitcoin through legal way.
