2941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why only Bitvest and 777Coin on: August 08, 2020, 06:54:33 AM
I roam around this forum although I seldom post and I notice that Bitvest and 777Coin upon checking are the two signature campaigns in the gambling industry with the longest campaign and with so many participants.

= Are they the only gambling sites that really make a profit from gambling
= Why other campaigns only last 2 to 5 weeks why they cannot sustain
= How can Bitvest and 777Coin sustain the campaign

even non-participants of these two campaigns can answer because I believe many of you here become part of the campaigns one time or another.
1. No, lol. They aren't the only gambing site that are making profit. Most of the well known casinos over here are making profit!
2. Because they think they have advertised enough or they aren't attracting any more "new" players from the forum. They think it is better to focus advertisement somewhere else.
3. From the profit they make from their casino.

Just looking at how long a signature campaign runs isn't the best way to know if a casino is active or not. You might want to look at their ANN thread. CryptoGames also has one of the most longest signature campaign (they also had an old thread, which probably got buried  by now  Smiley )
2942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 08, 2020, 06:47:13 AM
Since the casinos opened in the June , even though the cases of Corona virus were rising and it was deemed a bad idea by most , unfortunately the regulations did not go well.

Now the small business based casinos have urged the Government to spare them of Lawsuits that might cause their whole business to shut down.

Lawsuits like *I got infected here , there was no sanitization* and boom , you are in the news and finally the casino needs to be shut down.

-snip-
I don't see what is wrong over here. They are failing to follow the laws, rules and regulation. Hence they are getting shutdown. I am pretty sure they probably agreed to all the conditions on how to operate the casino during this pandemic (sanitization, social distancing and so on) before being allowed to reopen.
And now they are trying to pass a law so that the "frivolous" laws don't shutdown them? The lawmakers never fail to amuse me.
2943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Finding Altcoins With Potential on: August 07, 2020, 08:53:28 PM
Lol, as soon as you said something like "this is the 10x altcoin", we know you are shilling for the coin. Prices of most of the shit coins also rise like 10x, 20x and so on before dying. The price gets manipulated by the developers who hold most of the coins. They cause the price to rise and then they dump the coins. If a price skyrocket it does not mean that it is a good coin! Stop shilling for shitcoins.
2944  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com wallet issue on: August 07, 2020, 08:03:31 PM
Dear community,

-snip-

TL; DR: Blockchain.com/info wallet not receiving authorization mail anymore, no hack

I once used blockchain wallet for storing small amount of bitcoins. I remember facing the same issue few years ago (when they were known as blockchain.info and provided you with your own private keys! I don't know why, but they don't do that anymore. Though you get your phrase which can be used to backup your wallet)! I wouldn't receive my authorization email. I had the application on phone installed too but had sms 2fa enabled. Didn't receive any sms. I was locked out from my own wallet for more than a day. I tried contacting support. Received a reply after few days saying that everything is working fine and I am accessing my wallet. LOL. Of course I was able to get into my wallet after a day!
You can try creating a new account and see if that account receives the email or not. If it doesn't probably an error on their side.
Sorry missed your last post. Probably an isolated issue that happens quite often.
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 07, 2020, 07:15:41 PM
I very recently read a news regarding how one has to prove that , they can afford the loss of even 100 euro.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266925.msg54941310#msg54941310

Now I was going through the news and found some indepth idea of how the casinos will be regulated online. The one am sharing is regarding the slot games being regulated online in Great Britain.

https://www.gamblingnews.com/news/slot-games-in-gb-to-receive-betting-and-deposit-limit-suggests-a-new-report/

-Mandatory limit between 1£-5£
-Soft cap of 100£ monthly

-snip-

I am not sure why others are saying this is going to be a good thing, but to me this law is totally stupid and absurd. Lol, seriously? One has to prove that they are financially capable of gambling? That is hilarious!
Lol the government trying to control the financial aspects of a grown up adult. I mean the person is an adult and he knows what he should do and what he shouldn't. The government shouldn't be taking care of them like a baby.
2946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing In Crypto Genuine Better Than Trading Forex on: August 07, 2020, 06:54:25 AM
Since January this year, I have been trading forex as a second passive income earning. After making some money in crypto I venture into trading forex, but I got my finger burnt. I wasted a lot of money without making a single profit. I regretted this venture. I have come into conclusion that investing in the genuine crypto project is far better than trading forex.  The risk in trading forex is higher than investing in a genuine crypto project.
All kind of investment and trading has risks. You can't say crypto trading is better than forex or vise versa. Each has their pros and cons.
If you aren't making any profit in forex, what makes you sure that you will be making profit by trading crypto currencies? You are also planning to invest on crypto projects. Around 90% of the projects in the crypto market are scams. So high chances you will be losing money.
2947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 07, 2020, 06:41:20 AM
Is it some random projects you have joined? Since there there isn't much progress, dumb those coins. Eventually the project will stop developing at all and the devs might start dumping the tokens/coins they hold. The coins will end up with no value and die.
It is better to dump it if it still has some values. And buy some well known coins like BTC and ETH.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Etherium will now be the right decision? on: August 06, 2020, 08:44:39 PM
It is never late! Though you would have made more profit if you invested earlier, but you didn't. You kept on waiting for the price to drop more or you were afraid to invest on when the price was going to low. Now you see the price rising, you want to invest in it. So just invest if you believe the price is going to rise further or you will be regretting later.
Ethereum isn't a shit coin. So even if the price drops down after you invest, don't sell it. Hold it till it recovers and starts rising again.
2949  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you learn so you never get affected by a economic crises ? on: August 06, 2020, 08:35:18 PM
There is no way you cannot make yourself invulnerable to economic crisis. Economic crisis is bound to happen again and again during some point of your life. This is how it works. If there were no crisis at all, there wouldn't be any balance in the economy.
What we can do is reduce the damage of the economic crisis by taking proper steps. Just remember, profit and loss balances out each other. One mans profit is another mans loss.
2950  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: August 06, 2020, 08:31:28 PM
Freer market means freer people. More freedom for them to do their crimes. I know people needs to be given freedom, but not everyone is like us. There are people who will start abusing their freedom. We should probably see how badly it is going to affect us when there is no regulation at all. Can people be trusted with total freedom?
Lol, no bitcoin is not a completely liberal currency. It is regulated and usage has restrictions just like normal currency.
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New normal world will make crypto better on: August 06, 2020, 08:10:13 PM
I think covid has come as a blessing in disguise for crypt market. With so many businesses going out of real world they are being forced to figure out new ways to come up with. This allows people to familiarise themselves with crypto as an option for payment for their businesses. If things go correctly this can actually boost the adoption by at least 40% if not more.
It has come as a blessing? In what way? By killing thousands of people? Please stop saying the virus is a blessing.
How is it helping those businesses that are failing? How is bitcoin bringing new ways? Accept bitcoin as payment? Well, they could have done the same thing using paypal and I am pretty much sure more people would be preferring paypal.
But yeah, if they add bitcoin as an option, at lease people will get to know that bitcoin can be used as a medium of exchange other than store of value. But, I doubt it is going to boost the adoption rate to 40% as you mentioned.
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth paying to advertise your ref link? on: August 06, 2020, 07:02:30 AM
It definitely is worth it if you advertise for the right way. You should look at the right audience if you want to advertise your referral link. If you advertise your gambling affiliate link through blog posts, personal website or forums, you will get lot of referrals, and one day a high roller might join through your referral link and you will be earning a lot.
If it is your faucet affiliate link, then not sure if it is going to be worth it, unless you get 100s of affiliate you are regular.
2953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 6 cryptocurrency , Invest in 2020 on: August 05, 2020, 08:43:35 PM
Lol, sounds like you are shilling for titan coin. You kept titancoin above all other well known coins like BTC, ETH and LTC. Did you just add those other coins so that people dont' get suspicious about your obvious shilling?
Instead of saying Titancoin is the best, it is going to be much better if you explain why you think it is going to be the best. At least put on some effort when trying to shill for a coin.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 05, 2020, 08:38:55 PM

What if, for example - like after that twitter hack - the President wakes up (in a bad mood) and decides with an executive order to make all crypto illegal in the USA?

Of course this probably will never happen in today's world, as the there is big money is invested into crypto currencies; but do you ever think that it is even remotely possible...

Or the next elected president is so "old school" and decides that crypto needs to go?

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?
I doubt any President would wake up next day and say "Ban bitcoin" unless the country is under a dictatorship. It is not that easy to pass a law.
The government can't ban cryptocurrencies because it is decentralized but they can ban the usage. It is not something impossible though. There are few countries (mostly corrupted countries) that have completely banned the usage of bitcoin. Using it will get you thrown into the jail.
2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: August 05, 2020, 08:20:57 PM
Nothing new. Scams videos and channels like these can be seen every day. It has been going on for months. There was fake SpaceX channel too. They usually buy youtube channels with fake subscriber, change the name and then starts advertising these scams.
Sad people still fall for this kind of scams. I mean why would someone believe they will get free money for sending money to a random dude?
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 05, 2020, 08:16:51 PM
Yeah, maybe you shouldn't store all your bitcoin in one single place, but the explosion that happened was a rare case. We don't see everyday areas blowing up, houses getting destroyed or everything wiping out. But, I get what you want to say. Why take the chances? But, wouldn't it be harder to keep track of all your coins if you store it in different places.
And if my house blew up and people died, I wouldn't care about my bitcoins. I would be more concerned about the people who got hurt.
2957  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 04, 2020, 05:32:55 PM
Yeah, not surprising at all. People from most of the countries are stuck at home. They have nothing to do other than be "online". Those working from home are dependent on google meet, zoom, discord and other online services. Look at how quickly facebook for themselves the "room" feature. They know people will want to use it!
No more going to theaters, but spend more time watching videos at home through youtube, amazon prime or Netflix. The tech companies are raking it and since people started to like the services and got used to it, the companies will keep on raking even after this pandemic is over.
2958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: August 04, 2020, 05:08:34 PM
Nice tip and suggestions you have over there but you missed out to point the most basic mistake people when investing in crypto currencies. They forget to move their coins to a secured wallet of their own. A wallet where only they have access to their private keys.
Doesn't matter if your if you have 2 factor authentication enabled on your exchange account. If the exchange gets hacked, and loses everything, you will also lose all your coins! Look at those exchange hacks and how users were affected by it. Never hold your coin in an exchange after you are done trading.
2959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: August 04, 2020, 04:33:40 PM
To be a successful trader can not be instant, requires a long process. If you are just learning to trade for 2 weeks and want to
becoming a successful trader is clearly impossible. When learning to trade must be patient, and loss in trading is normal. Because
all traders experience losses, the most important thing is we can learn from the mistakes we make, so we don't lose anymore.
For newbie like you should stay away from trading bots, because you need to improve your skills first. For technical analysis you can
learn on the youtube platform, better explanation with videos.
You should stop considering "loss" a normal thing when trading. It is not normal when you keep on losing your money consecutively. You are making some mistakes and you should should try to fix those mistakes instead of thinking that it is totally a normal thing.
True, all traders make losses but at some point they manage to minimize it. I wouldn't say youtube is the best platform to learn. They tend to always shill for some coins or platforms they are affiliated with.
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Bitcoin on: August 04, 2020, 04:19:23 PM
We can see the new surge of bitcoin in crypto market . It exceed $10K  again and I believe many are earning now especially those with holding during the downtrend of bitcoin. But,to what extent bitcoin will raise more today?
Do you think ,what happened last 2018 will happen again this coming months?
What are the reason behind the rise of bitcoin?

Edit: Sorry for putting a wrong number on the value of bitcoin, I didn't mean it. It is just above $10K and not $500K.
I wrote this topic just for discussion in order to know the opinion and knowledge of everyone.
You are asking questions that no one can answer. When the price crashed back at the end of 2018, did anyone know that the price is going to crash? Nope. Some just speculated and got lucky while others were expecting the price to go even higher.
Google why the price of crypto currencies is going up. No one will be able to give you the exact reason, but you will be seeing various opinion from different news protals.
