2921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 04, 2020, 09:31:47 AM
I was shaking at the last minute of Lakers vs Jazz.
My bet was over 218. Score was 110 - 104 with 45 seconds remaining
Then suddenly AD made a 3 point shot and a foul. (218) He was really hot on almost the same spot.
Of course, I need one more point but Mitchell made sure I will win, with a 4 point play too.  Grin

Damn! I was jumping with joy. Won the parlay again. Let's keep this streak going guys.  Cheesy

I saw that, that 3 point step back of AD was special, I think he is very comfortable with shooting 3 points and that separates him from the other big man, I think he has a better shooting percentage than Lebron James, correct me if I'm wrong here but this guy was really aggressive from the start until the end of the game.

Is this your 2nd straight win for parlay bet? Happy win streak dude. Smiley

I like the new terms very much, is this applicable effective immediately, or starting the next week?
2923  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gigabet - legit or not? on: August 04, 2020, 07:08:43 AM
Been reading some reviews online but honestly I don't know if they are legitimate also I've found some old topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5206888.msg53587199#msg53587199 well the user is newbie and those words are meaningless without proofs and here's the response of their team not sure if this is their official account here in the forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5206888.msg53593910#msg53593910.

We're still not sure if they are legitimate or not. Does anyone tried the site already?

ya.ya.yo!

It only has one post, I also saw it as I made some research about the site in the forum, but no, they have no exposure in the forum, so I think that is not the official account of the site. To OP, if you are not sure about this site, try to stay away, there's still plenty of good sites listed their ANN thread in the forum where you can contact right away and if you have complain you can just post in their respective ANN thread.

8 months of operation or its length of operation does not say anything if you can't check on their reputation, so be careful.
2924  Economy / Gambling / Re: Advantages of White Label Crypto Casino on: August 04, 2020, 06:42:11 AM
Try to move this one into the gambling section - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0

It's quite interesting, I don't know this kind of business exist, are you a representative of  White Label Crypto Casino or you are just promoting it?
And can you answer queries about the business? as for sure a lot of posters would interested if this one is legit.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stolen money from Binance on: August 03, 2020, 11:22:03 PM
It's hard to recover your loss to be honest mate, unless Binance platform itself is the one that was compromise.
I don't know if you have secured your account well, if you put a 2FA security, I doubt one can hack your account, or if one can, at least it would not be easy.
My suspicion is that your email might be hack and your Binance password, so someone has gain access to your account and withdraw your money, I'm sure the site have the logs of your account, you can ask from them and investigate on your own.

Lastly, I like to say sorry for your lose, just be careful next time.
2926  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump has declared that he’ll ban Tiktok over privacy concerns!!! on: August 03, 2020, 09:59:31 PM
They should have ban it a long time ago... I believe the main reason was the competition against China, not really the app because they can't ban their own. Facebook leaked 419 million users data, this one should call for a ban..

https://www.forbes.com/sites/daveywinder/2019/09/05/facebook-security-snafu-exposes-419-million-user-phone-numbers/#93474121ab7f

There will be no more DOGE pump if Tiktok is gone for most of us.  Cheesy
2927  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 03, 2020, 09:41:28 PM
Tech are winning, as the other industries suffers from the effect of the covid-19, they are making profit as people now turns online either for entertainment or financial transaction. I believe the world will be back to normal but this situation has become a blessing in disguise to introduce the tech companies to people, and, also I believe crypto was also introduced as it's been bullish though the economy is pretty much banged up.
2928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid crisis & evolving phases on: August 03, 2020, 01:43:54 PM
An increase of demand for online payment system or digital currencies is happening, but that doesn't mean that paper money will be surpassed on its demand as even how successful the online world, majority are still using paper money for their daily needs. Yes, the world is evolving but it does not chance the norms, it's just giving us more option to transact our money for our convenience, and online currencies does not give convenience to all.
2929  Economy / Economics / Re: Brace yourselfs , the economic earthquake is coming ... on: August 03, 2020, 12:58:33 PM
That's red red wine everywhere, most of the countries I guess are in trouble because of the pandemic, and that big fall down of stocks alone is an evidence that unemployment rate will increase as the economy suffers. We can't do anything but to wait until the economy recovers, and just hope that we will survive in this probably long battle against an enemy that we can't see, we are not prepared for this and until now there's still no vaccine for the covid-19.

If you have some extra funds, better start doing business and not just rely on our job, at least with business, we know what to venture and  we can study the market we are going to enter, although we can say that the economy struggles, but there are industries who are still profitable, so invest on that industry.
2930  Economy / Economics / Re: Second Stimulus check - What are you going to do with it? on: August 03, 2020, 12:16:28 PM
It's an aid from the government but I would invest it rather in crypto than just save it in the bank waiting for inflation to hit its value. I have a job and business and I am earning well, so I guess that's just a bonus for me now, I know we have different answer as that is based on the individuals current situation, so if anyone lacks on their basic needs, they should use it according to its purpose.
2931  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do when Bitcoin reach$20k? on: August 03, 2020, 07:50:47 AM
We can't have the same idea here as we don't buy btc at the same rate, just do the right thing, before you buy bitcoin you believe that is a cheap price and you have plan to sell it at a specific price, so if it's your plan to sell it when bitcoin reach $20,000, then you should do it without hesitation.

I learn a lot in the past, I was greedy so I would not make the same mistake again, sell when you are in profit and don't worry, the market is volatile, if it will pump, it will surely dump again and you can start accumulating again.
2932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what did the author mean? on: August 02, 2020, 11:08:56 PM
The idea is good but I don't think it would still work on trading shitcoins. The author obviously refer to the trend in the last bull run where shitcoins also rise together with the legit coins, but this time, people are more matured, so we will not likely see the same scenario.

Like what "shitcoins" did rise alongside with the BTC pump?

Exactly, that's what we witnessed in the last bull run but I'm quite sure it's not likely to happen in the next.

What I don't get is, how to draw/code a bunch of MA's if those shitcoins didn't establish a good volume, even a bit, after all.

Maybe it's for "low cap coins" or something called along those lines?

Whales can make on their own, they can manipulate the price to invite traders then probably dump and get out when profit is made, but the question is, will it draw the attention of the traders when the market is bigger now and we have a lot of good coins to trade with legit volume. I think this experiment would fail if applied in the next bull run.

2934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Mobile Gaming on: August 02, 2020, 01:07:35 PM
Online gaming in general will become more popular in the future, mobile or pc, both will still be popular as users have different preferences, but in terms if buying online for your gaming, I guess bitcoin adoption is not yet big now, but I believe it will grow as there are already gamers that accepts bitcoin as a payment method. More online gamers accepts bitcoin, that would help increase bitcoin adoption, and this is just one portion of people who can use as we have online gamblers also who are already adopting with bitcoin as their payment method on betting.
2935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin prices are POPPING!! C'mon whales and market-makers, jack the prices!!! on: August 02, 2020, 12:04:55 PM
We are already in the 2nd half of the year, majority of the movement this year so far is bullish, so I believe that this year could be bullish as well and bitcoin might reach $15k or higher, keep holding if you still need to see a bigger price, bitcoin will rise and altcoins will not be left behind. It's been very stable lately, there's no sign of dump, bitcoin holding $10k strong and slowly it's pumping.

Today bitcoin hit $12k before it dump, so if it will hold, then we might see a pumped again, but always do the right timing, selling won't be hard if you see that the opportunity is coming, I still believe that the market will remain volatile.
2936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question about cryptoskull on: August 02, 2020, 11:44:19 AM
Honestly I am not familiar with the site so I made search, well, I see they have an ANN thread in the forum.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2851463.0

Here's the OP (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1777009), but there ANN thread is not anymore active, so your best to get a good answer is just to ask for the support, I think they'll reply since this site is legit according to review in their ANN thread.
2937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run Will Be ‘Dramatically Different’ on: July 31, 2020, 11:51:32 PM
If we talk about adoption, from 2017 to the present, I guess we can say that there's a lot of improvement already. D

DeFi was not their in 2017 as ICO was the favorites, but now it was hype and the market is currently bullish, and not only that, there's a lot more that would contribute for bitcoin to pump, however, it's also possible that bitcoin will not break its new ATH but we will be seeing a stronger market where price are more stable so it's less likely to see the same scenario in 2018 which is a consistent dump throughout the year.

The growth could be something that is slowly but surely, this wouldn't cause panic as more big investors are willing to hold and will not play on the price unlike what the whales are doing.
2938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Like to hear what crypto sportsbook you are using? on: July 31, 2020, 11:26:44 PM
So I compiled all your answers, these are the sites that people have been using here.

This will be added in the OP later, please let me know if there are sites mentioned I failed to add.

You should remove bitcoinrush from the list as they've been inactive for quite a while.
It was Danslip who shared about bitcoinrush.io/, I checked the site and they are already offline, checked the bitcointalk account and no red tag, maybe they exit properly unlike other site who do an exit scam. There ANN thread was created June 2013 and they were offline June 2020, so 7 years in operation but they still stop, even old sites may not be profitable too.

Also you forgot to include stake and betcoin in the list.
Great news for betcoin users, their signature campaign is back, maybe they want to market again in the forum, one of the longest running signature campaign in the past.

AFAIK, in OneHash, players or bettors dictate the odds unlike in  usual sportsbook where it's the line would move if there's too much action in one side.
That's called parimutuel betting, I think freebitcoin have the same system as well and I like the estimator so you could know what the odds would look like after the bet.

Still consider them as sportsbook?
2939  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Accurate Is The Bitcoin Market Capital? on: July 31, 2020, 10:34:31 PM
With all sorts of fake over-inflated trading volumes being sent to coinmarketcap.com and other websites, how accurate do you think the real value of Bitcoin actually is and what the real market capital of Bitcoin actually is?

I can't say 100%,  but whatever written in coinmarketcap.com are just numbers based on the exchanges that it puts as a basis.
We have p2p transcations or trading that was not included in coinmarketcap.com, so if we will estimate the volume of bitcoin, the figure written in coinmarketcap.com is understated, well, it's hard to compute the volume and amount of bitcoin flowing in and out from p2p trading so we won't have that data. Since coinmarketcap.com was acquired by Binance, I think they are more accurate now, so like I said, I won't say 100% accurate but at least we have some data where we can use as our basic to analyze the market.
2940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Working for 4 to 6 or 12 weeks even 6 month's, ending up unsatisfied on: July 28, 2020, 03:03:01 PM
You are not the first one I saw complaining about their effort getting wasted or unsatisfied with the reward they get after a long promotion of bounty. Please understand that crowd sale is not as popular as before, so even if projects promise a good reward of their token, it still depends on the outcome of the crowd sale, if the project fail, bounty hunters should not expect to get paid, that's the risk of working in a bounty.

Next move is move on.
