2941  Economy / Economics / Re: Global inflation rate from 2017 to 2027(compared to previous year) on: August 30, 2022, 06:50:45 PM
Inflation is planned ahead of time and sometimes they have the term "healthy inflation" there has to be inflation for the growth of economy but what is happening right now is not healthy since this is due to massive printing and WEF plans.

Healthy or not healthy to me inflation is inflation and the opposite of it will always remain to be deflation, its not what anyone could expect to come into a system just like that without leaving a negative influence because it rises alone is a bad signal not to talk of it impact on the economy progress else, things could have been running as expected without inflation if there have not been lapses in balancing the economy in terms of demand and supply.

BTC can be a hedge but don't take away gold for you diversification. Its proven to be stable since time.

Bitcoin and gold could stand a better option here but bitcoin will be more preferred because of profitability.
2942  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: August 30, 2022, 06:37:56 PM

source

This is what i mean when i say bitcoin isn't loosing value but USD may be with time, inflation is the number one evidence to proof it, bitcoin cannot be a fixed value because all theories about volatility will come to an end and turn lies, after the whole blocks had been mined, quite alright miners will depend on incentives from transaction fees to earn profits but bitcoin will be independently controlled the more and everyone will tend to sell at his convenient prize, the network will still remain volatile and the price will continue to rise and fall just as it has always been, i believe volatility is one of the distinct difference bitcoin has over fiat as well.
2943  Economy / Reputation / Re: Display Name changed from "COOLCRYPTOVATOR" to "The Cryptovator" | Tnx Theymos on: August 29, 2022, 08:57:40 PM
My current display name is The Cryptovator

I have to say this that I don't know a username could be changed or that a user could make an appeal for that to the Admin and am sure your reasons must be so convincing enough to have been granted such opportunity, well the two names looks ok to me bith the former and the new one, but we must always bears in mind that this forum is open to all who find it of a good benefits across the whole world, while some just come across it while trolling and surfing the internet, our motives, objectives amd calibre of users are entirely different.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Bons baseless criticisms on: August 29, 2022, 08:18:47 PM
Everyone sees whatsoever thing they bids for as the right thing and consider the ones they don't like and antagonize them, we all seems right at some point in life in our oen eye ehile others see a lot of wrongs allover, as the case of Justin Bons, he has said his own o the best of his knowledge but what others feels about him is the judgement that justify what he had been saying, but the advice here is that, it's always good to hear feedback about our actions as we progress in life.
2945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be worth zero? on: August 29, 2022, 08:12:01 PM
We all know how volatile and unpredictable the cryptocurrency market can be. One month, a coin may be at its peak of value, and the next, it may have almost no value at all.

When you're reading about bitcoin am sure you've come across the word volatile, this is what is common with the currency and it does not do it harm or bad in any way, it rather give room to enter into the market and proceed with the moves, but what many lack is the understanding of how the market runs, bitcoin is entirely different from fiat currency, and not until the Knowledge is being acquired along with some years of experience it may be so difficult not to have it all in a bad way.

But what would happen if the oldest and most valuable asset on the market, Bitcoin, dropped to zero?

I don't think this is a possibility for now because bitcoin has come and to stay.
2946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dip, Dipper, Dippest on: August 28, 2022, 09:39:53 PM
A couple of weeks ago I was excited that bitcoin price had gained 23k+. I was positive that it was going to at least stay steady at that point for some and the go up gradually

If your presumption isn't accurate now doesn't mean it won't later be, the thing is we don't know when exactly the time will be for the bullrun to begin, but if i were you i will rather assume the whole year to move around that same range of $23k to $30k before we begin to het closer to halving.

Bitcoin doesn't hit $11,000. For if it does, the sound of me patting myself on the back will be heard around the world

You don't have to panic for nothing as long ad the rise is guaranteed

(I do not check the price daily. Is this normal?)

That isn't good enough especially if you're a trader

But why can't the price stay steady?

Because of volatility which is one of the reasons you wish to hold your coins as well, in other to make profit through volatility
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: August 28, 2022, 09:09:51 PM
Through an internet source came across the above details about El Salvador. This is completely getting better with time, and for a country with 7 million population it is placed at a good position.

Then if i may ask that where are the haters getting their fake news about El-Savador from? I just want to believe it's this same internet we all use, i think by niw we all should learn to overlook some unrealistic news flooding the internet about El-Savador and have only but few reliable source from where we read updates, its a thing of joy as hearing this about El-Savador.

This change have happened after Bukele into the administration

Bukele is a man with foresights and focus, who don't listen to noises around the world.

On the support for business El Salvador ranks high close to the top 50 which is also a good thing. For different reasons it is into criticism, even at such situation it is growing rapidly.

Am sure when some begin to see El-Savador making it good from bitcoin adoption with evident results, maybe by then they will also be forced to accept bitcoin.
2948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you exchange Fiat for Crypto or Vice Versa? on: August 28, 2022, 08:47:58 PM
Whether you work for Fiat or Crypto, most people have to exchange in order to pay bills or survive.

What's your Fiat/Crypto situation?

If you're having your bitcoin with you, then this is the best time to practice how to hodl and not just holding but very tight, this bear season  will soon pass, the history of bitcoin is a proof to this amd it will surely repeated itself, if having some cash with you, then it's time to avoid inflation by investing on bitcoin now that it is dip, it's a good sign indicating for a new set in, if you hold fiat then you stand a chance to loose but bitcoin has much tendencies to profitability, so hold on bitcoin.
2949  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is United States on the verge of a civil war? on: August 27, 2022, 10:18:36 PM
I see the the driving force for the two as different from each other, let's take a look at inflation, many factors as a result of pandemic and war, this are as a result of demand and supply that cut short within a specific time, causing the price of a commodity to rise or fall base on the availability of the market, civil war is mostly cause by inter geopolitical affairs between countries resulting to dispute thereby causing the strong nation or country exercising power, rule or mastery over the weak resulting into conflict that turns into war over a prolonged duration.
2950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion about USA vs CHINA on: August 27, 2022, 09:41:05 PM
Currently now I think China is leading in terms of the economy and if US must over take it then it needed to work much on its system within in terms of population growth and GDP, i believe that US can make something good out in taking drastic steps and 20 years is good enough to make the difference in margin from China, but the two of th are going to be pretty contending enough beyond ordinary thought and expectation.
2951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you all ignore alternative tech on Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2022, 08:48:18 PM
Why do you think bitcoin stands a unique digital currency amidst other cryptocurrencies, the reason is what you see below here as the fact, take a look.

https://twitter.com/tradingview/status/1563167271987515393?t=q3lvg9uHcjz39SS0Lk-zFg&s=19]

This is the real explanation between bitcoin and altcoins, you can see the difference clear enough, the first queue is the one with green which is the bitcoin lane, while the other is the red indicating altcoins lane respectively, you can judge with the end result all by yourself to choose where to belong.
2952  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Could this be the cause why Nigeria is undeveloped? on: August 26, 2022, 07:06:42 PM
Yes the British strategies in the administration of Nigeria was very faulty, especially the amalgamation of Nigeria, without considering the historical, political and cultural differences of the diverse ethnic groups

I totally disaggree with this, the British had already a good plan for the people and wjat they did was to follow the suit of the so called our corrupt leader who are selfish enough to think things aren't far beyond the little view they see, in lieu of this, the British only perform on our leaders request (that's those representing us) just as it was done during the indepence, ee make the request ourselves not that they made mentioned that they were tired, in fact they have handed over to Nigeria it's freedom right before indepence that's why you see the British struggle not in giving us freedom of Independence when we eventually demand for it.

Yes we can affirm that the British exploited their colonies gravely. But that can never be the reason for Nigeria's economic woes. Egypt, Uganda, South Africa, Gambia,  Botswana, Ghana, and Malawi were all colonies of British. And we can confirm that some of these nations are doing well economically than Nigeria. One of the greatest asset of failures is complain. Nigeria have gotten almost 62 years since independence to solve it problems, yet it seems the nation is just confused. Nigeria's problem is not colonialism, it's just corrupt and visionless leaders

Blame two things here, our corrupt leaders right from time, then the country's immaturity as at the time of demanding for indepence, all the benefits Nigerians got during the British colony aren't they far better than the current predicament we all suffers, no free education anymore, government schools pays school fees, increasing terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, religious crisis, inflation, poverty, unemployment, let me just pause here never to mind in going deep with the system of politics and godfatherism, are these all what the British taught before they left?
2953  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fortunejack turning into KYC hell! on: August 26, 2022, 06:43:33 PM
I was a member of fortunejack website for years but recently they made some changes and they are becoming very strict with their KYC policy.

I don't think fortunejack is the only one that requires KYC, the truth is that they might be linient about the whole stuff when i user newly register with them but as times goes they will require KYC in other for them to unlock some features for you, i think instead of giving fake details it's better to source for alternative

After trying to withdraw 10 mBTC to different casino I had to wait for hours and I received email asking me to complete kyc if I want to withdraw my coins.

if this is your first time of performing this function then you'd better get used to the system, most casinos will do that as well except for the ones that are truly KYC free

ignoring and not talking with people is really low from them

some of their customer support services are automated with response and the few that converse lively with you eventually do hang up along the line or switch to robot mode with same automated response that can be tiring and frustrating.
2954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: August 26, 2022, 06:28:50 PM
Based on the utility and scarce amount of Bitcoin, it holds great potential.

That's true, this potential has the capability to influence change but cannot be changed by fiat economy, bitcoin is built on a network protocols that supercede local currencies and the value created with this digital currency is extraordinarily superb such that it does not deminish with time, bitcoin has come and its staying for live, this is the only currency that has succeeded after the introduction of fiat and make hold.
2955  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: August 25, 2022, 09:07:08 PM
I don’t understand how real referral links work when it comes to the fact that a large number of your friends and acquaintances go to the site using the link that you sent them.

It seems to me that this, in a sense, negatively affects your image with these acquaintances of yours. Especially if they are not interested in the whole gambling industry at all. You need to think carefully before sending them such links.
It is possible that you will lose more than gain from these links.

Till now it still surprise me seing some gamblers not knowing their limitations and place caution for adequate moderation where applicable, how can you send a referral link of a casino to a family member or friend whom you know does not have passion for gambling, some are really to be blame of the consequences to their wrong action or moves, while for those that could not but fo this referral of a thing then they should first seek consent before sending, meanwhile i want to believe many of the referral system less function to expectations at the end, everything resulted to wasted efforts in some cases.
2956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curious Question About Making First or Second Page on a Thread on: August 25, 2022, 04:40:44 PM
I am unhappy most times when I miss posting a reply on the first or second page of a thread

Why should you, it isn't a competition anyways, remember the number of users that are actively online every minutes, you can also do yourself a favor by just clicking on the notify me botton which automatically sends you notifications on your mail on every new created threads on the selected board.

This is because I think that my response may be a repetition

It's never a must to comment on a post if you think you got nothing new to reply aside the ones posted, we have a lot of threads, boards and sections where you can finds your reply important

some certain users such as mk4, Lucius, NotATether, jackg, Fivestar4everMVP, Upgrade00, Poker Player, *franky1, NeuroticFish, pooya87,hatshepsut93,hugeblack,GreatArkansas and a couple of others usually make either first or second page on most of the boards. Is this because they feel the same way as I do or because their signature campaign requires that they make first or sencond page

Nothing hard in achieving posting first on a thread than replying to the thread immediately after the thread was created but must be a quality post, whereas no any campaign requires that you post first, just be active online with your data always on, track a board and you're good.

I know that franky1 is not in any signature campaign so I am curious to know. Is this normal? And are there other users who feel this same way too?

There are many users that post regularly and were very active on the forum and does not join a signature campaign, JayJuanGee is another example among others, remember everyone has different motives for coming on board here, i advise you discover yours as well.
2957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Nakamoto have only 1.1 million Bitcoin ? on: August 25, 2022, 03:49:40 PM
Does Satoshi Nakamoto have only 1.1 million Bitcoin ?

What does knowing this contributed to you, lots has been said already about Satoshi bitcoin wallet, something that gibes no share or portion of stash to your own wallet, why not dl away with some worries that deserves less attention like related news in this manners

He is the inventor of Bitcoin

Ordinary high school student know about this, what's in new here?

What is the truth

The truth is that not everything said about Satoshi is true including those that make the claim to be Satoshi, all fake, don't believe much on influential news

I wish I could have the chance to know it from 3 Jauary 2011. Then I could have mine at list 2 million by 2022

I hope you understand that mining isn't just a child's play, it requires alot and that's why you hardly have an encounter with miners because they are such that are always busy having all hands on desk, not only that but they are truly sound in reasoning and in solving complex mathematical equations.
2958  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: August 24, 2022, 08:34:34 AM
El Salvador adopted Bitcoin too early, since most people within the country don't use technology on a daily basis

Do you really mean that, too early? can we compare the rate of those that actually benefiting to those not, if we consider the total population in El-Savador, the young are young adults are the ones that fully engaged in tech activities and make use of the media most while the aged and young children are just but a few population compared to the ones that take advantage in using bitcoin for their daily businesses and economy affairs, with this adoption in El-Savador, it will rather increases more development by extending bitcoin knowledge to the young ones right from tender age and the adults as well never to miss out the opportunity for an asset to be left behind for their heirs inheritance.

The vast majority uses paper money (USD) for day-to-day payments

yet a good number of this set of people still have bitcoins in their wallet they make use of saliently for either payments where it is acceptable or for an asset because they understand the future that awaits them in doing so

Now that Bitcoin is in "bearish mode", less people will be interested in adopting the cryptocurrency as an alternative to Fiat. We're going to have to wait until the next bull market, to see how adoption for BTC would grow within the country.

but that's totally wrong, if they should set in, then this is the most appropriate time to do so while on dip, waiting till bullrun occur could have renders many opportunities wasted before then and what if during the bullrun comes in another bearish while they just set in, it will rather be more discouraging than ever.
2959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are all Hodlonaut on: August 24, 2022, 08:05:41 AM
so if anyone wanted to argue CSW case about "moving 'bitcoin' to csw address. the solution is simple.. tell CSW to do it on the network he considers his true bitcoin..
He already did that: https://bitcoinassociation.net/bitcoin-association-for-bsv-tulip-trading-ltd-settlement-statement-and-faq/
Not much to be gained from stealing a million coins of a shitcoin which is worth 1/500th of what bitcoin is worth and has no real volume so couldn't be sold to anyone anyway. Which is why he needs to continue attacking real bitcoin.

Another thing Craig has failed to understand in this whole situation is that he is not the first to be claiming Satoshi and all the terms giving for him to prove that he couldn't, am very sure of Satoshi has his account on the forum here which has been inactive for some while, he should make publication about it and just make it active for once, he didn't need to bother with the signing of message through his address.

I read that post, but I was interested in your opinion, considering that they all cited some completely different things as the reasons for their actions without publicly saying that the real reason is what Faketoshi is doing. However, some things are much clearer now, because Faketoshi knows exactly where to direct his attacks and they obviously bring results - only one more question remains, is he doing it alone or does he have some very powerful allies operating from the shadows?
I'm not 100% sure, but even if you think CSW has had no impact on any developers yet, it is easy to see how one or more developers could decide to protect themselves from his litigation by either reactively or preemptively cease their involvement with bitcoin. It is clear CSW is being bankrolled by Calvin Ayre, and therefore has the whole CoinGeek entity and its employees doing his bidding and repeating/publishing what they are told to.

The real Satoshi couldn't have gone this far relying on centralized system to defend himself, Craig will definitely regret some of his deals with CoinGeek later

This is a sad scenario. I remember once asking on the forum why everyone not just ignore CSW and the other people impersonating Satoshi. I got my answer in that thread, on how they can spread narratives and with enough back up from the media control those narratives.

The shame here is that he might actually want to back off the case but the nuisance he had started has gone beyond his control, but instead of staying mute about it all he keeps further displaying how curious his stupidity is, there must be a media advantage he possibly aimed at getting in doing this.
2960  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: August 23, 2022, 11:06:52 AM
What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

Fishing games and fire fighters games, I've seen alot of people that have interest in fishing activities, sailing through the river for adventure and the fun in fishing through this whole process, when there are games that makes you perform those same functions in fishing will make more sense in playing them as games, for those who are fire hunters/fighters, this is also a good moments to perform those things they do in real life with games, it can also help in teaching techniques to approach a fire bursting incident with safety precautions.
