Marcial, Batangas City top execs discuss protocols

The fact that Marcial is now having conversations and discussions about the protocols on the supposed venues, meaning their recent meeting with the IATF was quite a success.

If we will analyze it (just my own view), IATF maybe ask them to finalize first the venue (approved by the Mayor or executives on the location) and protocols before giving them a go signal. At that meeting, there is no final plan yet on the venue.

Well then, I think it's now positive to see the PBA opening this year.

That's good news, maybe the speculation of some here that they will open by next month will come true. Plenty of times to iron things out, start training this month once everything is approved then officially start the season next month, I guess that's a great plan.
2922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Controls Crypto? on: May 05, 2021, 03:27:04 AM
The government may not be able to control each crypto, one by one because the cryptocurrency itself is very volatile and also depends really on the market.
however, yes you are right that government can shut down the exchanges of crypto that are being in their country's regulation. Every country has different rules and regulations related to crypto. And a company needs certain permission and also law to build a company itself including cryptocurrency exchanges. And when the exchanges are not suitable or conformed to the country's regulations, the exchanges will be banned or blocked.
This also happens in my country where every exchange must be registered in one of the institution in our country to enable to run in Indonesia

I agree that the government has the power to close the exchanges registered in the country, even if it can do extreme things. Like banned
cryptocurrency, but that doesn't mean the government can really control crypto. Because I have a friend where he lives in a country that
rejects crypto and punishes its citizens who are caught using crypto. But still my friend can still buy crypto and own it, so it is impossible
for the government to fully control crypto.

If the government has in control, then manipulation is not anymore happening, IMO, the market is well manipulated, so I would say that it's not yet regulated well, and the government has to step on it now, put a clear law especially on exchanges where faking their transactions and volume.

The government could really benefit from crypto, but they can't do that if they lack control over it.

Let's be realistic, we are still in the early stage, adoption is still young so it's normal to see things that we arent' expecting to happen, lack of regulation and lack of control.
2923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 05, 2021, 02:37:34 AM
^^ I have to agree at certain point, I guess there's too much pressure on the shoulder of Kuzma when Lebron and Davis was injured, he was supposedly the go to guy to carry the team and he didn't live up to the expectations.

But let's not rush on our judges on him, maybe he really needs some guidance from Lebron to blossom into a real superstar in the future.

Only the management knows what's going on, we have our observation, so we are just stating our opinion, there's nothing wrong with that, at least Kuzma would know how we feel when he is not contributing to the team as expected.

Quote
Give him at least a year in Lakers uniform and see how he will perform as he gain more experience.
Time is very important for the Lakers, there's a high expectation on this team because they have Lebron and added Davis on the line up, if they will still not succeed, then for sure some players will be move and probably Kuzma will be included.
2924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Halving, Another ATH on: May 04, 2021, 11:03:05 PM
I'm already started to miss the $10,000 price of Bitcoin where we are stuck there for a few months before we started to rally high and reach $20,000.
And as the market remains in this situation (bullish), I'm started not to think about reaching it back again. I know and we can't deny that many people are waiting for the market crash but sound like it was hopeless.
And I was wondering how the next halving could affect the trend or it even helps the market not to dump again as it is possible that people will start filling their bag as early as possible before.

2925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: May 04, 2021, 10:38:00 PM
I am a newbie on this forum. My main focus is trading ( crypto) I have been trading for a couple years. Just curious to ask a question : what was your worst mistake ( in the very beginning, 1st year).
Would be happy to read about your experience !
Being doubtful and leads me to the wrong decisions.

It finds really hard when your mindset is not already clear and when you don't have a plan to follow. It is to realize that we need to have a strong faith in what we do as it gives us strength even we suffer losses. I'd never had this before until such time that I started to read books and watching online tutorials and from that, it changing a lot. It is sometimes we need time to educate ourselves to find where we are wrong and to correct it.
2926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 04, 2021, 11:53:45 AM
Lakers looking good without Lebron James, leading by 10 against the Nuggets. Anthony Davis is having the best game since he comes back from injury.

Not an impressive win though. The Lakers still needs to improve their ball rotation and plays. Lucky their bench was draining some threes from Gasol and Matthews, and a good winning block from AD at the end of the game.
They were up 10 down the stretch and the Nuggets was able to close the gap at 2.
So, again not an impressive win. I know there was no LeBron and so the Nuggets has no Murray as well.

Indeed. They should use Marc Gasol more. They are too inclined to use Drummond only but forgot Gasol can shoot outside which is a big threat for a center.
If they can open up space thru the rim then they could attack more using Davis.
They are lucky Dozier was injured and the Nuggets were having a difficult time finding their offense while Porter was also having a bad night.
It's a good start, perhaps they can now find some determination with this win against a team from the top.

Where is Kuzma? 31 minutes 6 points. This should be the time where he could shine most while Lebron is still resting. He had his minutes and was good against the Raptors. No consistency.

what we witnessed is another proof that Kuzma is inconsistent, I think he would not last with the Lakers, probably next season he will be traded if he will not improve his game. He can score 30 points at one night, and the next night he will struggle, that's not what the Lakers need now, they need someone who can provide for them as Lakers as a team is struggling.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 04, 2021, 11:36:09 AM
I think Casimero will have the edge here. Rigondeaux is somewhat on the decline is the last couple of years and I think Father Time is catching up with him. While Casimero is at his peak right now and obviously, the brawler and has knock out punch in both hands.
This is still a good fight although Rigondeaux is not undefeated anymore.
Actually, Tete was a defensive fighter too, in fact, he is taller and he can impose his defensive style but Casimero found a way to destroy his defense and he was hit by a huge upper cut IIRC.

I like this fight as both fighters are well respected, this should bring real entertainment during fight night.

The only problem I see is that Rigondeaux is a defensive boxer, so it might frustrate Casimero if he can't hit a moving target and he might used a lot of energy chasing Rigondeaux around.
I hope we will see a good fight, not a boring fight, and with that said, Casimero should dictate this fight.
2928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prices are low, time to buy some good coin!! on: May 03, 2021, 10:41:59 PM
I saw Avalanche had a good accumulation phase and ready to make another round. Unluckily I didn't buy when it was 4 dollars, my friends bought it and sold for good profit. It's very possible to see second rally these days, as you know there are good updates on Avalanche.
I don't really follow Sushi and Iota's price lately so I have no idea about them. My favorites are still CAKE and BNB. They might look priced already but I see they have big room to grow more.
We only just hopes that the market rally will stay longer. Almost all coins are hyping and I saw that new projects seem to grow wild than the old coins. I was in regret not buying them earlier before the altseason has come because I'd only focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe it wasn't late for me to look for new projects like the coming NFT for investment, right?  I supposed to take this chance before the bullish season will end.
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull market is back? BTC is 57k on: May 01, 2021, 08:45:08 PM
BTC seems to terun to 60k again,

I made a big mistake of selling all cryptocurrencies at 50k last week.
It wasn't a mistake dude, we can't be all in perfect timing, and the fact that we are not holding the market which we can demand the right price, that gonna be happen.

Now my friend recommended me the Shield DAO, an upcoming ICO star project, and most of the KOLs I follow are recommending it.

Can I return to the market and invest in it. If you, how do you choose?

If you trusted this KOL that was your choice. Because for me, I do the search first before making such a decision. I know they are experts in this but it was more advantageous if we already have knowledge about the project that we have planned to invest in.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 01, 2021, 07:32:25 PM
If Perez could blend well with the team, they might improve.

He also has to remember that he is not only the star in this team, he maybe is the lone star in this previous team but SMB has a lot of star players, all the starters are star players and even some of the reserves. We haven't witnessed yet so let's see how SMB would play in the season to come.

If he can't then expect that he will be traded, SMB is a team now that has good chemistry, remember that Romeo wasn't that effective during his TNT days, but when he was traded to SMB, he helps the team to win a championship and even became a finals MVP.

I have no doubt of Perez's skills as a PBA player, he is a humble player so he will surely adapt to the team and will not act like a superstar. Just consider this reality, if Fajardo who is currently the best player in the PBA, has moved multiple championships and MVP still remains humble, how come a newcomer will act more than the Kraken.
2931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 01, 2021, 07:16:51 PM
Conor McGregor lost to his gas tank and it was not a big secret that his cardio is his down coming and there is no chance that anyone else let alone a novice like Logan could defeat Mayweather even at 44 years.
Conor McGregor has a lot of supporters who back him up even though he is not having the skills set to defeat elite level boxers nor elite level wrestlers and yet he had a good run in the UFC and he was lucky enough to avoid tough match ups during his rise to stardom and the UFC was helping him avoid those match ups as well and fought only strikers mostly.

I will give Logan Paul a punchers chance and the size advantage but other than that there is no way he could defeat Mayweather with the skill set he has against an elite boxer.

I'm not sure how low the chance of Logan Paul winning this fight, but one thing I know, Mayweather would not allow his record to be ruined, so he will keep winning and if he is still undefeated in exhibition fights, he can still fight another fighter and continue to make money.
Lose or not it wont or doesnt matter because this isnt an official match which means even mayweather would lose this one (impossible) he wont really be breaking his undefeated record since it isnt an official one.
This one might really be rather creating some issue if he would be losing up into a fighter but not really that a boxer. Winning chance is very low and i dont know on why there are people
whom do really believe that he can beat him up and those images above its clear that they are really making some hype in the public to make it look more interesting.
We never know, exhibition fights are very unpredictable, but Mayweather is actually predictable, I believe he will not allow losing whether it's an exhibition fight or a professional fight. Maybe we can ask ourselves, what would Mayweather get if he will allow himself to lose this fight?

If he will bet against himself (which is illegal) then he will make more than he will make as a purse in this fight, but that's only a very slim possibility.
2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing on: May 01, 2021, 05:56:06 PM
It's strange to see such price for SNM. I good remember this project, as I have participated in their ICO. But there have been problems with team members almost from the start of their activiti. But now SNM is becoming alive. Maybe this project got new team... Maybe we missed some announcement...
The recent redenomination and swap of SNM tokens had a great impact on the price increase. Plus to all this was the support of this process by Binance. Actually today we can see excellent growth. Congratulations on the profit to everyone who paid attention to the coin before)
There was no profit since the supply has been reduced by 10 times, so it's normal to see the price increase. Just like other altcoins, they do a swap to gain attraction from investors, but only their real development would reason for long-term success.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: May 01, 2021, 05:31:41 PM
The question is, can you hold bitcoin until it reaches 1 million dollars, bitcoin reaching 1 million dollars is possible but it will take too much time or many years before it happens, so the best thing to do now is to start saving your money and invest it in bitcoin, we might see bitcoin at 1 million dollars and if that would happen then that is a huge profit.

Well, to be realistic, that's really a tough question to answer, in my case, I might be tempted to sell when bitcoin reaches $100,000.. problem is I don't have 1 bitcoin now, probably I just wait until the market will correct then I will start to accumulate and hold again for the next bull run.
2934  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 01, 2021, 05:07:39 PM
f you spend it all now, the one's you'll leave out will have nothing to spend for the rest pf their days. Yes money is superficial and is something that you can get back through time, but you have to remember that almost everything in this world runs with money. If you don't spend your greenbacks wisely, you'll end up leaving your loved ones in sheer poverty, plus you'd leave an unhealthy financial mindset that wouldn't help them rise above the murk you put them in in the first place. So spend, but be mindful, spend but be responsible, spend, but be prudent.
Is it really necessary to spend rather than saving? I think OP have never been in a situation struggling just to earn some money instead of wasting it to nonsense things. Spending of course won't be avoided but also see to it that you are spending your money wisely. Invest your money instead. Invest in bitcoin and you'll gonna thank me after that.
2935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: May 01, 2021, 04:23:06 PM
It is important to make people more pay attention to cashless payment method include bitcoin so probably we can end this pandemic faster. In my country poor people still need to go to outside for work so they can continue their life. Government don't give us financial support enough. They just don't have any choice except keep working outside.
If we have a family to feed, we have no choice but to keep on working outside our home than leave them with empty stomach. Cashless transactions should be more encourage in this time of pandemic and bitcoin is definitely a good example. Yes, we're safe with bitcoin because aside from keeping us away from the virus, its probably the most convenient and useful digital currency in this era because aside from being used as a payment for our good and services, its also being considered a good store of value and maybe a good retirement outlet too for those who just want to earn profits while staying at home.
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ultimately long time holders are enjoying the real BEAUTY! on: May 01, 2021, 03:46:12 PM
Holding for long term is sure a thing of joy like watching ur worthless assets grow into a previous assets. I have few assets i acquired few years back which where kinda worthless but recently they are now worth something tangible though not a lot but i plan to hold onto them for a bit more longer time.
Holding does not give us passive profits all the time like if we hold low valued coins, until now some of them ended up being dead coins and are now considered worthless. But if we start holding those high risk coins like bitcoin and ethereum, they will never disappoint us in the long run because we already know their strong foundation and have even gained more demand from people as years coming by. Their value are also growing every year that made them worth investing and holding.
2937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: April 30, 2021, 10:58:02 PM
Trading couldn't be just an imagination but it is a need more on executions. Buying Low and Sell at High...pretty easy, right? But wondering why many we're still not able to get it and earn profit with that strategy? That might probably because they are too careless and impatient person. And this kind of behavior will bring you down and helps you nothing. If we are going to succeed, we have also to follow our plan and that is to sell high, not in panic.
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: April 30, 2021, 08:51:00 PM
Yes I agree most bounty hunters ends up being scammed due to their greediness,
They ignore the fact that those campaign or project could be scam or they are too lazy to even check it.
They would just join any bounty that they could they and for me it is a big waste of time.
If only they would spend more time checking the campaign or project than just joining it they could have a higher chance of earning than getting scammed.
If a bounty hunter keeps on joining bounties without even reading or making an analysis on the project just for the reason to make funds, he will have to face lot of scam projects in the future probably.
There is no wrong if we are eager enough to maintain a good income through bounty projects but we should also be more careful in choosing those legit projects so as not to help scammers succeed in their own wrongful way.
2939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: April 30, 2021, 07:12:45 PM
For a number of mistakes that I've encountered in crypto, I can't remember them all. But they have some in common and that to overly expect for the project will grow, however, it was not what I saw, and lose my investment. And that was really hurt when you spend a lot of money for a certain project as we think for x10, x20 profit gains but in just a few days, it was gone.

I even think about quitting after that but instead, it gives me the courage to continue and use those mistakes as a learning tool. And it helps me to be more confident of what I'm doing with the help of those bad experiences.
2940  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: April 30, 2021, 04:47:58 PM
How would you define what is to be "rich"? Is it about having enough for living or is there something else that you would be looking to accomplish to be rich?
Is it 1 million USD? Is it 1000 bitcoin? what are your thoughts?
I think everyone will answer differently in determining what is meant by rich, rich is unlimited depending on the perspective of each. in my opinion, someone who can be said to be rich is someone who can realize what they need in their life. but there are also those who mean that the definition of rich is someone who has a lot of money and they always collect as much money as possible. they are already rich but they cannot enjoy it because they are busy accumulating wealth. sometimes other people thik we are rich people, but we still feel not rich. son o rich is srelative, depending on the mindset of each person.use e

While other people think of being rich as having tons of money from their hardwork, but for me a rich person is something that has a golden spoon on the table since birth. People like this won't do anything to sustain their wealth because he's rich already from the day he was born. There are also some people who considered themselves rich because they are contented already on the love and affection they are receiving from the people around them.
