Many people choose to do that, but there are also those who have revealed personal info about themselves or received such information from other forum members. I am just curious how many belong to that camp.

The thing is, your crypto finances are in 99% of cases not private. I am talking about the campaigns you have participated in. the spreadsheets are usually public, plus the blockchain is a public ledger. You can, of course, mix your coins every time you receive them, spend them, give, or gamble them away. Still, that doesn't change the fact that people can see how much you received or earned. They don't have the same information about your fiat though.

The biggest problems with posting on Bitcointalk from a mobile app is dealing with quotes and multiquotes. No mobile app can help me to select parts of someone's post, copy only that, delete the rest, quickly add code for hyperlinks, images, etc. The experience doesn't improve, but gets worse on the phone. Imagine trying to create a table on your phone. This is OK for general forum browsing and reading. Making the occasional post here and there, sure. But a phone is never going to become a substitute for a desktop device with a mouse.  

How accurate or trustworthy are those bot/AI plagiarism checkers anyway? Normal plagiarism tools don't tag the content as plagiarized but those AI tools do. I watched a video when ChatGPT first came out where a guy had it write an article for him, and then checked that article for plagiarism. AI plagiarism tools discovered like 70-80% machine written content when in fact it was all written by a machine. After that he just made some silly spelling mistakes in the text, checked the content again, and the percentage of machine written content dropped significantly. That tells me, they aren't that accurate and can easily be manipulated.     

No, but I am using two ad blockers and they would get rid of the advertisements even if they existed. I see a link to the official forum, a link to Bitcointalk on bitcoinwiki, a Cointelegraph collection with the tag "bitcointalk", etc. There is also a link to the fake .com version high up in the search results.

I don't remember seeing that tweet. What post did he share? Since it was a post from such a long time ago, he might have seen it elsewhere on the internet in some references about historical bitcoin-related news or something. It wouldn't be that unusual.

People get into fights for reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of someone's posting. Because of those conflicts, you might end up on that person's ignore list. Everyone has the right to ignore anyone they want to, but I have always looked at that list as a place where you put the worst spammers of them all and not someone you disagreed with for whatever reason.

But I don't think these lists should be public and it's a good thing they aren't. Imagine if you could see the people who reported your posts for rule violations and the drama that would ensue? Instead of a normal discussion board, this would turn into a payback community where many would hold grudges against others and look to get them into the same problems they were in.

It takes two to tango, right? Whoever those people are and whatever their reasons for coming here and participating in the context, many people appreciated their creations. And many gave them merits. It's only a problem if you can prove that people created alt accounts and merited themselves. But if the distribution came from dozens of different forum members, you can't tell people what to do with their merits.   

There are over 150 pages of threads in that sub-board. If new child boards were added, mods would need to move all the old threads to the appropriate places and not just require that new discussions be created in the correct subs. I don't see that happening.

Can we assume from this question that it happened to you? And if it did, tell us the name of the exchange so that other members can avoid using it.

If you insist on using that service in the future (you really shouldn't), just tell them where the funds come from. Tell them you are part of a signature campaign and those coins are payment for rendered services. I think that should be enough to get them to unfreeze your account, so you can withdraw your money. But they will probably lock your account after that.

Your signature payments go directly to an address owned by KuCoin? Why? How difficult can it be to create an Electrum wallet and be your own custodian?

All exchanges were good before shit happened. FTX was one of the best, remember?

KYC doesn't prove the source of the funds. It proves who you are. If they were interested in how you earned that money, they should be satisfied if you proved to them that you are part of a signature campaign and get paid for promoting service X. Showing them the address where you get your service fees together with a signed message is enough proof. However, casinos want your KYC data, and they want it for other reasons.

SISAR je već prošle godine pisao o ICP blockchainu. Doduše taj post je u glavnom dijelu foruma u temi Novosti. Citirat ću ga u nastavku pa pročitaj ako te zanima.
Pokušao sam pokrenuti i diskusiju (bezuspješno) u engleskom dijelu foruma (Bitcoin’s Integration with The ICP Blockchain) nakon što je napravljena jedna vrsta integracije sa BTC blockchainom. Ali sam izgubio interes ubrzo. Čak sam se bio i javio njihovoj korisničkoj podršci i pitao da li bi neko iz njihovog tima želio da napiše par riječi u temi i da svoje mišljenje. Odbili su to.   

Meni je film odličan bio. I prije nego sam pročitao ko je radio na filmu, pomislio sam pa ovo je neka vrsta nastavka In Brugges. A i glumački dvojac je identičan. Kompletna radnja je smještena u par lokacija istog sela i baš su naglasak stavili na kvalitet glume.

Serija 1899 je već preporučena i stavio sam je na listu onih koje bi volio pogledati. Ali ju je Netflix već nakon prve sezone otkazao. Nisam čitao zašto ali vidim da je dobro ocjenjena i od strane publike a i kritičara. Ne vidim onda smisao da počnem gledati seriju koja se neće nastaviti.   

Ja sam već napisao na prethodnoj stranici da meni ova kampanja dolazi prekasno. Zbog posla i novih obaveza neću imatu dovoljno vremena da se ovome kvalitetno posvetim tokom radnog tjedna. Da je kampanja krenula prije 20-30 dana onda bi bila i moja prijava tu.

Postoji stotine stranica na netu i tipster grupa po društvenim mrežama od kojih bi onda uzimali informacije, malo izmjenjali sadržaj da ih se ne može optužiti za plagiranje i postavljali onda to kao svoje analize i tipove. A mogu koristiti i AI softver da im napiše nešto. Ne vjerujem da bi se puno toga promjenilo samo bi se prilagodili kako i sam kažeš na drugu vrstu sadržaja.

Sjećam se da sam negdje naletio na post koji mi se činio poznatim. Dok ga čitam imam deja vu i znam tačno šta će da piše. Bila je to analiza neke nadolazeće borbe u boksu. Kada sam pročitao do kraja, sjetio sam se da je to već bilo na forumu i da je o tome neko već pisao. Ispostavilo se da je lik uzeo nečiju analizu napisanu za neku drugu borbu, izmjenio imena da odgovara ovoj koja tek treba da se desi, malo još nabacio svog nekog razmišljanja i to objavio u novom postu.   

Već je drugi dan kako sam bolestan sa stomačnim tegobama pa možda i nije najbolji trenutak za pričati o ovisnosti. Ali u ova dva dana nisam popio niti jednu od svoje 2 uobičajene dnevne kafe. Nisam najbolje zbog virusa ali mi se kafa ne traži. S tim da kad se oporavim opet namjeravam nastaviti sa standardnim tempom od 2 možda i 3 kafe na dan. Ponedeljak će onda bit 4 dana kako sam clean. Dovoljno.

I have never heard of it. Their ANN thread dates back to November, so they have been around for around 2 months already. Thanks for the tip. I am going to add them in the future unless I see something bad about that site.

There is a Scandinavian local on this forum. I wanted to check it out a few years ago, but was disappointed to see that almost no one posts in it. Come to think of it, I don't remember ever hearing from someone that he/she lives in one of the Nordic countries.

Many people are still way too gullible to use the internet, let alone bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. 

Yeah, that's pretty much it. The scammer wants you to copy his address that will pop up at the top of your transaction history in your wallet or do the same thing using a blockchain explorer.

I am sure the addresses are monitored by a bot or smart contract maybe. The fake transaction sometimes gets broadcasted 15-20 seconds after a legitimate one. The scammers want their entry to be the first you see in your wallet.

Yeah, that's not going to work yet. I should probably not say this, but it doesn't matter. Water under the bridge already. Back when smartphones started becoming a thing, I helped a close family member to get acquainted with her phone. An older lady, let's keep it at that. I realized she would need some time to figure it all out, but I never imagined what would happen. A few weeks later, she calls me to ask if I can help her get rid of something on her phone. When I get there, I see her phone has been bombarded with SMS messages from someone/something. She kept receiving new offers to contact a "girl" because the girl has heard that she can keep it up and go for hours. I am not making this up. It was both funny and sad at the same time. She couldn't even remember what she clicked on that got her into that situation, or she was ashamed to say.

I have noticed the same thing in the last 10-15 days, but I didn't check what was deleted and what threads were trashed. Since I didn't receive any PMs, I just figured that whole threads by some other members got trashed affecting the occasional posts I wrote there. But I only had 3 or 4 posts deleted if my memory serves me right.

I got all the information I needed, so I added the info about the surprise box in my thread.

I will get another Betcoin account up and running to see if I can play around with it to test how it works. Btw, are the issues I am experiencing with my account known to you? In the first post I wrote about it, you said I should try again making it look like you know what might be causing it and that you have seen that before.

Ma aparat za kafu palim čim ustajem ali kao i što sam kažeš ta ovisnost mene i moju obitelj neće istjerati na ulicu. Ali čak i tu imam mjeru. Dvije ili tri kafe na dan je meni dosta. Poslje 6 navečer je ne pijem i tu nema rasprave. Nova godina, zabave i rođjendani su izuzetak da ne zaspem.  

Što je zanimljivo, te osobe su labilne na svaki mogući način. Jedan školski drug je bio žestoki alkos tokom školskih dana. Pa je onda upoznao neku djevojku i okrenuo se više vjeri i skroz se smirio. Onda je počeo da se druži sa nekim wannabe kriminalcima pa su onda opet krenula žestoka pića, priča o autima, novcu, lopovluku, kako treba pljačkati i otimati, nema ništa od poštenog života, itd. Nisam ga godinama vidio ali zadnje što znam je da se je opet smirio, nije više s tim društvom, upoznao je neku finu ženicu i sadi svoje povrće. Zanima me šta bi bilo da je upoznao neku gudrašicu i bi li sad šmrkao bijelo i hodao po noćnim klubovima i partijima i govorio kako je to ajbolje što postoji. Te takve drastične promjene kod ljudi su mi nevjerovatne. Da jedan mjesec možeš bit papa, drugi Anthony Soprano a treći saditi voće i povrće. I siguran sam da se u njemu i dalje krije to neko ludilo i sve zavisi s kakvim je ljudima trenutno okružen.     

Neću da kažem koje sam igre volio da igram da ne otkrijem svoju dob. Ali i ja sam igrao igrice i sate i sate provodio viseći za računarom. Ali mi ne pada na pamet da se navlačim na slot mašine ili druge kasino igre. Previše ljudi nije u stanju da kaže ne i da stoje iza toga ne.

I guess it depends on how you use those accounts. Generally speaking, most casinos have no tolerance for multi-accounting. However, those that don't mind, don't want to see you abuse bonuses and promotions. Abusers who get limited register new accounts to continue with the same playing habits after they got busted and limited. That, of course, is not ok. There aren't that many legitimate reasons to have multiple accounts on one casino.
