2921  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: November 02, 2018, 07:38:59 PM
For everyday use, like in stores or similar, it's still necessary to exchange Bitcoin into fiat because not so many merchants and places are accepting Bitcoin.
But I avoid to exchange Bitcoin on exchanges or to sell it for fiat, I prefere to use Bitcoin debit card. That is much easier and convenient and you lose less on exchange rate. Also cards are accepted everywhere so I don't have to worry whether I will be able to pay directly with Bitcoin or not.
I think that in majority of countries users still need to exchange Bitcoin for fiat to be able to use it.
2922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2018, 05:14:57 PM
I beleive Bitcoin was made for everyone to use it equaly, not just for rich people. And not only the rich are making the profit out of it. Of course if you invest more you have better chances for biger profit but you could also lose more.
On the other hand you can start making money with Bitcoin with small investment that you can afford.
Bitcoin gives choice and opportunities to everyone and that is one of the most valuable feature of Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency.
2923  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are currently fluctuating very low! This is a strange thing. on: November 02, 2018, 12:51:41 PM
I wouldn't call that strange, maybe just little bit unsual.
Bitcoin had periods of low volatility before so it's not something that is seen for the first time.
For a longer period of time many Bitcoin users and investors are on hold, let's say so, and market stays rather still that is why price fluctuation isn't so big.
Maybe the end of this year and the begininig of the next could bring us some movement and excitement on the market.
2924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: November 02, 2018, 08:52:17 AM
For a while in my country banks had really big freedom to do almost everything they want in the way they want. From constant increasing of interest rates on loans and credit cards, abuse of personal data and similar. Many people had issues with that, including me and wanted to stop that.
Bitcoin looked like one of solutions for such issues but we couldn't entirely escape from banks because we still depend on fiat money and their services.
Also, some banks that have noticed transactions related to Bitcoin started to make problems to such clients, monitor their accounts and similar.
However, situation is changing for the better, banks don't have such freedom anymore and in the future I hope that such problems will be completely escaped.
2925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: November 01, 2018, 06:01:35 PM
You are not the only one who thought that gambling and trading are almost the same and that the equal rules could be applied.
But for trading you need to have some knowledge and expertise to be successful and get some profit. In gambling you depend on luck in majority of cases so it's totaly different approach.
And if you are a good gambler that doesn't mean you will be a good trader and vice versa.
2926  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high do you think or hope bitcoin price to go up next year? on: November 01, 2018, 01:15:12 PM
This year gave us all a lesson and I think many investors have learned not to have too big expectations when Bitcoin price is involved.
For a longer period of time Bitcoin price is staying in the more or less same range without bigger fluctuations and the end of year is close so there is no much time left for some significant changes.
To my opinion such trend will continue in the begininig of the next year also. Still I hope during the next year Bitcoin might touch 10000$ again.
2927  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: November 01, 2018, 11:52:47 AM
If you look back in the past you will see that Bitcoin was made in the period of world economic crisis as a kind of alternative.
The new economic crash will happen, that is inevitable and it happens from time to time in sort of cycles. But this will not influence Bitcoin because it's not incorporated in fornal economic system. In fact, if such crysis happens people will turn to Bitcoin as an alternative that could help them to get out of crisis.
2928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: - 200 % from January on: October 31, 2018, 08:47:15 PM
In the time when you have bought your Bitcoins everyone was thinking the price will go high beyond all limits and they were buying Bitcoin no matter the price.
Of course, that was mistake because such huge price was actually short term peak of Bitcoin that didn't last. But again, at that time no one or very few were thinking that way.
It's good that you haven't sold your coins because you still have the chance to recover the loss, at least partialy.
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: October 31, 2018, 04:12:18 PM
Everyone has the responsibility to himself and to performe some due dilligence is a must before any investment. There are so many new coins and ICOs appearing all the time and for each there is a promise for great profit.
But in real life there are lot of scams and many people lose their money because they didn't informed themselves properly and check where do they put their money.
2930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe, Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1500 This Year? on: October 31, 2018, 01:37:26 PM
I don't think this is possible. And I don't know why exactly amount of 1500$ is in question.
For a longer time now Bitcoin is staying in the range of about 6k and 7k and by the end of the year I don't expect some biger changes in price to happen, not in positive or in negative way, especialy not for such significant amount.
And if some price fall happens I seriously doubt that will be under 5000$.
2931  Economy / Economics / Re: Price stability on: October 31, 2018, 10:21:40 AM
The price just looks like it's stable, although some volatility   is always present when we talk about Bitcoin price.
Many people are holding their coins waiting for the price to recover or because they bought Bitcoin for much biger price and that also influence the market. Also, new investors seemed to be a litte sustained.
Still I'm not worried because situation with price will change and we all know that changes happen in cycles. So at the moment it isn't maybe the best one but it will not last forever. When investing, patience is very important.
2932  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: October 30, 2018, 08:53:10 PM
In majority of countries tax is not payed on Bitcoin itself but only on transactions. And I think this is fair and don't have anything against such policy. This is also something that belongs to regulation.
But it's always very interesting to see how people are not willing to pay taxes but they want to use all benefits and protection from their governments.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: October 30, 2018, 07:41:33 PM
I beleive investing in cryptocurrencies, especialy Bitcoin, is always good decision. Don't let be discouraged with the current Bitcoin price and situation on the market. Long term investments are always the most profitable, you just have to develope your own strategy and have a clear and achievable goal.
To conclude, yes, investment is risky and you have to be aware how much you can lose but if you play smart at the end there is pay of.
2934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear time is near to end on: October 30, 2018, 12:25:32 PM
I would like to know what is the basis for such predictions that bear market will end soon. When you dig a little bit deeper it turns out this is actualy only hope and wishful thinking. I haven't seen any analysis or other information that would point the bear time is going to end and the bull run is going to start.
Unless I see any kind of proof for that I don't expect to see any changes.
2935  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: October 30, 2018, 08:35:02 AM
Well, bad news can initiate some implusive reactions of users and investors and usualy in negative direction and in some extent they could also influence the price.
Still these are usualy instant reactions with short term effect but on the long term basis bad news can't distable the market, they are not so powerful afterall.
2936  Economy / Speculation / Re: The collective forecast of the price of Bitcoin on January 1, 2019 on: October 29, 2018, 09:04:15 PM
I said 7000-8000. I think it'll hang around the bottom into early next year before the market finally decides to start a new bull market. I think it'll mostly be in the 6000s until then but could see it being in the 7000s for a few weeks after BAKKT in mid-december.

I agree with such prediction ans don't expect some biger price growth. 10000$ would be nice to see but as the market looks now this is only desire.
Maybe later in the year some more significant changes will occur but so far I don't have big expectations. The end of last year will not repeat and I think that the bigest optimists are now very well aware of this.
2937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 29, 2018, 07:15:18 PM
For some reason people think that virtual world is more secure than real world, including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Of course, that is not true and often leads people to be scamed or victim of any other fraud or offence.
First thing you have to do before any investment is to preforme due dilligence. Check every single information and data you can and if any single piece looks suspicious at any level, don't go for it. Better safe than sorry. But I guess with experience you can already recognize when something looks too good to be true.
2938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit is scam or Ponzi! on: October 29, 2018, 12:41:22 PM
Well, investbox is a new feature of yobit exchange and I think this feature is imitated of poloniex.
I have a bad experience using this exchange before like stuck coins or lock withdrawal and there are many altcoins that actually made only for pump and dump.
Since Yobit is an exchange site I think we can call it a scammed exchange, not a ponzi because ponzi is like a pyramid scheme.

I thought that the story about Yobit was finished long time ago. There were many scam accusations against them and many of them were actually confirmed so I wonder that there are still people who use Yobit as exchange.
For so many reasons they look like shady company and there are so many other exchanges and investment platforms so everyone has a choice.
2939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market still stagnant! on: October 29, 2018, 09:06:56 AM
the market is still stagnant at low prices, the last few days the price of bitcoin has not moved. I am worried because usually if the market is stagnant there will be a surprise that prices will drop suddenly.

And what is actually new? Market and price are looking more or less the same way for a longer time now. But I don't know how is that sign that price will drop suddenly.
Anyway, I think that many are having too much expectations from the end of the year, wishing for price to jump sky high but I don't think this is going to happen, not this year anyway.
2940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there's another way to pay in the future? on: October 28, 2018, 06:52:38 PM
In the last few years we have witnessed fast development of new and progressive payment methods and cryptocurrencies are just one of that. Everything is showing that we are heading towards kind of cashless society where people don't want to carry paper money with them. Also plastic cards are not so popular anymore and more and more we are paying with our mobile phones, virtual cards and similar systems.
I think future will bring new even more sophisticated payment methods and cryptocurrencies will have to adjust too.
To my opinion future of payment is kind of scary.
