.....
Pluto is not a planet simply because there are at least 4 other bodies rather identical to it just next to Pluto.  If Pluto is a planet then so are they...
No, they're not, because Pluto is priveliged.

And why is it privileged? Because we discovered it first? That's how you do science? XD

Yep.

Sure, why not?

And it's a Plutoid.  And don't claim you don't know we are talking Paris here.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plutoid

BELIEVE whatever you want I didn't know it. And again it doesn't matter because the definition was made by an international consortium, not by Paris scientists.

Why not? Are you totally dumb or do you willingly say stupid things? Well maybe because that's not how science work.. you can't say "okay this object doesn't fit the definition but we're going to call that a planet because you know I like the guy who discovered it so let's give it the planet title even if it doesn't suit the definition we made"

Not really surprising you find yourself so good at understanding things if you don't care about definitions xD
Might explain why you're always saying shit though ^^

If the universe is made out of the same stuff everywhere and nature hates to waste energy to build new stuff, could the humanoid shape be the most logical path for an intelligent life form ready for space exploration?

NO.  Because as we all know, our big brains stem from the fact we have opposing thumbs and fingers.

That is, unless you choose to be a Denier of these established scientific factoids.  Just as the grand planet Pluto is now only a Plutoid, by virtue of a consensus of scientific opinion, you must bow down to factoids such as the thumb and finger oppositional premise of the big brain theory, and ignore contrary evidence such as the infinite number of gradations of stupidity.  Those only confirm the hypothesis, as creatures which were more stupid would have fewer possible levels of stupidity.  Thus in the case of Hillary, it's "Bill or No Bill?" asked from one side of the bed to Huma, on the other side.

Now, if the oppositional thumb merits discussion, we have to acknowledge that beings, creatures or slimeballs with a plethora of said oppositional apparatus would be greater in intelligence as follows.

n = number of oppositional thumb/finger pairs
t = time
c = clusterfuck factor
bb = degree to which brain is high or low density in bricklike nature
F = unknown factor, plugged into make the results agree with pre determined intent

Smartness = n^(t*(-c + -bb + F)

Obviously...

LOL,  everytime I read one of your post I discover a new way to see things in an absurd and far too simplified way.

So you don't agree on the fact that Pluto is not a planet? Tell us how you know things better than all scientists. After proving how you're better than any meteorologist and climatologists I bet you're ready to show us how good of an astronaum you are xD

Spendulus, the great scientist!
Ah.....

I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED...

A strong defense of the decision that Pluto is only a "PLutoid object," since the IAU, which has the sole authority to name planets in it's own mind, is based in Paris, France, and you....

Fuck no I don't agree with this BS.  Hey, Pluto earned it's right to be a planet.  It's your French buddies who think they have the right to name things who are Plutoids.

Besides, "Plutoid" is dumber than a sack of bricks.

Well I didn't know it was based in Paris but it doesn't matter it's an international consortium. The decision to declassify it was made after an international consortium precised the definition of the word planet.
A planet: Astronomers of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) voted on and passed the first scientific definition of a planet in August 2006. According to this new definition, an object must meet three criteria in order to be classified as a planet. First, it must orbit the Sun. Second, it must be big enough for gravity to squash it into a round ball. And third, it must have cleared other objects out of the way in its orbital neighborhood.

It is not the case of Pluto
You want Pluto to be classified as a planet? As you wish, but then you would have not nine but around 51 planets. Because any object orbiting the sun and massive enough would be called a planet.

And by the way, it's not a Plutoid,  it's a dwarf planet.

2944  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More than 1,200 new planets that could hold life found on: May 20, 2016, 08:07:14 PM

I understand that not all of the 1200 new planets may not be all planets after all... Because some of them were discovered by Americans...

 Smiley

No but maybe because some of them doesn't suit all criteria of the definition of the word planet.

Pluto may exhibit some characteristics not belonging to planets, but it exhibits some planetary characteristics, as well.

Within the last couple of years or so, Pluto has been reclassified as a planet by cosmologists. I don't follow their every move, but I don't believe it has been taken out of planet classification, again, recently. If it has, it would have had to have been done within the last 2 or 3 months.

Cool

Of course Pluto is no longer classified as a planet. Only American scientists say otherwise because Pluto was the only planet discovered by americans and they got really angry when the rest of the world wanted to declassify it xD

Whose "spaceship" did that Pluto flyby? Oh, yes. America's. Perhaps those photos of the planet Pluto were all fake. Looked like a planet to me.

Meh? I'm not saying they didn't take photos of Pluto.  But those photos aren't even part of the debate to know if yes or no its a planet. The debate is just: does Pluto answer every criteria of a planet definition.

Does earth? How can we tell? since the majority (if not all) of the other "planets" have no life on them. Cosmologists make up only a tiny percent of the people who live. Pluto is a planet.

 Cool

Wtf?
Here is the definition of a planet:
The issue of a clear definition for planet came to a head in January 2005 with the discovery of the trans-Neptunian object Eris, a body more massive than the smallest then-accepted planet, Pluto. In its August 2006 response, the International Astronomical Union (IAU), recognised by astronomers as the world body responsible for resolving issues of nomenclature, released its decision on the matter during a meeting in Prague in the Czech republic. This definition, which applies only to the Solar System, states that a planet is a body that orbits the Sun, is massive enough for its own gravity to make it round, and has "cleared its neighbourhood" of smaller objects around its orbit. Under this new definition, Pluto and the other trans-Neptunian objects do not qualify as planets. The IAU's decision has not resolved all controversies, and while many scientists have accepted the definition, some in the astronomical community have rejected it outright.

Pluto is not a planet simply because there are at least 4 other bodies rather identical to it just next to Pluto.  If Pluto is a planet then so are they...

First game analysed:
Psg-Om  French match on the 21/05

This game is important and psg never took a game lightly.
What's more, it's the last match of Zlatan, main player of psg, in this team. No reason for him to not try to burst an awesome show before leaving.
The difference of level between the two teams is a huge gap. Om never won a game against psg for last year.

Of course it's the finale of the championship no anything can happen! But the good side of it is that odds are rather high!
Here is my personal betting strategy for the game. I expect psg to win by far, but put a high bet on a simple win in case they lead only by one goal. All bets amount are in mB
Psg wins odd 1.38 bet 200
Psg wins by 2 goals or more  odd 2.14  bet 75
Over 2.5 goals  odd 1.86  bet 100
Psg wins first half by 1 goal odd 1.85 bet 100

Like I said, 6-0 for Canada! Easy cake ^^
Well I've got a problem folks, I keep playing without writing because I like to play midgame. There was a beautiful odd of 1.87 for under 2.5 goals at Belgium game at the 81' so it's a great opportunity.

I've decided to try to write regular report on my bets and to write at least a day before the huge bets I'm putting in games I've analysed.  It'll help everyone and give you time to discuss it and place your bets Smiley

I would like to say a huge thank you for the wonderful experience. The email reply is not effective as i never get another reply after the first one.

However, roslinpl is a very great and helpful campaign manager, even though it has nothing to do with the campaign, he still tried his very best to help me out.

Also, i try out the live support and the problem is solved within 5minutes. So next time, if you encounter any problem, try to look for the live support first.

lorylore and all of our great signature campaign members, we are here for you anytime and we wholeheartedly thank you for your involvement in our program.  We will continue to work very hard for you.  Betcoin deals with many people that try to cheat and abuse the system which may slow something down from time to time for our great members and participants such as yourselves, but it will always be promptly handled for you and again we thank you for much for your involvement with Betcoin.

Funny how you seem to think your members are so innocent when most of them are just farmed accounts they bought just so they can be in campaigns and artificially increase betcoin reputation with their own artificial reputation.

Perfect example is lorylore, an account that was the alt of the guy who pulled off the bitcoinblackfriday scam 6 months ago.

hi i am lorylore and i am sorry that people got hurt by the scammer. i bought this account from SmartIphone and i would be glad to provide more evidence if there is a need arises. hope no more victim will surface.

Account farming is not allowed due to our campaign rules and due to the Forum rules. We don't have to write anything about it because by default everyone need to follow the Forum rules.

lol

I don't know about other members so I won't talk on there behalf.
But the problem you're raising is common to every campaign and it's roslinp job to find farmers not creating valuable content and throwing them out of the campaign. Which he seems to do rather well as betcoin extended the campaign while keeping high level rewards.

And I don't know for other members, but from what I saw most of us are truly participating in this forum. I've created a whole thread about my bets and my betting strategy on betcoin. That's not exactly what I would call "farming".
And not constructive post are not paid anyway so...

Hey betcoin I've got a problem (another one xD)

Lately the sportbook caused me a lot of troubles! Some of my bets disappeared, others were cleaned as lost while they were wins, some bets refused to be placed without any reason... I keep creating tickets! Well your support is excellent  (in general) but it's really not friendly to keep asking the support to manage my bets. Do you have an idea of what is the problem? An idea of when it's going to be fixed? Or should players having to use support on a daily basis like me expect some kind of compensation ?

Because as much as I like your site, I won't spend another month having to ask support why 250mB disappeared from my account xD

Thanks in advance!

A new kind of time today about ice hockey to change a bit ^^

Canada vs Sweden
The odd isn't high in itself: 1.37
But I'll put a triple bet on that because it's a sure win. Canada it's 22 win out of 23. Sweden it's 3 out of 7 and with some difficulty wins against low teams like Switzerland !
Bet whatever you feel but it's a nearly sure win at an excellent rate  Wink

Many people are of opinion that it will be a draw or United will win , I dint want to take a risk , so I just chose under option . From the past 3 matches (in home )United  have scored less , do you think this is a good bet ? And also Granollers was a easy one , he is playing well.

Hey! Sorry I didn't see your post earlier ^^
I'm a bit surprised by the result, 3.5 goals or less is a safe options most of the time!

Hey betcoin !

I'm a regular user and bet a lot on the sportbook. I've got a question for you: did you do any maintenance on the mobile part of the site? I bet a lot on mobile, and the sport betting part has gone completely shitty. It was really excellent and smooth, but now it's just a copy of the desktop version and it's really not user friendly at all!

Is the problem coming from me? I didn't change anything in my parameters ^^

Thank you for your question.  You are accessing the desktop version when you should still be accessing the mobile version.  If you clear your cookies you will be able to access the mobile version that you enjoy and are used to again.  You can also use a different browser like Chrome on mobile if you are not already using that and you will see the mobile version.  Please let us know that this works for you.

Thanks for the answer!
Sadly deleting the cookie isn't working. Chrome is working but it's not my favourite browser. I don't understand why the browser that used to work isn't working anymore but it doesn't really matter, I can use your excellent mobile version again thank you Smiley

You are very welcome and thank you for the followup.  Which browser do you prefer and we can test it on our end and solve this for you?  We look forward to your response and thank you for playing with us.

No don't bother, I don't even know what's the browser, it's just the default Samsung browser I'll just use chrome for betcoin no problem Wink

Quite a nice result! So the basic bet is going right to 75 mBTC !

Let's remember it's always important some of what you win otherwise nothing is a definitive win Wink
So I withdrawEd 183 mBTC and the bankroll is now of 1400 mBTC stay tuned for next tips!

http://www.econotimes.com/Coin-Citadel-Is-Raising-$750000-Worth-Of-Bitcoins-To-Increase-Its-Holdings-209029

Will the price go up with this sudden surge in demand?

It is doubtful the price would go up much if any. Larger deals such as this tend to be arranged privately and/or through dark pools so they do not impact the price directly. You do not want to place your orders on a public exchange to cause the price to go up where you would end up paying more than you could by simply negotiating a private sale. Plus, while it is still a good sized order, $750k is not such an excessively huge amount to take off the market at once to cause a huge run on bitcoins.

Hmmm... but who will have so many bitcoins (>1600) and willing to sell them in one go, considering the price is very likely to increase in the coming months?

This goes back in the question of "Where can I buy $1million worth of bitcoins?"

Easy, you just go and see pools directly. You ask them to sell you the coins at a market price + 2% for example. You keep a reasonable price and everyone is happy.
