2941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: April 28, 2021, 06:17:30 AM

not all trading systems or plans work for all occasions. when those traders say the trend is your friend, always follow the trend. it's not about greedyness and emotion but it's about making money. when something is about to bubble because of popular individuals like Elon Musk and Mark Cuban tweeting about dogecoin, buy doge!! there is a reason why they are trying this coin to trend.
2942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021? on: April 28, 2021, 06:06:07 AM
I just hope that this fight will not end up like the Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford fight. With that one, the main issue was the purse for Pacquaio. He was demanding a guaranteed payment of $40,000,000 but the organizers were offering much less. So what made the difference with this fight? Has Pacquiao agreed for a lower amount, or has the organizers offered him what he wanted? Since the statement came from Arnold Vegafria (Pacquiao's manager), I think this news is closer to reality.
I guess it's because that fight was worth more, compared to this one in their eyes? Hence why Manny agreed, since his price is definitely lower compared to the one with Crawford. I'd agree with the others, a Pacquiao vs Crawford fight seems to be much more interesting and worth much more, but as you said, the organizers for the other side failed in the negotiations hence why it was most likely canceled.

Still, a relatively safe option for the side of Pacquiao. It definitely won't bring as much hype as the Crawford one, but it almost guarantees that Pacquiao has a higher chance of winning than Mikey.

this fight is also unsure yet although this one comes from the person close to the Pacquiao team as Rappler said. if he didn't ask for $40M Crawford would be a good match. he needs $40M else he won't win the presidential race?

there's still covid everywhere even in Dubai so it's really hard to finalize an event where they can get an amount of audience that can pay him $40M these days. Dana White has to mock covid in an attempt to convince people it's okay to watch UFC.
2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io and Southampton! Cool move ! on: April 27, 2021, 06:49:51 AM
I just hope some media doesn't correlate this to the teams having bad habits such as gambling when in the first place, it isn't a bad one. Bad players just make it look bad. Good job from Sportsbet though, hope that they manage this advertisement well so that cryptocasinos could open up to a bigger population, especially since a lot of people like to watch Football. I just hope other countries actually look at this very good example just so that other gambling companies could open up to their local teams as well.

when it's related to sports, it's not often depicted as gambling. getting a big name on the jersey and BTC logo to it is a big promotion. its not the first time it happened in sports, i remember there was an LTC logo on the canvass of the MMA fight i can't remember which one but i believe it happened before but it wasn't noticed much since crypto isn't wide popularized yet. sportsbet is a big company and can pay big ads. it wouldn't be surprising that one day they will also get a slot on ABC sports on TV.
2944  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 27, 2021, 01:46:39 AM

Which is adress ko nagsisimula sa 3

2945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sovryn - price prediction when public sale will be open on: April 27, 2021, 01:22:48 AM
This is really a high price if you look at the price of the Origin Pre-sale. however, I think the prospect of this project is very promising, and it is possible that the new ATH will be achieved again.
Yes, the participants in the Origin Pre-sale are in a good profit and if they don't sell now, they can make even more profit. however, I think it is just the beginning. The price will go up further when it will be listed on any good Cex. Although the team has already applied for on coinmarketcap and coingecko listing, so I think it will also pump the price of Sov coin...

i am sure that this project will explode and succeed, it is proven that they managed to get a lot of investors who invest their money in the project sovryn. I think when Sovryn is release later, the price of Sovryn itself will be quite expensive in the market maybe around $0.5-1 on the day of its release.
WTF!
Dear sir, please stop posting shit and check the current price of Sov coin here > https://coins.green/ It's never been at $0.5/$1

its dropping to $40 https://coins.green/ shows its marketcap $ 95,344,128.16, they should also be adding the 24 hour volume. marketcap is really big for a project that's new. the price however is dipping, could this be because there is a signature running?

i bought few, thought it's gonna go up way further than 10K satoshis. someone should make CMC update its data.
2946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 27, 2021, 01:10:13 AM

if you didn't tell us you are a female we wouldn't know but how do we verify that you are a female? I'm excited already.  Wink

but yes women are welcome anywhere in the forum, there are no restrictions with regards to gender.  i'm reminded of Antonopoulos video about women pretending to be men in the forum. not the other way around. i wonder what sort of gambling games women bet on.
2947  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Wow] Restaurant now accepting All major crypto for payments on: April 27, 2021, 12:05:42 AM

2948  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: April 26, 2021, 07:31:46 AM

he is saying it's NSA. if it's NSA then they just endanger the USD dominance and the fiat system where the governments rely on. NSA would just see it not worth pursuing project if that is the case.

not all people are in coinbase.  i don't think 50% of the crypto trader are in coinbase. but you're right that BTC isn't meant to make people rich. not everyone can trade and if you panic sell you'd really mess up your investment.
2949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: April 26, 2021, 03:27:44 AM
It remains a possibility even if it is obviously highly improbable. That is definitely far from happening.

I think the correction that happened is already deep enough that $40,000 is already a figure out of anybody's mind. The price of Bitcoin has already fallen more than $10,000 in this quick correction. We have already crossed $60,000 a number of time before this correction happened. There is no strong reason right now for the price to fall down even more, touching $40,000.

as much as the fudder wants to price to go down to $40k, it looks like it's yet not doing what they want the market would do. reviving an old fud wouldn't make much effect as of now, there is got to be something else out there besides the tax laws that will bring the price to dip lower. they haven't figured it yet.  Grin  but if it crosses again to $60K after this upward movement, the assumption will be over.

2950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can doge coin reach 1$ this year? on: April 26, 2021, 02:45:25 AM

Elon's popularity will still bring the price up again. the Meme God will bring prosperous days for the holders lol

if you have bought that much of the doge at a very low price I think you should have sold already and rethink again whether to buyback. this is sort of a joke coin but certainly, its adoption is gradually realized since there will be merchants accepting it. If the volume of it gets higher than ADA, coinbase will possibly be adding it. just maybe.
2951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: April 25, 2021, 09:46:44 PM

it's down to $47K. panic sell is coming. i'm not going to be holding something when more of the rich guys are trying to pump gold.
this is really going to shake up and the bears are already here. the start of a bear market is coming and exactly the reason selling when the market is already at its peak is necessary so that you could be the first to invest when the market plummets this low.
2952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What can you say about Moozicore project? on: April 25, 2021, 08:52:28 PM
isn't this project a scam?

i remember a project during the time of the promotion of moozicore back in 2018. but this project also had disappeared. no team had been updating the thread. the project wants to compete the spotify, it could very well be a good project if there are just good crowd supporting but with the pandemic, it won't work.
2953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might not officially be on a bear market on: April 25, 2021, 01:27:10 PM

the RSI had touched -30 already which could bounce again making you think the uptrend continues but its the weekly chart that indicates whether the bear market started already. because if the RSI traverse down to 50 in the weekly chart, it could be bloodbath.

traders however thought the cycle this year is different because of the adoption of big companies and the corona virus is adding the pressure to institutional investors to use btc. maybe this cycle could really be a super cycle.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the significance of taking profit on: April 25, 2021, 01:09:25 PM
Taking profit is fine because you can always buy back and regret nothing as you already made a good profit. Don't blame yourself, just learn from that experience and be better.
You can always regret. Whether you sold way too early or you don't sell at all. Just imagine if you're holding some bitcoin and sold at $48, but then it went to $40k. Can you say with confidence that you don't regret selling at that price point?

No one can time it right. Luck plays a huge factor in this. The best advice would be diversify your strategy. Sell some portion of your portfolio to swing trade and get profits, and hold a bag if you think the project is good.

amen. nothing beats it when you have become an early investor or a token that had gone up to 100x while its price just $1 when you bought them. long term holders are just the biggest earners.

the cardano i have bought last year which was worth 0.02 ¢ i wont panic even if it dips to $0.20 because after all i just got it for a very low capital. although it would have been an opportunity to accumulate.
2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: April 25, 2021, 06:39:37 AM
* the use of bitcoin to travel spending outside in the country is more like selling your country asset and that could destroy the economy of that certain country.

we earned and bought our BTC through the money we earn from our regular job and savings, which is not the country's assets. whichever government has considered the BTC to be the country's assets will have the right to really confiscate our BTC from us. that's the most terrifying situation much like confiscating GOLD back in the 1930s. that's not going to happen these days. the government should just invest in mining devices just as the Chinese are doing.
2956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 25, 2021, 05:25:49 AM
felt entertained even when i lose the Zhang and Namasjunas fight. having knockout results from co and the main event is satisfying on a big screen. i was expecting Zhang to dominate Namajunas but jesus an upset.

Masvidal has a facebook page where he features the best knockouts i guess he can be featured there. his eyes were close as he was falling. very vegges.
2957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 24, 2021, 07:43:58 AM
I’m glad we have a date for this that is seemingly set in stone. I’m excited to watch and I’m in the camp that thinks the Jake Paul fight made this one much more interesting. Logan may still not have much of a chance, but I want to believe and Jake’s fight has given me the fuel to do so. Bring on June 5th.

against the top fighter of all time? Floyd had beaten all his opponents. he is a five-division world champion, he earns his living thru his boxing career all his life and he will just be beaten by this joker. It's a fixed fight. if it's a real fight and Paul still wins this David vs Goliath-like fight, i would really think Paul had given Solomon Engel the wildest blow job of his life.
2958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which other company will support Bitcoin next? on: April 24, 2021, 06:55:11 AM
there's a video i think its raoul pal of real vision that talked about Walmart that will possibly join. but this will depend on the owner if he sees it as a plus for his business.
the first to join will normally be the companies in finance because they are the ones who'd see the benefits.

I'm starting to wonder which company will be next? Will it be Walmart, Amazon, or Apple? What do you think will happen if one (or all) of these major companies invest in Bitcoin? Will it benefit the market immediately? Or will it take some time? Do you think such companies will control a huge portion of Bitcoin's supply, effectively making it centralized? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
The most interesting point in your topic a question about centralization. We know Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency, but if a major part of Bitcoin accumulates by all the centralized organizations then we will face a problem. Because due to holding a major part of the Bitcoin they will able to manipulate the Bitcoin market as they want. I know if one or all of these companies invest in Bitcoin then the price would record a new ATH and also it would be a massive adaption. But most probably it would drive to centralization as you said. Rather than accumulate a huge amount, if they accept Bitcoin for payment, then it would be massive and long time adaption forever until they accept.

It's already here now, its called TBTF - TOO BIG TO FAIL, once any financial instrument is a critical part of the retirement system, and/or cop-fireman pension system, then the FED will bail out every loss.

We're here now,

The irony of course is that BITCOIN Satoshi mythological narrative was that BTC was going to free us from FIAT and the system, the reality is that BITCOIN is just same-same with 100% absolute tracking, and loss of privacy.

Go figure, ahh but you all going to get rich on virtual paper.

Starting in the Fall of 2000 during the COVID spending spree, it was decided by Institutions that BITCOIN was the place to park your cash, thus $350B of new money flowed into BITCOIN raising the price from $10k to $63k, now with a 20% pullback, its not like the real 'money market', its more like a casino ( which reality thinkers already knew )

The institutions are frantic to find places to park cash that isn't theres, all the new money that came into BTC was either OPM, or borrowed (Musk)

There is no doubt at this point in time that FED covers both BTC-ETF's, and BTC itself, given IRS control's COINBASE.

we are about to celebrate which big company is going to join and we already are assuming Walmart or could be Apple which could skyrocket the price. you just appear to poop the party.  Cry

2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 24, 2021, 06:24:55 AM

everybody isn't very much confident whether haney will really make it to win against the veteran. so are you guys up to win a big amount since the odds are really favorable for you who believed Linares's experience.

both Garcia and Haney had a great journey to reach career goals. if they both win like Garcia against Fortuna which I guess they've already planned.  would you say all these fights are rigged?  Grin
2960  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How The Exchange Gets BTC From The Blockchain on: April 24, 2021, 06:12:54 AM
jeez take it as a fee to the exchange as they allowed you to buy BTC. that's how they earn. from transaction fees. when you make transactions inside the exchange like Binance all the transactions you do there are done within the exchange it's not coming out there and recorded to the blockchain. but once you withdraw your coins and it's sent to your personal wallet that is where you could see the transaction in the blockchain.

when you send coins from your personal wallet to another wallet these transactions can be seen on the ledger and that miners are earning from you since the transaction will be part of a block.
