This project is getting powned by komodo and ark.

Come on get a move on this should have been out months ago.

Also you need to get this on up and coming exchanges binanace et all

We're just hit a high of $38, need some dips so I can accumulate more Cheesy I'm fairly confident we'll hit $100+ in the next months.

It is worth $1000 or greater if they get their asses moving.

BTW keep discussions of blocknet going here it is free advertising for the project in a good way

2930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 21, 2017, 12:26:50 PM
The Dev should consider using some sort of proof of individuality ( like confirming a telephone number ...etc) to distribute some of the coins it will be more efficient method and it will reach out to a lot more people than the cash back program.

Why?

It would be way more beneficial to everyone if airdrops finished for good. That money would be better spent on dev, mkt and other productive stuff, plus people waiting for future airdrops means LESS people actually BUYING.

It is way better if price does x10 due to that actions than if we all double our stash via airdrop but the price stalls (or even dumps right afterwards).

Not knowing how the remaining coins are going to be distributed cause a lot of uncertainty. Investors hate uncertainty.

The entire distribution model was a disaster of cataclysmic proportions and still is.

Rip that band aid off now and just BURN the rest of the coins.

Burn them into the abyss keeping a very small proportion to fund developments and watch the price increase nicely.

Even better fork it and null the known other ico bb wallets and burn those too.

They had a cheek claiming them anyway.

Nobody will even talk about it after a couple of weeks and any icos complaining will look like complaining scabs anyway.

Just do it, i mean we went back on the full moon distributions and pissed off real investors I couldnt care less about upsetting other greedy ICO managers.

That's what i'd suggest from here on.

I concur

I wonder if the chances of tony listening are 0.000000000001% or smaller

What news about blockchain fork that was planned for 11'2017?

already happened the pos is fixed to 20 per block now

Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it.

Is it necessary sync from strach or not?  I am getting only orphans (20 per block) on old chain.

I deleted everything except wallet.dat and started again - took about 9 hours to sync up fully again.

I was talking with few friends/family of mine, and they were like: " ...Ohh yea im holding 100k of Siacoin, and im waiting to get to $1 and sell it..." Made me laugh big time  Grin Grin
The buy cheap coins mindset that i've seen from people, are people who have been involved in any way with stocks or other markets, and just now get in to crypto, because of the hype all the media outlets have been pumping about bitcoin, and think the same rules apply here as well.

P.S Great post. (Y)

Thanks, yes it is quite surprising just how many persons employ this reasoning.
2936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 21, 2017, 03:11:02 AM
I think binance would be great exchange to put bytes on. Not to pump the price (would ‘t be bad anyway), but to diversify and bring bytes closer to huge amount of people (2mio of users). Think about it...
Binance coin application: https://goo.gl/forms/rm4JuOPOxYq2xGTQ2
https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000822512-Listing-a-Coin-on-Binance-com

agreed a good use of bytes is to use them to get on there.

Just wanted to say a public thanks to those guys that offered ideas and help with the website ideas.

If we get things rolling I would love to see the community funds (7.9B for public use and 1 B for our dev) stake  the 7.9 B and with the coins produced we can use this continuous income for really rewarding those that are really helpful and a credit to beecoin.

Now I know some are hoping we can bring this back so they can dump their bags and leave. That is fair enough that is their right to do so. However I hope most of us will stick around and really help demonstrate we together can take "the fairest ever POW launch coin" and build a great community and codebase over tme around it.

We should not seek to reward those who do not help and just want to make money from pump and dumps. We should reward those that give their time and indeed effort to beecoin and those with proven loyalty to the project. I would love to see BEE become a long term project growing in both technical areas but even more so in its community. The community makes the coin. BTC isn't the coin with the best tech is it? no is not. However it has the largest following and active community.

I know we all got fucked over here with beecoin - I am shocked any of us are still here to be honest i mean we have been lead around in circles for years. Shame because it really was a fair start and sadly in part this is the reason for failure. The dev who launched it had no chance to gain any real share in the coin so had no motivation to develop it further. Then the rest as you know is history.

Once we get a new codebase and we get on our feet we must work together to bring beecoins community back here and build upon it.

We will (or i would like to if the community agrees) bring a new thread with new road map and a solid way for any persons here to earn a bee wage for weekly tasks that are beneficial to beecoin and its community)

I know many of you will become a lot more active once you see a new code base is ready and this will bring back many who are now focusing on other projects.

Keep BEElieving ...... I just love the bee project name it can be used for so many things.

that is a great idea to fund it like that .
how many people are into this ?
how many people are willing too do this ?
i am just a small fish with bee but I am happy too donate the half of mine.
2.5m

and I like the progress what I see.

Hey well thanks for that. I'm glad you like the idea.
Also no donations will be needed because we have the entire community fund.
Just the staking from that should generate enough to pay the bee wages... or if not and we get lots of people wanting bee wages then we can eat into some of that so long as the task they are doing are bring value and recognition to bee

I will also work to get the new code base listed on some exchanges.
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: December 21, 2017, 01:00:22 AM
In last two weeks of this year Doge looks very healthy and good at its current market position. There was some kind of retrace in some markets but Doge went through some small correction and saw few people taking profit. We can see anything once we are there in new year to see how good that becomes for Doge and its holders.

Actually the past few weeks doge as made its climb up nothing big but steady you right in the new year anything can happen and I'm expecting lift off

why am i still mining this dogshit??  Cry  anyone?

doge is going back to 100 or more i think

please, don't be childish... I have explained to you that we can ask the community. What do you expect from me now? Am I to blame nothing moved in the last months re burning the coins? I mentioned my idea and you always made it look stupid and ridicouls. so .... tell me more please.

We have asked the community for help and nobody is willing to help, now we are asking for help again. Our plan to burn the coins failed due to the burn command not working and we have been unable to find someone to fix it. Burning coins completely hasn't been done so of course it will be hard to do.

If nobody wants to help then we can easily start making decisions to suit our needs instead of yours. The easiest way for us to be done with these remaining swap coins, and what I want to do, is to delete the wallet.dat and the coins will be forever gone. Instead, we are still here after many months trying to move forward.

Our past effort has failed, so now we are trying something new. If our new method fails then so will this coin so people can either get with the program or move on. I'm not going to keep investing my time and my money into the future of this coin if all we are going to catch is bullshit.

Ways for people to help,

1. Promote HYPER on social media and forum outlets, exposure is our biggest problem.

2.Ask around to see if any developers would be willing to contract work for HYPER, things such as the completion of the new themed wallet, burn command, and other stuff.

3. Work together and not expect 2 people to do 100% of the work for hundreds of people.

deleting the wallet.dat is not going to work

nobody will believe it was deleted

its simple stake the wallet and the staked coins can be the development funding.

put the wallet addresss public and make everything transparent.

or contact some devs who will make this coin remotely interesting from a tech standpoint and give them the coins over time for continued support.

presstab, fuzzballs any developer that will cut this crazy pos rate and introduce some masternodes anon etc...

shame this coin died out started off really nice.
