2921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 01, 2021, 02:32:37 AM
yes, for those who gamble only for entertainment and pleasure, to be precise only for those who have a lot of money, he will not feel worried if he loses in gambling. of course they are able to take responsibility for the consequences of the risks that will be faced. Most people who make gambling their source of income will easily give up when they experience losses and will not be satisfied if they get a few wins.
That's why gamblers should play with money that they afford to lose, never gamble with borrowed money or hot money what I mean is it will be used on other things or to buy daily stuff. I suppose it's fine if sometimes do gamble on purpose to earn but to fully rely on gambling as of the earning incomes are the wrong mindset.

Situational awareness is a must, because most of the time what we start for fun leads towards disaster. Myself too never had the thought of making big money out of gambling, but the winning made me spend more and more. Finally when I've lost everything I don't have any other way to get it back. This is where we do stupidity. Taking a break and analysing well with alternate plans is the wise choice.

just be responsible in gambling you just can't spend everything on gambling. remember that there are millionaires that actually turned their lives as miserable homeless because they spend it all. some men just don't know when to stop. showing off pays.

after losing it all, you'll gonna have to look back and say what if and then feel the weight on the shoulder when the people who use to be on your side now are gone because you don't have money as well.

2922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My crypto portfolio, please give me some feedback on: April 30, 2021, 11:49:36 PM
jezz you have followed all those tokens?  that's a lot to keep track if you keep trading them if you somehow follow trend to trade with the fundamental news.

well the percentage in your portfolio doesn't count because it's the quantity of the tokens you keep. if you have 0.15% of VET then how much are those if it's about 100K VET tokens then it's a lot of money already assuming you bought them at a price below $0.10.
2923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments destroy stablecoins in the long term? on: April 30, 2021, 11:20:56 PM

the US government will favour the use of stablecoin because it will still put USD as the reserve currency despite the crashing economy.
It's yet not clear how they could take advantage of the market but if one day the government-backed stablecoin will be one of the stablecoins used in crypto, it's going to be clear that they like it being part of the crypto ecosystem. the government can easily get tax from it.
2924  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Adds PayPal As Payment Option For U.S. Users on: April 30, 2021, 12:47:01 PM
Have Binance already done this or are they just going to do it?

not sure. credit and debit cards are already given but not paypal. they only allow it p2p.

well now that coinbase started it binance might also add it so paypal users will have the chance to  withdraw their btc to their btc wallets. its what is needed for paypal users. i agree that this is targetting the retail investors, small investors.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sovryn - price prediction when public sale will be open on: April 30, 2021, 09:39:55 AM

its dropping to $40 https://coins.green/ shows its marketcap $ 95,344,128.16, they should also be adding the 24 hour volume. marketcap is really big for a project that's new. the price however is dipping, could this be because there is a signature running?

i bought few, thought it's gonna go up way further than 10K satoshis. someone should make CMC update its data.

It's not even caused by signature, the first-week payment is not even happening and how can you say like that? pump and dump was a common thing in the crypto. Once there will be big news to come soon and it will increase again.
This is a hidden gem. CZ was even following Yago's Twitter since a few months ago. It looks like CZ is still monitoring this project.

that's just one assumption though. interesting to know CZ is also following Yago. i first found out about the project when they did a campaign and then they mentioned Pomp on their website which he lends a number of BTC. very trustworthy people following the project.

it looks like the fluctuation is giving a good opportunity that within a week it skips right to $52 from $40. i only have less than 50SOV should it be worth staking or just keep trading it?

2926  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6 reasons why you should buy Bitcoin right now (at USD 50K-53K) on: April 30, 2021, 08:27:00 AM

most of all. the profit to make which OP didn't add as one of the reasons. the bullrun isn't over just as we had expected and since it had already crossed several times to $60k i guess it will once again try that resistance which i guess many of us will still be selling by the time it crossed that price again. the money to make still is a good profit while you stack BTC.

2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 30, 2021, 08:21:37 AM
Latest odds for those who are curious:

Again, odd makers are putting Haney as outstanding favorite here, not good for ML.

Better wait for other betting options, not worth for Haney, unless you have a big money to gamble as that odds. But for ordinary gamblers like many of us here, not very attractive.

A Linares odds though, if he can only upset Haney here.
No doubt about that ML, I will not bet on that, better to throw some money on Linares, at least he beats Haney, it will be a big win for us.

Or as you just said, better wait for options, I'm sure bookies are going to open more choices for us. I'm curious as what could be the odds of Haney winning by decision.

there's gotta be a knockout in this match. they lightweight but they are heavy hitters. the knockout rates is astonishing. haney winning by knockout or linares which i guess a big win for you.

the odds however is disappointing. if they add some options like which round will linares will fall, that's going to be a big winning odd to bet for haney. I'm guessing in 3rd round?

2928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: April 30, 2021, 08:10:51 AM

he isn't the only that lose over time the seasoned traders sometimes also lose his position overnight but not entirely his funds its just the way it is sometimes you lose sometimes you win.

now when it comes to being an advocate against crypto trading, the crypto trading doesn't end. lets say he is the most popular influencer on the internet, can he stop people from trading?  ofc not. all he needs is to get back his feet and try winning back his loss.
2929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eth Berlin Upgrade and Gambling on: April 30, 2021, 06:41:09 AM

Berlin isn't the EP15 upgrade, the fees are still the same. it's still high as it is. i tried swapping just recently, the fee still the same.

Sportsbooks include many currencies for betting on ethereum Berlin upgraded crypto gambling although ethereum's fees are high gamblers bet on other currencies if the amount of transactions in ethereum decreases the amount of fee will decrease. Gambling will not be affected there is a huge demand in the market for other currencies.

one reason why using ETH to gamble still continues is that they still wanted to earn ETH as well. it's still a good token to keep when you have ETH because the price keeps going up. but there is also a reason to use Doge because the transaction fee is very little to be bothered about.
2930  Other / Archival / Re: The difference between the Martingale system and One-Time-Bet on: April 29, 2021, 09:04:55 AM
In fact, many now use the Martingale system instead of doing one stroke of luck, and the strange thing is that it is also liable to lose the same "chance" if it plays one betting with all the amount, and the question here is, why do gamblers prefer this system to a single roll?
Greed plays out most during gambling and the desire to make it big has made so many adopt the martingale system instead. For me a one-time bet is good enough since both plays out the same outcome if it's a loss both experience the same outcome. It's even worst for martingale because it's vulnerable to loosing all your funds at once.

not really gurl. martingale will make you decide to continue or not while you are in the middle. it's not like you can lose it all in just a second. the moment you realize the amount is too big already to continue there is a chance for you to change your mind and then stop.

you start with $1 and then somewhere along you experience losing 10x straight already you might think $1024 seems too big to bet already. i'd have to stop and buy an altcoin instead  Cheesy
2931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: April 29, 2021, 08:04:16 AM

is hard to do when you have less capital. what you need is time and money because its needs a lot of waiting and it could take years if you want the biggest gain. the early investors did it easy, all they did was just waiting and after a few years they already have tons of money.

but if you do it as the day trader does, it's going to be harder. some even have to spread fud just to make the price drop so they could buy again when the price is dragged down.
2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: April 29, 2021, 07:42:14 AM

i was actually looking at SNL https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sport-and-leisure/markets/ which is related to Elon's tweet when he claimed to be Dogefather and SNL ticker below it. something related to sports like CHZ token that also grow faster. it didn't wait for me to earn some amount to buy a ticket for that train. the first time i check it the price of the token was less than $0.05.

don't go looking for the next doge, there might not any unless a big personality like Elon will tweet and shill for it.
2933  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you loose your funds don't loose the fun on: April 29, 2021, 07:35:46 AM

there is no fun in losing all your money in gambling but yes a little entertainment can change that. its always good to have hope in mind despite everything that goes wrong. you have something to believe in to continue life. just like those who are in prison and then still writing something on the wall to remember the good days or clip a picture from the past where good times are still felt. its just money, you can earn it again.
2934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: April 29, 2021, 06:57:30 AM
For me, no amount of bitcoin is enough to secure future. Though as what's happening now that somehow make bitcoin stable in long run, we can't still deny that there is still a chance for bitcoin to fall. Lucky, if after bitcoin crash a huge percentage the person who buy bitcoin as retirement fund can wait until bitcoin recover and raise again but what if not? Bitcoin is a great investment but just like most investment crypto or not the profitability pecentage is not always 100%.
no Amount of Bitcoin ? or you just cannot achieve that amount for your future that's why this is why you acted like this. because how come that you cannot compute how much you need for your future ?
I can easily say that 20 bitcoin for this 55,000$ value is more than enough to make my future and my family brighter because i will not use this just for holding instead i will find businesses to established our life more than just keeping holding in this volatile market.
that's how it works and that is how OP asking us and not just your deepest regret in life.

you can say that for now but when the prices of the daily needs go up as well you wouldn't be able to buy a decent house with 1BTC next year. everything is going to be inflating in the next few years so that 20BTC might not really be enough.

and you don't know yet what will happen in the future. 20BTC is valuable of course but you can easily spend it all in a day actually. a kidney stone surgery or something similar is something to deal when you get old.

2935  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden's IRS Plans Could Boost Crypto Adoption on: April 29, 2021, 05:14:56 AM

there is no use in adopting cryptocurrency because IRS could all see the data when you cash your crypto to your bank when trading it for USD. IRS is the worse agency in US. they may even look at your crypto transactions in the past and whether you have some stash left.

you don't really have to hide from IRS but its just that it's up to 39% already that they meant to get from you. who wouldn't complain from it so you can't blame Elon to moving his production to Mars  Grin
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: April 28, 2021, 11:42:09 PM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX

I hope others will learn from this
Moozicore! I have a lot of information. First, I want to remind you to follow a telegram group of all new and old. This kind of problem we face in the ERC-20 blockchain tokens. Own blockchain coins never do that. There must be a good lesson either by coin or be active in a telegram group. Another suggestion is very risky, hold your tokens in exchange but exchange must be trusted, even though you must be active on all announcements.

i can understand the team is looking for something that will make transactions easier and cheaper but at least don't set dates to not allow swapping. keep it forever.

its frustrating to be doing some swapping while the team or anyone else doesn't even share the page of how to swap it to BSC or to new contract. the first tokens i have invested in crypto like iconomi (ICN) also did this swapping and then i lost track of the project because the team is just a disappointment. now they don't even want anyone else who to swap the old ICN and i still have thousands of it.

2937  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To keep coin long term on: April 28, 2021, 11:33:23 PM
if you want to keep a coin/token for long term you don't wanna just keep it and let it sleep. you would want it to also earn while you are keeping it or let it grow at the same time. to make it possible you need it to be in the personal wallet where you have the private key and you can access it yourself alone. and also you want cheap coins so that you have the maximum amount of them in your wallet. i personally like to keep ADA and stake on the wallet so that it grows as well. there are some other tokens but some may not agree to be about it such as TRON.
2938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 28, 2021, 01:21:51 PM
Everyone could engage in gambling discussion regardless of gender because gambling is for everyone who is interested in it. As for me, everyone is welcome to share their insights about gambling because there's gender equality in gambling and the crypto world. We should accept the fact that women nowadays could do what men can do.

it would take an extraordinary girl to be able to do that. this mango research girl https://www.youtube.com/c/MangoResearch/about is quite amazing with her predictions and she does trading tutorials too. i don't often see girls like that. and it's kind of a men's dream to be with someone like her. but a gambler woman isn't so much of an attractive actually.

but you're right a woman can do what man does today, there is no boundary to that anymore, they can even propose to a man these days.  Grin

And dear Jamie allows his clients to buy exposure to Bitcoin via a JPMorgan fund.
That is life, we know the story, first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
Welcome to the club, Jamie.

calling bitcoin holder stupid up to firing his employees who trade BTC or own BTC, that's how he hated Bitcoin but now he wants all you guys to invest thru them. anyone can change when it comes to money and he is now changed.

i wouldn't say JP morgan is bad for crypto but yes it's good that they joined the club but what jamie dimon did will haunt him over and over.  Grin

2940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 28, 2021, 06:56:10 AM
It's mostly a personal preference, nothing else. I just prefer having control over my earnings on my own wallet and then proceed to deposit if I ever need to. I'm not implying that providing with the option to pay directly to your casino account is a negative, on the contrary, it's a benefit, but only for those who opt for it.

As for myself, I'd prefer not to, but that's just my preference, it's just easier to be in control of your funds. Nonetheless, I'm only gambling with small amounts, it's not like that I have gambling issues and can't hold myself.
Because sometimes, if the income is sent to their account in the gambling site, it can make them tempting to use for gambling and once they found excitement in the gambling games, they will forget to manage their income instead of playing gambling. The benefit of having the income sent to the wallet is that we can hold it without sending it to the other wallet if we do not need it. And that can prevent us from sending the money to the gambling site if we want to sell bitcoin at a high price.

But no matter if the income is sent to your gambling account or your wallet, you need to manage the funds and not use them for just playing gambling. Your life is not for playing gambling and you have many things that you need to do.

it's all up to each of us. i can control my betting or simply just minimize loss at least just to satisfy myself that i still bet. after all, a small amount can win big if the odds of an MMA fight is really a mismatch.  Grin  $20 could win up to $120, that's really big considering that anything could happen in the UFC cage. a slight mistake makes a different result, it could end a round while the dominant fighter losses via rearnaked choke.
