....
Still doesn't change the fact that ESET and Bitdefender declared the alert a false flag!
|
|
|
The wallet is not infected, nothing is indangered. The alerts are false flags. ESET and BitDefender have not found anything malicious in the wallet. It's safe to use Feel free to downlod the github version if you still feel insecure though.

I believe these attacks are exaggerated Obviously no one has been hacked ESET team and Bitfender team have replied that the results were indeed false falgs Why did some users intentionally post an older scan rather then the new one they would get scanning now (relatively new, a week old, still needs updates) I fail to understand Also I currently have a lot of messeges, note that I have an exam in a couple of hours so I'll reply to my messeges in the evening

ESET found no virus
I believe it's a false positive, anyways, a few days back I'v sent a false positive to Avira, we'll see if their reply will be the same I submitted a False Positive report to ESET (NOD32, ESET Smarty Security, etc...) They replied to me today and confirmed that it is a false positive. They have already updated their virus signatures. TorCoin no longer shows up as a Trojan in ESET. I verified this by running another scan of the file directly. I just loaded up TorCoin and generated my first wallet address. TDk2oNSXEzmP3voog2y6HtmcDiEZD9aLLm I got different results a few days back, so I tested it today again And got https://www.virustotal.com/hr/url/77382200f7242795e2b801d87d780a05e363742cf06ba2bc5827af1af148c8f2/analysis/4/65Why are you sending the older link? The newer one has some virus signature updates and therfore registered false positives However this one is a week old too as you can see Bitdefender hasn't yet been updated!

Can you provide a projected timeline for when the PC/Mac versions will be available? Are we weeks away? Months?
Additionally, you may want to update the website and top post to inform anyone viewing the coin that "stealth" modes for PC/Mac are in the pipeline. It's better to stay transparent than anything.
I agree, transparency is the key

How is this possible? These are the only transactions that appear in my wallet As the wallet stands I'm short for 0.016 which weren't sent anywhere o.o

It's really hard to make an arbitrage on sports betting , simply because most of the bookies take their odds from the same source, and even if you were able to find a bookie who takes their odds from different website, it would be pretty hard to make an arbitrage since most of them are charging huge house edge which will kill your profits.
I think that if you are looking to have any profit made from arbitrage u should try to do that with bitcoin markets which are much easier to track and to arbitrage.
Using the different markets is often not as easy as it sounds. Transfering bitcoins and USD across platforms can be expensive and slow, making the arbitrage that much more difficult. There have been examples of great arbitrage options for sports betting. It should be possible to that with bitcoin as well. The solution is very simple Get a bitcoin USD card and bet using that CC

I'm really happy to see rpietila has come back to pay out the withdrawals. If he does pay out, he will win my eternal support He has? Or are you equating his post about terms trying to weasel out of paying debts if creditors don't make a post in his SELF-MODERATED thread which he could easily delete if he so chooses? Seems like he really didn't
