2921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 19, 2023, 05:06:08 PM
In my opinion, most people like this think that they can get rich quickly by gambling, they can spend all their money on gambling with the belief that they will win even though the reality is reversed, the thirst for victory in them may be high and the greed that has controlled them, which of course will harm them if they are addicted to gambling and are driven by selfishness. Only a few people gamble with the assumption of entertainment, many gamble and are addicted to the principle of winning that will be obtained, they do not think about their own needs prioritizing gambling.

With a sense of resentment when losing and wanting to take revenge in order to win so they continue to gamble without having their own limits. Everyone knows gambling can be profitable if we can limit the game by considering it as entertainment only, but unfortunately this does not happen to everyone who gambles when they win sometimes they are still not satisfied so they increase the value of the bet so they can win bigger. In my opinion, if we have friends who are addicted to gambling, tell them about the losses they have experienced and don't continue gambling with the belief that you can return the money that has been used up because of gambling because then there will be no end to it.
It's okay if they think like that because everyone has their own beliefs about gambling and may still try to get it. Many people want to become rich and that is from gambling. But some people don't want to get wealth from gambling. They think it's better for them to find a job that can earn them money. People who gamble should not think about making a profit from gambling, especially since they know it is difficult to get. They can only use gambling as entertainment and nothing else so that they do not experience gambling addiction.

If they still hold a grudge for losing at gambling and they want to recover their losses, they will not be able to get it and will instead lose more money. And it's best for us to control our gambling so that no negative feelings will come out and make us forget the limits we have set. Maybe this requires continuous learning and practice until we can master it well and we won't experience any problems.
You really nail it when you talked about how complicated the link is between human desire and gambling. Because people are naturally pushed by desire and ambition, they often see gambling as the way to get what they want. Its an easy way out in a world that often seems unfairly stacked. But those of us who are smart know that this golden ticket often comes with chains, dont you think? Chains of addiction, loses that keep piling up, and broken dreams.

The irony lies in the perception. If possible, gambling should only be a fun activity that gives you a short thrill. But the moment it morphs into a recovery mission for losses, it turns toxic. Aggressively toxic. Realists know how important it is to set limits and boundaries, while dreamers want to get rich quickly. What is this wisdom? It's not a sudden realisation. It requires constant self-reflection, constant warnings, and a strong grasp on how people act. The real game is getting good at this. Believe me, it's tougher than any gambling game.
2922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 19, 2023, 04:44:06 PM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?
I did not told them that I am gambling, but they can sometimes see it. I am just not sure if they were aware that it is gambling. There are times though that I think they knew and told me something about gambling. I believe they do trust me that I am old enough and I know how to be responsible with such thing. Anyways, gambling is not a habit of mine, but I do play a lot from time to time.
Many of us still continue to hide our gambling because if our parents found out, they would definitely tell us to stop immediately and some even forced us to stop immediately. This will depend on each gambler because if they don't want to see their parents sad, they will immediately stop and some people don't gamble when their parents are at home. And I agree with you that no matter what, they can find out on their own without us telling them. Meanwhile, we also don't know how they found out when no one knew.
With their expectations and judgements, families can strongly affect behaviour. Children often disguise unhappy or unsatisfactory behaviour. Protecting our loved ones from pain is instinctual, and many would rather see their parents upset than their own desires or habits.

Its intriguing and disconcerting how parents can spot behavioural changes in their children. A deep-seated evolutionary drive to protect their children may explain this perceptiveness. Perhaps after years of seeing and engaging with their kids, they notice even small changes. Even if one thinks they've hidden their acts, tiny behavioural cues can reveal them. A subtle dance of acts, reactions, and concealing and seeking.

Well, I wonder what Al Hilal is going to do right now. They definitely have given a lot of money to Neymar, the salary is absolutely incredible. I wonder if they actually are going to do something about the huge salary that Neymar is going to get even though Neymar is injured and will be out of action for a long time.

They do not have too much problem spending money. But at this point, I think it is going to be actually a waste of money. I bet they did not think about this when preparing the contract for Neymar. They just wanted him in the squad at any cost. And looking at the situation right now, it is definitely going to be very costly for them.

regards

duke
I really think that Al Hilal may have taken on too much when they signed Neymar to a huge €300 million deal for two years. Its almost as crazy as how much stars like Cristiano Ronaldo make! Since Neymar cant play because of his anterior cruciate ligament injury, this investment looks even less likely. Its true that Al Hilal has talented people like Malcom, Mitrović, and Milinković-Savić. They all try, but none of them can match Neymar's magic. It blows my mind! Why would a club spend so much money without thinking about what might happen if someone gets hurt? Now they have to deal with the cost and the lack of players in their team. I have real doubts about their foresight
2924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 19, 2023, 04:00:52 PM
Well I don't trust their performance as well cause they're currently underperforming, well I don't know how bad is Osimhen's situation but if he's fit to play against Union Berlin in the Champions league they could win the game or get a draw since they're away from home but I doubt if they'll be able to get  3 points against Acmilan even though they'll be playing with a home advantage.
The reason is, the problem does not only lie in how Osimhen performs. However, the whole team, especially the coach's tactics. Not only that, so far, Garcia has not been able to optimize his abilities to bring or guide Napoli to become extraordinary again like Spaletti did. Many say that Garcia is still recovering and still needs time. However, how long does it take for agriculture to wait? So there must be good cooperation between the coach and the players so that tactics can really work optimally. In this case, the intensity of the good relationship between the coach and the players also really has to be solid. Because if there is a mismatch and both of them prioritize their respective egos, then no matter what, it will not be successful and optimal.
I think that some of the worries about Napoli's play under Garcia arent completely unfounded. I saw Spalletti passionately lead the team by giving them directions in real time during games, which may have made them feel better about their performance. Garcia, on the other hand, looks like he is deeply focused on his notes and not as interested in talking to people. Im worried about Napoli's chances this season in the Champions League. Still, the question is whether Garcia will step up. Getting used to a club like Napoli isnt easy, especially after someone as important as Spalletti. The bond between a coach and his or her players is very important, but there seems to be a rift between them right now. Success might not be possible if Garcia and the players cant agree on their priorities and goals. How much longer do fans have to wait?

Harry Maguire was definitely never the best defender in the world. Not even for a single moment in his career. He was just simply overhyped. Manchester United got carried away and paid a lot of money to bring him in. Which obviously did not work in favour of them. And now he is just a liability. The coach is coping.
Harry Maguire have no place to play football or handle football position in Old Trafford because he's extensively overhyped. There are core existence of hypes in the football system, unfortunately this is not the lucky end for all these hyping players. We have genuine players that are talented with outstanding performance and we also have those that doesn't belong to the system. Perhapes We are aware of the things happening in the system, the sad incidents that temporarily happen to the hardworking players, everything here is already rigged for their own best interests, any other thing is mismanaged.
Regarding Harry Maguire, I completely understand your point of view. Personally, I think his recent play has been below what you would expect from someone playing for a team like Manchester United. No one is surprised that he's made mistakes, especially last season. Although, I have noticed that he's been a little better in recent games. For instance, he found a way to make an assist in his most recent game. Despite these rare flashes of brilliance, I agree that he has a hard time with Manchester United's tough player competition. Possibly, a club with less tough competition would be better for him. Regardless, I value your point of view and know how frustrating it is when a player doesnt live up to the hype.
2926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 19, 2023, 03:17:26 PM
Nice are favoured to win against Marseille in that game and I think the same as well. Because Marseille aren't in such condition to believe in them. They have lost so many points since the beginning of the season. Marcelino didn't last long and now they have Gattuso as their new manager. They have changed quite many managers recently.

Therefore I think Nice are more credible to bet on considering their form in the recent times as well. I mean Nice beat even PSG away not long ago. If they return strong from the national break as well then they should be able to win this game.
I have been paying close attention to how these two teams work together. Even though Nice has had some great games lately, like their unbelievable win over PSG, I wouldnt necessarily rule out Marseille. Keep in mind that Marseille has a history of being a strong team, even though they've had a rough season. Changing management can make things less consistent, but it can also wake up a team and give them new ideas. Who's to say they wont come together and pull off an unexpected win now that Gattuso is in charge? Based on recent results, betting on Nice might make sense, but football is a very unpredictable game! What if Marseille turns out to be the sweetheart? I hope everything works out for you if you decide to go to Nice! Expect Gattuso and his boys to put on a show.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 19, 2023, 02:55:43 PM
I'm thinking like the main reason why David de Gea couldn't find a team for himself is his high salary expectation. He couldn't reach an agreement with Manchester United because of this reason. I thought that maybe Bayern Munich would be keen on signing him but they didn't want to go for him either. They preferred a young talent named Daniel Peretz instead.

If Bayern Munich didn't spend a lot of money on Kane transfer then maybe they would have made an official offer for de Gea who knows. Because it took them even a long time to reach an agreement for Kane transfer at a price as favourable as possible.

I personally not so sure de Gea is still demanding for a high salary, because if considered from the situation that happened like this then maybe in the transfer market later de Gea is willing to be paid lower . Anyway, basically de Gea age is also no longer able to play for the long term, so it is quite reasonable if big teams like Bayern Munich are not willing to pay expensive de Gea . Also, if de Gea demands to be paid dearly, then the only option is to play in the Saudi Pro League, but in fact de Gea also rejected the offer there.
Its a little strange that Bayern Munich would miss out on someone as good as de Gea. He had a great career at Manchester United, and he left an indelible mark there. Yes, he's old, but getting older can make you smarter, especially if you're a custodian. Thought it was admirable that he was ready to take a lower pay to stay in the EPL. What that says about how much he loves the game and the league is clear. But if the rumours that he's ready to quit if he cant find a big European club are true, its a sad sign of how cruel football can be. Although Bayern should jump at the chance, there may be more going on than we know. Also, imagine De Gea leaving the team without one last cheer! It would be a strange turn of events if that happened.

Lewandowski is expected to return in a week from his injury. But for his full recovery he might need some more time maybe. If he returns on the speculated date then there are going to be only two days remaining for the El Clasico ahead. It is one of the most critical games of the season for Barcelona so they need each one of their best players.
When an elite team like Barcelona depend on just a main attacker, though they have other frontlines but they're mere backup and can't suit in the right positions. Robert Lewandowski might not have been in good form this season but there's a whole lot of things that have made the present Barca top striker, reluctant in Camp Nou. He's in the present of new signings and these players are optimistic about themselves and keen on good results. Lewandowski ensures he returns back to the team before El Clasico emerges, we know how important this game is for the Poland International, he ensured he's present for tougher games.
Problematic is how much Barcelona has been depending on Lewandowski. I read through some of the more recent publications and found Barcelona's comment about his injury. His questionable status for the El Clasico is a serious concern. We are all aware that this game is not just any game, but rather a spectacle and a pivotal moment for the league. The issue is made much more alarming by the absence of important players like De Jong, Kounde, and Lewandowski. Although Barcelona has home advantage due to their location at Camp Nou, I am really doubting their ability to win without their star scorer. Joao Felix, sure, might be able to briefly bridge the gap left by Lewandowski, but he doesnt have the same presence or background as the Polish player. About Barcelona's chances in the El Clasico, I really do concern.
2929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 19, 2023, 02:12:33 PM
I really like Arsenal as well. The progress they have made so far is just marvelous. They are even considered as the 4th biggest contender for the Champions League title by bookies now. However I see one thing in Arsenal that could create a big problem for them when they face bigger challenges in the tournament. That thing is the lack of experienced players in the squad. I mean of course some of their young players have also gained a lot of experience to even lead the team - like Odegaard who is the new captain.

But I think they needed players such as Xhaka as well. They parted ways with him as well in the summer and now they are a very young team. Let's see how far they can make it like this.
Arsenal made it to UEFA Champions League this season and they're exhibiting their very best performance. Gunners are 100% ready to face challenging opponents this season, due to the reason and determination, they won their long-term preeminent rival for EPL title this season with just a thrilled 1 nil winning. That victory really had a positive impacts on the team, Mikel Arteta and his men are ready to boosts their performance in UCL this season. I'm confident they would qualify from from their group, it's not a big deal for Gunners, their main priority is reaching crucial phases in the long run for EPL this season. Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka will lead the team to path of glory this season.
I don't think arsenal having young players it will be a problem to them in the Champions league,  the truth is that arsenal is good in a better form to perform well. The young players arsenal have are really  good, from their performance so far this season I think arsenal are good enough to challenge any big team in the champions league. Arsenal might not be lucky to win the Champions league this season but they will really make a good performance in their in Champions league this season.

Let's get over with this now! Arsenal has no chance of winning the Champions League. That'll be considered an expensive joke. They should focus on winning the Premier League this season and not prioritizing a competition they know quite well they can't win.
They've had a remarkable season last season, so I expect them to use that energy and motivation towards getting the Premier League job done.

I didn't expect them to drop points off against Lens though, they shouldn't have lost that game. They should be very focused when they face Sevilla ahead. Sevilla now has a new coach, so they should expect something different and tough.
I understand your perspective, particularly in light of Lens's unanticipated loss. In fact, considering their past failures in the UCL, concentrating on the Premier League might be Arsenal's best chance. Its difficult for me to imagine them winning the UCL championship. One may counter that Arsenal might be finding their rhythm again in European events, given that Arteta managed to outsmart Guardiola the previous season. It would be foolish of Arsenal, in my opinion, to completely ignore the UCL. Given Sevilla's impending visit and their recently hired coaching staff, Arsenal needs to get ready for a tactical confrontation. But should they give one more priority than the other? The Premier League, in my opinion, merits the majority of their focus.

Once again there is news about Victor Osimhen leaving his team and this time this is going to be serious and Napoli is about to lose the superstar player who helped the team a lot.
Victor Osimhen had offered during the summer but he preferred to stay and now because of what happened between him and Napoli, he wants to leave the team.
Chelsea is the team that wants to hire Victor Osimhen and they can even hire this palyer in January.

https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/transfer-news/chelsea-victor-osimhen-january-transfer-27928899
To be honest, Im very worried about Osimhen moving to Chelsea. I concur that Victor Osimhen, who has proven he can lead a club to a championship, is a priceless asset to Napoli. Moving to Chelsea, though? I cant understand that choice. Chelsea has struggled to incorporate elite talent into a cohesive and successful plan, even with its almost limitless cash. Recall that success isnt guaranteed by money alone! I really think he ought to think again, especially considering the interest from other elite clubs like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. If the reports are accurate, Chelsea could need to reconsider their strategy to make sure they are fully utilising Osimhen's abilities. As a supporter, I hope Osimhen finds a team that genuinely recognises his ability.
2931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 19, 2023, 01:28:20 PM
I think its not everyone that has luck when it comes to gambling, some persons were not supposed to engage in gambling all their lifes, but they chose to gamble, and because they aren't always lucky, they will keep on losing.
The only people who I can say they are lucky in gambling are the only ones that have won big,and have used the money for something important, either investing it in something tangible,or making it generate another money for you.
It is not an easy thing winning a game predicted, and for those that have won big, they certainly deserves an accolade because it isn't easy to make lengthy prediction, and at the end of the day,you win them all.
Gambling is not easy as it seems, difficulty and struggles is definitely in this game, there's basically a lot to discussed about in the system. When we described a player to possess luck on side, it indirectly means he will stand in a solid position were he would generate significant profits without putting on the required efforts needed. Luck is one of the important attributes to possess on a gambler's side, though it's not in our possession to grab a lucky game, it comes anytime and generates quite an enormous profits for gambler's with the absence of hardwork or consistent results.
Its no joke to gamble. It is a complex, unclear domain where players' actions can be misconstrued. Thank you for mentioning "luck." In gambling, luck can trump strategy, talent, and experience. Interesting, huh? Sometimes occasional chance can lift someone to new heights without effort.

Chance-based long-term strategy is stupid and counterproductive. An attempt to solve gambling's complex issues. Although a lucky streak might overshadow hard work and steady success, sustainability and resilience win in the long term. Long-term success depends on the player's knowledge, experience, and strategy, not luck.

`

Turning 1k to 120k is possible in early years of Bitcoin but is quite hard in Bitcoin market today, while in the altcoin boom, this 1k to 120k is pretty normal.  Especially during the time of NFT craze and memecoin craze, although many got burned, there are also many people who got 1000x+.  Like for example Shib, there are lots of people who manage to make their investment more than 120k, it is not near impossible but an often occurrence in altcoin investment now a days.  We just need to time our entry and exit point perfectly because most of altcoins are pump and dump coins, if we happen to enter before the pump and sell before the dump, 120x profit is not near to impossible.  The term here is to be an early investors and don;t marry your altcoins, cash out when profit is seen so that one won't be burned and hold worthless tokens/coins.
Selling an altcoin at the right time is something that is easy for everyone to understand, but how can you determine what is the right time and more importantly when it will be? This is probably the most important question that traders need to answer and there are as many answers as there are traders.

So the majority of those that try to multiply their money in this way will fail to realize their goal, and in that case even if the possibilities of making so much money at such a fast speed are not zero, the odds are so low that you may as well think of them in that way.
[/quote]
The answer to "when" depends on one's understanding of market dynamics, global sentiments, and human behavior's unpredictability. Doesnt it amaze you that most people fail to crack the code?

A problem, right? Rapid gains tempt traders, but these markets' quickness and instability are their demise. Many jump into these waters assuming they have the approach and answer. As you noted, the odds are so against them that big profits are mostly a mirage. Trading is about moderating expectations with the market's unpredictable behaviour, not just information.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 19, 2023, 12:44:03 PM
Bitcoin is not for everyone, if you need money fast to rescue yourself from financial difficulties Bitcoin isn't the answer, you need a job and start making some income every month, do not come near Bitcoin if you don't have a job unless you aren't a man with some responsibility

I was able to survive the faucets and raindrop journey in my parents house because I was been feed by them everytime, I was not lacking a lot and all I have in mind is to build a strong foundation with Bitcoin, I was able to do it successfully because of my parents help and I am glad it paid off very well.

If you already have a family to look after, a wife or a husband,  what you need isn't Bitcoin because its a long journey to start making money off Bitcoin, what you need is a job or start up a business, investments are only good when you are able to take money out of your salary and put it into Bitcoin or other assets.

Today everyone is looking for a fast money grab, Bitcoin isn't going to provide that, it's a long term way of making money, most people don't have patience with investment because they are doing it wrong.
Your first argument is significant: Bitcoin is not a quick fix for financial problems. Indeed, a constant work or income source is essential for immediate financial stability. However, Bitcoin is often seen as a short-term solution to long-term issues. Bitcoin is a long-term, strategic investment, as shown by your trip, parents' support, and foundation. Bitcoin, like investments, requires patience, which many people lack or misunderstand.

Your second point hits home. The temptation of 'quick money' has misled many. Bitcoin and other investments arent about instant gratification. They're about forethought, long-term planning, and financial security to save for future rewards. Its sad that many think 'get-rich-quick'. Investors must comprehend their nature, and you seem to have.
2934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can change lives on: October 19, 2023, 12:22:20 PM
Keeping records and history is a very important aspect in the crypto industry, as it helps us know the the event that took place in the past.
So many people, when you suggest investment in the crypto industry, they will tend to make excuses of market volatility and coin performance in 365 days without even doing there own research, what about some years back?
In 2010, one Bitcoin was just $0.20, and buying 5,000 Bitcoin would cost only $1000.
Compare that price as of then to today's price $27k plus,  you would be obviously filthy rich.
I hope that this open the eyes of most newbie's the potential of Bitcoin, if you are already in the Bitcoin market just be happy because this market have a lot more to offer,
The most simple but effective way I use to navigate my way in the market is the DCA method I use, accormulate as much Bitcoin as possible because the bull run will definitely change the history of your finances if you position your self right and wait patiently for the bull run to come .
It's all about the risk one should take to change his/her life. Let's talk about the price of bitcoin in 2010, it was the earlier age of bitcoin, and no one trusted bitcoin easily because they didn't believe the prediction of Satoshi would be true one day and were not aware of the potential of bitcoin. Those who believed in Bitcoin at that time are now millioneries and we all know that history repeats itself. Today people again don't believe but a small one thinks that Bitcoin is a scam but they didn't take lessons from the past. After the coming halving price of bitcoin will be more than the last ATH and some experts predict that bitcoin this tīme will cross $100,000. So start the DCA strategy and buy a small portion of Bitcoin at every dump and hold it for the coming bull run.

Yes it's true, sometimes if someone wants to experience change or improvement in their life then they have to take a fairly or very risky path in any field, some succeed and some fail and I think it depends on each individual also on how they do it. Yes, if it's a matter of regret, to be honest, I also always remember 2010 where the price of bitcoin at that time was still very cheap and maybe my pocket money was bigger than one bitcoin, but well the problem is that in that era not many people knew about what bitcoin was including myself along with all its potential because at that time the world of investment was still not as well known as it is now.

Right and also on the other hand I can't imagine if at that time I had known bitcoin also with a little potential then maybe now I have at least at least 10 bitcoins and I will be one of the millionaires. Right, I agree with you, I also think like that, for those who now still don't believe in bitcoin I think they should know the journey and development of bitcoin in the last 10 years since 2010, and I think if only they see it then I'm sure most will believe in how the potential of bitcoin, it's hard to find a reason that bitcoin doesn't have any chance, and maybe only people who don't know will say that. Honestly for how high bitcoin will rise in the next ATH I don't know but certainly there is a guarantee that I think is quite convincing when you choose to start with long-term planning, you can start with a budget that does not interfere with your basic needs and certainly with money that you can be responsible for, then you can start allocating it using the DCA strategy once a week or maybe once a month, that's good especially for beginners.
Risk-taking drives advancement, especially in innovative, uncertain industries. With something as transformative as Bitcoin, lost chances are easy to regret. Bitcoin was obscure in 2010. Most were blissfully unaware of its potential. If you had today's knowledge, you would have jumped in. The paradox of innovation is that early adopters get the most benefits before most realise its genuine value.

People who've followed Bitcoin since its inception share your sentiment. Knowing its history is key to understanding its potential. The crypto-skeptics? Perhaps a full retrospective will change their mind. Bitcoin's ATH is hotly rumoured. Indeed, a long-term, measured approach like the DCA strategy is not just recommended but almost required for serious investors in this field.

Really this is a mystery question people used to ask in the cryptocurrency world. Everyone is saying that we should secure our private keys, seed phrase and other password, but as human we will not live forever so when we are no more  or very weak to the extent that we can't do anything and they need money to take you to the hospital or pay bill. Well there are different ways you can secure your wallet. But for knowing your wallet seed phrase, you have to show one person who is knowledgeable about bitcoin, and make sure you trust the person and give the person a copy of the seed phrase. So that even though you have passed away the person can control and manage the funds.

Those that will likely be around you are the members of your family to take good care of you, if they know about your keys at that critical condition i don't think that is bad enough, whenever you get well you can always make  decision on changing the wallet you use and that is if you have not already been outsmart by anyone of them, also it's something he may send a little amount to an exchange and allow them have access to it or even when the money is already on exchanges for such little expenses, they can only have access to the exchange account and not your non custodial wallet.

It is difficult for a person to live alone. He needs to trust someone. People we can trust may be our relatives or friends. This is not just about crypto, I mean being alone and having no one to trust is a very sad and difficult situation.

Money is earned over time, but we cannot buy the people we can trust around us with money. It is a great chance to have people we can trust. Therefore, if you have investments, there is no harm in telling them to someone you trust. Just as we need to be careful in everything, you should also be careful to choose this person well.
Indeed, people naturally want connection and trust. This need isnt just about crypto or material gains; it comes from deep inside our minds. When we're alone and dont trust anyone, it makes us feel very alone. When things are as unstable and unclear as the cryptocurrency markets, trust is very important. Over time, trust has evolved , but at its core, its still the same.

Your point about how money cant buy trust is a very good one. Even though money is very strong, it cant buy real relationships or the respect of honest people. This fact is made stronger by the crypto world. Telling people you trust about your finances is very important. The biggest problem, though, is telling the difference between real trust and fake trust. In the volatile world of cryptocurrency, one bad friend can cause bad things to happen. And even though you stress how important it is to share, the critical study of "who" is still the most important thing.

Centralised governments often gain power from monetary control. Decentralised power is what cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin, is about. You're right that countries' most powerful tool is interest rate control, which is almost useless in a crypto economy. The crucial, sometimes ignored issue is sovereignty. State sovereignty is guaranteed by currency and interest rate regulation.

Why do some nations strongly oppose crypto? Your claim that they may be protecting their fellow citizens is reasonable but incomplete. A deeper fear exists. Governments may lose financial power by fully embracing cryptocurrency. If crypto becomes the main form of payment, countries cant use monetary policy to encourage or slow economic growth. This has major implications. Imagine the state losing power because they cant control currency. Interesting yet terrifying for power, no?

First time my country have bad viewed with bitcoin transaction and many my citizen bad opinion with bitcoin such as not more valuable in the future until claimed as gambling kinds of bitcoin. But after huge transaction in daily day, my government have good viewed with bitcoin and get bigger opportunity to earn more taxes with huge bitcoin transaction in daily day. Have been two years with my country Indonesian adopted taxes for all cryptocurrency transaction when selling or buying in local exchange decentralized, we have to pay taxes not matter your position profit or loss during trade on local exchange must pay taxes.

For the future have good viewed with bitcoin in my country, first have bad mindset and right now bitcoin huge profitable with taxes income for government and they can earn much income when huge transaction in our local decentralize exchange.
Many governments, including Indonesia, change their minds quickly about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies when they realise they could bring in a lot of tax money. Initially, they avoid it, label it as gambling, and spread bad stories about it. Although, when they see a chance to make money, they change their tune, right? Allow us to now talk about how people act. With government views swaying the people, they get stuck in a mental tug-of-war. People are first told it's bad, but then it's suddenly seen as the next best thing because the government is making money off of it. What happened to consistency?

But now that the Indonesian government has demonised Bitcoin, they see how profitable it is and start taxing every transaction, whether the buyer or seller makes money or loses money. In what way does that treat the people fairly? It's good that they're looking to the future of banking, but the change seems like a wasted chance. For people to be able to handle this new financial world, they need to be given clear information and maybe even rewards.

But if you ask me, I would sell all my crypto assets and stay away from the market for a while.
Selling all your BTC's and converting it to fiat is not a good idea in my honest opinion, fiat suffers from inflation, so selling all your BTC's and converting it to fiat is not a good idea to me. You can probably sell all your coins if you have plans of diversifying into other investments like gold, real estate, etc. But if you are selling it, only to hold it in your fiat bank account, where it will be affected by inflation, then it is better you sell only 50% of your coins and leave the other 50% in BTC.

Why don't you read everything he said? He said that he will sell all crypto assets when the price reaches the target and will return when bear season arrives. Meaning he has no intention of stopping holding bitcoin forever and will continue to hold fiat currency forever. Furthermore, the bull season lasts no more than a year, and do you think that in that one year, the value of fiat currencies like USD will lose 50% of its value? We always talk about inflation, the devaluation of fiat currency, but the reality is that it does not depreciate as quickly as crypto assets. USD does not lose 30% or 50% of its value in a few months or a year. So, don't always talk about losing the value of fiat currency in inappropriate situations.
He probably do not understood the intention when he saw the word "sell all my crypto and stay away from the market."

Anyways, taking a break after reaching the target price on Bitcoin is a good idea. Correction in the value of Bitcoin after reaching its peak always come. No one have the idea of when it will happen but the sudden dump in price is possible. It will take time, but who knows how many months/years for it to happen.

However, this kind of strategy may often fail for some people. It may lead to being unneasy and agitated to make an investment again after seeing the sudden dump in price. I know some people who do this kind of mistake, and the price of bitcoin continue to decrease after their investment.

Isnt it just typical? A lot of the time, people make rash choices without thinking them through because they sense something. Just the fact that the original purpose was misunderstood shows how unpredictable people can be when it comes to money. But yes, retreating post hitting a target seems logical. It is inevitable that bitcoin will experience highs and lows, just like any other volatile asset. People always say that timing is key.

But lets look a little deeper. This plan to "take a break" is full of problems. Watching the market fall after investing can be very upsetting and have a negative effect on a person's mental health. A lot of people get stuck in this mental mess, and unfortunately, for some, it gets worse when Bitcoin's price keeps going down after they buy in. A self-fulfilling prophecy of bad things happening.

Whenever you read stories like this I feel it is important to remember that it wasn’t some failure of a protocol or software bug that lead to this rip off occurring. It was just a standard run of the mill scammer that happened to find a victim willing to send funds online in a non-reversible fashion. Let his mistake be your education.

Things like this are common because most of their victims listen to their nonsense and take their bait about their good-to-be-true offers. Well, the only good thing about this story as you said is to learn from them because they really exist in this world and they are willing to use every trick in the book just to fool their victims. Thankfully, as he said, it's just a small amount, and looks like he can afford to lose it.

This can be avoidable if they made the payment to the right venue where they can meet up and sign the documents legally. But if they made the transaction online and tell that later on he can get the unit he bought from that guy then this is totally risky condition. Now he understand why we need to be aware about this scamming happened and his unfortunate experience maybe a learning experience to him also to other that they should never believe to anyone especially if there's money involve in the discussion.

This is harsh incident but since it really happen then there's nothing he can do with that money lose for side of OP and he should be more careful next time if he want to deal something with his crypto balance or even with fiat he have.
For transactions involving money, especially cryptocurrency that can change quickly and cant be reversed, its important to do p2p and have legal proof to back up the deal. Many people still do risky things online without having solid guarantees. Thats not just a mistake; its a clear disregard for the widespread nature of online fraud today.

Speaking from experience, its simple: being careful is the most important thing. Nevertheless, as well-informed Internet users, isnt it our shared duty to keep pointing out the risks? Assemble the tools we need to tell the difference between real and fake deals. OP's loss isnt just a personal tragedy; its an important reminder of how bad it is to overlook safety issues. Dealing digitally requires not only being aware of security issues but also working hard to fix them all the time.

MetaMask is primarily an Ethereum-based wallet, and you cant accept Bitcoin directly through it. But the world of crypto doesnt end at Ethereum. Now, if you're adamant about Bitcoin (and you should be, given its prominence), then you need a comprehensive solution. Wallets like Coinbase Commerce or BitPay offer merchant services and allow acceptance of multiple cryptocurrencies, including BTC. You are absolutely right with the QR code idea. These services provide you with a QR code for payments. Customers scan, pay, and its done. Simple, direct, no frills.

However, a word of caution: crypto payments, while futuristic and cool, arent always as straightforward as traditional methods. Transaction times, fluctuations in value, potential tech issues - these could pose problems. You need to be prepared to face these challenges head-on. Its not just about having a QR code printed and stuck to your counter. Its about understanding the ecosystem, the potential pitfalls, and the advantages. If you're ready to dive deep and get your hands dirty, then welcome to the future of payments.
