These bankers just wish they could keep the game going just as it is right now so they can continue fleecing people and companies that are trying to move money around. Either start using bitcoin related tech or lose many profits as bitcoin leaves them behind.

This quite similar to what that security Bittiraha just unveiled this last week. This might even be an article about a spinoff company of theirs, not sure.

Makes sense considering there are a lot more options to allow someone to live more of their life on bitcoin plus this bear market makes it easier for people to part w/ more of their coins. I'd venture to say that many more investment seekers are entering the market as we speak and especially in the future when the Winkles get their operations up and running.

Pretty much what xhomer posted however, I find it very interesting that a person purchased thousands of dollars of something some time back yet didn't pay enough attention to it until now. I'm not buying this, sorry.

How exactly are you valuating the shares?
Do you have proof of past share pay outs?
Kind of what I was wondering. The projections look really good but you know how things are in this subforum and what the past has brought. That's all I'm saying.

Looking forward to seeing this video after its complete. Nice looking office by the way, what floor are yall on just out of curiosity? Been out of pocket recently but can confirm that dividends were paid as usual last month. For the onlookers that have been scoping this security out, it's interesting to see that Nic Cary from Blockchain.info is an investor which leads tons of cred to CVFS's operation. Looking good, fellas!

I'm not a big fan in flying in small sized aircraft since it seems that historically, many more accidents occur. Likely, because these pilots have a lot less experience than the normal pilots we tend to think of.

I'm sure most men wouldn't mind being groped by hot women but most wouldn't want wood in front of other passengers. This line of work attracts the types that would take advantage of the situation much like child care work draws in those that want easier access to children. This is hardly an absolute by any means, however.
2950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rex Huppke: Fringe Conservatives a Clinton Asset on: April 15, 2015, 05:40:17 PM
The NRA is nothing more than a hunting and pro-police gun club that does nothing to repeal existing gun laws. They also give A ratings to establishment republicans which fools single issue voters into supporting more of the same crappy republicans all the while overlooking the true libertarian republicans and conservatives that actually not only fight upcoming gun control legislation but also seek to repeal much of the current gun laws. Gun groups like Gun Owners of America and The National Association for Gun Rights are the best gun groups there are and they don't fleece their members just to support Bush type republicans.

As things are, people are tired of democrats and their demise into Obama socialism that is making things worse for middle class families all over the country. I do agree that republicans need to steer away from the social conservatives since the country is miles away from anti-gay and anti-abortion fringe nonsense even tho I'm personally against abortion under normal circumstances. The media poses these gotcha type questions like under what circumstances does a candidate give the ok for abortion and then make a shitshow after that. The key is, don't give the media too much outlier talk so they can demagogue and hang one with it. Also, most americans don't want a preacher type in the white house.
2951  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So this is what Society has become.. on: April 15, 2015, 05:32:00 PM
Regarding humans having freedom of any kind, some will always push the envelope and veer off to the fringes creating abnormal niches that other weird people flock to or observe from a distance. As long as people don't lie, cheat, steal or kill, I have no concern what they do.
2952  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why so hard to fire people? stupidity or insanity. Unjited Shit of America on: April 15, 2015, 05:29:35 PM
Way too far gone; America's a falling rock at this point.  This is what happens when a culture is centered around vote-buying--cough, I mean democracy.  The end result is always the majority of naive idiots voting themselves into prosperity, but all it does is make life increasingly harder for everyone else until you segue into some stupid political system like communism, where people completely exit the market and try to live off politics.  As it turns out, you can't eat a political preference.
Tell us, what is your objectively better alternative to democracy for a country?
Democracies always go down hill when the population realizes or are corralled into thinking they can vote themselves the property of others and this is why democracies aren't congruent with individual rights. You don't have a right to life and all of its corrollaries if the majority can make them null and void and extract from or deprive any of them from you. The USA was formed (after a violent secession from Britain) as a constitutionally-limited republic but unfortunately, words on paper don't bind anyone when the government/politicians became systematically used by corporate interests to line their pockets all the while a massive welfare state has been propped up creating permanent classes of destitute parasites that feed off of the productive. And, the bankers ripped this economy up and killed the job market thus forcing more formerly productive people onto the entitlement system. At this point, barring a total free market w/o governments it's likely that only a benevolent monarch would be beneficial at this point. This way, as long as the monarch is set up nicely, he or she doesn't have to have all these special interests propping them up. Fantasy I know.

What really stands out to me is how all these media heads feel they're part of the Clinton family and thus rally around said family in the face of whatever comes their way. They're like blind, rabid dogs that think the ends justify the means - and it all starts at the top.
2954  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin Advertisement on Times Square New York City USA on: April 15, 2015, 05:16:49 PM
If true, that's a lot of exposure as millions come and go throughout that city everyday. Could be a premonition to wall streeters to get their ducks in order and/or a call to arms but either way, I'm thoroughly enthusiastic about this.

Tech Wars: Rand Paul Digital Strategist Trolls Team Rubio After Website Crashes

As Sen. Marco Rubio announced his run for president last night — asking voters to visit marcorubio.com — his digital team was frantically trying to keep the website up.

In the tech world, it’s a critical mistake, calling into question the viability of a candidate’s digital strategy, especially for a candidate who claims to be running a campaign for the future.

The digital train wreck was too much for Rand Paul’s digital strategist to resist, tweeting out a screenshot of the website failure.

Here's an online poll that anyone can vote for their candidate of choice. Back in the pre-season of the '08 primary elections, we used to game these online polls to show that Ron Paul had a lot of grassroots support to generate a buzz and media attention for him and this was kinda fun at the same time cause it irritated the supporters of other candidates that were told that Ron was such a terrible candidate for prez. Anyways, I'll periodically post these polls just so people around here can participate if they want. I won't post obscure website polls, just the more mainstream ones that will get some attention. Also, I won't link it cause I don't want the poll's operators accusing anyone of gaming it as in leaving an online trail if ya know what I mean.

Rand Paul Pros and Cons by Chuck Baldwin

Pros:

*He is his father’s son

In my opinion, Ron Paul is the greatest U.S. congressman in our country’s history. While we have had several outstanding U.S. House members, no one can match Ron’s incredible record. Without a doubt, Ron Paul is the U.S. House of Representatives’ most preeminent champion of liberty. And you know the old saying: the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I believe that is certainly true with Ron’s son, Rand.

And you can believe that establishment Republicans in Washington, D.C., believe that, too. As soon as Rand announced his candidacy, neocons such as Senator Lindsey Graham began their attacks against him. Graham went so far as to say that Rand Paul’s foreign policy is worse than Hillary Clinton’s. (That’s because Graham and Clinton are both warmongers, and Rand isn’t.) Rest assured, the GOP establishment will spend the entire primary season trying to make sure that Rand Paul does not receive the Republican nomination.

*Rand’s foreign policy

This is where Rand Paul shines. Like his dad, Rand believes in a constitutional foreign policy. He is opposed to America’s foreign wars of aggression. He is opposed to America’s preemptive war doctrine instituted by G.W. Bush. He is opposed to the Warfare State and all of the entangling alliances that go along with it. In fact, Rand Paul is the ONLY candidate for President from either the Republican or Democrat party that would probably make any significant change in America’s foreign policy.

And quite frankly, the office of President is mostly defined by foreign policy, and in this regard, Rand is probably the only candidate that would be willing to defy the war-mad neocons and bring America’s founding principles back to our State Department and DOD. Ted Cruz won’t do it; Ben Carson won’t do it; Scott Walker won’t do it; Marco Rubio won’t do it; Mike Huckabee won’t do it; Mike Pence won’t do it; Rick Santorum won’t do it; Chris Christie won’t do it; Jeb Bush won’t do it; Hillary Clinton won’t do it; and neither will Martin O’Malley. In reality, when it comes to foreign policy, there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the Republicans and Democrats. Except for Rand Paul, that is. Rand is the ONLY presidential candidate who would potentially restore a constitutional foreign policy to the United States.

*Rand Paul is solid on the Bill of Rights and the right to life

Rand Paul is solid on the right to life and the Second Amendment. But unlike the rest of the presidential candidates, Rand is also solid on the rest of the Bill of Rights. In the name of the “war on terror,” politicians from both parties in Washington, D.C., have mostly eviscerated the Bill of Rights. For all intents and purposes, the Fourth through Tenth Amendments are mere words on paper. Both Republican and Democrat congresses have gutted them to the point that they are unrecognizable from their original intent. Rand Paul is the only presidential candidate who gives more than lip service to the Bill of Rights.

Accordingly, Rand Paul is the only presidential candidate that would probably use the power of the office to alleviate, or perhaps even dismantle, the burgeoning Police State in this country. This is another reason why Lindsey Graham and other neocons in Washington, D.C., hate Rand Paul.

*Rand is the Republican who has the best chance of winning the general election in 2016

Rand’s popularity will come from just about every quarter, except the Washington establishment. He will pull support from not only conservative, Tea Party, and patriot groups, but also from libertarians, independents, college-age and young Americans, and anti-war Democrats.

An MSN report notes, “Paul's speeches and media coverage have helped him break out of the Republican field. In very early trial heats of the presidential race, Paul regularly gets closer to Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic nominee, than his so-called establishment rivals. In a March poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, Paul tied Clinton in Pennsylvania, a state no Democratic candidate for president has lost since 1988.”

I'll leave the cons at...http://chuckbaldwinlive.com/Articles/tabid/109/ID/3306/Rand-Paul-Pros-And-Cons.aspx

It's a pretty objective contrast and this writer is a preacher that has known the Paul family for quite a while so I think this is a fair analysis.

There's only so many defense contractors around and thus they all get their piece of the action and can pretty much charge anything they want for their services. There's long been a blank check for military spending but at least in this case, this actually pertains to defense of the country rather than the standard wars abroad or the shipping of weaponry to foreign govts and rebel groups.

It's too bad the Koch bros are going to pay for the next president. I, for some reason, want Rand to win.
Aren't the Koch bros libertarian?

Lol, no. The Koch bros are crony capitalists.

Obama, the Democrats and their crony capitalist friends

President Obama has been spending a lot of time with the 1 percent lately, trying to get them to pony up to keep Democrats from losing control of Congress in November.

In the process, he's shown just how much the Democrats have become the party of crony capitalists and paternalistic rich liberals who would rather throw coins to the poor and middle class than give them real opportunities.

On Wednesday, Obama was in Cambridge, Mass., for a "roundtable discussion" with about 25 supporters who paid $32,400 each for the opportunity, followed by a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Boston where the tickets started at $5,000 a pop.

On Tuesday, Obama attended a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser at the home of former Sen. Chuck Robb in McLean, Va. -- one of many inside-the-Beltway havens for people who have gotten rich off federal government cronyism funded by U.S. taxpayers. Price of a ticket: $10,000 to $32,400.

How many of the middle-class Americans who pay taxes to make these people rich could afford that?

The Democrats like to complain about the "evil" Koch brothers, one of whom, David, recently donated $35 million to the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History to build a new hall for its collection of dinosaurs. That's the largest single donation ever to the publicly-administered museum and nearly twice the $18 million both brothers have spent on federal elections since 1989.

On the list of top political donors compiled by OpenSecrets.org, the Koch brothers rank only 59th. Meanwhile, the top 10 list is dominated by unions and corporations which benefit from handouts and special favors from government (which really means you, the taxpayer) and give overwhelmingly to the party that keeps them coming, the Democrats.

"The heart of who we are as Americans but also who we are as Democrats, as the party of Jefferson and FDR and JFK, is the simple premise that everybody in this country, if they work hard, can get ahead; that everybody has a chance to live out their dreams; that opportunity is there for the taking if you work hard, if you are responsible," Obama told the rich donors in Boston.

Really? The Democrats' actions speak louder than their words.

Yep, this is one of the greatest myths being spread around by the phony left and their media puppets. Their policies are so bad that they need to keep their herd in line by portraying the enemy on the other side and thus all this evil Koch money when in reality, the lefty union rackets blow the Kochs out of the water in terms of political contributions. The real crony capitalists are those that give to both parties and expecting that policy be made to benefit their industries: banking, health care, military contracts, etc. While there's plenty of blame to go around on the republican side of things, there's that much and plenty more in the democratic party. Obama and Hillary mark a major change in the democratic party going forward and someone knew needs to push them and their minions to the side and get that party back in line. Rand is leading the charge on the right side of the isle and is trying to transcend the two party system by his stances on the issues.
2960  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary Clinton to Announce 2016 Run for President on Sunday on: April 15, 2015, 03:51:19 PM
The major problem with this woman is not so much her awful stances on the issues but her and her husband have a significant track record of being corrupt and using everyone around themselves for their gain - many people have ended up indicted or in jail and even dead for being part of their endeavors. IF Obama promised transparency and has turned out to be anything but, including being terrible towards whistleblowers, then Hillary will be even worse as she merely tries to lie her way out of things and she religiously gets the benefit of the doubt cause she's a woman and a very liberal one at that. She's also very supportive of the military industrial complex and the banking/insider govt complex so she's got strong interests behind her which is why she can get away with all these obvious negative things.
