It is not hard for me to sympathize though, I personally have witnessed who people with addictions or other kind of problems struggle with emocional and psychological distress, so I can indeed feel bad for them and try to kindly explain to them that their money is likely gone forever.
Many gamblers are addicts who end up losing a large portion of their hard earned funds thanks to their addictions which is why it's easy to sympathise with them, but an addiction to getting scammed is different in comparison.

The risks associated with gambling are amplified to another level when playing in scam sites which is why I have no idea why some people would invest in scam sites even after getting scammed by them.

Such nonsensical decisions screw those gamblers and help these scam sites stay in business.
2922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T-20 CWC Prediction Pool 2022 on: October 21, 2022, 06:17:46 PM
This is what it looks like.

Windies getting knocked out before Super 12 blew my mind and it shows the state of their team at present. Alzarri Joseph was the only game-changer in their team in my opinion.

I don't think Australia will win the World Cup this time around even though they have home ground advantage making them the favorites. Excited for the upcoming matches.
2923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Man Won $51,000 in Sports Betting With a Bet of Just $1.072 on: October 21, 2022, 05:57:01 PM
This is one of those insane wins for sure and it proves the fact that it's possible to win big from gambling as long as luck sides with you big-time.

For example, I remember this particular woman who won millions through a 10 pounds bet or something. That win blew my mind away when I first heard of it. It's like winning a lottery though the odds in this case are way better.

Also, I do agree with op about keeping such big wins private since boasting about them isn't something a wise person would do.
2924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: October 21, 2022, 12:07:21 PM
Bad betting day for me. Lost both my bets thanks to West Indies playing like crap and Scotland making it easy for Zimbabwe to move forward. Scotland losing to Zimbabwe was even more surprising than WI losing.

Sri Lanka, Netherlands, Ireland and Zimbabwe secured the remaining spots in the Super 12, but I don't think any of them are capable of winning the cup.
2925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: October 21, 2022, 06:07:55 AM
Time passes quickly as usual. I still remember BTC soaring to that magical price point and I kept thinking that $100K was right around the corner. It's sad to see it struggling to even rise above 20 grand these days, but this is simply a bad phase.

All currencies(FIAT and Crypto) are suffering these days thanks to inflation etc.

Am confident that BTC will rise slowly and steadily back to its previous ATH and surpass it once the global economy recovers completely which probably might take a couple of years.
2926  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 20, 2022, 05:59:20 PM
So my guess is that those who take the risk and create an alternative account, it is because they believe the odds are worth it. I  personally do not like the idea, that is only a personal theory anyways.  I think this last guy said he did it because he admits to have an addiction to gambling, but he did not choose to continue gambling on other place instead 1xbit...
Crazy stuff. It's very rare to see gamblers invest into a site that already scammed them once which is insane if you think about it. It's tough to understand such gamblers and sympathise with them.

This is basically another form of gambling addiction which is an addiction to getting scammed again and again.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T-20 CWC Prediction Pool 2022 on: October 20, 2022, 04:20:48 PM
Guys can we have little fun in the thread apart from the Pool. Something like team batting first score prediction and so on. One who picks the right slab can be given merits (just a suggestion). This is against the purpose of merit, still it can make some noise in the thread.
This is a great idea to be honest. The group stage matches have been exciting so far. Sri Lanka and Netherlands have qualified successfully(Netherlands should thank UAE) while West Indies and Scotland will most probably take the remaining spots.

It's an interesting idea but unfortunately, we have no merit source in the cricketing thread lol.

Maybe except Royce, don't know if he's still an active merit source or not.

I do try to spend a majority of my s-merits in the cricketing thread but it's not much so not sure if it's sustainable.
Understandable. We all are aware of the fact that merit is difficult to earn through gambling threads.

Both Stunna and Baskin didn't share any proof to support their respective statements which is why it's easier to believe Stunna when compared to Baskin in this case.

I've already responded here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5383835.msg59535373#msg59535373

And since then he has attempted to abuse on more accounts.
Just checked the thread which you linked and your explanation makes sense even though you didn't provide any proof to support whatever you stated. These match-fixing groups are a serious threat to all betting sites.
2929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game Have You Won The Most From And How Much In Total? on: October 20, 2022, 05:20:16 AM
I'll keep it simple op. You are right and your friend is right which implies that it's completely possible for one person to win big and for another person to never win big. I'm only referring to 100% luck based games in this context.

It's possible to rely less on luck and more on skill in skill based games like Poker, Sports betting etc where experience does tend to help in the short-term and the long-term.

The highest amount that I won so far was around 10 grand from a crazy soccer accumulator which felt amazing.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: October 19, 2022, 06:18:00 PM
Run-rate matters a lot now, since most of the teams are having 2 points each. Let's look at each of the 8 teams.

Group A

Netherlands: Only team with 4 points at this point. But their next match is against Sri Lanka. And their run-rate is below that of both Namibia and Sri Lanka. My prediction is that Netherlands may finish at the 3rd place and miss the Super-12.

Sri Lanka: Rebounded from their shocking loss to Namibia, with a strong win against the UAE. Next match is against Netherlands and in all probability they should win it by a big margin. My prediction is that they will finish at either 1st or 2nd place in Group A.

Namibia: Remaining match is against the UAE. They should win this match with ease. Given the good NRR, they should finish at 1st position and proceed to the Super-12.

UAE: out of the world cup.

Group B

West Indies: Lost to Scotland, but destroyed Zimbabwe. In NRR, they are well behind Scotland. A big win against Ireland may propel them to 1st position, but it will be quite difficult. My prediction is 2nd position in Group B.

Scotland: Pathetic loss to Ireland, but still their NRR is quite good. If they manage to defeat Zimbabwe, then they should finish at the top of the group.

Ireland: Remaining match against West Indies. Not much hope. May finish at 4th position.

Zimbabwe: Will be the underdogs in the match against Scotland. May finish at 3rd position.
Great analysis overall. I was stunned to see Scotland lose against Ireland when they were cruising towards a win at one particular stage. What a crazy start to this World Cup edition.

Both Sri Lanka and West Indies rebounded nicely and am expecting them to end up in the 1st or 2nd positions in their respective groups. Hasaranga, Theekshana and Alzarri are their key players if you ask me.

Netherlands and Scotland will most probably occupy the other spots in their respective groups as you mentioned.
2931  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: October 19, 2022, 04:06:30 PM
Popular sites like Crypto.Games, Stake, Bitcasino, Sportsbet etc are all safe and reliable as long as you take all the necessary steps to safeguard your accounts using security features like 2FA etc.

Don't invest in new crypto gambling sites no matter how tempting they are unless they prove themselves to be 100% reliable in the short-term.
2932  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 19, 2022, 11:55:17 AM
It’s brutal to threat them that way but you have a point since they sold there reputation for a penny payment when they participate on 1xbit campaign knowing that it’s a scam and it will cost  them there reputation but he also has a valid point that there words sometimes can give contribution if the content is really informative. Tag is just a personal judgement by DT which not the official law of the forum.

FYI I’m not with them. I’m just tackling the contribution over reputation but I’m not making comment about his post quality because I didn’t review it. I’m speaking in general discussion.
1xbit and similar scam site shills deserve to be scolded since they are helping these scam sites flourish by attracting innocent victims which helps them sustain their businesses in the long-term.

I understand what you are trying to say here, but it's difficult to trust any shill willing to do anything for the sake of money.
2933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: October 19, 2022, 05:16:30 AM
Even right now, these minors are able to have positive results against Big-3, but they can as we have history of upsets in many events specially in cricket where big teams loses against them badly things like these still going on many associate countries have good players which need better facilities and chances for giving their best so here ICC role is key for this all development and progress of this game, but they are not doing as they need to be done.
You are missing the point here. Associate nations like Namibia, Scotland, Netherlands etc have improved a lot over time, but they still can't compete against big teams consistently. Better funding could help them in the long-term.

Scotland has started quite well against Ireland. If they win this match, then they will end up with 4 points, with the match against Zimbabwe remaining. And Ireland will be out of the world cup. Anything above 140-150 will be a winning total, given the bowler-friendly conditions at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. And we need to remember that the Irish batsmen are in horrible form at this point.
Scotland are still playing well at the moment. They are set to post a total close to 170 at this rate unless they collapse. Looks like Ireland are going to exit the tournament.
2934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 18, 2022, 06:43:30 PM
There are many threads available to answer this particular query op. Coming to your question, very few crypto gambling sites are strictly zero KYC platforms who actually enforce it without any sort of bullshit whatsoever.

Some examples that come to my mind are betting exchanges like Fairlay, sportsbooks like Sportsbet.io etc. These recommendations are solely based on my experience with them.
2935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc Will be USD and USD Will be btc on: October 18, 2022, 06:04:05 PM
Confusing post. I guess op is trying to state that BTC is the new USD while USDT will become the new BTC later on. If this is accurate, you are delusional op since BTC will never overtake USD and USDT will never overtake BTC.

Why? Because BTC was never created to completely replace and overtake popular FIAT like USD. Instead, it was designed to serve as an alternate payment currency.

Also, BTC will always be the king of cryptocurrencies and USDT or any other cryptocurrency will never overtake it in the short-term and the long-term.
2936  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 18, 2022, 12:46:55 PM
A red tag from people don't really shows that someone is bad, but the problem is the be person is tag the level of it's sincerity, like so many of us in 1xbit we have not scam somebody before and we heard so many negative tag with different different people and that doesn't mean that we won't bring a good information to the forum, tag is different from character of someone
Lol. A 1xbit shill like you isn't qualified to talk about right or wrong to be frank. Red tags in this forum are justified majority of the time and they are almost always justified in the case of 1xbit shills.

Also, you shills are wasting your time and effort trying to justify yourselves to other members of this forum in my opinion.
2937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: October 18, 2022, 05:22:33 AM
Congratulations man, you did it. Actually, Group Stage is kinda hard to predict.
Lol. Why are you congratulating him? He placed a bet on Ireland and lost since Ireland lost against Zimbabwe.

No but this is somewhat fishy or unexpected?
Srilanka winning Asia Cup and get bottled against Namibia + West Indies against Scotland is of course somewhat unexpected. Srilanka's current team is not that bad either. We have seen how they bounced back in Asia Cup after losing against Afghanistan. Anyway, it's cricket and you have to accept every result regardless of its being fishy or unexpected. We see such moments very rarely.
How is it fishy? No team should be underestimated in the T-20 format due to the unpredictability factor which you mentioned yourself. Sri Lanka and West Indies played like crap and deserved to lose at the end of the day.
2938  Economy / Gambling / Re: All the truth about Crazy Time! Is Crazy Time Rigged? on: October 17, 2022, 05:48:09 PM
In the article, they explain that that game has a higher HE. Losing money in the casino is normal, because the odds are against you. If the HE of the casino is higher than in other games, losing streaks are more common.

The article ends by saying that they cannot assure 100% that it is rigged, although neither that it is not. In these things I tend to think that the most likely thing is that it is not rigged, a casino is a money making machine simply by being able to attract customers. Mathematics does the rest (although you have to have a good bankroll management and set bet limits accordingly, for example).
Well said. The problem is that most gamblers aren't aware of terms like house edge etc which is why they end up blaming the casino whenever they lose without providing sufficient proof to support their statements.

Op is clearly one of them. If crazy time was actually rigged, it would have gotten banned immediately and its operator would have gotten screwed royally.
2939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T-20 CWC Prediction Pool 2022 on: October 17, 2022, 03:06:59 PM
Guys, what do you think? Should we cancel the pool if our numbers are less than 10?
Personally, I have no issues with just 7 or 8 members of I'm being honest since I feel that's plenty for a month of fun. Some of the participants in the previous pools weren't even active most of the time which is why I had no idea why they participated.

If the majority feel that we should cancel this pool, that's what we should do. If not, we should proceed with it.
2940  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 17, 2022, 01:18:06 PM
Constant scam accusations against Stake these days though most of them are pure crap while only a couple of them are legit. Tough to trust op here considering his past reputation which is reflected through his negative trust ratings.

I feel that op is fighting a pointless battle here since I don't really think Stake management will take his claims seriously unless he provides solid proof as some of the posters above mentioned.
