2941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Cash out or wait till the end on: November 11, 2022, 10:25:59 AM
Menh it is no easy to be a gambler. Well that the life
"NO RISK NO GAIN"

recently I placed a bet on different soccer games and I  staked it with about $70 on accumulated odd of 10.36 which came out a total of $725.

After placing my bet I later check back on the games in my account to monitor the success of my predictions and I opened the betslip and I  was given a  cash out of about $389 and the matches remaining was just one game  so I decided not to take the it...i decided to be a  brave gambler and wait for the last game to be concluded and then collect the full money

But the last  game didn't turn out the way I wanted it and I lost that $389

I have faced similar situation before and most times I often collect the cash that comes as a  cash out then the result of the Last match turns out correct and instead of having the whole money I miss out and get a  little chunk of it..

So what would you would advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash out or wait for the full cash
2942  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a Great Chance to Buy Bitcoin before 25 December Bitcoin High Jump ^ on: November 10, 2022, 08:55:35 PM
It is good time to buy in some BTC now, but price might go down more.
That's the mindset of someone who doesn't want to take the risk and hold until you see the price jump high

Imagine thinking it will go down more which possibly you might be correct but how sure are you to know when the price will jump up..

So if you want to buy, now is a good opportunity to stock as much BTC you can get your hands on and hold for the  bull market
2943  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is suicide the best option? on: November 10, 2022, 04:54:27 PM
Well suicide is never an option and I don't think  it's even right according to religious scriptures for one to take his own life

As Humans we can always adapt to any situation despite the rainy and  Hard times one might be facing. Just look at this logic if you are dead that doesn't solve your problems and you know what you might face after death and once their is life HOPE comes With it

It's  better to hope than to end your life
2944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 10, 2022, 04:38:29 PM
The GUNNERS are really putting on a  good impression and I think last night loss against Brighton should actually be put back. They should continue their good form because for now I think they are only team that can handle the heat Manchester City is bringing to league.

Arsenal have not contested for the league title for long now and I think this year they can actually get a short at it, that's only  if arteta can be sure to straighten up his boys and continue their current form
2945  Other / Politics & Society / Ukraine get aids from EU and Uk in their war against Russia on: November 10, 2022, 04:06:12 PM
It has not been easy for those Ukrainian soldier holding the fight against Russia  and  now the EU and UK have decided to step up and aid them in various ways possible they feel they lack especially coming to this winter season

According to British secretary of defense Ben Wallace. He stated that "the United Kingdom would step up for the Ukrainian soldiers as they brace for a tough Winter of conflict" by providing them with the necessary gadgets and tools needed during their war against Russia

The Uk are also planning  to make an additional supply of 1000 surface to air missiles to help the Ukrainian in stopping the incoming drones from Russia in helping them fight the war.

2946  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin have a positive effect towards a country facing recession on: November 10, 2022, 03:16:21 PM
Sorry to hear about your regions bad conditions and I hope things get better gradually.

Bitcoin was created to counteract inflation and to bring the power back to the hands of the people instead of the banks. In case of a recession every commodity is going to be affected be it bitcoin or non-crypto. Because the people who are spending money to buy/sell them are also facing the same recession.

What you can do is cope with the current situation at hand, depending on where you live, it might be impossible to relocate, try to get a job or run a business from whatever you have at hand. Dont look at high risk investments at this point, thats suicide.

I suppose that's the only option because things are really hard and adapting is what we over here have been doing and will keep doing until we get out of the dark hole we have found ourselves

2948  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 10, 2022, 01:36:42 PM
For me I think it's far any longer because the one thing everyone should know about human is that humans always Find an alternative to change things around them and as well adapt to those changes so far as those changes will yield positive results

And crypto money seems to be the leading trend so its better for the banks to follow the moving train or stay left behind

Even country that have banned the use of bitcoin and all other crypto money will still swing it to this wonderful initiative is just a matter of time
2949  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: November 10, 2022, 01:06:01 PM
I think is money is virtually everything and you can be all powerful but still don't have enough funds which means your power is limited

Imagine a king who is ruling a community he has the power to make decisions in the community but what gives you that edge of complete power is MONEY
2950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Flood as a natural disaster and appropriate response. on: November 10, 2022, 12:57:34 PM
Flood is not an experience anyone would pray to encounter and I pray nobody should have such experience like I did with the flood that affected my locality this year

Like the (op) said it may come naturally or artificial by opening of dams. Whether it's comes normal or not it's ravaging effect  are still deadly
In my region this year we experienced a very big flood and it affected alot things namely
* people's dying
* wild animals in your domesticated houses(snakes)
* prices of goods and services
* people being displaced from their houses
* the high rate diseases and infections
* lost of crops and livestocks and so much more

2951  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope this Bitcoin dip won't be deeper? on: November 10, 2022, 12:42:03 PM
2022 is not over yet so we can't say for sure that this year is bitcoin's worst year, because in reality bitcoin continues to struggle to restore value even though it is very difficult and not as fast as when it was hype in 2020 yesterday,
when you enter and invest you should know the biggest risk of this investment, with patience and persistence you will definitely get a profit
so don't worry about the decline because the bitcoin cycle has been confirmed for 4 years
I agree with you 2022 is not over yet and this is not actually the worst year.. But unlike others I think we should see this as golden opportunity to invest because I know for sure it will certainly push up and one thing again is having the perseverance to wait and hold until the market goes up again so I think this is great for me

2953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC wallet disadvantages on: November 10, 2022, 12:08:01 PM

But, besides keeping your Bitcoins safe in a hardware or software wallet, you must keep your wallet's backup key and password at a secure place. The backup key is the most important part of your wallet, it can be used to restore your wallet when something goes wrong and if you lose your wallet. You must keep this backup key in a secure place like a safe so that no one can access it except you.

I don't know about this backup key. Is it an option they add in creating your wallet in a software wallet ..
I think I skipped or missed to add up a back up key to wallet
2954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC wallet disadvantages on: November 10, 2022, 12:03:34 PM
But the disadvantage is that this has led to many people loosing their Bitcoin in their wallet or should I say stuck with access to it.
If they will eliminate this security protocol you will make more disadvantages of the wallet.

I think this a good point because it would be a lot whole lot easier for hacker and scammer in the web to toil with  your wallets and eventually your BTC
2955  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply on: November 10, 2022, 11:57:33 AM
This is really an educative post and I have learnt alot from this post and that's the most interesting point about this forum. Before now I have another view towards inflation and deflation of an economy
2956  Economy / Economics / Can bitcoin have a positive effect towards a country facing recession on: November 10, 2022, 07:33:41 AM
My region has been deep into economic instability and facing economic crisis in various aspects and I want to know if there is any way bitcoin or crypto currency can help resolve the problems and revive the economy? I know that  bitcoin  didn't  come to the world  to take over fiat currency but is there anyway bitcoin  can resolve it?
2957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed on: November 10, 2022, 07:27:05 AM

2958  Other / Beginners & Help / BTC wallet disadvantages on: November 07, 2022, 10:41:23 PM
I know for security and safety reasons thats why Bitcoin wallet have been set to have the seed phrase security.
Which is supposed to be ones wallet security pin,but you know as humans forgetting and carelessness is a must in our nature.
But the disadvantage is that this has led to many people loosing their Bitcoin in their wallet or should I say stuck with access to it.
Since their is no way you can stair up a forgotten password option in the wallet app
2959  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Concept of bitcoin mining on: September 14, 2022, 11:37:52 AM

2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man lost everything to Crypto on: July 15, 2022, 07:05:58 AM
Real-time incident of an user who trained himself to be a trader. Got addicted and lost everything. Steven is the person who kept adding more cryptocurrency to his portfolio. In an interview he mentioned drug, cryptocurrency and alcohol has destroyed his life. In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins. He don't know any information about the addresses and now struggling to recover it.

He says trading is gambling. He has learnt by his own and has always been a good trader. Now he spends day in one of the rehabilitation centre in Scotland.

Data : Man Lost Everything to Crypto
this doesn't add up..he lost everything to crypto or trading.how? and why the addresses  mentioned in the storyline. I think may be he was defrauded to sending  his btc to someone his doesn't know claiming to be something or someone else promising him more profits.. The reason for this  because me myself I have had similar encounter with this fraudsters online... Maybe I suppose if this story of losing everything is true then maybe that's what might have happened to Steven
