2941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: December 25, 2021, 07:46:27 PM
Market is witnessing some gradual dumps and it's a know fact that altcoins will bleed more than bitcoin and they will be stable or recover only when bitcoin recovers and pumps. So will it be wise to hold on to Altcoin or switch to Bitcoin or convert the funds into stablecoins and wait for market to either start recovering or to dump further to buy more in order to reach breakthrough for the lose which we might have incurred till now.
it depends on your goal mate, if you are in a good alt projects and you see it very optimistic then must hold,  in fact not all the time when bitcoin is crashing alts were doing the same as well, because you know sometimes alts is green as well while bitcoin ia red.. Be practical and make research first or technical and fundamental analysis maybe a good idea to figure it out which is a good option to keep holding.
I think if you are investing into potential projects, then there's no need to worry as most will also pump when bitcoin recovers. But if you are doubting, then this would be a perfect time to add more bitcoin in your portfolio since the price is still in slump.

However, investing in bitcoin will always have more guarantee to make profits compared to altcoins. But since its your own money and investment, you should better create your own wise decision and not just rely on others.
2942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 24, 2021, 11:46:37 PM
I have lost all my capital to trading but still yet I feel the urge to trade more, I spent a huge capital to trade some new coins recently and was actively involved in spot trading. But recently I lost all my capital and I decided to give a break but now am feeling I should return back to trading.
What exactly is making you feel that you should return and start trading again? Have you taken your time to gain knowledge about trading and how to perfect yourself?  Because if you’re still your same old self that lacks knowledge on how to trade in the market, then you would still be coming back to make the same mistakes that you have made before.

So my advice would be that now you’re still away from the trading, you should take your time and learn everything you have to know, learn everything that is necessary to make your trading a success before you come back and start trading. Whenever you feel you have learnt enough, then you can start again. And don’t start with a huge capital like you did before, this time around you should start with a little capital and see how far you can go. If you’re able to prove to yourself that you are really good enough, then you can be increasing the capital a bit by bit.
You are right. Don't rush in trading OP as you need to be well equipped with knowledge and strategies first before you do trading again. Its better to assure yourself first that you can do more good today than what you've done in the previous. Start with a small amount first so that if you still lose again, you will never lose that huge amount. And if you see your strategy may be the problem, then stop using it and make sure to have a better strategy that you think will fit for you.

People who say that BTC is a scam are those classic examples of who do not research the entire thing. They primarily rely their sources through social media or influencers who attempt to destroy the reputation of BTC in the process.
Bitcoin is not a scam, but scammers use it as a tool to make profit through various mean including ponzi investment and so on. If you ever hear someone say that bitcoin is a scam, tell him that he really doesn't know what bitcoin is.

I remember back in the last quarter of 2017 where the price of BTC reached an ATH of $19,000, people were screaming that BTC was legit. But when its price dropped on the following month of 2018, people who invested on its ATH shouted and spread word that it was a scam. Unfortunately, there are people who invest without even knowing what they are investing on and they are the ones who complain that such is a scam.
I think it's just about a handful of people who basically suffer huge losses on investment that they don't really understand. If they really understood what investment risk was and what price fluctuation were, then they wouldn't scream like that when the price dropped. Volatility is a natural state for bitcoin because bitcoin is not controlled by anyone even though a small group of deep pockets are able to manipulate its price.

People need to educate themselves to know the real nature of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But sadly, most are just basing their opinion on few negative articles published by media. You can't expect them to do their own digging and understand how this market really works. We also don't need to push them to understand this market. It is their own will when they want to know more about crypto. Because once they dedicate themselves understanding this market, they will realize that they are wrong all along. I guess, that's better - self realization rather than pushing them to learn this market.
I think the learning for crypto will be much easier if there is someone who can influence them to know more  about crypto. We can't expect the government to do that since they are the first to be against on crypto. Maybe if there is a public education that is free for all that will highlight on the benefits of crypto, that will be a good tool for people to shift their interest into crypto. But eventually, when majority do believe in crypto, others will definitely ride with them.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: has bitcoin achieved its goal? on: December 24, 2021, 09:05:37 PM
In my opinion, the only and primary goal of Bitcoin is to be a means of payment and facilitate people's money transfers in a decentralized system, and we can think that it succeeded. Right now, apll it takes is for people to fully understand Bitcoin and the Blockchain system behind it.

If there will be a free education for all about bitcoin and crypto, i think people will gain more knowledge about its positive effects on us and how it will be properly utilize which put us in the end as the great beneficiaries. In this way, people wilel change their mindset on bitcoin and will create initiatives on how to spread its usefulness so it can gain massive adoption in the future. And once majority of the people are already inclined to it, then using it as a currency exactly like fiat will be more possible to happen.
2945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: December 23, 2021, 11:21:02 PM
A good strategy in trading will help us avoid losses. Don't forget to upgrade your strategy so you can follow the market movements. a tradter should be able to determine for himself what to do whether it's a strategy or a moment to be able to avoid losses. for people who are still beginners, it would be better if you use a small capital first while learning to understand the market. do not be careless and in a hurry in trading because most people fail in trading because they are too hasty and not careful. do the best in trading as best we can and avoid the losses.
But even how good a strategy is, it will reach a certain time that its no longer effective so you have to level up your srategy or even build a new one that you think will definitely work and suit on you. And also, keep updated on the market trends and sentiments so you will know when is the best time to trade or not. As long as you don't lose most often like three times or more often than that, then your strategy is still worth using.
You are right. There is no stopping from learning in trading and level up your strategy because trading alone always depend much based on the current events and trends. And when the market becomes more unstable, it will be hard to trade and end up successfully. And it will help you from comitting losses if you have other backed up strategies that will still work on you when one strategy is already failing. I guess having losses more than three or four times is already unacceptable.
2946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: December 23, 2021, 09:37:13 PM
One thing is for sure when it comes down to finances and money investment then wall street is what is most important.
And im not educated but i have connections and experinces that average JOE can only dream about.
As my social circle is wall street guys i know the info.
And wall street told me btc will be ath  100,000$ next year february.
You guys not been good but its a christmas i make little gift to you as you will know when its a bull run now.

It is a knowing historical facts that when Wall Street is predicting positive and bullish market the opposite has been the case. In June this year I read an article were Wall Street predicted $75k for bitcoin but that same month bitcoin began the fall that bottomout at $28000. It is good you have shared this information with us but we have to be very careful about any information from those guys as they are mind manipulators.
Thank you for the information, at least we are aware now. But to tell you honestly OP, no one is capable to make correct predictions since we are in a very volatile and unpredictable market. But i think reaching $100k by february is not too hard for bitcoin as long as its value continue to increase and creates new ATH in that time. It might even surpass on that estimated value, who knows.
2947  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 22, 2021, 11:44:43 PM

The season will come and go but the debt of expenses will still be there to clear off. If no money to Celebrate relax , money will definitely come and the next season will be Celebrated very well . Do not leave debt on your head because of Celebration.

Most people will get carried off by the euphoria of celebration to over spend. They drink alot and get intoxicated making them to lose control to do sorts of things that they regret after the effect of the drink go off then. This simply a time to be careful in every thing we do including driving this season because this season will come and go, we don't need to regret after the season.
Some people even take loans just to have a merrier celebration and suffer its consequence a year after. I guess there's no wrong in celebrating the season because its the most wonderful time of the year, but make sure that you are not over spending to the extent that you need to sell most of your cryptos. Because if you do that, you end up losing your expected profits because you sell your coins at a corrected price.
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 20, 2021, 09:57:54 PM
^

I absolutely agree with you. If he loses, Mike Tyson will lose more than Paul Logan, so he will fight to the end and try to win. I think that Iron Mike should finish this fight as a winner because he is one of the greatest boxers in the world and it is not in his plans to give the victory to some YouTube blogger.

The good thing about winning consistently in exhibition fights is that a fighter can easily sell his fight to the fans, and it would be more interesting to see Mike Tyson having more fights than Logan Paul as Mike Tyson at his age he is still showing to the world that he can fight and win.

Mike Tyson also does not need to convince people to watch his fight as his name alone is very popular that even the young generation would be interested in watching him fight. Maybe after this if Mike Tyson would win, he can ask Jake Paul to fight him so he can beat the Paul brothers.
2949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 20, 2021, 09:34:05 PM

Not sure about the effect on him since he has been off in boxing for 2 years.

We've seen a lot of upsets lately because of ring rust, and everyone is not immune to it.

Yes, you are right, he is mostly in the Asian scene and not a champion in the major 4 belt. But I still consider him a champion though.
the time is still quite long and it must be put to good use for training and to make good conditions for his performance and speed and sharpness he is retrained.
as you said, this has been very old and can even be compared to an item, it has been stored for a long time and has started to rust so it needs to be sharpened again so that it is like before.
I hope for something good for him but of course this now depends on the effort he puts into making the most of this time

Mark Magsayo has the edge if we are talking about who is more active in the ring, but Gary Russell is a champion, so it's hard to underestimate his capability, and though Magsayo won his last fight but he wasn't so impressive if not of that KO win. Honestly, I'm also concerned on how Magsayo will beat Russell since he hasn't fought someone like him before.
In this case, I actually don't really know what magsayo is like and how because I've never seen a fight from this boxer.
and i still believe that russel can still handle this even though he hasn't competed in a long time.
but on the other hand maybe I will now look at some magsayo matches to be able to compare how clear the odds of these two boxers are

You can see some of the highlights of Magsayo in youtube, a young boxer who is hungry for a world title and he is still undefeated until now. I would say much, I'll let you see and judge it yourself, also watch his last fight to have an idea on what he can do in the ring even if he is winning in the early rounds.

Am not too familiar to the two fighters. Russell looks tough and Mark looks like a smart fighter. Russell is my favourite among the two, I can't really who win the fight though. I'll wait to see who the real winner is.

I think Mark is tough and Russell is smart, IMO, the smart fighter will win but I like to see Magsayo get his first world title.

The only way their spamming will decrease completely is when 1xbit shuts down all of their ongoing signature campaigns which doesn't look it will happen anytime soon.

That would not happen anytime soon, but what's important is for the readers to understand how to read the feedback, good sites have good feedback while bad sites have bad feedback, it's their responsibility to choose the right gambling site to play with where their money is safe, of course, if you are matured gambler, you'll go with reputable gambling sites.

Since the trust system is unmoderated, we will likely see more participants as long as 1xbit's budget for campaigns is still capable of paying these people.
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 20, 2021, 08:12:29 PM
My early picks will be for the super dogs.  Grin
Golden State Warriors versus Sacramento Kings - Warriors -13.5 Wiggins out due to health and safety protocols but with a fresh Steph Curry and Draymond Green should be enough to win the game in a blowout.

Chicago Bulls versus Houston Rockets - Bulls -7.5 These guys are still hungry for more wins and they had their long rest already. Even after a great exhausting game against the Lakers, they will look for one more win.

Good luck.

Both picks are good, Curry and Green together with their role players are enough to cover that handicap, knowing how deep the rotation of coach Kerr,

It's possible to win with a huge margin. Kings need to find defensive player to stop Steph if they want to push this game to a close match or even try winning it against the warriors.

While with the Bulls, with DeRozan, they need to keep winning again to bring the hype back with their team..

Line starts at -10.5 for the Warriors so I will go with it. Yes, Curry is back and so is Green and this one is on their homecourt so I expect them to come hard early and build a good lead.
It's already -12.5 now, but if you'll ask me, I think it's still good, Warriors can cover that high spread with Curry and Draymond back in the line up.

Quote
While Bulls with DeRozan is eager to duplicate their huge win against the Lakers, so -7.5 as well.
They'll play back to back, but against the Rockets who are inconsistent sometimes (just like the LA Lakers), so yes, I agree, we might see the same result but question is will the Bull cover this time?

Quote
Hard match to predict will be Clippers vs Spurs, both of this team are eager to win again after losing a close game.
In situation like this, I'd always favor the home team.
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 20, 2021, 07:50:34 PM
Well, I don't know if anyone watched the Lakers vs Bulls game.
Unfortunately the Lakers lost again, but one thing in particular caught my attention... It's the performance of some reserve players!
Both teams had some great contribution from the bench. Particularly the Bulls. Even though they didn't have Lavine at this game, the bench stepped up and did the job.

But DeRozan stole the show. 11/24 FG and 16/17 free throws... Not bad for a game like this.

With Lavine, I consider them a team to be reckoned with in the playoffs. I expect at least the conference finals from them.

Seems that DeRozan is trying to put a point in his comeback game as he carry the team without Zach Lavine. He goes toe to toe against all the defenders the Lakers have thrown on him .

I also love how Caruso takes on Lebron one on one, maybe they have done this a lot during their practice when Caruso was still in LA. But now as a Bulls he is not backing out, but Lebron opted to pass more often though.
DeRozan is unstoppable, he is having the best season of his career so he will make sure that the Bulls would go to the playoffs and earn a home-court advantage once the regular season is over. The Bulls have always been playing that way, whenever one of the big 3 is unavailable, the others will work hard to win, I just remember when Vucevic's was out, both Lavine and DeRozan were doing very well to carry the team and they are still winning.
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 20, 2021, 02:05:46 PM
After saw the result of his younger brother (Jake Paul) vs Woodley, I'm more confident Logan Paul will win in this match just like Jake Paul did. Even they're different and fight with different boxer, but this just show how success their business. As Tyson has a lose in his record, he wouldn't care... it's different with  Mayweather which no lose record, that's why Logan Paul lose the fight.

If they are really in business, then winning is very important to both of them regardless of their record.

Though Mayweather has an undefeated record but Mike Tyson is way more popular than him, we are talking of a legend here compared to Floyd who only have an undefeated record but not an entertaining fighter in the ring. I hope that Mike Tyson will show to the fans that despite his age, he can still fight toe to toe and it would be entertaining if we see some KO here.

Meanwhile, we have Phoenix vs Ginebra now, it's a close game, now tied at 102 with few minute left in the 4th quarter.
let's watch this game together.

The game went to OT but Ginebra manage to win the game because they have JB who made things possible. With that win, Ginebra is now ranked next to NLEX with 3-0 record, so this is really fun because big teams were having a good start at the expect of bad teams like NP and Blackwater Elite.

Ginebra is starting strong. They are now at second spot, the next will be against Magnolia who also has a good start.
While NLEX will be playing against the Fuel master.

You are right about this upcoming event. Aces has a much upper deck to win. It's now the handicap that gambler will look when betting in this match.

Best of luck guys... Wink

Another great good match for Ginebra, Magnolia is also a strong team with an undefeated record, so we will surely see a close game like the game of the Ginebra against the Phoenix, and I also expect a win by Ginebra here.

Quote
While with sister company TNT against Meralco, my heart is telling me to go with TNT ML...
I'll go for Magnolia plus points as I'm sure they will be the underdog.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 20, 2021, 12:08:45 PM
Three games were postponed last night. But I was contented with watching the big game that was Chicago Bulls - LA Lakers. There were important missing players like Zach LaVine and Anthony Davis for both teams. We watched a great competition in this game and Bulls succeeded in beating Lakers by 115-110. They were really effective especially in the first and last quarters. We watched a great duel between DeRozan and LeBron. DeRozan ended the game by being the top scorer (38 pts) of the game and had a big role in the win. And LeBron made a great double-double having 31 pts, 14 reb, 6 ast.
DeRozan was the winner here and he continues to show his MVP plays in this game. LA Lakers lose another game, I'm so disappointed although they really fought hard here because I was expecting that they'll start winning especially against a strong team like the Bulls.

You don't have to because in the first place LA Lakers are very inconsistent so far, you'd be surprisedd if they win against a good team, not disappointed. However, I believe it's still too early, the LA Lakars still have enough time to figure out how to win consistently and I believe it will happen this season.

If Westbrook and Davis gives consistent contribution, then most likely the LA Lakers will gain the trust of the fans.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People claiming themself satoshi on: December 19, 2021, 11:15:01 PM
There are some people who have claimed themselves as satoshi nakamoto. Craig is one of them. I'm sure all of them are fraud. Just trying to get into the focus, they are nothing but attention seeker.
Does it make them famous? I don't think so...
These people are more than seeking for attention but are just likely to get praise. But if cryptocurrency doesn't have this position, they're probably not.

I expect nothing less to happen, all this wouldn't have happen if Satoshi had revealed himself at the completion of its intervention. Now lots are showing to claim the reward of a great job done. I hope he get to know the real Satoshi with time.
That might be possible that nobody even going to believe him either.
That is why I could say that it was better for him to keep anonymous for his whole life in regards to crypto or until the moment comes that he needs to show in public (maybe his family knows already).
You're right. I also believe that he should stay anonymous since he was been doing that already for the longest time. And if ever he'll show up, people will still be doubting that he's one of those fake satoshis. And besides, he'll make no difference at all if he decides to come back, so maybe better he should stay out from the spotlight. And for those who claimed themselves as satoshi, they are just after with the fame and recognition that only the real Satoshi deserved it.

There was a time when the entire NBA community looked forward to the matchup of the Bulls vs Lakers.  I guess even as great as those two teams are, it is clear they are no dynasties.  You wouldn't have even known today's matchup was going on if you didn't look at the schedule...  Nevertheless, tonight's game is on NBATV and I'm not even sure who's playing these days with all the covid false positives and whatever other nonsense is keeping guys out of games this year.  I think it probably doesn't matter who is out anyway.  The Bulls are playing great basketball and the Lakers are trying to get by...
It will be fun to watch these two teams no matter who is going to play, these covid 19 problem does not only happen with these teams but with other teams as well, so we have no choice but to see what they can give. If I would gamble on this game, maybe I'll just wait for the game time and see if who are out so I could carefully evaluate my pick before placing it.

I just hope the important guys will be available to play.

There's only one way to find out, and that is by watching the game live before placing any bet. These days that it's very unpredictable on who are going to play, you have to be clever and don't trust the pregame betting odds, unless you have an inside info.
2959  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tesla accepting Bitcoin payments and ..... Doge ? on: December 19, 2021, 06:45:09 PM
I think Tesla and Elon Musk don't really accept bitcoin and Doge payments for their cars. Elon Musk has always been in the spotlight of crypto investors. Elon Musk is known in social media circles as a major troll, making statements that could affect the price of bitcoin and Doge. Moreover, this is not the first time he has made a mess on social media. Since last year, he made a statement that received Dogecoin payments for his vehicles but then he canceled them.

It's doesn't matter though, bitcoin is already too big and not even one man like Elon Musk can stop it.

If he accept it like what he did before then good, if not we are going to be ok. And lately though, as far as I'm concern, he is no longer relevant to the bitcoin ecosystem.

Yes, he could have invested on it, but that's just it. We should move forward and totally forget about him.
Of course Elon Musk can't stop bitcoin. but we also can't just forget Elon Musk's presence in the Cryptocurrency world because every time Elon Musk tweets about cryptocurrency, the market seems to react to it.

People don't want to miss the hype that's why we see how the market react for certain times but we shouldn't get hype for certain situation since we know Elon sometimes have downturns after he already accumulated profit again.  So we need to be watchful on what is the content of his tweet since sometimes his influence can manipulate the minds of the people especially with those new ones.

Knowing Elon, he is just pursuing his own personal interests in crypto, and once he is full of gains, then he will leave the market without notice. But bitcoin cannot be easily manipulated this time as big institutions are already at the back of bitcoin.

However, Tesla accepting Shiba or Dogecoin are definitely all lies. This may be another trick for Elon to hype dogecoin and Shiba Inu so that it will create more community and in the end, Elon will still be the big winner and those who believed in hype will definitely face losses in the future.

"Experience is the best teacher" as the saying goes. Make the dark past as motivation to improve the future that is not yet dark. If we continue to be stuck with the past and never want to fix it, everyone will be easily stressed and traumatized to try new things and eventually go crazy. Everyone goes through tough times, so there are times when we change all the circumstances to achieve our dreams.

"Take risk. Either you win or learn something". There is no need to cry on what's done. Done is done now. Take your past as an opportunity to increase your experience not a bad memory to carry you with. Almost all of us have failures in the past, those who stand up and never give up after every failure are deemed to get success.
Stay in positive mindset. Failures are not the reason to give up nor to quit, but a reason to move on. In fact, our mistakes in the past should be our greatest motivation not to do it again and of course, learn from all of them. And do not stay living in regrets as past is past. We can't do anything to change them but we can make them right at the present if we have have the proper mindset and good motivation to move on, and create success this time.
