I agree with you in many words, but I am still sure that constant games can cause addiction. For example, a person will play on the first weekend, then on the second, then again, and it turns out that he will already be constantly thinking on weekdays about how to relax on weekends. Therefore, it is better not only to limit yourself in the deposit, which is very useful, but also not to make the games permanent. We need to look for other sources of entertainment, and make sure that they can fully replace gambling.
This is the only way of self-control. Tough and hard.
And let it be hard, but no one can control us as much as we do. And the ability to control yourself is very important both in gambling and in any games.
It could happen to him, but it's all about how he can treat gambling because if he knows that gambling is just for fun, he won't overdo it and can keep his limits. I agree that we need to find other sources of entertainment so we don't depend on gambling, and the important thing is that our minds can be distracted from doing other things. This also helps us to be able to reduce the time we gamble, and maybe it can also prevent us from gambling addiction problems that can come at any time. It will be our responsibility to be responsible for what we do so that if it is gambling, we can prevent ourselves from gambling addiction.

Even though those traditional gambling users or people are still aware about online but still they've been staying up on things on which they had been get used to.Yes, in todays era and years which accessibility is

really that what makes things even more simple and accessible on which even doing gambling would really be on the palm of your hand and doing with few clicks and taps which it is really that giving out that
convenience and this is why there are lots who would really be that interested on doing such thing or engaging into it but as i said earlier that there would really be people who would
really be sticking on things that they've been get used to despite of the current advancement and changes that we do have today.

They do have their own cons and pros to each other on which means that its up to your own choice if we do speak about on where you would really be tending on spending up your leisure time
whether on physical or would be hanging out online.
But even though online casinos have grown as big as they are now, traditional casinos will still exist because traditional casinos still have their fans. They are the ones who will often visit traditional casinos because they can meet their opponents face to face and play gambling together. They don't experience this in online casinos, so they still go to traditional casinos anyway.

They can also meet friends who still frequent the traditional casino just to greet each other, enjoy the atmosphere at the casino and finally play gambling together again. Yes, online and traditional casinos have advantages and disadvantages, so that we will choose them as gamblers.

~snip~
Well, I don't know about any other person or people out here or there, for me in particular, I never knew anything about gambling online, that is like  playing slots, doing sports betting online, until the pandemic which locked us all inside our houses.

Over here in my area, there are betting shops scattered everywhere in the neighborhood, so I never really gave any attention to online gambling until the pandemic hit, and I tell you that, since the pandemic left and normalcy returned to our world again, I've never visited any of those betting shops, I've gotten really used to online gambling.
Sometimes we don't pay attention to what is around us and instead look for it in other places that may be far from us. It's like you don't know that there is a casino near your neighborhood, but you don't know about it at all. And it's normal if you don't visit traditional casinos even when the pandemic is gone because you have found comfort in playing gambling at online casinos. Maybe this also happens to people who have found comfort in gambling and don't want to move to another casino or use traditional casinos to gamble.
2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: July 12, 2023, 10:17:59 PM
~snip~
This has a point. It's still entirely up to you if you will give into the temptation of gambling. The advertisements are just there to encourage you but the decision still lies on your hands. Although having more and more ads in social media platforms and in the internet in general has its cons as well since not everyone has the capacity to be logical thinkers. There are minors lurking around the web which can stumble upon many ads about gambling that can affect their way of thinking even their decision making. Since adolescents mostly are impulsive and I'm saying this based on experience myself when I was younger. So, i think it's much better to have regulation of gambling advertisements so that there won't be too much of it and it can just reach the right target audience or market.
We must not give up and be tempted to visit advertisements for gambling sites, especially gambling sites that we don't know. There are lots of advertisements for gambling sites like that on the internet, and it requires caution in choosing one. The internet only provides a place to search, while social media sites or other sites are just a place to promote, so we have to filter them so we don't experience any fraud. And indeed, minors can easily find any advertisement online because they already know the device, namely the cellphone. They can search for any sites they want unlimitedly, and if they visit a gambling site, it can have a bad impact on them because curiosity will make them want to play gambling. This is what every parent should be aware of for their children.

Every gambler understood this benefit of online casinos when the pandemic hit the globe. Online gamblers knew this advantage from the day they tried it but, gambling at a physical casino and then gambling at an online casino is different. There is a completely different vibe when you are at an actual casino. I recently visited a neighboring country where physical casinos are available and I enjoyed it like anything. The sound, the excitement, the food, the crowd, and then the experience to use those gambling machines is worth trying your luck. It is once a lifetime experience if you have not tried it. I would suggest everyone to try it once, as it will help you understand the difference between online & offline casinos.
It was a new experience for gamblers who often gamble at offline casinos because before, they had to visit the casino to play gambling. Now they can play gambling from home using laptops, computers, or phones. This really makes it easy for them to play gambling and provides different pleasure from what they get at offline casinos.

In yesterday's pandemic, online casinos got a lot of benefits from the increasing number of visitors to their casinos and the increasing amount of profits that casinos get. This makes casinos more aggressively promote their casinos to get more gamblers to play gambling in their casinos.
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: July 12, 2023, 04:58:10 PM
For many gamblers, I believe it's mostly about the value and the gas fee, that's why gamblers like Dogecoin and Tron, I used these two more in the past because of high gas fee on Ethereum and Bitcoin, if such happens again I am going back to either Tron, Dogecoin or Stablecoins.
Yes, crypto gamblers often check their transaction fees before depositing. You mentioned two coins with low transaction fees, Tron and Dogecoin, which are still the choice of many people to gamble with. But of course, many people still use Bitcoin for gambling, especially if the transaction fees are small and the Bitcoin value has gone up. Using Stablecoins is also acceptable, as you can choose the network you want without paying high transaction fees.
2946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: July 12, 2023, 04:09:07 PM
~snip~
The context of rich mindset here is teh contrary of what you are describing if you will read the content of OP. Rich mindset on this topic means the ability to cashout profit when user is winning since he is thinking on how to get rich and not being broke by continously playing even he is on profit. You are describing a broke mindset base on his example since broke person usually play recklessly while rich mindset play smart that’s why they are rich.

But I think if a person has rich mindset, He will definitely avoid gambling since there’s no way to get rich here because this is not a source of wealth but rather a source of entertainment only.
I don't think so because of what @OP said:

Quote
Usually, people who win in gambling but not able to cash out or save their winnings and I think this has something to do with a Healthy mindset.
If you do not have the intention to save the wealth, you will lose all your winnings by risking them again in another gambling bet.

Only a mentally strong person who has control over emotions and have money management skills would be the real winner here and will become rich eventually.

You can see that managing money after getting a win is recommended, and that is about to take a short break. And I said that one should stop first after winning because if he continues, he can lose all his money by betting it on the gambling table. Besides that, taking a short break is also to control the emotions after winning. And if he can do that, he can have the money, and perhaps, if he can earn more the next day, he can become rich from gambling, although that is not easy.

Besides that, most gamblers out there have a rich mindset. They want to get rich from gambling but can't use it properly after getting a lot of money from gambling. Or perhaps I misunderstood it. If so, I apologize to you.

1) periodically, for example on weekends. But then it is important that this does not happen all the time, because as they say, "the habit is formed from the third time." Therefore, I suggest playing two weekends and then taking a mandatory break. So the probability of getting an obsessive desire to play will be minimal.

2) Spontaneously. In this case, in order to control yourself, you need to allocate yourself a certain amount of deposit and not go beyond it for a certain period. For example, to make it $200 a month. Here everyone will individually come up with a deposit amount based on their earnings and capabilities.
People often choose number one because they are not busy with their routine work on weekends and can relax. This makes them use their free time by playing gambling, although not many spend their weekends gambling. But this is what we encounter most often, whether from our friends or ourselves.

For number two, I think it is correct to allocate a deposit for playing gambling and not exceed it if it has been used for gambling. And if your income is not large, it is better for you to discourage gambling because it can cause you to lose and maybe spend your income just to gamble.

~snip~
If being practice correctly it can really help to avoid any addictions, you are saving both your time and your money if you can properly balance your engagement into gambling, though it' always easier said than done, as we always at risk when we already enjoying and our appetite in gambling is already increasing.

It's on how you take your responsibility and always minding yourself if you are already exceeding to prevent any harm from happening.

If you still have that control to stop, then it's still good for you not to allow any potential addiction to take place.
To be a responsible gambler, you must be able to train yourself to set limits and apply them well. Without practice, you will not be able to have a responsibility, especially in gambling, where the temptation to continue gambling will come stronger. And if you can't take responsibility for yourself, you will probably keep playing, and over time, you can become addicted to gambling. There is nothing wrong with practicing responsibility in gambling because it is proper and good for us. There are already many gamblers out there who have lost their responsibility and, in the end, will only become gambling addicts. We must avoid this so that gambling does not destroy our lives.
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 12, 2023, 03:16:15 PM
~snip~
We need to be practical and wise, if you find a value bet and you manage to win it's always better to rest out and enjoy with the money that you earn, you win some and probably you lose more, that's how most of the gamblers understand when betting into sports games, if you know how to handle every situation and you can control your gambling habits. There's a chance that you can earn decently, not a guarantee though as you still inside gambling and just like what it's said from OP, the percentage of losing is higher than from those who can manage to win from this activity.
And don't even think about continuing to play gambling because that can lead you to losses and eliminate the money you previously earned. But many people don't understand this rule and instead try to play one more round, but they increase the stakes in the hope that this one last round can give them a big advantage. But they lose so much money that they only regret it because if they had stopped at the last win, they would have been able to enjoy the winning money and not lose it. And there are indeed no guarantees for winning in gambling, so we have to know the situation.
2949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 12, 2023, 02:45:41 PM

Well, of late, I've been seeing a whole lot of discussions on Twitter as regards to thread and all that, and several persons saying that zuck copied the idea from Twitter, and not just that, there are still many other supposed unique Twitter features which alot of people claim that zuck also copied, this also includes the blue ticker verified badge..

In all of this saga, all I can say is that, zuck has alot of enemies already, the entire twitter community seems not to like him, if there will ever be a fight between the two giants, it is very likely that Elon will emerge victorious at the end of the day.
Yeah, I heard that too, but I don't know. I don't really think about it either because it's up to them. Mark already has a lot of enemies, but Elon seems to have them too. But better we wait for updates from both of them about that fight.

But either Mark just copied the idea from Twitter on purpose because he wanted to see who could get the most users or there was another plan behind the launch of Threads which was similar to Twitter. That's all only Mark knows, and we can only guess. It looks like Mark and Elon really have to fight to resolve all disputes between them in the ring;
2950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: July 12, 2023, 02:19:15 PM

People really somewhat bash you and saying not good words on you because people want to drag you down and we don't know why, that is why it is better to check really that you ain't getting addicted to it like they arent saying the truth because sometimes if you get mad at them you just makes things worst meaning they are saying true as if it is not true then why are you angry, as long as you know that you are not an addict lets say you are not playing on daily basis or having an unctrolable urge on gambling then you are not addict to and you just say to them that if you are an addict to gambling then you should have those things that you have now as for sure you'll selling it because you want to gamble.
And those people deliberately wanted to piss us off with what they said so we would start a fight. But if we can stay calm by not responding to what they say, they will stop by themselves because we don't serve them. Many people are jealous of our situation, so they have to make words that can make us angry, and it will be seen that we do what they say. We should be able to calm down; if necessary, we can leave the person to go somewhere else so we don't get angry. There's no point serving people like that because it's just a waste of time.
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 12, 2023, 01:50:39 PM

Gambling is a simple method to make money, but there are many other things that become attached down the asphalt; and believe me when I say that the path down in gambling can be extremely nasty. When we benefit from the system, we do unnecessary things with the earnings, such as consuming on additional unimportant things, and when we lose, we simply feel remorseful about our actions, which results in regrets, only for that moment, who would want to quit gambling overnight, even though we have the urge but it's not an easy thing to accomplish?
It's not easy to stop gambling, but someone can stop as long as there is a will. Continuing to control yourself and being able to say no to yourself will give results even though trying to stop takes time. And preferably if a person has never gambled, he should avoid it because the risks involved are more serious than he can imagine. But the point is that gambling is not a fast way to make money but a fast way to lose money. Maybe someone needs to find out more about gambling before he gambles and regrets having lost so much.
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: July 12, 2023, 01:36:36 PM
No matter how many times I've tried to play slots, I've never managed to win anything... I lost regularly, while changing the odds from three lines to the maximum number, I think it was 27 or 30 lines, I could be wrong... But I know people who win decent money from time to time in slots... I guess it depends on luck... I have more luck in football betting...

I win at slots from time to time, but I can't say that the amount of money I've won far exceeds the amount of money I've lost. So don't feel bad about it, someday you will be lucky too.

I have a friend who is lucky not only in gambling, but also in life more than me and I have always wondered why someone is more lucky and someone is not, but still have not found an answer to this question.
One day he will be lucky to win the slot game. Slots based on luck are very difficult to win, so we have to realize that we don't have to spend a lot of money to play slots. It is enough to use a little money, buy the Bonus feature and enjoy the game. Maybe that's better than getting discouraged because you haven't won yet.

But if he is having better luck in sports betting on football, he should stop playing slots too often and focus only on sports betting, especially if he can win more often than slot games. It will give him pleasure because, with the winnings he gets from sports betting, he might be able to increase the balance in his gambling account.
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: July 12, 2023, 01:10:57 PM
I am not aware of any casino which is going to bankrupt due to player wins. If any site is not scam then there is no possibility of such complaints. There are some scam sites who after running the business for a while plan to make money by scamming. Any such casino platform can hide itself by declaring bankruptcy. But naturally any casino platform has no chance of loss. So I don't think they can go bankrupt. If a casino has a low number of users then that is a different issue but it cannot be due to a player's win.
Yes, the possibility is very small and it seems like it may never have happened. If there is a jackpot, it is certain that the casino has previously estimated the nominal and has prepared it so that they can offer the jackpot because they do have the money and from the jackpot promotion it has actually become a very effective marketing way to attract many people to spend a lot of money to play gambling there. So the possibility is very, very small. But if for other reasons, maybe. Like losing its users for some reason, getting hacked or theft and other reasons.
Unless the casino is not ready for a surge in players and those players manage to win the jackpot, the casino can lose a lot of money because it does not prepare a balance that is more than sufficient to pay out the winners. It can cause a casino to go bankrupt. Still, usually, casino owners expect this to happen in their casino, especially if the casino is aggressively promoting their casino in many places, including on social media. But even that has been anticipated by casino owners by providing large balances to pay the winners. But the winners will be a few and can only be won by a few users while other gamblers will experience big losses. So, in this case, it is less likely for the casino to go bankrupt because the users hit the jackpot.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: July 12, 2023, 12:42:35 PM
Im not really that much of a gambler but i do have some experience on playing on a casino but only on a certain amount but that only happened once because i dont really like the ambiance or simply that im just
Claustrophobic type of person who doesnt really like on joining or seeing lots of people on an enclosed space. This is why i do much prefer on playing online and if ever the country would be deciding that they would really be banning out gambling then you could always be having the option. If ever they would ban online gambling then you could make use of VPN, if they would tend to ban physical then you can simply go with online.
This is why its not really that something that could totally be able to ban out if ever the government would really be planning on doing so. Play according into things which you do know on whats good and whats bad for you.
Many people nowadays like to play online gambling because they can hide their identity, especially if they play gambling using crypto. After all, that means they can play gambling anonymously. If the government prohibits gambling for its citizens, you better not violate it because they can track down their citizens who often gamble. And even though you can use a VPN, the government can still find out, but now many casinos prohibit VPNs, so you must be careful if you plan to use a VPN. Maybe you should be able to find a casino that still allows its users to use a VPN, so you shouldn't have a problem unless your government tries hard to find its gambling citizens.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: July 12, 2023, 12:24:01 PM
It's not really only about having a rich or healthy mindset but it is also about discipline and self-control. A person with a rich mindset might also have a hasty nature which makes him take decisions without giving them much thought which ends up putting him in situations that cause him losses. So, the very first thing in a person, whether they have a rich or poor mindset, to be able to achieve that in gambling is to have self-control and the ability to be disciplined.

Someone who doesn't have these things will barely be able to get any success in gambling even if they are winning, because as you said, they will eventually lose everything back because they won't stop after winning as greed makes them gamble more only with the hope that they might win even more with it.
But many people have the mindset of getting rich from gambling, so they decide to gamble again even after winning a big win. That's not good for them because at least they have to rest before continuing so that their emotions after getting that big win subside. This is to anticipate the desire to win more wins where it will not always happen. It would be even better if they had good self-control so that it could help them to stop soon.

They will only spend their winnings without being able to save their winnings and will not be able to experience success from gambling. And it's true that in the end, they will lose everything, including the winning money they have earned. That's why we have to really control our greed so it doesn't make us gamble longer.
2956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: July 11, 2023, 03:21:41 PM
Indeed, when talking about gambling, there is no strategy. But to minimize the occurrence of big losses and defeats. Of course, this can be done by analyzing several possibilities that will occur before you place a bet to play gambling. Because if we fixate only on luck maybe you will find it difficult to get victory.

part from that, there is something more important than your gambling strategy, namely managing your finances by limiting the amount of money to play gambling every day/every time you play. The goal is that your money doesn't run out in just one game, because if it's not regulated this will jeopardize your finances and can allow you to get into debt and fall into poverty.
The certain thing is that if you want to reduce the occurrence of big losses and losses, you also need to reduce the money you bet and only bet on a few bets if you can analyze them properly. But most people will try to place bets on many sports at once because if they win, their winnings can be big. But that's only if they can analyze well, and if not, it's better to stick with a little money to bet and only bet on the sports we are familiar with. You can use many strategies in each game but remember that that doesn't guarantee you can win either.
2957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 11, 2023, 02:48:13 PM
Way back, what enticed me to try gambling is the money that comes with it. I'm not going to be a hypocrite, I once thought that gambling will provide an easy money. But boy, I was so wrong. And it's just unfortunate that I have to learn it the hard way. I was a victim of hype and FOMO which partly is my fault as well since I didn't research well before, that made me lose my hard-earned money. But it is what it is and the silver lining behind it is that I already learned so much that shaped me into who I am today and it influenced me in making better decisions.

To those who want to try gambling, it's better to search first and look upon the reviews and feedbacks of those people who have first hand experience to prevent encountering unpleasant scenarios in gambling.
Many of us have tried gambling for the same reasons as you. We see that gambling can provide fast money without spending time working. But it's not what we think because there must be winners and losers in playing gambling. In the past, I just joined my friends to play gambling because I thought displaying the game pictures was interesting, and seeing my friends playing gambling, I felt curious to try it. And finally, I tried it too but never thought about winning and losing. But that's what keeps me coming back to gambling.
2958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: July 11, 2023, 02:21:49 PM
In our world of nowadays that is very difficult to achieve as we are "besieged" by those activities that draw us into gambling. We can set a budget yes but this only works to slot machines based on my experience as there you can play long enough even with a small budget and call it a day after you lose this budget while in sport betting you can say to yourself how come I lost all balance in just 2 bets that I made,I did not enjoy this at all and you go and put more money into it trying to get the next bet. Both are very dangerous activities to people who lack self discipline and patience as they are the most common victims of this.I agree with you staying away a few months removes that hidden desire to keep gambling.

And why can't you divide the gaming budget in such a way that you don't lose everything for two bets, but have the opportunity to make several dozen bets? Risk management is something that depends entirely on the player. And after a losing bet, you should not increase the bet in order to try to win back the loss as quickly as possible, because on emotions you will definitely lose even more. The distribution of the budget is aimed at making you understand over the long distance what your trend is, whether you lose or win more.
That's because of the greed of many people who want more results, so they don't share their gambling game budget. They feel that placing big bets on sports betting can get bigger profits compared to other gambling games, such as slot games. And usually, the losing gamblers will try to increase the stakes little by little because they think that if they win, they can get the winning money and recover their losses at the same time. And I agree that we have to divide the budget for gambling so that we don't lose all the money on that day, but we can use it to play gambling the next day or a few days later.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: July 11, 2023, 01:53:38 PM
Who won't get offended to be called as gambling addict? Not everyone want to hear that so I guess I will try to track back my activities if the claims of those people saying that is true. If I figure out that he is right on what he said to me well I might fix things up and correct all the wrong doings I do on my gambling activities, but if I know that I don't gamble that and occasionally I just participate because I'm bored well I might come to the person tell that to me and talk about things so that he also get a clarification on my activities done.
That's what the people around him who are called gambling addicts should do so that he can realize the extent of his gambling activities. And if he really feels like a gambling addict, he can change his habits and reduce his time playing gambling. And it's better to fix it soon before it's too late so he doesn't develop a severe gambling addiction. And if after he researches or reflects on himself and sees that he doesn't have a gambling addiction, he doesn't need to respond to other people's words because they don't know who we really are and are just talking nonsense.
2960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 11, 2023, 01:20:13 PM
Elon Musk is one of the biggest trolls on social media. He is also an attention whore. I have no idea if this fight is really happening. Earlier today Musk proposed a "literal dick measuring contest". This all just seems like a big joke to him and he is loving the attention he's getting.

Based on eye test alone it is obvious to see that Zuckerberg is in much better shape and would probably defeat Musk with relative ease. Musk's ego won't allow him to be humiliated by his rival so he'll likely just stick to feuding through social media.
This issue coincides with Twitter’s ongoing lawsuit against Meta it's like implying that Elon has better manhood than Zuckerberg, this has become uglier because of Threads launching which is very much similar to Twitter, although Meta already stated that they did not employ any Twitter employees.
The two billionaire's battles are not only confined to court but will eventually happen in a cage match no one will concede it's a three-way battle, inside the courtroom, on the internet, and possibly in a cage, we have ao many things to watch out between these two giant.
And if there is a Twitter lawsuit against Meta, will it be resolved in the boxing ring? If so, this will be even more interesting because maybe certain deals from the two can determine the future fate of the two applications. I heard that Threads can be integrated directly using an Instagram account, and many people like Threads more than Twitter, especially because Twitter has now implemented a paid system for those who want the Verified badge. And if there isn't a fight between Elon and Mark, it may be settled in court.
