I do not think anyone who is watching the space can say the hype is over!

I still think this is another ICO where people can pump and dump but unlike ICOs where people really had no reason to speculate after dumping at least with defi you sort of need long-term periods to stake and farm so it may last a little longer than ICO season!
2922  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next big news? on: April 08, 2021, 01:15:33 PM
Btc is hovering between $56k to $58k, it needs some more good news to cross this $60 mark.
After PayPal, which next business giant is going to endorse Bitcoin?
What should we expect in coming days that can push btc to more adoption and expedite it's March towards $1 million?

It does not need good news, Bitcoin is not an altcoin that needs hype. Just wait for demand to come naturally and wait for institutions to prepare all their capital to buy BTC and you will see it rise up very very naturally:)

All is normal and all is good. Better a slow rise.
2923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: April 08, 2021, 11:39:40 AM
Why not? The same was asked about Binance when he conducted one IEO after another. The same thing is happening now with Polkastarter.
IDO for IDO giving big Xs to all investors, this is a truly golden age of investment for cryptocurrencies. No other market is growing so rapidly. Obviously, if Binance coped with its long-term task, then Polka can.

True enough. And when Binance IEO Launchpad projects started to fail and lose even from Day 0 of listing,,, they simply just stopped talking a lot about it and started taking less projects,,, then made their own other products like BSC and now derivatives.

Polka can copy this strategy and take advantage while it lasts.
2924  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 08, 2021, 11:06:53 AM
While Real Madrid - Liverpool left many bets spinning on their heads, I swiped a nice win yesterday with BTTS + Mo Salah to score @3.03x.

I'm going to try to do the same thing today and take Bayern to lead in both halves with Mbappé to score @8.49x. Lewandowski's out and also some other players but then again Real hammered us even without Ramos and Varane in the backline, so maybe they can still power through too.

I also have Bayern to win @1.94x.

You did a wonderful bet there,,, I think a lot of people bet on BTTS but you found a Salah marker there and I think that is almost a guaranteed bet for the past 3/4 seasons that guy is so NOT a one-season wonder! I remember people said the same about Harry Kane a long time ago but now we all know, class is permanent:)

Sorry about your Bayern bet though;)
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A Big Secret of PANCAKESWAP (CAKE) Coin (Speculation of CAKE coin!) on: April 08, 2021, 09:56:17 AM
PANCAKE now is worth $18.25 surpassed their ATH before when it was $16. Did you guys have bought the dip or still HODL until now?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pancakeswap/

Well CAKE was trading around $18 too many times, but it was up and down until now

Now it is above $20 but I think the ongoing battle event is what is really pushing the price for CAKE up because people are buying it up to farm more and win more in the battle.

At this rate maybe CAKE goes to $100 before the crypto rally end?
2926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 08, 2021, 09:19:54 AM
The problem with Ethereum will be resolved with ETH 2.0. However, nowadays many people are also interested in the Binance Smart Chain. The case for Ethereum has been successfully completed by the Binance Smart Chain. both of them are currently in high demand. the spike in transactions at the BSC is proof that the interest of investors and users is quite high. both of them in the near future will dominate investments made by people because they already have faith

We are not sure yet ETH 2.0 will solve the problems, but yes,,, most likely POS will solve scalability but at the cost of security, who knows. We will not know until people are using it for a year without issues.

Binance Smart Chain is a hype platform that looks clean and good now. But are the quality of devs as good?
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 08, 2021, 07:47:41 AM
I'm still waiting for Adama Traore to score a goal this season. Amazing really, with that speed and strength - 0 goals in over 2000 league minutes.

Just 2 assists as well, so a goal contribution every 1000 minutes - 1 in 11 games. I really don't understand why is he still playing in their first 11 and how is it possible that he's worth like 50 mil.€.

A few matches ago he had zero assists as well,,, the 2 ones only came in the past few matches. I know contributions are much more than that but he really has to do better at least in Europe where they were challenging at some point. Not his fault he was hyped a lot though, he was super last season:)
2928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can anybody explain why XRP is pumping? on: April 08, 2021, 07:02:23 AM
I think there is a lot of people that are surprised by the performance that we are seeing in ripple at the moment, people are trying to figure out why this coin that seemingly no one cares about was able to go up in value so quickly, and to be honest I don't really find a reason for it but for traders that doesn't matter, what matters is that the coin was going up and if they were clever they obtained some good gains out of this exercise.

Yes,,, like we were saying above, we ourselves are taken aback by a coin that can pump so hard to $1 with nothing at all to back it up. We are talking about a coin that only managed 70 cents when there was nothing but good news. And now after all the 2021 problems even it can pump. This is to me clearly the most manipulated alt.

Sometime clear all cookies and then force refresh, or visit another page inside and make picks from there,,, I find just adding picks for all the weeks ahead is better, since you can always change them as the week approaches anyway.
I use Tor connection for that reason I may get slow response from their server. Sometimes its so slow that I feel helpless. So making picks early is very handy for me. I do change my picks when I feel to make any change but again it needs this battle of waiting for the site to be loaded LOL

By the way, yesterday unfortunately Liverpool lost by 3 - 1 in the first leg of CL. Hope in the 2nd leg we have a good run in Anfield.

I can suggest to use VPN instead of TOR as that is usually way way faster. I connect automatically through VPN from my connection (it is normal in work place not to use direct for security) and I notice only a very slight difference from using data on mobile.

Anfield is not going to be the same I thought Liverpool would win away and lose at home as they are doing all season long,,, maybe for European action it is the other way around.
2930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not hide your hard feelings about trading; share the experiences on: April 08, 2021, 05:17:33 AM
Obviously, when talking about trading there are times when you lose some and times when you win some. It is the nature of trading, but when losing what's important is to not give up there... Try to get up and try again, this time smarter and armed with more knowledge than before. I found that only this way you can improve and find the courage to HODL even during tough times.

Just like when gambling,,, just like when investing, right? If it is too good to be true (that you will never lose or you will always be guaranteed profit) then it is probably not true.

I sort of disagree about giving up though. I think some people will never be good traders no matter what. Should give up if they tried very hard and still cannot make profit. Find something else that does:)
2931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can anybody explain why XRP is pumping? on: April 07, 2021, 02:58:40 PM
Shitcoin or not,,, they have proven time and again they have a unique ability to pump and I guess for many experienced speculators,,, this is the perfect coin. Buy when they are down and in trouble, sell when everything seems rosy. I still cannot believe it actually is at $1 today when there is super nothing to do with this coin. Who on earth uses it and yet is willing to pay this price for it?

Dumbing down XRP.
2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Ultraman NFT will launch airdrop campaign in April on: April 07, 2021, 01:00:38 PM
Is this officially made together with the actual franchise of Ultraman? I have loads of memories about Ultraman,,, even before it became modernized our people at home were watching the old tapes from our uncles. All not even dubbed just the original Japanese so nobody knew what was going one except monsters are going to be killed:) Worth buying?
2933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ADA Scam sites are unstopable? on: April 07, 2021, 10:48:51 AM
I agree with people above. There is no way of stopping scams. It is not just crypto and it definitely is not just ADA. There are Bitcoin scams and US dollar scams probably even more of those.

Keep reporting the scams like we do on this forum. And keep educating yourself. There is no other way in the end.
2934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: April 07, 2021, 10:02:32 AM
I pity whoever lives in a country with a government that actually would support crypto trading to create jobs! I mean, most govts out there are actually actively trying to prevent their citizens from getting into trouble with scams and losses. We all know majority of retail traders lose money, why make it even worse for people with no jobs?

Get them into financial services maybe, but god no not trading!
2935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the price of BNB will go above $ 300? on: April 07, 2021, 08:53:25 AM
Right time, the price of bnb already reached 400$ and it could go more higher than this because of TKO and burn coin in this april. Looks like bnb could go more higher than this, my target is above 1k$ in the next few years.

It really really looks like it is not going to drop anytime soon this BNB,,, plus Pancakeswap now is having the first trading battle for one week with BNB pairs I really cannot see the things dropping down soon any time.

$1k possible in NEXT rally, for sure not this year! Unless Binance surprises us again.

Thank you for the reminder jeremypwrs! Putting in my picks;)

An average round for me with 9.5 points. It's hard to get a correct score for me or 6 correct picks out of 10 were not that bad. Next round is starting in three days. Make sure you have your picks ready just incase the slow loading superbru do not mess with you before the kick off.

Sometime clear all cookies and then force refresh, or visit another page inside and make picks from there,,, I find just adding picks for all the weeks ahead is better, since you can always change them as the week approaches anyway.
2938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 07, 2021, 06:55:17 AM
I would think gold would be less since the amount given to platinum & diamond players are more, even though not as many given out to different players.
But I don't know, I just glanced over the prizes given out as I knew I wouldn't have a chance unless I got up to a higher tier in my level.
So I counted myself out from the very start. Embarrassed

Steve has mentioned how many people who were invited the vip chat area called clubtalk and the numbers didnt seem as high I thought they would have been.
But with more promotions and more people knowing there is an area available now where we as bettors can gather together to swap matches in which we think there is value on betting on a certain market, then those numbers will only grow from now here on in. Wink

I visited club talk a few times already and it does look like it is active but not as many as I initially thought too,,, but on the other hand if the room is full of people I wonder how you could manage it unless you have different rooms for football/tennis/cricket etc.

I guess we wait until it is full for that to happen. Like ETH 2.0 when network capacity is max;)
2939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 07, 2021, 06:15:37 AM
I am not surprised at all to see Spurs is almost bottom of the list,,, we are not so high up the table and in points we have been dropping the most after taking a lead,,, very demoralizing to the team and supporters when we can score yet cannot keep 3 points. Surprising is to see Newcastle last when they are not in relegation zone?
2940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 06, 2021, 02:17:05 PM
Watched the raffle today and here is some data just so you know what you are up against.
Those are some interesting numbers, that means gold tier has the least chances of winning (~5.5%) since it has the most users and the least number of prizes while the other four gives you better chances of winning as it has more prizes and significantly small number of users.

Anyway at least we got rohang snagging one of the prizes and it'll be interesting to see if the total would go up or down in the upcoming months.

Wait, so actually GOLD has the most users? That is very strange for me to learn I would think Bronze and Silver are the ones with the biggest population of people,,, but I guess in a month most active users wager a lot of money. Does the 5.5% chance count all the prizes divided by all the players?

The numbers seem to say GOLD is best because more prizes there,,,
