2921  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Prehistory on: May 10, 2019, 09:23:11 PM
It's the first time that I see the history of bitcoin and it's very satisfying because another knowledge has been added to my learnings. This is another start up for those who will try to learn bitcoin with me. I would like to include this on my presentation if someone needs my basic learnings.
2922  Economy / Economics / Re: Joseph Stiglitz: ‘We should shut down the cryptocurrencies’ on: May 10, 2019, 08:08:30 PM
I know that bitcoin has a lot of disadvantages but let look on the other side of it. Bitcoin has a lot of advantage and it's very essential to its user. Everything that is being invented by a man has a negative effect, even the devices you're using everyday to surf the internet has a disadvantage. There's no thing that has no negative effect, so I don't even take it seriously. Bitcoin helps me a lot for everyday life and financial problems in academic.

I don't like his mentality towards an advanced technology.
2923  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: can blockchain.com be hacked? on: May 10, 2019, 07:30:45 PM
can they be hacked

Anything on the internet can be hacked. Once you know what you're doing, hacking into company websites and computers is a cinch.

Are you sure with that?

You can't literally hacked all of the things in the internet thus you can collect information through bypassing a security. That's the reason why some of the social media accounts where being hacked but literally they're being hijacked and the information was being collected. Also, blockchain has an ultimate security, you can't easily hacked each wallet and control the transaction. The only thing you can do is decrypt but that's not very sure you can do it.
2924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New billionarie list if bitcoin exploded on: May 10, 2019, 06:59:49 PM
These are the people/company that buy bitcoin since 2009 especially Satoshi Nakamoto who developed the bitcoin itself. I feel that this 2019, the value of bitcoin will explode and might have another good profit. I think these people on the list will hold until it reaches the maximum value that it can get. There are also people that is obviously being anonymous that isn't in the list. Even the highest peak on 2017, they didn't sell any bitcoin is still hold the bitcoin, they know that the highest value on 2017 wasn't the maximum.
2925  Economy / Economics / Re: become rich by bitcoin. on: May 10, 2019, 05:44:03 PM
Yes, I'm very rich in knowledge in bitcoin and I really treasure that thing. I'm now 3 years in the bitcoin community and admit that I don't have any money that can be brag. I'm just earning a small amount of money through bounty hunting and spreading my knowledge here in the bitcoin community. Having a good discussions can become an intellectual person and will also make you rich person, a person who knows knowledge, one of the factor of success.

First of all, to answer your question I think you should read on the word "SUCCESS" from the English dictionary. Success isn't defined by how you made it but what you have made. Lemme ask you this: some people successfully pass exams but do you know how they do it? ....And by the way, Bitcoin is no fraud!!!

Agree to this, success wasn't defined on how money you got here in bitcoin community. I became rich in knowledge and have my first success when I reached Senior member rank by spreading good information and earning merits at the same time.
2926  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: May 10, 2019, 03:14:17 PM
Gold is a physical thing that can be seen and touch and for me it's considered as a valuable thing especially when someone give it to you. For me, people will get back and buy gold because you can mortgage some gold items to some luxury shop. Unlike in cryptocurrency, you can't see and touch it but it's also a very valuable thing that you must have. The cryptocurrency have an advantage of being hold and might have a great profit in the future. Gold is a precious thing and to be save for emergency or for the future but the cryptocurrency is for long-term investment.
2927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bill to Ban Buying All Cryptocurrencies on: May 10, 2019, 11:55:09 AM
The reason why they want to put a ban on cryptocurrency in some areas because of tax. Cryptocurrency transaction doesn't need any tax to send and receive any assets in the blockchain. It might appear that cryptocurrency transaction affects the economic rate of each country so they create a bill on it. Government are afraid because they don't know how to control bitcoin because it's a decentralized digital money. Well, in some cases, this bill will might help some but not that big, governments priority is their nation, they are scare to adopt this new technology.
2928  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin is going up again. on: May 09, 2019, 10:22:36 PM
I recently noticed this dramatically change of price of bitcoin this 2019. It looks like bitcoin will mark another in the history of cryptocurrency. I think there's a lot of people who holds their btc now  and its very lucky for them. As the article said, there are two possibilities that might come up this 2019 and obviously it will rise up.

2929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 09, 2019, 09:30:26 PM
Blockchain is definitely A SOLUTION to many problems in many different industries. From agriculture to aviation!!! Check this interesting article out:

https://cryptotradernews.com/technology/14-tech-innovations-that-could-revolutionize-the-blockchain-industry/

When I saw "agriculture", I literally amazed about blockchain even I know that blockchain is a really a part of our modern technology. I read the article and it looks like blockchain was a good starter for a better living. Blockchain was similar to IoT projects, can have a p2p system where we can control and optimize each thing. Improving supply quality through blockchain was a wonderful idea.
2930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 09, 2019, 08:48:53 PM
I have safe storage of my keys and I'm the only one who can open it. As long as it's not being uploaded or sent into the internet, your keys will be safe 100%. Keys are treated to be your valuable things so I think it shouldn't be in the hard drive of your computer because when your pc get compromised by a random hacker, it might get your keys too. If it's in safe storage or personal storage, no one can easily get those keys or decrypt it because they have no accessed to it as long as you're not trying to input your personal storage to your computer.
2931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain technology is changing the world on: May 09, 2019, 04:44:05 PM
Actually, I'm doing a bunch of research about how does blockchain will help our world. Blockchain is one of the modern technology that we should learn about because it has a massive innovation to create it. People need to be innovative because there's a lot of factors in our world to consider, there's a lot of consequences on each action we do. Blockchain has a good network where transactions happen with details, this knowledge has the ability to be decentralized also.

Advantages of blockchain were spreading right now and I think people will get used to it someday.
2932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? Solved! on: May 09, 2019, 04:08:57 PM
Just chill and wait for the revelation of the real Satoshi Nakamoto. It has a great effect if he reveals him/herself but that's not an issue now. We must focus on how we should make blockchain as a center of our technology now. Our community is big but don't have any innovative research about the current technology. If I have the ability to build something, me as a member of this bitcoin community, I will help to develop the blockchain because it's the future of modern technology. Don't focus on Satoshi Nakamoto, I think he will not show his/her true identity.
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto - Can We Find Him ? on: May 09, 2019, 03:28:15 PM
- Would it make any difference if Satoshi showed up?

I disagree, there's a big factor if the developer of the bitcoin showed up because there will be another assurance that bitcoin was a legitimate value. Satoshi's appearance will make a great impact on modern technology and bitcoin will be known to all part of the world. Many investors will support bitcoin because the developer was existing and you can make a negotiation with him.

- Would it be that the community would obey Satoshi's orders on what path bitcoin should follow?

Nope, because Satoshi knows that he can control the community with the use of bitcoin. He/she doesn't need orders for us to follow, we will automatically follow if we see bitcoin as a good thing.
2934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: May 09, 2019, 12:49:56 PM
That's the problem here, being irreversible is not a good thing.

For my experience;
I have a lot of mistakes when having a transaction, especially when selling some assets from a different decentralized exchange. I mistakenly sent it to a wrong address and my assets can't be retrieved. There's a lot of money waiting for me but was gone for an instant.

The only advantage of it was when I'm receiving the assets and can't be brought back to the project owner.
2935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain technology is changing the world on: May 09, 2019, 11:33:24 AM
Agree with your knowledge about blockchain technology. It looks like bitcoin was the key for other innovative research for the better of our technology. Blockchain was a wonderful piece of technology that might give us a good way to face our future. Bitcoin has the potential and so as the other assets of cryptocurrency.

....But there are a number of problems that need to be solved...

Yes, there's a lot of factors to considered to make blockchain as a helpful tool but I really think blockchain will get through that problems.
2936  Other / Off-topic / Any research you can suggest to me? (About agriculture) on: May 07, 2019, 01:42:05 PM
Hi, I'm back again.

I just want to ask again any research ideas that can be done by students. Research that can help agricultural or environmental through IoT and Microprocessors. By the way, I'm in the field of Electronics-related course and thinking about a problem that can be solved by electronics.

I'm capable of MATLab (Image Processing) and Arduino (Microcontrollers) or any programming languages that are being studied by an electronics-related course. My priority is about helping the aquaculture like devices that cultivates microalgae to be fed on fishes for better growth, that's one of the examples.
2937  Other / Meta / Re: This altcoin is trying to trade merits ? Will theymos allow this ? on: May 05, 2019, 02:48:34 AM
from the original post;
Yes, if you are a hero member here and having some 550 merits then you are entitled to have 550 cbux1 tokens which are worth of $550. Balances after distribution will be burnt to ensure decentralization.

They're just requiring a specific amount of merits that is exclusive to hero members. I think the project is too shady, how can you give a bunch of money to those people who have just earned at least 50 merits (if they have a 500 airdropped merits). After the distribution, they will just give another bunch of money to some members here, do you think it's possible? nah.

It will just urge again some beginners to earn merits and do such things like merit abuse because there are no requirements at all, just merits.
2938  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: May 05, 2019, 02:17:05 AM
What makes a good investor is the availability of adequate knowledge in crypto and the ability to harness such knowledge to yield profit and other positive results for the entire crypto space. Good investors promote crypto and do not concern only with making a profit.
Agree to that, knowledge is the best thing that we must cherish because it's our foundation to have success on what we want to be. If a person is only focusing on how you'll get profit, maybe there's a chance that you will fail. Sometimes you also need to be economic wise to be able to face any circumstances regarding your investment.
2939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Still Viable? on: May 05, 2019, 01:39:54 AM
It depends on the location of your area because it has a lot of factors to consider. The main factor when having a bitcoin mining is the cost of the power consumed by the GPU or your system. Actually, in our country, Bitcoin mining was not very essential as of now because our power cost was very expensive because our government sells the Meralco (power line in the Philippines) to a private sector, that's why we're paying an expensive price of power. Maybe it can be more profitable if you use a lot of miners and a source of solar panel generated to minimize the power consumption in the power line.
2940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: May 05, 2019, 01:00:16 AM
Yes, I will still engage those non-bitcoiners to be part of our community because I know it will be more essential to them to learn about bitcoin. I have a lot of people that I teach about bitcoin and I'm not bothering to teach them again if they want to. All of those people that will show interest in bitcoin, I will give them the idea and knowledge that they need. Definitely, only the basic ones they should learn and the rest is by exploring the community.
