2941  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and bad scenarios on: July 05, 2017, 07:32:25 AM
As if a coin has two sides, each and everything has got two side. The good side is appreciated and accepted by the one who understands it and the bad side is prioritized by users who always need to be on the safe side without complications. So depending on the user the good and bad of bitcoin varies. On recent days the bad thing happened with bitcoin is the security issue. More than 300btc got stolen from an exchange.
2942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 05, 2017, 06:41:17 AM
We are already in July and August 1 is coming...the day when Segwit would start signalling for all and what will happen after this date is something many fear of. Will there be a split and what will happen on the split?

I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.
This is very simple thing , you should think that lot of amount of the Bitcoin are hold by the owner of the Bitcoin , so what will happ if the network of the blockchain will face problem , I mean we don't need to worry much about this , and instead of this some preacuation should be taken by us .
1) Before 1 August transfer your all Bitcoin at the blockchain wallet .
2) If you have Bitcoin then transfer only Bitcoin to your address of blockchain also  .
3) don't make transaction like things from any of the Bitcoin wallet .
4) Make backup of your wallet of the blockchain before the 1 August  .
If you will do these things , then I don't think that you need to worry anything ways , because you are in official ways and platform and nothing is problem in the official wallets Wink

Thank you for the advice. I will do as you suggest. I hope everything is fine for me.

yes these are all precautions in the upcoming hard fork like its better to be safe than sorry.
its better to do these even if the activation will be succesful or not. stop spreading some fud about the splitting of coin as it brings some confusions to the community.
Not really, the confusion happens with the users who make the participation into bitcoin activities with hesitation. One who makes a better understanding will never panic on situation of splitting or other hard fork issues. Because in reality such issues have been overcome by bitcoin in the past and has benefited the one who stayed with it holding tightly.
2943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Milestone for bitcoin?? on: July 05, 2017, 06:28:44 AM
I am pretty sure the next milestone will be in near future when the soft/hard fork happens to solve the scaling problem.

If this is indeed possible, it would attract more people to use Bitcoin now that each block can handle more transactions, and I would predict the Bitcoin price to jump even higher now when more people use it.

I wouldn't say much until it is successful, and I am really excited for its success. Cheesy

2017 will be lucky year for bitcoin as well as for bitcoin users because South Korea going to legalize bitcoin and china the world most powerful country also legalize bitcoin in their country soon.

@Cointelegraph

Well this is a great news that China is legalizing the Bitcoin and this surely will effect the overall value and adaptation.
Bitcoin has already broke many records in 2017 as far as price is concerned and the price will go past 3000$ by the end of this year.
This year lots of good news has been coming into bitcoin in a larger scale. Hope the same will continue throughout the year, as we need to travel the second half of the year. Right now starting from Japan, Australia has legalized and now South Korea and China has come up with the plans.
2944  Economy / Gambling / Re: Earn 0.012BTC in 3 days on: July 04, 2017, 10:20:09 AM
That's really a useless earning way. One is supposed to spend time similar to that he spends on a day job. For the same what he gets paid is a mere amount. There are faucets that provide better earning than this for the same time spent.
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Won 0.4 Btc with 0.1 Btc deposit! Finally a deposit which came out xd on: July 04, 2017, 10:04:47 AM
You didn't even say what did you play Sad
What strategy did you use, did you go very low with your balance or just straight up wins etc.
No real information provided Sad
Whatever might be the strategy he could have used, but made a bigger win in multiples of 3. At this current price he has gained 0.3btc is something big and that too through casino is really lucky. I too have the question that whether he starts with 0.1btc directly or multiplies little by little for a safe play.
2946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where should i invest 45 BTC risk free on: July 04, 2017, 09:37:55 AM
As that's a very big amount, just a make a small investment into altcoins and ICO project that are going on successfully. If you doesn't need any further Profiting then just move the coins towards the offline wallets. Hold on, the price fluctuations will profit you.
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is working fine! No change needed! on: July 04, 2017, 09:25:22 AM
Give this baby time to grow, folks.
Bitcoin can't grow without more users, and it can't handle more users without more transactions.
Don't you think it's too much of a coincidence that just weeks before August 1, suddenly the transaction backlog is empty and fees are low again? It seems like power plays to me.
As majority of the users stated I too believe that blocksize increase is a must, but right now everything is quite good and nothing seems to be an issue. Even if some issues arise, within a short time span it is getting solved. All we need is time, because we're just 8-9 years from the day of bitcoin into the world. It needs time to show it's growth. Even before that no need to penetrate into it.

"Regulators Needs the Blockchain Master Key" — Morgan Stanley
http://internetmarketing.freedombucks.ws/morgan-stanley-regulators-need-the-blockchain-master-keys-3/

Insecured Elites are about to takeover the Blockchain. It's more like few people taking over the Internet.
For the first time in my life I am very terrified of our future. This people are not government, I know what they are capable of. They claim that regulating the New Internet (Blockchain) will increase the price of Bitcoin, this is a big lie.

Why are you not worried brothers? . How can you create a beautiful technology only for a few dangerous people to hijack it.
The people we are about to entrust the Blockchain network on are capable of wiping out a whole community. They are dangerous people.
Wake up everybody, we are about to be enslaved. Wake up.

Don't believe everything people say, especially on the internet. Just because the regulators want a master key to bitcoin, doesn't mean they will succeed. There is no risk here, although the banks may eventually centralise Bitcoin but the thing is: even if Bitcoin gets centralised, there will be more and more decentralised alt coins, so there is no point of doing that.

People have tried to find the master key to bitcoin but they have all failed. It's just rumours and you have nothing to fear.
Agreed, bitcoin might be functional in the banking network in a centralised manner, but the entire bitcoin network always stay decentralized. As mentioned when the competitors stay as decentralized bitcoin too will stay long in the track as it is, corporates create such rumours just to take bitcoin under their control as the growth of digital currency were booming big.
2949  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: July 03, 2017, 08:06:54 AM
Gambling sites are the best option. When people bet and lose, they'll continue to bet more in order to win and as such, they will be staking more money do as to get a big win.
But a dating site these days from my own point of view is dwindling, people don't believe in online dating anymore because of the too many scams in it.
I'm completely agreed with you on this issue...
Definitely gambling is the better option of the two sites, it's true that the demand of dating site is decreasing day by day, people haven't any faith on it. On the other hand, gambling is like an addiction that's why people are always seeking an opportunity to win by this process. So the demand will remain same, so that gambling site should be chosen...
Gambling websites profit in large scale compared to the dating sites where one will be getting mere premium for certain time period. Also these days by the increasing bitcoin awareness more people try their luck in gambling rather than spending Time on dating sites, because people get more access to such activities through social media platforms.
2950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 03, 2017, 07:51:45 AM
The idea seems good and has a possibility to get implemented. But when real time usage begins or when it goes under testing will realize the difficulties to manage the same. Because one won't be getting the chance of money making through ads and donation. This is all factor of time to give the answer. As several gambling websites go bankrupt this happens.
2951  Economy / Economics / Re: How to TAX Bitcoin. An easy way ! on: July 03, 2017, 07:16:07 AM
In my country, I have to fill a form every year for the tax department, including my year end bank statement and the salary bill.
Together with some major bills for insurance and healthcare, that's all they get.

So I can hide cash under the bed, or have an overseas account, or have some Gold bars, etc. The goverment has to thrust me quite a bit.
They can check some transfers, but if you like to hide it, you can do it.

So the actual way of getting the real numbers is quite bad.

In Bitcoin
If the Tax department makes it a rule by law, that you have to report every BTC address you own, or every wallet you own ...

All problems solved, because then the Department has also the addresses of the petrol station and the deli you spend money.
In no time the system knows which tax counts here and can claim the respective amount from both sides.

Sure it is still possible to hide Bitcoins, but then it is illegal.

...or did I miss something?

It would be easier for them to just ask you about your total bitcoin holdings. But they will have to do it for all alt coins as well.
Otherwise, people would just hold litecoins instead of bitcoins and avoid the taxman.
Don't you think that once government make a law to taxes bitcoin, this law will also cover any other cryptocurrencies? Maybe the government will just consider the amount of LTC you currently own equivalent to BTC just for taxing purpose,or any other way they could try.
Don't underestimate government if it's about the taxes, they'll just take as much as they can from you.
That's true, if government makes a plan then at least for certain time period they'll stick to it. When it comes to cryptocurrency we too have got the chance of making anonymous trading access. So how will they levy taxes if we're just holding in terms of bitcoin or some other altcoins without converting to fiat. In my view if government regulate serious law too, there will be loop holes to stay out of taxation.
2952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: July 03, 2017, 06:52:56 AM

A little bit of both to be honest. So far I have been lucky enough to profit greatly but also being involved in crypto has been a very fun hobby of mine - it has become a passion of mine.
Being passionate about bitcoin and cryptocurrency after getting into it is good to know. As every profile, here too one who is passionate about it will be profited big and will be understand about her facts in a much better way as well withstand any hard situations of price fall or collapse to profit from it.
2953  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 02, 2017, 09:12:42 AM
No, bitcoin is just a decentralized peer to peer payment system in shortly. It is not for to solve poverty
I will disagree, it is not just a payment system but it is now a popular investment which everyone is trying to invest. And if you invested to bitcoin earlier when the price is still not that high then now you had almost 1000% percentage profit. So I believe it can end a family's poverty but the world is big and its hard to believe.
Bitcoin has got multiple usability rather than getting used as a payment gateway. Recent days it's more popular as an investment. I need to ask what's meant by poverty. One who doesn't have the food and basic needs is the poverty. In this situation where he'll go for making an investment. So it can be eradicated if people were educated. So education can be provided by government. In this way a chained process might help, but when it comes to real time implementation it will be hard to get success.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: July 02, 2017, 08:52:58 AM
Night time in US in poker when most American gamblers are drunk
lol

That's a smart method for gamblers all over the world. I should try to begin gambling during the night so I could get a bunch of free coins by a bunch of people making the wrong selections at night.

I usually gamble any time because I gamble when I feel like it.
Not only for the moody people but even for the addicted people it is too much important that they must have a limit to play gambling, because such people play gambling regularly it means if they want to continue gambling for a long time.

While moody people play gambling often and therefore if they will lose money for one they will not be effect so much even after losing a big amount.
These moody people are the one who gets addicted after a short time period if they're experiencing good win or loss, because initially they won't make any limitations which is the drawback. In my view when the moody people loss the next time while they play try to retain the loss happened in the past. This might succeed else the scenario continues causing addiction and with some they set limitations and continue gambling.
2955  Economy / Economics / Re: A cash credit in your country?! on: July 02, 2017, 08:27:57 AM
Those interest rates aren't too bad.  I mean you are taking out money for >3 years.

The top one's payments are 7.2% per year.
Those Interest rates are not that big. This varies depending on the banks and the extended time period it's been scheduled to make the repaying. Just with the interest earned the banks operate successfully. The same process is used with the lending services with bitcoin.
2956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold... Hold.... Hold.... Do not sell everything on: July 02, 2017, 08:13:57 AM
I sold a good portion of my bitcoins a year ago because I needed to spend them. I spent some of them a few months ago because I needed the money. Every time I need money I have to sell less and less bitcoins so this absolutely makes sense. Sell maybe 5 or 10% but don't ever get rid of everything. You'll just hate yourself when you're hanging onto a small percentage of what you could have had.

Every Year almost rumor about bitcoin is going to crash !!!!
And it always rise .. this time it will be big impact Bitcoin surly goes up !!! if you sold it you will cry by next month

Yes, always bitcoin has a fud. but thankful for the support of a lot of holders. JUST HODL and we can all be rich by the help of bitcoin.
Not every users, but very few users make such and the important factor required to make the bitcoin grow is continued spreading. Recently a mass adoption took place when Japan entered legally and once after that due to ransomware attack a good user base learned about bitcoin and slowly starts using bitcoin. Moreover growth is assured, so holding is good.
2957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: July 02, 2017, 07:41:21 AM
The market will expand until we reach a point where equilibrium will be created in the number of new coming investors.

Once the new investors come for sure the price will hike and reach another peak of it. And so bitcoin will take us more to brighter future. And if the government will permit to use it publicly for sure things will go smoothly and good. I think those who have saved cryptos in any forum like bitcoin or altcoin, they all will be rich by 2020.
Agreed, when new investment enter the network we'll be experiencing price increase. In the past too, the same took place when the legalization took place in Japan. A huge investment inflow took place and caused a price increase to a bigger level. Now too several good news has been coming from Countries all around. Hope this will make the price increase in a short towards $3000
2958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 01, 2017, 08:01:43 AM
Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).

One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.

There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley

Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
it does not seem necessary because many gamblers want to hide their identity while gambling. in my country gambling is illegal so it would be better to create an account on the gambling site anonym. but if the gambler likes that option because there's no need to create an account on that site which is time consuming and just needs to connect it to a social media account it's good too.
Very few does this. I haven't used any of my IDs to generate a account in gambling websites. This is not just because of the identity loss, if they make the identity is a must I'll provide. Because I wish to be a part of the gambling network. But sometimes legal issues arise, which might trouble us high, for which I avoid using the personal IDs.
2959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can you expain trade strategies? on: July 01, 2017, 07:50:15 AM
When you can buy cryptocurrency at a low price and then sell it at a high price then you have successfully done trading. There is no special strategy in trading, for me the most important thing is we can get profit. Because doing a good analysis but only bring a little money then it will not mean.
If there is no special strategy in trading then definitely you will never able to buy at lower prices as well you will never able to sell at high prices. Only through strategy you will come to know when will the high and low prices do happen.
I don't think so. You don't need strategy for you to be able to buy low and sell high since it's more on instinct and effortless since you just need to wait so you can buy low and sell high. However, applying strategy would give you a better trades aside from buying low and selling high.
Strategies were just for understanding purpose. That's not gonna provide you with profit or loss. The buying a d selling orders that you make studying the entire market is the one to profit. As stated always you cannot buy low and sell high. For this to take place you need to have patience to buy when price decreases. Experiment yourself to know about trading, without that depending on others doesn't benefit.
2960  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC sudden price fall? on: July 01, 2017, 07:36:33 AM
Hello!

Over the past days BTC has fallen quite a bit, also ETH. Any clue why? Seems to be opportunity to buy more.

Yes it is always wise decision to buy every alts that are in red during bloodbath, if you have bought at the time of your post than you are already in profit.
But this is not that cent percent assured of getting a profit. The reason is that with bitcoin we can trust and buy even when its in bloodbath, but we cannot predict the alts in a similar manner because there are Alta that has gone down continuous and has never retained value. Here too you need to be lucky to get good profit.
