It looks like the number of teams that are interested in signing Timo Werner continues to increase currently. Newcastle have also joined this race to sign him. Juventus are also one of the teams that are after him now. Werner must be contented with this high level of interest in himself while he is wishing to leave the team at the same time. Chelsea actually need him now as Lukaku has left. They still haven't even been able to fill Lukaku's place. If Werner also leaves they will have a bigger work to do.
Actually Chelsea put Werner on the possible transfer list this summer even after Lukaku departure since he wasn't that convincing. Juve will be interested on him in case Morata won't join them. Newcastle might get him otherwise as a loan or transfer if he accepts, of course if we didn't see another team willing to pick him from them the Barca way Roll Eyes

According to the source below, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo doesn't even have any idea about their so-called interest in Cristiano Ronaldo now. It has made me really astonished honestly because the number of news about this transfer has increased a lot recently. I also started to give a slight chance for this transfer. But if their president really said this then it is over for Ronaldo. He wouldn't most probably find any big team that suits himself from now on. So it is time to move on with Manchester United for him.

https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/transfers/2022-2023/cristiano-ronaldo-transfer-atletico-madrid-president-calls-move-for-man-utd-forward-practically-impo_sto9061964/story.shtml
The story started few weeks ago with this rumour, then ATM president denied it, then it calmed down a little then popped again after almost all clubs didn't seem to be interested on him.. Now the president of ATM denied this rumour again but he didn't deny a possible transfer if Simeone insisted on that and if ManU will pay CR7 or at least participate on his wage. In my opinion, a transfer will happen if these 2 conditions were met.

Guys I have a question... is 1 mBTC a normal offer for renting an avatar?

Let's say it's a long-term partnership. Now it's only $21 but when Bitcoin returns to its previous rate, rent will cost $40-50 per week.
It is whether both parts consider 1 mBTC = 1 mBTC and accept the fluctuations on the BTC/USD pair or just fix the amount on USD and convert it to BTC at the exact time of payment regardless of the fluctuations, just like most signature campaign is doing right now.
Personally, I find the price good for the moment in USD and a little exaggerated at $40-50 per week, especially if already enrolled in signature campaign that doesn't require an avatar.

Pogba probably needs surgery on his knee, if it will be it will be a 1-2 months stop.

It seems it is an old problem already present in the Manchester United days.
That was very upsetting news. Everyone was waiting to see him playing and winning with the team and he ended up with a knee injury and probably a surgery before the starting of the season.. He will miss like 6 games in Serie A and 2 in CL.
Meanwhile Rabiot will stay in Juve and replace him in these two months.

Surprisingly, Arsenal have done very well so far in the transfer window and their preseason games and it shows how much improvement the team has made. According to Arteta in his last post match interview, he made it clear that there still few positions that needs signings and the club is working on improving those positions so hopefully, before the end of the transfer window signings will be made to those positions.
Arteta is indeed doing a very good job at the club, and he has the backings of the board, especially now, they believe and trust in his project, and also trust the process. It is true that Arsenal have made some quality and reasonable additions to the team.He has added Jesus, Olexandr Zinchenko,Fabio vierra and Marquinos, and so far,the players have proved to be quality signings that will help the team achieve it dream of winning silverware.
Arsenal this season can achieve something, well other than EPL since City and Liverpool will continue their domination tho, who knows after all but it is hard tho.
The interesting part is to see Arteta still wants to get more players just after beating Chelsea with 4 goals to 0! Tielemans was in the sight for a while and Arsenal is turning to Paquetá, so I assume one of them might join the team in the upcoming days.

I think this is a very turbulent time for Chelsea FC. The biggest challenge Chelsea is facing in getting players to join their side is the uncertainty of the club. Players are yet to understand how Todd Boehly wants to run the club, no player wants to come to a team that is unsettled. This is why Barcelona are crushing them in the transfer market
Agreed, it's so different with chelsea when it's still owned by abramovich. This time it's getting even harder for chelsea to get a player. So many top players have ignored to join in this club since todd boehly acquired chelsea. The current squad is not enough to compete with big team in the premier league. So many teams have bought new quality players to the club while chelsea was still struggling with its problem. I saw how frustated tuchel is.
So many internal problems appeared since chelsea acquired by todd. I doubt this club can even still stand at the top 4 positions in the premier league.
This season will be quite hard for them especially after the departure of some key players especially in the defence. In my opinion it will depend on how much Tuchel could improve the current players quality and how efficient his tactics will be vs strong opponents that already recruited top players and still continuing to build more powerful team.
City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs will not let Chelsea get easily a spot between them.
2947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 25, 2022, 08:46:55 PM
There are rumors that Marseille are about to sign Alexis Sanchez. The star player could not find a chance to play in Inter. He can play regularly at Marseille. In the last years of his career, he may want to transfer to a team that he can play regularly. Therefore, I see Marseille and Alexiz Sanchez close to each other. If this transfer takes place, both parties gain. Because Marseille need an experienced star for the league second place.
OM didn't contact Inter about a possible transfer and I believe these are all just rumours. They got young Suarez and they have already enough centre-forwarders. If you consider also his wage, I don't see a benefit from getting him honestly.
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 25, 2022, 08:39:46 PM
The fee is low because Firmino is in the final year of his contract. To be honest, for that reason alone, I think its a pretty attractive bid to land Firmino. If Liverpool don't agree but the player is willing. Juventus could just wait until the winter transfer season and bid a lower amount or just get him for free next season. They probably rejected Fenerbache partly because Firmino might not be interested in going to Turkey at this point in his career. He's still got a few years left in him.
I assumed the same thing about Fenerbahce. It would be better to play less time with Liverpool than go to a lower league. Going to Juventus is another interesting thing that might be considered imo. The rumoured price is correct regarding a player that has only 1 year left on his carrier. Whether Liverpool find a way to extends that or let him move to avoid not losing him free next season especially after the arrival of Nunez.

I was taking a look on the odds here and I didn't understand Ludogorets one. They won with 3 goals to 0 in the first leg vs Shamrock Rovers then I find odds for the second leg SR 2.9 vs 2.4 Ludogorets.. I understand that SR will try to score and win but the odds are quite worrying.
Bodo odds in the other hand are quite funny @1.09. Imagine winning x30 if Linfield won as in the first leg, or x9.4 if the game ends with a draw!
Zalgiris odds @14 are quite interesting vs Malmo. Too many traps planted here imo!

Cristiano Ronaldo is traveling back to Manchester today & will hold talks with Man Utd on future. Unclear if/when 37yo will return to training or just getting there for negotiations. Club stance is still that he is not for sale + expect him to be important part of side next season. Should be an interesting 48 hours on how the story evolves.
I assume he will accept the offer to extend his contract 1 year in ManU and go on loan to play Champions League somewhere else. The only condition, could he find a club that it/its fans accepts him?

Although Romero is a fairly reliable source, I still don't understand how this deal is supposed to be done. Barcelona won't have enough money to register all their new players even if they manage to sell De Jong - who still does not want to go to United.
I still want to know how they are supposed to do that! Selling media rights, ok but they still need more money and they are pissing ManU on de Jong although it is the only serious club that wants him in with a very good price! Do they have other things to sell? or they will ask the players to cut their salaries again or what?
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 25, 2022, 08:03:38 PM
Conte is really pissed from Bayern attitude to talk to media about being interested on Kane. He called that a bit disrespectful and that they should talk directly to Spurs although he consider Kane an important part of the club project.
From what I understood, it appears that Bayern won't get Kane this summer at least.
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 24, 2022, 09:10:10 PM
The next champion of the Bundesliga has to be  Bayern Munich. Because I don't see any team worthy of dethroning them as of now. And I also think that it is going to be like that throughout the whole season. We got Dortmund who seems to be the only competition and they are also not doing well. And we have Bayern Munich winning the league title for ten years back to back. And I think it's going to be 11 after next season. Dortmu8nd did get Haller but that's not gonna be enough for sure.
Haller is currently being treated for testicular cancer so it isn't sure when he will get back to the training and play games with Dortmund. This is a bad news for the new signed player and for Dortmund for sure. It will be hard without him.
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 24, 2022, 09:02:20 PM
newcastle has bought 5 players in this transfer window but all of them are not big names like haaland or lewand.  I'm sure the newcastle owner is working on a strategy that we can't predict. newcastle will find it difficult to compete with top Premier League clubs because their squad composition is mediocre imo.  what still remains a question mark for me is why the new owner of newcastle until now has not made a big transfer, is he short of money LOL.
It isn't money issue, they have plenty but maybe a strategic move? I mean what's the point of spending a lot of money when you face all stars clubs like City, Liverpool and even the others like Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal? They might be planning to recruit progressively players since it isn't easy to convince top players to join a team played most of the season at the relegation zone.
Newcastle needs to recruit at least 5-6 talented players to get a chance to fight for an European spot. So far they only signed 3 new players. A goalkeeper and 2 defenders..
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 24, 2022, 08:52:05 PM
I swear on GOD! That goal from Raphina was top class, perfectly taken, technically sound was a thunderous and stunning blast that was. The next time they both will get the proper El Clasico game will be October 10at the Santiago Bernabue. They had a better game in the first half but they got pressing and pressured by Real Madrid. What I know is that Barcelona are also better at the Camp Nou no matter the form of Real Madrid, both club's would be anticipating for that game.
Well, that's a friendly game and Real Madrid didn't put all its force on it. There was some attempts from both teams and Barcelona was more threatening. A mistake let Raphinha score the only goal of the game and such thing should be avoided in the real El classico.

@Trofo, I think we should have a new poll for the coming season.
I think I will select Barcelona once it achieve registration of the new signed players.

Looks like the bear market has reached the signature campaigns as well.  Embarrassed
It is periodic. There is times where you find many signature campaigns popping up at the same time, and there is times where things are quite boring.
In bear market, you find many people holding, others afraid and others cashing out so it is normal to see that coincidence.
2956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 23, 2022, 08:45:19 PM
The VAR will certainly be used at the world championship in Qatar. The VAR should be a great added value, but there too it is the interpretation of how a referee and his assistant view a situation. You don't always have written rules for situations, even with a penalty for example. 50% of the VAR would give him and 50% would not. Honesty and accuracy is not guaranteed with the VAR and that is the main problem.
Despite everything, I think that the VAR will have a great added value at the World Cup.

Personally, I think that VAR technology has brought more benefits than harm to football.
Of course, VAR is only technology, and a person must analyze and interpret the information received and make a final decision, given that it is impossible to predict all situations in football.
Football players work very hard to achieve success in football, they wait 4 years for the world championship and it is really not fair that one wrong decision of the referee takes away their right to success.
Football is an increasingly fast game, sometimes millimeters or fractions of a second are decisive, and it is very difficult for the referee to see everything accurately and make the right decision at a moment's notice.
In the history of football, we have a lot of controversial decisions. If VAR technology had existed in 1966, England would probably never have been world champions in football. This is a situation that is still being talked about today, more than half a century later.
Since you are talking about the VAR, I find it useful but quite annoying and it made waste of time even worse in football.. Many rules should be changed to make it better.
The main referee shouldn't stop the game and watch the reply over and over, it is up to the referees in the room or he should stop the timer just like handball and basketball and do whatever he wants, preferably without taking much time.
Imagine if we have many ambiguous situations in World Cup games and like 5-6 VAR in a match, this will literally kill the fun and make it a very bad game.
2957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 23, 2022, 08:37:41 PM
Well, it seems that Mertens in the end will leave Napoli, he hasn't choiced to get a new contract with management. I don't know what Napoli is doin this year, but as supporter I see that it has sold their best players this year

and we're going to play a league without any trusted player (Osimhen apart). Hope that managament will sell his company share to another one  Roll Eyes
Napoli comparing to the other clubs didn't make big signing and lost Koulibaly and Insigne which will make them quite vulnerable this season comparing to the last one which mind you they weren't stable on it at all..

Currently, the club that Cristiano Ronaldo will choose is Real Madrid. Because according to his qualifications, he can gain a lot of popularity in Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo performance is very good and he has won many matches due to which he is in demand in almost all clubs. But according to the merits of Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid The club chooses the best.
You mean ATM and not Real Madrid since it is unlikely to sign him back in Santiago Bernabio. ATM in the other hand might be interested on him once they find where to place Griezmann. BTW yesterday I read that ATM is not interested by him.. Things change every couple of hours these days.
2958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 23, 2022, 08:24:04 PM
Azpilicueta is one pretty good defender and indeed if Barcelona manage to bring him in then it will be great for their defense next season (but not financially).
At the moment Kounde is still a little gray although indeed if we look at it it looks like it's only a matter of time for Chelsea to be able to bring in this player and that means Barcelona's chances of bringing Azpilicueta are still very big.
That moment when everyone is blaming PSG for picking the best players then you found that the team that is crumbled with financial issues is spending without limit to pick every player they can from rich teams lol.
Kounde will be picked from Chelsea although the agreement was already made between Sevilla and Chelsea. Barcelona is already pissing Tuchel by Azpilicueta story. I still wonder know how barcelona is going to register all these players with €100m? without counting their salaries!
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2022, 08:12:01 PM
Suarez is one of the best performing senior players in the current era. Although his performance on the field is still much better than other players. But his age is above 35 years I think he deserves to play in the Premier League because of the move. Because experienced players in Premier League they can perform very well because of Premier League For that I think suitable.
Suarez was linked to replace Haller in Dortmund until he recover from his disease, yet nothing is clear until now. At the same time, Nacional, the old club of Suarez wants him to get back there. I thought he will try to join a US club for a year or two before returning to South America.

Yesterday, I left the agreement between Sevilla and Chelsea reached for Kounde transfer and in less than 24 hours everything changed! Barcelona played Uno reverse card in this deal? AFAIK Chelsea offer is higher but they will not pay at once at the opposite of "broken" Barcelona Roll Eyes Besides, Kounde prefer to play in Camp Nou rather than Stamford Bridge..
