2921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone making 4 or 5 digits (USD) monthly from Crypto Sports betting? on: February 12, 2023, 07:54:58 PM
I think that if a person wins figures like that first, they will not come here to say it, there are people who win that, and they are in the big casinos, there are many on stake.com, those who win sometimes publish the way they did it , and that serves as an example for everyone to verify the authenticity of the best casinos with the best reputation, that is something that should always be highlighted, if we break, some casinos do too, bitcasino.io, duelbits They have published it in their respective threads, and personally they motivate me to play, but of course, not at their level, I don't have that capacity for money, but with what little I have. That when you see it in a casino, or when it is published in a thread, I know that for many it gives more motivation to win, but you have to think about what you will lose before you win.
When it comes to the point about their shared wins and victories, we don't want to take a look at how much it cost them to lose first before winning.
It's given by the book that these successful gamblers who are earning a lot with 4-5 digits USD monthly are the real and actual gamblers that have their moves planned before taking action. It's encouraging to have them shared those wins they've made and that's what they want to do and others to follow their path but it's not just really for everyone.
2922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible ? on: February 12, 2023, 07:28:32 PM
That's really possible to use third-party services like bitpay. There is other known service that you can search out that offers the same service as the one that I've mentioned.
Note that there have been some issues with the users that I've seen share that they've used that with their business but IIRC, they're not really major problems that be dealt with.
2923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 12, 2023, 06:50:51 PM
Well, I had a friend who at that time was over 60 years old, and he told me that he wanted to learn everything about computers, and I remember that every day I went and taught him, and in a period of 3 months he had a great level , he learned a lot, about internet searches, about what pages he could visit, what pages not to visit, at that time it was long before 2009, because Bitcin did not exist yet, but I am sure that if it had existed and I would have taught him, he would have acquired Bitcoin and I would have worked with BITCOIN, older adults are very intelligent and I think that a crypto casino would learn crypto very quickly.
There are elderly that can catch up with everything that they want to learn and it's only going to take them less time to be good at it. Although it sounds good to see them taking some touch with crypto and gambling. It's better for them to just enjoy other things than gambling. I agree to the concerns of the others that don't encourage them into gambling if they're already old enough because we don't know if they'll be compulsive and will start to react with every loss that they make. I saw some elder that have been through with that.
2924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: February 12, 2023, 06:26:58 PM
The strategy might seem to be easy upon explanation or when being told in detail. But when you're actually doing it, you might feel anxious and have some fear.
You may not actually look at that price point of selling because you might feel that it's quite low and you want to wait for some more. And then, later on you'll miss the chance of selling and that's why it's sometimes hard to predict and get the right time to buy and sell and on this case, DCA really is the thing to do.
Well, there's no perfect way to do it for the first time. That's the lesson will come after you make a mistakes but if OP would be lucky he might not lost too much on a single try. Doing DCA on a bear market helps you a lot during the bull run since all of what you have had collected will rise in value. But I'll make sure that it's the right coin and not the shit coins somewhere that wouldn't have a value in long term.

Choose your investment wisely whether it's Bitcoin or altcoins but I'd rather choose to diversify my investment.
Everyone is free to do strategies that they think are going to be perfectly fitting their investment style. So if you're for diversification, I just want to say that don't diversify that much and still choose the best that you think will contribute to your portfolio.

Dear fellows pretty much agreed with your point. As OP considers BTC as the saving mode. Op is not sure about the savings type is it temporary or long run sometimes we save money for temporary times to use when needed then bro i am in doubt that OPs considering BTC as a saving mode is not good. The reason is simply it feels risky because money is important on needed time for OP what if the market drops by massive value then OP would have no choice except the Selling at Loss.

DCA is good for the Long RUN if you want to draw results from a short period of time then DCA might not be good for you.
Yeah, short period for DCA might not really show the best results but I think someone can learn from that idea if they ever planned to go after the long term.
Test until it's proven to be good and suiting the investor or trader alone.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Delisted Alts from KuCoin!!! on: February 12, 2023, 05:56:13 PM
I have heard of a few like pivx which was very sensational before when you can have a master node of it. There are other altcoins that I know in this delisted lists. It's not that sad to see them go and not that surprising at all because most of the alts fame really is going out of tune every year that passes by.
I think this thread is more suitable to be in the Service Discussion (Altcoins).

Thanks for the replies.  Does anyone know of a law suit who could help with such cases?
Thanks
Since you're likely capable of it, look for some lawyers that deal with digital solutions and cases in your country. They are likely to help you file some cases or make a demand to cex.io to expedite the process that your funds are dealing with.
This is their profile (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=148073) they're replying to the accusations that are thrown at them, maybe it'll help if you to contact this account.
2928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 11, 2023, 05:01:39 PM
I have seen a couple of times some casinos owner doing some wagers, but I don't think they do it for gambling, they do it more to test the engine. And if they want to gamble big, I don't think they will do it in their own casino because the fact that getting paid with your own money isn't a good business at all.

Most of the casino owners understand they are the house, and as the house, they are gambling 24/7 against the users, so, there is no need to place bets.
It's like going to be against their goal as owners if they go against their own platforms. Yeah, that might be the reason why they gamble on their own and that's just for the sake of testing or exposure that they're the ones who also support themselves.
But to be like addicted gamblers, that's probably out of the book if they do it on their own platforms. Most likely, they'll gamble somewhere else if they really are an addicted gamblers.
2929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to HODL on: February 11, 2023, 10:37:57 AM
I still have a lot of USDT in my wallet, I already have ROSE, NFTb, TRX, AXS. My question is any other altcoins that I have missed or should check out?
Before proceeding in asking what altcoins you must hold, haven't you taken bitcoin yet? I have AXS and it seems that it's very passive for the past two years.
I haven't had my ROI yet with it.
And that's why if you're into altcoins, you have diversified a lot and I guess it is time for you to start reconsidering of owning bitcoin if ever you still haven't got it.
2930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My ideals on how to promote Bitcoin in my locality on: February 11, 2023, 09:46:18 AM
As much as I do understand how effective it is when a religious leader speaks, I find it odd when I hear from them that they're talking about bitcoin.
In the church where I am part of, I've heard two of the preachers speak about it and one is near the high authority and disagrees with bitcoin and really spoke about it as a scam. I was very sad upon hearing that because it's obvious that he needs more knowledge about bitcoin.
While the other one spoke about it as a sort of online payment method and didn't hear something negative about it. That's why if someone thinks of this idea, it's better to remain as an idea.
2931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is Gambling? ChatGPT Responses. on: February 11, 2023, 09:04:01 AM
I don't see any difference between the explanation of ewch age. As far as I can say, each answer explains what is gambling and ak don't see the importance of asking it from different person and different age either the answer is gathered by an AI that is available online or from people personally. Even if the accuracy is not the same as you yourself gather the information but still the answer is on point in my opinion.
Yeah, the ai gathers information through the web and it's being collated by it. If we're going to ask the same question and based on the age, the answer will vary.
I've asked the same question for a 5-year-old and it has answered differently but the point is there and yes, its answer is on point and understandably good to be explained.
I find chatgpt more useful if the questions being asked are about technical related matters depending on the technologies that I'm interested with. It really answers those questions I'm throwing at it and gives me insightful answers.
2932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: February 11, 2023, 08:28:20 AM
I think trading Addiction is personally inflicted unlike gambling addiction, to avoid over trading, I sticked to 3 and 4 hours time frames that means I only analyze my chart every few minutes to a close of 3 or 4 hours candle chart for a possible trading setup based on my trading strategy, if there is a good setup I pull the trigger and wait to take profit thus I avoided being addicted to trading and my trading perception is not scalping where I needed to monitor price 24/7 which can invariably lead to trading addiction especially when the trader is trying to recover from streak of losses.
We'll be there, if we do trade at most times, we're prone to being addicted to it. But I think that there's an even better results from it than being addicted to any other things.
If you know how to pull things from it and you're aware of where it can lead you and aware of your limitations. That means you're doing it right and timeframes are key for you to cope up with it.
2933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does regulation affect the future of cryptocurrency? on: February 11, 2023, 07:39:16 AM
It's important to keep in mind that the regulatory environment for cryptocurrency is constantly evolving, and new developments can have a significant impact on the future of the market.
That is true and they never stop. The changes are permanent and we don't know what's in it for the regulatory bodies that are monitoring the growth of cryptocurrencies.
Today, they may like it and the policies aren't as heavy as the other nations imposed on their crypto people. Tomorrow, it might change as we have said, they're really changing and evolving overtime.
But it is the unstable nature of the regulations which make people to ignore them, and if we add that in many of the countries in which the most strict regulations are put in place are the countries which are facing very difficult economic conditions, then it is not difficult to imagine that if people have to decide between using cryptocurrencies and having something to eat or following the regulations put in place but suffer from hunger then they will prefer to use cryptocurrencies even if they have to disobey the law to do it.
That's why they are there, to set some standard for people to follow in this very unstable market. But with that example of yours, it happens at most times when people no longer follow regulations and just follow what they think is going to be the best for them.
It's no longer a secret that if it's for some reasons, there are laws that really aren't being followed and for crypto, we're still at the early stages of it and these standards are just based on what the government think of it and based from its country's stand on it.
2934  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 11, 2023, 06:57:19 AM
2935  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 11, 2023, 06:03:10 AM
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best safe places to get USDC or DAI Interest? on: February 10, 2023, 11:45:26 PM
Well, most of the platforms that will offer you interest are likely centralized platforms and you know what that means? You don't hold the assets that you'll put into interest accounts there.
As you're looking for a "safe" place to deposit those stable coins for you to earn, all of them bear the risk and that's why you need to choose the one you're trusting the most. Most exchanges are offering it but again, the risk is that you don't hold them so always remember this>

Phoenix Suns new contender for championship?

Ayton - Booker - Durant - Paul Shocked

Which team has the biggest advantage after trades?
No doubt that it's them. Yeah, they're now a contender for the championship but that doesn't mean it's a guarantee for them.
Mavs also got a good addition so, this would really means that too many teams now are too good to be considered as a top caliber for this season. Lakers as well.

With this changes they can be considered as good contender  for this seasons title,  though I agree that it isn't a guarantee for them to win a title.

It will still depends from how they will utilize  KD and how they will adjust with the system that they will include KD from the rotation.

So many strong superteams now, it will nice to see great  competition as it will benefits the fans a lot.
Yeah, too many of them have become strong lately and gotten the help that they need. But as said, only if most of them are going to remain healthy until the end of this season.
We have a very good example from the Lakers. AD is strong, there's the only obstacle that he's getting that is being injured which stops him from playing well and contributing to the team. He's one of the big man of the team and when he's not there, we can see the clear difference.
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best practices to prevent hackers from stealing our crypto assets on: February 10, 2023, 10:45:43 PM
Being educated in what we do is the best asset to have and the best protection that we can have. Because when you're aware on how to avoid all of those unknown links, and surprising emails that you don't know the source of then that means you've been educating yourself on preventing being hacked.
This also covers how to be away from scammers. It's one thing you need to have but you can use it for so many things so, the known quote about one stone hitting two birds.
2939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs of compulsive gambling on: February 10, 2023, 08:24:57 PM
how did you get rid of this ?
The realization will hit hard on those gamblers that are transitioning from being a gambler to a compulsive gamblers. Doing other important tasks that are being neglected due to gambling is a serious sign.
I saw many cases that have became like that and it stopped them from being productive into their jobs because all they think is about gambling, that's an unhealthy sign and I agree with people telling that asking for an expert like counselling is what these people need.

I haven't looked yet but they have to have the highest odds.  This literally is the best situation for Durant.  He doesn't need to bring the ball up and is going to have cp setting the table for him lol.  If everyone stays healthy not a single team is going to want to deal with them.
I agree with the latter part. It's always on how healthy everyone is going to survive the season until they reach their goal, which could be the playoffs, semis, and even the finals.
A team that does have healthy stars are likely the one to be landing the goal of every team and that's to be part of those that I have mentioned. KD surely can go everywhere and I just find it odd this time that the Nets was able to trade him quickly unlike the last time when they're also looking to trade him but no team has taken him.
