What a disappointment. I'm not even tempted to buy at these prices.
Bitmain, there's lots of us waiting for your prices to make sense. Hurry up and find a reasonable price point.
To everyone else, stop paying these outrageous prices. Seriously. You're only enabling Bitmain to keep gouging.
They are not selling a ton of them. I actually like this pricing and hope they do not budge much at all. I think this is their best move keep the prices sky fucking high and slowly fill their hash nest with s-9's. I would love to see batch 12 in august still be over 1700 usd. lol you like the pricing becuase why ? they are selling hardware that may never ROI whats not to like haha Because high prices like these make my batch 1 value stable. I can list and sell them for 1900 right now as I type. My hope is since bitmaintech is monopoly wise king that they stall sales via high price. They have zero need to rush as of today. Soooo the wise guys that purchased batches 1 and 2 will be the winners. Bitmaintech can make growth in difficulty fully stall.. where are you located at? May be someone near you can pick it up directly. Your price seems a little more than original new ones on newegg?
I got 2 units from newer and I was taxed in New Jersey I was happy to get one from Kilo17 at 265 which is about six bucks more then I paid for it from newegg. It is really hard to find a card without a 30 - 100 dollar markup. BTW my card should come today in the mail 1 day early yeah usps! I will soon have a three sapphire rig it has room for 4 cards. It would be fun if I could find a diamond gpu. (they do exist) ding dong wow the mail man rang the bell as I typed this ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

The ohmmmmmm chant is one of the many secret weapons used by kano to deliver blocks to his miners. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) The flowing chant of ommmmm is only to be used on very special occasions which so far I have not had to deploy for kano's miners. Right now the blockheads have banged out 1 block in 3 hours which is decent.

I don't like the idea of chanting Ohm because it's a measure of resistance, which means heat and is not conducive to mining.
How about we chant Ammppppp instead?

I really appreciate all the help. It's proving to be usefull. Im not trying to be bitchy, but I still don't find where in the documentation is shows the association of the 12V3/4/5/6 to the physical connectors.
RED connectors:
B=12v3 C=12v4 F=12v6 A=12v3 D=12v5 E=12v5
or
A+B=30A D+E=30A C=30A F=30A
I wouild really like to confirm this association of the rails to the physical connectors. From what I can tell, this has been passed down from generation to generation over the passage of time, but I cant find it specifically spelled out in any documentation from the vendor.
Im just a bit nervous about blowing something up and costing lots of money. I would like to have the doc which spells this out.
I found documentation that the six red plugs use 4 x 30 amp rails but no photo of a pinout. So return the gear or email lepa and ask for a pinout or trust that the info here is correct by the way the info wrong should not kill the psu it should just shut it down. works for me ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FpJpJ6H7.png&t=663&c=jMwBGdl55U_dfA)

Can't you just cut the duct into 2 pieces and attach to each end? Putting the miner instead could cause a large short since it looks like that material might conduct, or it might go on fire.
yes he can do that Psu V ____________ V ____________ V V out<<< Miner--Pcie----Miner <<<<in ___________ ____________ Above would be fully cut tube 1 miner he may find two tubes work first tube 3 feet second tube 6 feet both tubes go over the miner up to the pcie wires. I have done all those methods along with an small down clock of freq and dropping fans to 40 or 50 %

I don't think it would matter, but I could be wrong. The only difference I think aftermarket cards has is just the heatsink/fans/cooling method (so better overclocking abilities). But with my underclock/undervolt settings, the reference cooler is already keeping it cool even in a hot garage style and I'm not trying to overclock.
I believe the reason why most people would want the aftermarket cards is just for better cooling and overclocking ability and overclocking=more power usage. So since my main goal is to reduce power usage and since I'm running on 110v, I can fit 2 rigs on 1 outlet without tripping the circuit breakers.
Our residential home has a 15amp circuit breaker, so if I overclock for maximum hashrate, it could run to around 1000 watts per rig. And if I place 2 rigs on 1 outlet, it would definitely trip the circuit breaker since it would be 2000+ watts.
that is the reason I buy cheap XFX R9 390 cards and under volt and under clock to get the best efficiency. I heard that 390 is power hungry and is still using lots of power even when underlocked and undervolted (which many cards cannot even do? - is XFX an exception? In ethos i did not find a way to undervolt my VTX3D 390...)... which settings do you use, and what is the power usage you are seeing per card/rig? To remain on the rx480 topic... I managed to get down to 890W usage for a whole rig with 6 cards... getting 25MH per card, and my wattman settings are simple just -20% core clock (memory at 2000). I tried boosting memory to 2250, where cards produce 27,5MH.... but this rises power usage for the whole rig to 1100W. This is 210W more (or 35W per card) which i think is too much (+ less stable, + have problems removing the heat)... yeah for now I am just using wattman on my 480's with -23% I do 24.5mh with a little less power then you. I did try more aggressive settings of pikachuy for undervolt and for memory and got low not as low as him but pretty good. 270 watts 2 card setup 23.5mh I went for more and crashed the system and I can not get back into wattman to change the settings. This is okay as I have 6 pc's ready for 480 cards so I moved the cards to another system and I will try to figure out why the wattman files come back after I delete all amd 16.7.1 and installed it back. I thought this would reset the wattman settings but it does not. So there must be a file outside of 16.7.1 that holds on to the wattman settings. So if you or anyone sets voltages to low and can't run the system you may not be able to clear the wattman settings very easily.

Re XFX cards, are these 1288 or 1328 mhz cards? Both have backplates. The ones that are 1288 have RX480M8BFA6 model number and those that are 1328 are RX-480M8BFA6, notice the dash. Please post or PM.
I will check and let you know shortly, I know some are the 1328 but not sure how many are 1328 Waiting patiently for the post office to send me the sapphire. 480 Once I get it working I may buy more of the sapphires.

I dont know if I have enough post but wanted to pick anyway.
If you let me and my pick wins just give me half and roll over the rest for next pick since i might not even be qualified to play this time
I can't do it since someone else may want the pick. You are ½ qualified since you joined in Feb. 2016 Post around a bit more and you will be fully qualified. (30 posts needed) I just read your posts they have the look and feel of a real miner not a scammer.
