2921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 05, 2021, 12:24:25 AM
Here is the final presser:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri-vTx68dYU

No fanfare, just simply presser with both fighters answering questions from boxing reporters.

Like the question on Caleb Plant's side, "What advantages does Plant have against Canelo?"

They answered not a strategy nor Caleb traits but instead, they said they are fully prepared and ready. In the first place, there are no specific advantages to telling the whole as it's better to let the talking and actions do on the actual date of the fight.

I like the positivity although still can't see how Caleb will deal or snatch an upset win against Canelo.
2922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: November 04, 2021, 11:59:24 PM
What do you think about Saturday and Sunday trading Huh
Considering it with week days which do you see as profitable or they are just the same thing to you.
I like for us to share how we feel about these two trading times, if you make more profit more or loss more on any of week days or weekend trading.
As we know trading is just about how to make profit.

Weekend trading actions are a reference for some traders.

But I noticed that it shouldn't mostly apply to our crypto-trading activities. It was only effective as a reference at fiat or stock trading. That's how volatile crypto is wherein regardless if it's weekdays or weekends, something surprising will happen.

Regardless of when will you trade, just do your usual drill.
2923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 04, 2021, 11:55:12 PM
I'm sure if the Cojuangco is the one who managing the Gilas or our PH team, Brownlee is already a naturalized.

It won't take long to argue about that matter. Brownlee is very flexible. He knows how to adjust and the level and caliber that he can provide to our nationals is competitive enough compared to those who we have now.

It's just a matter of politics inside this sport, just a rumor though:Smiley but if we assess this guy is more likely fits and will probably help our National Team!

Cojuangco doesn't have any power to make Brownlee a naturalized player. And that's beyond the control of any person who managed Gilas or the national team.

It was done in a legislative process in the Senate. And even there are lots of bills already passed for a request to make a foreign player naturalized, as soon as the Senate doesn't pick it up, then it will be pending until noticed.

It's not just the performance but there are also other factors before a foreign player will be naturalized. Remember that it's almost the same as being a Filipino.

But you are right on the way that, maybe if a big fish is handling the Gilas, they can pressure the top executives to make the process faster.
2924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 04, 2021, 11:50:11 PM
We have had several hyped coins and token lately and many have been a victim of hyped projects that ended up crashing in not long after attaining a very little profit margin. Been extremely careful with how we go about our analysis will help save a lot. Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.

As always, be cautious about any hyped coins and tokens.

But honestly, people don't have to completely stay away at those, unless especially the coin is a total sh*t. If played right, we can also join the party there and take advantage of the possible profit we can take there. The fact that it's hype means most traders are there so just take advantage of it.

If by any means that a person isn't used to taking that risk, better just refrain from joining from the hype and just do it once they are now ready.
2925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 04, 2021, 11:40:36 PM

Sports betting is my main forte', especially in basketball. Casino games next - slots, roulettes. Outside crypto, I'm also an enthusiast of gambling PvP whether it's sports, E-Sports, card games, etc. I'm gambling for over a decade now. Lots of losses, winnings but what matters here is satisfaction and entertainment.

Looking forward to winning more.
2926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment poll on: November 04, 2021, 11:31:05 PM
Dear Members, I am planning to invest $1000 to buy few risky coins with a good possibility to grow. From your perspective, which of the above coins have better potential to grow. Would you split $200 between each of the coins or rather buy 1-2 projects? You may vote for few projects. Thanks

None of those in the poll. If you really want to take risks then consider those coins that are showing a good volume on a daily basis on the market. For example, in Binance, you can check what coins are performing well today.

At least you won't be ended up on those coins you put on the poll on which I don't understand where did you that list.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 03, 2021, 11:16:11 PM
It's time for the PBA to slowly recover from losses during the bubble, with the audience allowed, they can increase their revenue and would be a big help for the next seasons to come. I miss seeing the imports and the fans as well, so hopefully, everything will be realized and restrictions in Manila will not be back to MECQ.

PBA really likes to have a live audience but the IATF isn't recommending it for now. With the ease of restrictions especially in Manila, I hope they will allow PBA to slowly get back to its normal environment playing in their usual event with a live audience. There's no way the whole Manila will back again at those much restrictions but only on the specific place (granular lockdown).

Regarding imports, I'm sure they will allow (as they even have the list of it) next conference as long as they are fully cleared of any signs of the virus. Just imagine other countries are now accepting foreign players like our own PH players to other countries so I think PH should do the same since after all, it's only a few imports that will play here and tests can be done easily.

So when are we going to see the next conference, I'm excited to see a new one.

There are rumors that it will be by mid-November, is it already confirmed now?

Does anyone here have some information regarding the start of the new conference and its setup?

Even without a rumor, it should be this month.

The restart of PBA every year always starts at All-Filipino Cup Conference. IThe next conference should be this month or before the year ends.
2928  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: November 03, 2021, 11:08:15 PM

Not getting too much technical or deep about the explanation of what financial stable is, but in general, as long as we are capable to spend on basic and necessary things, while can also afford to spend on those unnecessary or emergency ones, without worrying about the whole money in circulation, that's what I called financial stability. Obviously, for that to happen, people should have a stable and fixed source of income.

With the pandemic happening, we now somehow realize what kind of business and investments are worth to risk some money as we saw those surviving assets and businesses that still dominate despite the pandemic. People can consider putting money on those as part of their goal to have financial stability.
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Surviving For Tomorrow on: November 03, 2021, 11:03:48 PM
I lock-in my first round of profits on SHIB at a 10x couple days ago. Stylishly i've learned how important and secured it is to have one's portfolio diversified into many quality coins since coming aboard.

Even when most altcoins are crashing, a few of the quality ones can give huge gains. I'm compounding my gains by rolling profits into unpumped coins at a cheaper rate. I don't care how many percentage will be added by year end, I just want to live for tomorrow first as many opportunities are under way.

Disregarding the status of SHIBA INU based on my view, it's good that you are doing such things to somehow secure profits even there's an anticipation that there might be another round of price increase that will happen in the future as a speculation. While doing that, you are gaining experience and that will help you to decide properly in the future.

Just continue with your strategy and see the result for yourself. Eventually, you can now automatically create a strategy based on a given situation.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 03, 2021, 10:57:00 PM
That was the fight between him and Roy Jones Jr. but this time probably it's different.

Mike Tyson cannot just fight and give everything to the charity, his net worth according to the article below is only $10 million. https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-athletes/richest-boxers/mike-tyson-net-worth/

I'm not sure how much he will make in this fight, but I expect it to be higher than what he made in his first fight, so more income for him, that would be more opportunity to help the charity, but it's his personal agenda do, as a fan we just like to see an entertaining fight.
Having agenda or doesnt have but its great to see that they are considering on donating into charities and giving out a portion or part of their winnings which not all boxers would really able to do so.Its just normal that they would really be securing out some part of those winnings for themselves and its just dumb that he would give it all 100%? Very impossible thing if you do ask me.They wouldnt really risk out their health for nothing.
So its just normal that they would be securing for their own.

It's not that Tyson is the only one responsible for that charity donation, it's the whole people involved in that 1st fight that make it happen.

And don't get deceived by that as the first is different from what will happen next, against Logan Paul. RJJ decides to come back from retirement because it was a charity event. It's different from the upcoming Logan Paul that will fight in an exhibition match to earn money himself. That fight is just a pure entertainment match without any charitable event as far as the given information was concerned.
2931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gearing up for alt season on: November 03, 2021, 10:55:24 PM
Altcoin season is coming, the type we got in 2017 4th quarter to 2018 1st quarter so kindly chill me your holdings, what do you think will be the next 10x coins to hold right now? Low market cap or mid market cap coins?

There's no altcoin season. Not because most coins or tokens increase their price, there's a thing called altcoin season.

It's hard to speculate what coins will have its 10x price increase. My suggestion is, try to do some 24H monitoring at those top performer coins on that day. From there, choose a few and risk some money. Binance, Kucoin, etc, you can refer to top exchanges to check the daily volume. That's what I'm doing.

My candidate was those coins or tokens that has a 5-10% increase on that day. Give it another day to check their volume then that's it.
2932  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 03, 2021, 10:41:28 PM
It's been almost 2 weeks since Bitcoin made a new ATH from $65K to $67K. Price is currently (as or writing) around 5% down at $63.5K. But when will we see another new ATH in Bitcoin?

Do any of you still think this is a double top that won't be broken ? How many of you are waiting patiently for 6 figures ?

Asking when is the next after just a next can't really determine even we will seek the opinion of the so-called professional. I'm not actually waiting patiently for that 6 figures as to why should we do that in the first place. We just need to just ride every trend and not expect much. If it happened then good, if not then no worries.

To answer the poll, I will vote for the next 2 years which is not on the poll, with no analysis nor instincts involved. It's been always the same scenario wherein during the strong momentum, no one expects that there's a thing that can spoil it.
2933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange, is it safe and good to trade here? on: November 03, 2021, 10:17:52 PM
But are the tokens on this exchange trustworthy? I don't wanna trade on SCAM exchanges.

Any experience with Hotbit, anyone?

As per my own experience is concerned, I have never got a problem trading at Hotbit. I used that exchange during the time I'm having difficulty doing some research if the platform is trustworthy.

Since I have no choice but to use them since 2 of my tokens are only listed there with a good volume, I test the water at that exchange and that's it. Deposit and withdrawals are smooth and I used the exchange for months since then. It's been a long time now since I last used the exchange so I can't comment about its current status to the community.
2934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that are very down now that may pump? on: November 03, 2021, 10:12:48 PM
I'm wondering what coins that are very down now that may pump sooner or later.

On my radar is Reddcoin, PIVX and Neblio.  They are all on many good exchanges and are good staking coins.   Good staking coins often have a way of holding value as they earn you coins while you hold them in a software wallet, which are very easy to backup.

Trust your radar since it won't be formed in the first place if you are just doing some random analysis based on your own instincts. I can't really comment on some cheap coins now that might have the chance to pump soon as we have different factors and ways of approach at those.

And since you are a fan of staking, why not consider those coins at the Binance staking program? Although it's third-party and has some risks as you won't hold your own coins, it's not likely that exchange will become a scam right away.
2935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In which ICO to invest ? on: November 03, 2021, 10:08:59 PM
we hear less about ICOs than a few years ago. I Know that several website exist where we can find information about the next ICO, but who is going to invest in some of them in the following weeks ? Which one and why ?

I won't mention any projects but you can refer to those websites you are referring to. To give you advice, the majority of projects are having a good roadmap and development. However, the question is the proper execution.

If you find some worthy ones based on your own factors and preference, try to be involved in their community discussion group first and see how their representatives address some concerns and not just pure speculative topics. That's what I always do before considering putting some risks on that project. From there, make a conclusion.
2936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 03, 2021, 10:01:45 PM
I was surprised to see there isn't any discussion happening about this latest ridiculousness from Jake Paul.  It seems there always has to be a gimmick involved when he's fighting.

What can you expect from "Jake Paul"? You already mentioned the reason why there isn't any discussion regarding that. On the serious side, as long as Jake Paul will fight as a professional boxer, in a professional match and not an exhibition one, he might catch the interest of anyone in the future.

Both have a clean record but Tommy Fury might have the advantage here. The reason? Although just started in 2018 as a professional boxer, he's already been involved in the boxing world for quite some time, and being a half-brother of the Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, he can get all the help especially preparations.
2937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: November 03, 2021, 09:48:30 PM

2 months now have passed, what's the strategy did you do OP? During the time you asked that concern, no one knows what's the best thing to do. You will only know the result and output until you applied what you think is right. Be it a success or failure, your experience of doing such things as tests or experiments will be your good reference in the future.

As the popular quote says, "practice makes perfect".
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: November 03, 2021, 09:42:12 PM

We should expect already that 100% decentralized crypto won't be achieved. Remember that more people are relying on centralized exchanges just to feel the benefits of buying and selling cryptos. Without these exchanges, liquidity won't grow. Relying only on the decentralized exchange won't bring an uptrend.

And since most people are seeking help from the government in case of fraud, that's the big reason why they should regulate all crypto exchanges.

2939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making profit with a bubble on: November 03, 2021, 09:34:19 PM
We all know that this upward move won't last forever, even if a real spot ETF is gonna be approved (that would cause another big rise, in my opinion), one day we will reach an unsustainable point of extreme overvaluation and a single fundamental event will trigger a huge dump.

I'm not trying to predict the future, I'm just trying to be honest myself considering that this cycle will come to an end (as always did before), but that could represent an opportunity too, for instance, with a short position opened at the right time (I know that I could appear like a complete fool who is trying to imitate Michael Burry in 2008).

What's your idea about that?

It always makes sense to believe that no matter how strong the trend is, there will be a time that its momentum will crash, be it on uptrend (bull trend) or downtrend (bear trend). There's always an event that can trigger the pump or dump and that's always the case.

Any ideas that we think a good strategy is worth testing. After all, we don't know what will be the result without actually using it.

Just don't set too much target price as sometimes it won't happen. In other words, if you think it's the right time to buy, then do it. The same goes for selling.
2940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 01, 2021, 10:38:32 PM
Not enough time if they'll fight in December, I mean how about the advertising of the fight? They will have to train for the fight, and that would likely require them for over a month to be very fit, so there's a little time left as in the next 2 days, it will already be November.

For Donaire, there's enough time for practice and actually, he is practicing the whole year-round. Donaire fights this year and just a few months later, he is supposed to battle with John Riel Casimero so prior to the cancelation of their fight, he is already doing some training for it.

Gaballo on the other hand is surely surprised and might have a few months for practice. I'm sure even with no scheduled fight after his last fight in December 2020, he still does his usual exercise to keep his shape and just began his advanced training when there's a hint that he might fight Donaire.
