Its a difficult choise but i will go with salah even of liverpool are doing badly he managed to score and compete with the top scorere and i think harry kane will be the prime competeters as you said bruno fernandes is not a striker and with the performance of man united recently he will not be able to score a lot.
Bruno Fernandes just might snatch he golden boots  off Harry Kane and Salah. Fernandes has been outstanding this season with 16 incredible goals. Man United has to get it together as team I hope Ole wakes up soon. It would be a shame if Fernandes is denied this opportunity because of poor team management. His two rivals, Salah and Harry Kane have the advantage on this one.
2942  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 23, 2021, 05:32:57 AM
Poverty cannot be erased from the world at least not this one. There will always be rich and poor people like prey and predator relationship. It gives balance to the ecosystem. If you try to upset this system by pumping in money to the "poor people", a high percentage would still come back to square one.

Everyone wants to take advantage of the opportunity, but you have to see how promising that opportunity is. People come to the crypto market to take advantage of some good opportunities to get something good back.  any kind of scam.
Yes you may be right but OP almost became an opportunity to be taken advantaged of by scammers. The idea of a scam is to appeal to your greed. When you look at most scams critically, you will discover that the storyline wasn't that intelligent and difficult to see through but because of the greed of the victims they ignore all red flags and end up losing their money

^ Just a normal pullback and I hope people will understand how BTC price will move, there could be always a correction when there is a recent pump.
Those who did not know will always throw negative feedback about BTC about the fact, BTC price correction as of now is probably refueling again and ready to skyrocket within the month. I don't see any reason of dumping, it seems all institution now was in favor with BTC and even government was also accepting BTC to be used to their people.
Exactly my thoughts, any time we experience a small correction on bitcoin price, there seems to be some sort of panic response attached to it from crypto lovers. We easily forget everything we know and lose focus. All of a sudden we forget all the reason why bitcoin would pump and think only about the reds

Here is why you should own bitcoin and less Fiat. More crypto currencies but fewer bank accounts..that's my way. I'm doing my best to reduce my use of banks. Although it may be impossible to boycott the banks but I can limit my use of traditional banks
2946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Characteristics of good gamblers on: March 22, 2021, 07:26:44 PM
To be a good gambler you will have to master how to deal with the wins and the losses. there's a saying that goes "The house always wins". Most of the casino games are rigged to favor management.  You will have winning days and losing days no matter what you do. Try not to let your emotions get the best of you. ... Good gamblers are not controlled by their emotions. They follow certain principles that work for them. They stick to their plan and sometimes improvise when necessary. Successful gambling is not  easy to achieve

There are a couple of good crypto books out there like bitcoin for dummies, digital gold and so on. You could also watch YouTube videos, subscribe to a crypto channel. In a month your crypto knowledge would have improved.

Ndidi has to be one of the top 5 defensive midfielders in the world at the moment. He was everywhere. I have to say Brendan Rogers is highly underrated. He is one if the Best English managers in the EPL.  The man knows football unlike his counterpart Ole Gunnar who decided to be a complete disappointed yesterday. Ole showed poor tactical knowledge and knowledge about his players strength and weaknesses. Playing Pogba on that wing was a terrible idea. Ole could have done better. He should do better

There are a lot of scammers in telegram especially with Polkadot project. I had been invited by a Polkadot airdrop group several times and no matter how many times I report it as spam it keeps on appearing on my telegram account. I am careful when I am using telegram, this is a good platform to join crypto group but this is also home for scammers. Just be cautious.
It is not particular to Polkadot project. Scammers will jump on anything. I even saw a post about a fake bitcointalk site..these guys are working real hard to step up their game. We just have to be smarter and careful with what we do. Telegram is flooded with scam groups..it has become a safe haven for scammers. They are quick to send a pm telling you of a life changing investment where you can earn x10 of your capital in hours lol..no jokes people fall for it.

The pandemic is not blessing for us but we have seen a huge change of Bitcoin price and broke all the records before. In this time of a year ago with compared to the present time, we can see a huge change and Bitcoin is up almost 1400%. Isn't it huge?

Yes bitcoin has been doing great but I don't believe the pandemic had anything to do with the surge in bitcoin price. We had a good buy order chance in march 2020. The increase in bitcoin price was kind of expected after the halving last year but no one could have guessed right.
For me bitcoin is more of a store value...I rather save my money in btc than fiat. Scalping quick gains can be seductive but I prefer to hodl. There was lot of bitcoin talk and activity at the beginning of the year. People were worried if 2021 was going to be a repetition of 2017 but bitcoin just kept going up. Institutional buyers were pouring in and $100k didn't seem like a faraway dream anymore.

Welcome Caross, few months ago I was a newbie like you are right now. The forum will be of great help to you in your crypto journey. I'm a testimony of that fact. A lot of people have mentioned your email being public. I hope you sort that out soon.
My advice to you for starters is Read more and post less. You will find most of the questions you want to ask are already been dealt with previously on the forum. Don't be in a hurry to create a thread or topic, since you're new learn how to make quality posts so you're not tagged as a shit poster. If you do post, read the comments on your post you just might learn a thing or two. Also read the rules of the bitcointalk forum. I think there is a thread for that one. Last but not least avoid bounty and focus on learning.
2952  Other / Beginners & Help / [Guide] How to use Blockchain Explorer to check status of your transaction on: March 22, 2021, 02:43:44 AM
If you're a p2p trader, you should learn to utilize the block explorer to check on the status of their transactions. Once a transaction is initiated, the user will receive an automatically-generated transaction hash from blockchain and can use it to look up details of the payment and whether it was successful. This will help you avoid falling for flash coin scams and others.
link

This is the home page you see when you click on https://www.blockchain.com/explorer.

To check the transactions made on a wallet address. Click on the search bar and paste the address. Note that the search bar is set to search the Bitcoin blockchain by default, but you also can search the Ethereum blockchains by clicking on the small arrow and making your selection on the dropdown menu.

You can confirm whether the coin you are waiting on has arrived yet by pasting their wallet address into the search bar.
After entering the address. It takes you to the next page where you can see all transactions made on that address and you can easily pin point yours and see the status of your coin if it has confirmed or not.

On the image, the 0.00107 btc is yet to be confirmed by the blockchain network and needs at least four confirmation.

source
The green shows that the bitcoin has been confirmed by the blockchain network. You're good to go!

Such scam should be easy to spot on. Nobody is that gullible...even though the crypto space is new and might be challenging to grab on quickly, there's no excuse for losing your money to such scams.
I'd you're selling bitcoin through p2p its best you use Escrow to make the transaction. That way both parties are safe from such difficulties for the both parties. Needless to say for newbies the crypto space can feel like "Alice in wonderland" but it will all come together with time. Ask questions if you are confused or not sure what to do. I believe that's what this section was created for. You can't be a mbee of this forum and still fall victim to scammers. No need to be ashamed if you have been scammed. It has happened to the best of us.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 22, 2021, 01:28:33 AM

Leaving all the "arsenal is a better team historically" things aside because we all know that history means nothing and west ham is 5th while arsenal is 10th in the league right now so that doesn't mean anything at all that Arsenal was more successful in the past.
Arsenal like the other big teams in the premier league do have a rich history. I can think back to the days of Thierry Henry and Nwankwo Kanu. It was a blast to watch the gunners play. Arsene Wenger was the best manager for the club. He understood what the club wanted and the business side of things. Right now the gunners are no where near what they used to be. But for the fans in times like this its no shame to pride in past glories
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 21, 2021, 09:40:45 PM
Arsenal did a great job coming back from a deficit. It was second time they avoided a loss coming back from deficit. In previous round it was Spurs who lost and now they totally nullified the 3 goal advantage Hammers were enjoying at a point. Arsenal are attacking great and they have been pushing their opponents deep. It is a great sign and would have turned out great if they avoided those early goals today. Nothing can be changed now but Gunners did a great job today.
Well, two own goals isn't necessarily a great job. Arsenal are generally slow starters but today's performance was appalling. However, we must give them credit for showing character and resilience but why dig a hole for yourself in the first place. Bottom line is that Arsenal is a highly inconsistent team and I won't be surprise if they go and keep a clean sheet with the same defense against Liverpool in the next match day. West Ham should be done better securing their lead...what happened today was a shocker. But hey this is football...worse still the EPL anything can happen.

Fans all over the world are in tears. Losing to Leicester City is a heart breaker. Ole should be made to pay for this. He has to go. No good manager would bench his best players for such an important game.
What was he thinking? why on earth did Ole rest players, when international break is just around the corner.
He is a weak manager and needs to go!! Ole won’t bring Man Utd any trophy. He will never learn, how can he just have a starting line up of weak players hopping that they’ll prove themselves. I knew we lost this game when I saw the line up team. It was over before it even started. Ole should have brought in Bruno and Pogba from the start. Bringing them in late in the game couldn't help. Marc is done and VDB is not starter. He needs to come in as a sub. I repeat Ole needs to go!!!
2957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 21, 2021, 08:57:16 PM
I don't think Dean Henderson can take too much of the blame for Manchester United's loss today, goalkeepers can't keep every shot out, and once in a while they can make a mistake, even David De Gea has made his own fair share of mistakes down the years, Henderson will gradually outgrow little errors and become a great goalkeeper, I'm pretty sure of that as his talent is evident.
De Gea wouldn't have conceded that goal no matter what. I agree that Henderson is a good goal keeper as I stated earlier but he has to work hard. He has got big shoes to fill. De Gea was a legend for the red devils and his legacy will live on. Now is Henderson chance to make his mark.

I don't know if OGS is solely to blame for today's loss, but one thing I'm sure of, and I've said times without number is that I don't fancy United's chances of winning trophies or being successful under OGS tutelage, It looks like the United board are ready to give him another year in charge, imo, they'll still end up pretty much the same way.
OGS is tactically naive. This is a match against a top team, not a lower league team. The international break starts immediately, so why rest players? He had no reason to drop Fernandes. He stubbornly kept Pogba on the left wing which invariably led to Pogba drifting inside leaving the left side open. Why overload the midfield when Leicester can easily bypass it with a long ball to Vardy? He played 4 slow CMs and they failed in protecting the back line. Leicester should have had more goals.

Secondly

I like Kelechi Iheanacho's current playing form, i think there is a really bright future ahead for him. What do you think?
Kelechi Iheanacho is a different player now. I hope this is not one time fluke and he keeps this form in coming games. Iheanacho molested Maguire today. He kept bringing him out of position.
Well, given the quality that Jamie Vardy has shown over the past 5 seasons, it would be very difficult for Iheanacho to displace him as the top striker in the Leicester squad. Vardy is having a torrid time in front of goal, he probably has forgotten how to score lol and Iheanacho is having a purple patch but we mustn't get carried away. As they say, "form is temporary but class is permanent" and Iheanacho has been too inconsistent over the years. Brendan Rogers would be a better judge of the two players

2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 21, 2021, 08:13:41 PM
Manchester United made a terrible mistake by not starting Bruno Fernandes, they substituted him into the game too late. Manchester United without Bruno Fernandes is an absolute joke. Telles and Van de Beek should remain on the beach. I pray Ole soon come to realize that Fred and Martial are Bolton quality. .Ole Gunnar starting 4 central midfielders in a match was just reckless. They had no width to exploit Leicester's defense. Dean is a good goal keeper but not a great one. He should have stopped Tielemans shot. Ole is to blame for Manchester United's loss. His poor management and tactical skill was evident in today's game. I can't see this coach winning us a trophy. Ole Gunnar should have started Bruno Fernades. PERIOD!!!

Southampton is having a blast here with a 3-0 lead over Bournemouth! This game is a walk in the park for Southampton. They are taking no chances...the Saints are displaying a show of brilliant football and I'm loving it. Two spectacular goals from Redmond...So glad I didn't miss this one..two incredible goals
Seems like Southampton isn't having any luck with VAR today lol. The Saints have been denied two goals due to offside calls by VAR but good game though. I can already see Southampton in the semi finals. The Saints are in the semi finals!!!!
