2921  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: September 05, 2022, 06:25:51 PM
Inflation in my country per month continues to increase by an average of about 0.4% per month based on information from the State Statistics Department.

Which country is that? It will do well if you can add the link to the statistics for reference purpose, i believe many countries were also found wanting inbthis aspect as well while some are just devicing means out of the inflation through their economy.

But what residents feel is more than that number. the price of food continues to rise, the price of transportation increases, so do the daily necessities

The ugly part of it all is that whenever there is inflation and prices go up, they find it difficult to control in bringing it down as before, deflation is what is found as uncommon to many developing countries whereby their government are yet to build a resistive measures in the control of inflation whenever it was first sighted.

But maybe my country isn't badly affected by inflation. because the increase is still affordable by the community. so that no particular group has voiced demonstrations. but if this inflation continues. then maybe there will be protests.

The question here is what measure can we use in identifying the country with the highest inflation from others because everyone seems to be affected this time around, but the rate is what makes the difference.

The whole market is going down, nothing can be promised yet, but I wish you list the name of the coins you bought so we can give you a better predict about the coin. The big question is hope you invested what you can afford to lose because the market shape is really bad.

No need of him listing the list of tokens bought as long as he's not investing on bitcoin but rather altcoins he stands on a high risk fast track as far as am concern, we all know what other cryptocurrencies out there constitute, moreover its not advisable to start investing on altcoins not until you think you have the boldness in going for such risk thereof, and a user should have at least two or more years of experience with bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large amd the beginners and help section here have been always empathizing on related topics in relevant discussion threads, if you're lucky OP then it may rise but if not then it will definitely join it fellow shitcoins in pithell of nowhere.
2923  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: September 05, 2022, 06:00:03 PM
Don't let us get this twisted, gambling is what you conclude it to be by yourself, not what anyone concludes for you.

That's right mate, the final judgement must be made from the user's end which is the gambler after several considerations onbthe whole situation especially in football matches, we cannot undermine the impact of others view and approaches in the games, but as I've said earlier that the final judgement mist be from our end, you determine what you see, play and stake after several analysis

And some of the criteria to judge whether gambling is bad for you or not are your psychology towards gambling and why you are gambling, whether for money or fun.

Definitely every gambker must fall into either of these two categories, somebeven engage into gambling to whine away time in other to avoid boredom thereby making fun out of it not minding the cost in there.

2924  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: September 05, 2022, 05:48:27 PM
Some people do called it beginners luck but eventually this is really something that do pertains about on how lucky a certain person is

Alot of gamblers have benefited inbthis kind of fortune luck in gambling unintentional, it sometimes happen coincidentally whenbthe gambler least expect such a winning, but nevertheless if we are to compare the chances to this kind of luck then we could see that it's a rare occurrence, a gambker could have spend alot playing with several counts of loss in match prediction over the past before the luck eventually works to their favour in surprise.

Doesnt matter if he's a long time player or not

Yes, but many also make some little mistakes about the approach they give to such luck im casino winning, they would have thought it something that will continue not even considering the casino operators too that they were out for business and not loss, so they eventually keep playing but loosing the more, luck is a no respectannt of experience or years in gambling once it landed

This is a good initiative and has alot of benefit to create among the growing populace of the young generation, also we must tlbe careful by not deviating fron the main purpose in doing this by ensuring the negative side is not allowed to overshadow the expected results and imoact on our children, remember everything good had negative side in which may manifest if not taken care of, we must not fail in helping the children get exposed to only the good side if it all whereby they can develop rach other to the relevant future ahead.
2927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people doing except holding Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2022, 08:05:09 PM
As a user, we cannot say it all what we engage doing aside holding bitcoin, we jave activities in their thousands in which we can try to facilitate it use to get us busy and in bringing in some little earnings adide our bitcoin investment, but despite these, sone still strictly engage and maintain themselves only with bitcoin, but got diversified on different aspects on the bitcoin network, but either of the ways, as long as the end result is yielding something beneficial then i see it worth doing the more.
2928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 04, 2022, 07:57:14 PM
Alot had been said about bitcoin so much due to the price running dip thereby causing some uproar in contemplating views from different angles, I also saw done threads pointing off beat about bitcoin to be a failed currency coming down but so far so good there's much indication that counters all these view yo nothing as bitcoin still remain strong and increases in value the more amidst all challenges, altcoins has no place in the world where bitcoin is ruling because they are all projects built on others work and cannot withstand the test of time, they only last for a short period and end up being failed.
2929  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 4 simple Steps to effective response on threads on: September 03, 2022, 03:45:17 PM
For me, I only response on what I usually do, what I know and what I feel about it. It's their decision not to create an account so your persuasion won't work I think. If they really want to respond to threads then they should have created an account already rather than being a guest lurking in the forum.

You're right and i also supported that, why should everyone trolling around create an account if he doesn't think of doing that the first place, this will help reduce the number of shitposters and unserios minded users that may just coincidentally jump into the forum with gabage from somewhere else, I will also like yo advise thise that creates threads to also haveba follow up onthe discussions going on there, not that you just create a thread and forget about it, i believe why it was first created is for members to contribute, then we mist also learn to be active with those kind of threads and tou must not create a thread unless you have something tangible to present.
2930  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: September 03, 2022, 03:36:58 PM
Hey Bitcointalkers,

What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

There have been a lot of successful yet simple games in online casinos like Heads or Tails, Over/Under, and more. We are looking to see what games you guys love and wonder if we can turn them into an online betting game!
I like to play Dice game on my Mobile phone. I feel comfortable playing it.  And I have brought this game to my verse because of which I am able to make a lot of profit from this game . And the dice game can be played well on my mobile screen.  That's why I play this game in my spare time

I think there's likes of dice, solitaire, sodoku whott and some board games inclusive onbthe mobile version of the games and i appreciate the fact that they can be played and enjoyed on the mobile with feeling any difference from the computer ones being played, i think there are more other games that could be inclusive than the ones that are commonly played, example is hide and seek game, empire throne, animal fight, real estate construction and their likes, we just need to think about something new and then added it ip to the existing ones.
2931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: September 03, 2022, 03:30:33 PM
the government oversees the growth of bitcoin in its country and releases regulations on the use of cryptocurrencies

bitcoin stands on it own and does not need any support to het regulated by government, the network built for it is sustainable enough with blockchain technology, that's why it is totally decentralized, meaning no go government or entity can be able to exercise control or authority over the digital decentralized currency (bitcoin).

Bitcoin have an independent network that can operate from any where as long as the user is connected to the blockchain via the Internet

internet now is no longer a barrier anymore, you can make bitcoin transaction without internet through the use of your mobile by dialing codes and following the prompt response, the likes has started already in Africa.
2932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prince Filip of Serbia encourages the inclusion of Bitcoin education in schools. on: September 03, 2022, 03:13:15 PM
It's no news of the widespread reach of Bitcoin and how the knowledge of it is slowly creeping into the nooks and crannies of the world. Leaders around the world are calling for the inclusion of Bitcoin study into the curricula of students and the ruler of Serbia is no different.

This is going to make a good difference in the lives of the young ones as they are going, the present generation look into building the future leaders of tomorrow from our children's active engagement in cryptocurrency and bitcoin to be precise, there are subjects that requires the expanding knowledge in financial economy and when taught well in school, it will help picture the real benefit and areas of application for it use as bitcoin remains a solution to the financial economy and a solution to global fiat currency challenges everywhere.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: September 03, 2022, 03:06:42 PM
I have a neighbor who is a boy with a girl, they are both a couple and they ask me how the forum is going, lol, I tell them everything because I am an immigrant, in fact recently I had some problems in my local section, and They know all that, they wanted to enter the forum, but they tell me that it scares them because they think that since they don't know much they will treat them badly, but I already helped them get their accounts from Binance and they have already bought their first satoshis, and they see a lot about cointelegraph and the guy wants to trade, he says that makes a lot of money lol.

That's good of you, you have contributed on one way towards the general adoption of bitcoin in your own capacity, trading is always a good thing to do in bitcoin, but I will advise he gather experience in learning about the trading and it's types and strategies befoee he started, he also need to create time in making research, paying attention the learning and instructions especially here on the forum since you've introduce him here and i think bitcoin discussion and wall observer in economics will be a good learning ground for him, then you should never forget to let him know the difference between CEX and Dex in other to remain safe.
2934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC ever become truly scalable, decentralized and secure? Trifecta problem. on: September 01, 2022, 08:59:05 PM
To me it seems like there have been talks about BTC becoming scalable for many years now. BTC is decentralized and secure no doubt, but if we don't solve scalability, how can this ever work out? And if BTC doesn't solve the trifecta, perhaps an altcoin will; before bitcoin does.

An advise anyways, dont complicate things together, comparing bitcoin with altcoins in scalability and chances of overtaken bitcoin isn't a good idea welcome on bitcoin board here, bitcoin has nothing to do with having challenges with scalability, the only aspect you expect scalability to function well is on centralized system which that's all where alts belong, there will always be restriction and bitcoin has come to provide a solution to that, if you adopt the use of bitcoin then you stand the chance to enjoy it's benefit, part of which is the scalability challenges with centralized authorities.
2935  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forum now attracting people trying to impress for reward? on: September 01, 2022, 08:47:22 PM
It quite easy to spot threads from those who don't seem passionate about things they post.

that's why every shitty posters can't grow on the forum because the merit system is a restriction on them, some are just trolling and meant not to stay, but in doing this they don't care about the forum's rules or the posting requirements to the expected standard

You kind of feel they are trying to impress others for rewards or attract attention to themselves.

to say the fact we may all have fell into such shoes even without our awareness, or sometimes things may change along the way from the initial proported plan, here's what i mean here, some join the forum without having intention for campaign or merit but along the way they discover a need for that.

wonder if they will continue to post if viewers, merits, or paid campaigns disappear completely?

some may while some may actually not because if we are to take a look into the current status now, we still have some users not in campaign neither fo they care about the merit and have been active on the forum, maybe they post less with quality.

2936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: September 01, 2022, 08:27:23 AM
however, I have a lot of doubts about whether it is really practical to plan our lives forward as if bitcoin is going to cause the elimination of government any time soon (if ever)

Am sure this is also one of the fear stirring the minds of those in government, they think bitcoin in a long term if successful could render their power and influence less effective of which is true, but despite this fact i don't think it will be an eliminator to government for live, why because bitcoin only controls the major financial aspect of individuals away from the negative influence of banks and government as centralized body against user's privacy, but a decentralized digital currency like bitcoin wouldn't cover up some other roles in which the government serve such as community planning, conflict resolution, health care services, law enforcement, weather forecast, natural epidemics and control, population control and many other physical obligations in which are the areas where the government has been in control of with the engagement of service to humanity, what bitcoin has majorly targeted is in giving a lasting solution in the area of our finances from centralized bodies and i think that is achieved already.

and even if various governments were to take hostile stances towards bitcoin and to push bitcoin underground, I have my doubts regarding separate systems existing in some kind of meaningful way.

thank you for your response here, but what i meant here is that government cannot bend to comply with a decentralized network like bitcoin in the sense that even if majority were to adopt bitcoin they still feels insecure since it's not within their system of control, that's why you discover a country like Central African Republic introducing Sango coin aside bitcoin as project which they can have dominion over it affairs still under the coverage of bitcoin adoption which is totally wrong, it's not that governments all over the world can't adopt bitcoin as a legal tender, their fear is the decentralization which they have nothing to manipulate about because Satoshi has already made a done deal for us in that with the protocols of blockchain technology.
2937  Other / Meta / Re: Hello Forum Admn. Can you create a New Board : "Bitcoin Business & Networking" on: August 31, 2022, 10:20:18 PM
Hello Forum Admin.

Can you create a new Board called " Bitcoin Business and Networking".

What is the board economics doing where you could find other child boards where relevant tooics in this aspect could fit in, i don't think there's a need for that since the forum is blessed with enough board that covers every aspect you could thought of including your locale, i will just advise you to sit down and search through the boards one after the other and discover where such could fit in for discussion, except you have another motive behind this to be done that is not projected to us but which could have be against the forum acceptability and conduct.
2938  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to it. on: August 31, 2022, 10:10:53 PM
Simple question where do I start with Bitcoins?

Simple answer start with learning, get yourself aquintated to various bitcoin learning materials, learn from the forum here and read threads, make use of the forum search buttom and make your search through on the bitcoin discussion most, conduct personal research online, create time for yourself to learn and build up, ask questions where necessary but make it constructive, be determined to kearn and grow and have enough patience, i think with these you should have a good start for a beginning.
2939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: August 31, 2022, 09:40:00 PM
Bitcoin if connected directly to the government will experience discretion, is this possible?

No and that's the truth about it all, no way a decentralized network can work inline with government and get controlled by them and still remain decentralized, which implies all the protocols about bitcoin and blockchain are going to be rendered less effective.

because they never take bitcoin seriously, all they think about is how to benefit from bitcoin adoption

if they had thought about benefiting from bitcoin they would have adopted it long time ago, the tax you see they collected is like to instill labour on bitcoin entities but still yet it does not stop the progress and way forward over adoption, are there not much companies out there that does not pay tax regularly and are still running fine.

The government should open up the widest possible space for bitcoin growth

they can but you know what? they won't, let's be real hear when ee don't like something we try all possible means to always go against it, especially if not in our disposition, same is the case of bitcoin vs government.

thus bitcoin management will run on the desired path, the more people who take part, the greater the opportunity for state tax revenues to increase.

all these does not work with a decentralized digital currency like bitcoin which has it own protocols that works against the standard of government, their lines can not meet at any point.
2940  Other / Meta / Re: Additional security measures to keep account secure on: August 30, 2022, 07:15:41 PM
There should be option for high rank members to activate email verification. From time to time, when the member logs in using the username and password, it should send an code to the email to be entered on bitcointalk for login

Why do you think that should be included now, don't you think since the requirement for verifying email address used was not needed right from point of registration, getting that into consideration now wouldn't create something new but rather deviate from the initial reasons why it was not needed from the first time, and be it newbie or legendary, a user is a user and preference must not be considered over each other, the more the privacy needed for individuals here which the forum created and respect the fact that it needed to be maintained.

Same way, other security features can also be implemented

No need for further process to this than the ones in place, just ensure that your email is truly accessible by you in case of when there's compromise because that's your last hole to retain your account by then, forum cannot be responsible for any irresponsible negligence on user's account.
