I think a much better way would be to generated seeds rather than private keys. Seeds are easy to even copy manually on paper. Private keys encourage bad security practices such as copying and pasting in a note pad or cloud service
You could also ensure that the user has written down the seeds by not letting them use the wallet unless the have retyped the words in the correct order as @SFR10 suggested

BEP2 is not BEP20, for BEP20, it is compatible with both BEP2 and ERC20. The coin is not lost, he should contact coinbase customer care. If assuming a noncustodial wallet is used, it will be easy to recover back the token.
Yep, the token is recoverable. The question is, can coinbase support cooperate and help the user? Nope, i highly doubt the will help him. In fact, I haven't seen a case where anyone was helped to recover their wrongly sent tokens, even if they were recoverable.

Nothing exiting for me. Aren't these the chaps who tried to block the retail traders from using their app after the gamestop saga?
Apparently according to them, when Big institutions manipulate the markets, it's being smart and legal. When retail traders do the same against the big dogs, it's illegal.

Yes, they require KYC to get whitelisted. But whitelist required only for airdrop. If you want stake HYDRRA, you can stake w/o whitelisting
I was interested in the Airdrop. However, I am having trust issues sending my documents to so many random wallet services so that I can just receive an Airdrop. How about if they could just take snapshots even for people holding the coin in exchanges such as kucoin, just like I have seen in the past with other airdrops?

Details how to get whitelisted: https://medium.com/locktrip/join-the-whitelist-for-the-hydra-distribution-event-f3e9608f31e6Residents or citizens of the following countries are excluded from the distribution, due to regulatory uncertainty: USA, North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, The Bahamas, Barbados, Botswana, Cambodia, Ghana, Iraq, Jamaica, Mauritius, Mongolia, Burma, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Zimbabwe But they are eligible for staking HYDRA on kucoin or their hard wallet to get from 185% to 250% APR So how are they going to determine if a resident from a prohibited country kept LOC in their hydra wallet or are you trying to say the Hydra wallet requires KYC verification in order to use it? If they require KYC, then I am out.

You could also go with the P2P option by using the forum's Marketplace for altcoins to advertise the coins you are selling in exchange for USD of any other coin that's supported in a US friendly exchange. Just make sure you offer attractive rates in order to get potential trade partners. Also use escrow services for trades especially with members whose accounts are not trusted and are low ranked.

What would you recommend as an alternative that is safe and has low fees, please? Thanks
I think the best option if you're selling BTC for fiat at the lowest fees is to use Binance or Kucoin P2P exchange if you don't mind undergoing KYC verification. I have used Binance P2P and zero fees are charged if you use the platform to exchange BTC to Fiat or Euro for your case. All you have to worry about are the rates at which traders are buying the BTC. 1. Binance P2P - https://c2c.binance.com/en/trade/sell/BTC2. Kucoin P2P - https://www.kucoin.com/otc/sell/BTC-EUR

You've a low IQ. 'I feel safer on Binance' Cz is a chink that sells all your infos and IDs to make money. Finally, you'll be tracked by your government in some years when BTC will be illegal, enjoy retard ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Was this really necessary? You could still disagree with someone minus insulting them. It isn't like OP needed a non KYC exchange. He just needed an exchange that doesn't have "heavy" KYC enforcement.

Binance doesnt require kyc, as long as you withdrawal within 2 btc per day limit (which is quite a lot) and you do not trade any fiat (stable coins are not fiat)
I used it for years without kyc and never had any problems.
However, if you want to deposit or withdrawal usd or any other fiat currency you need to do kyc.
It's pretty limited though if you don't verify your account. Features like p2p, Futures trading, Lending and borrowing etc won't be available. I don't think anyone would want to trade minus ever thinking of depositing and cashing out in the form of Fiat.

Freedom of expression is fine, but discriminatory measures and attacks on the person are all forms of offences that have as their motivation or effect to harm the physical or psychological integrity of others is clearly justiciable and can lead to financial penalties, so Bitcointalk could "have" a certain "responsibility" by letting this kind of behavior repeated without the slightest distancing, sanction, penalty undertaken against users who do not respect the law. ....... It is outrageous to read such behavior, as if this forum is a vent for repeated insults (see its user history https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2461690;sa=showPosts) slander, disrespect are very often invoked. I don't even know how people get offended by such remarks. If someone or a troll makes such remarks, just ignore them and see if it will break a single bone in your body. This is the internet and worse still. It is a forum full of anonymous individuals. Why would you feel bad or affected just because some random individual who doesn't even know you just made what you felt like was an insult?

-snip-
You are the guys who continue funding the exchange with your money so that it steals it and the scam continues to live on. HitBTC is already proven scam and if most of us avoided using it. I am sure they would cease operations at one point. As for the part of trying to go the legal way I think you would be wasting money and time trying to take them to court as they operate in jurisdictions where they maybe out of reach from Law enforcers.

In this scamers wallet has many estimated assets including owning 5 ETH and 3.7k AME. Imagine how stupid and greedy some people can be. Some of them deserve to learn the hard way that there is no free money I guess. The actual amount sent to them is actually more than 5 ETH according to ETHplorer![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F05%2F14%2Fblobef8c60a5d01dd839.png&t=663&c=YZkBGGTF8VKUiw)

1, How long ago did you attempt to sell the Bitcoins 2. Did you use the wallet's swap bitcoin function? 3. Can you generate the Bitcoin wallet address and check it through blockchair.com to see if you address still has any bitcoins in it or has ever had transactions through it.

It's hard to follow altcoin/BTC pair
For example during this bull run, the ETH/BTC price has been dropping but in actual sense the fiat value of the price has been rising because of the rise in the BTC price. So you would say altcoin/BTC pair is good for bull run while altcoin/fiat is good for bear market. But you will have to follow close movements between Altcoin/BTC pairs before buying and selling.
Reason? In bull run When you are not trading, your asset value still rises. If you use fiat, it won't rise and vise versa for the bear market.

For my point of view, classifying the above statements by @Lucius and @~DefaultTrust as death threats is far-fetched. The statements are similar to one saying that "I wish lightning could strike you dead" "I hope you die in an accident"
The whole thing becomes completely be different if someone said "I will kill you by cutting off your head" or "I will kill by poisoning your food" The last examples are what I believe to be actual death threats that are prohibited in the forum

And Inter won again and they won the title.
Wait a minute, I thought they have 11 more games to play with 9 points ahead of AC Milan and 10 ahead of Juventus and the can still be reduced. How is it that they have already won the title? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Today I saw that Ronaldo's price is somewhere near 36$mil and they want to sell him this summer. Will he go back to United ? Because I don't see any other top team who could afford to transfer Ronaldo.
PSG could try, especially if the sold Mbappé. $36Million still looks a bargain for someone who has scored a hat trick tonight ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

They did find the goal just before the break, thanks to Odegaard, although I think the heavy deflection from one of the Spurs defenders played a huge role in the goal, If not the keeper should have easily saved that. It's anyone's game from here on, however, I think this would remain the final score by the end of 90 minutes.
I think we might see more goals in the second half given the chances Arsenal has had and how leaky their defense is as well. Kane hasn't shown up in the game yet, probably because of Son's early exit (the two seem to play well as partners) but if they press hard as Arsenal sometimes tries to play from the back. They could get a goal out of it. Does anyone know why Aubameyang started on bench? I mean Arsenal could use him right now

I see your trade was cancelled which means the Bitcoins were never sold. Can you please click on your Bitcoin wallet and check if there is any Bitcoin balance in it? If yes then there is no need to be so worried, just device away or perhaps move your Bitcoin to another much better exchange
