2941  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: April 22, 2016, 10:36:42 AM
For 1 Bitcoin to be worth $1,000,000, the total market cap of Bitcoin would have to be $21 trillion dollars. What are the odds of this happening?

For reference, the amount of physical $dollars and coins in circulation are around $1.2 trillion. The global M2 money supply of all currencies are around $45 trillion. The market cap of all mined gold is around $7 trillion.

Will 1 Bitcoin be worth a million dollars? Half a million? Thoughts?

1 word, OP. Unrealistic. Smiley

Hello, I just want to inform you that Gamebet.gg is actually 'open' for new participants right now. Smiley

In the OP, it's said that it's closed for new participants but actually it's not. Smiley
2943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: April 22, 2016, 10:23:53 AM
What's stopping people from using bitcoin, you ask? The majority of people don't know what is bitcoin and they might as well never heard of it. People tend to fear the unknown, because the aren't informed about bitcoin, they fear that it's a scam or smth. Without proper knowledge about bitcoin, you'll never understand its advantages over fiat money. And because the majority of people are too lazy to study bitcoin, then they just ignore it.
2944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is there any legal way to bet BTC in the USA on: April 22, 2016, 10:16:38 AM
Well, if you do online gambling, of course its legal. I can't think of a reason why betting with BTC would be illegal especially in the USA.
2945  Economy / Economics / Re: Why better tech can't kill Bitcoin on: April 22, 2016, 10:02:33 AM
Bitcoin will inevitably evolve overtime. It's become popular nowadays thus it's demand will be higher. I think when we get to the stage where we are living with robots, bitcoin is the main currency in the world. People love to use stuffs that are famous, because they think they are 'in'.

And also most people of science are pro bitcoin so I doubt that better tech stands a chance to kill bitcoin.
2946  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: i know i am newbie but i am good at gambling on: April 22, 2016, 09:55:33 AM
LOL How did you become good in gambling (especially online gambling that uses btc) in the first place if your country is not able to access any bitcoin? Grin
2947  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to invest your bitcoin? on: April 22, 2016, 09:48:17 AM
The best investment so far that I think for bitcoins is doing trading. Having a good capital and having some friends that are experts in trading will make you get your ROI in no time. In my case, we do have a Group Chat on Facebook and that's where we talk about what to buy and when to sell it.

But if you're looking for an investment site, then I suggest try using hashocean. I don't use it though, but my friends are. Cheesy
Good luck wherever you'll invest your money.
2948  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: April 22, 2016, 09:38:24 AM
Investing is actually pretty good if you got into a legit investment. I doubt that it's easy to find one but investing got its bad reputation solely because of the HYIP and ponzis out there. If you will not fall victim into one of those, then it's fine to invest.
2949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: April 13, 2016, 07:56:51 AM
Eth and Lisk are good opportunities only for traders, but for long run don't even consider them as some kind of competitors to the Bitcoin. This is only hype and people are overjoyed with pump, but this is normal thing when pump starts.

The Ethereum has much bigger develop team. It has more chances to succeed than the lisk or other altcoins.
2950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: April 07, 2016, 07:04:02 PM

Also the HYIP investments sites dont let us start with small amount of investment, so that we can try with less Santoshi and double them and gain trust. There is always a limit for minimum bitcoin deposits in such websites.

Most HYIP are scam. They may stay months but in the end, same ending: SCAM or not paying.I advise newbie to stay away from this program, they may pay you at first to encourage you to invest more.

Even in mining now, there are site i see that they are scam at first look, they offer ROI in days pretending as mining site Smiley

Actually all HYIP always end up as a scam but just like what you have said, some may stay months that and you can take that advantage to make profit. That's basically what I am doing right now. But of course I wouldn't recommend it to newbies, it will be too risky for them

HYIP is very bad for most people. There will be no ROI for most of us. It will have some ROI for the people earlier in the game.
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: March 29, 2016, 07:18:00 AM
can btc  do the same thing as ethereum ?  is rootstock similiar

you mean 10x increase? bitcoin has do it two time already, one was 25x increase in 2011, so yes it's above thereum already, and you will see another huge pump this year with the halving

The halving could double the price of bitcoin. If the block size increase to 2MB or higher and the price will be even higher.
2952  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 will not survive the weekend on: March 04, 2016, 06:15:01 PM
Another kwduck shitty prediction under an alt. Report and ban. Or actually leave the thread here to add even more shame for this endless collection of failed FUD prediction. This guy is a walking meme at this point. I can't wait to be above 400 dollars by monday consolidating moon time.

The price will consolidate around the $420 level for a few weeks at least. It is good for the next rise to $500.

That situation is very easy to happen. I think the price will trade within a range in the next few months.
2953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: February 21, 2016, 08:50:25 PM
You can store you bitcoins and wait for a nice price, you can invest your bitcoins in some sites or trade it.

I like the first part of the suggestion. We should hold most of the coin. We may invest a small portion.
2954  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 will not survive the weekend on: February 08, 2016, 10:58:29 AM
hmm i guess it wasnt that stable above 400 Tongue, but the current price looks pretty good. its been around 380 for many weeks now. i just hope it stays here lol.

It would be better if the price rise slowly. We do not want it to be 20% in a weeks. We want it to be 4% in month.

The volatility of the price will kill the adoption of bitcoin. But it is still in early stages. So it is normal for the price to be volatile.
2955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: January 27, 2016, 08:52:23 AM
since i had not earned btc but many of my friends are earning through btc by investment .

Do they buy bitcoin directly or invest in bitcoin business?
2956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: January 14, 2016, 09:50:31 AM
i think the easiest way would be to try participating in signature campaigns that can pay you high amounts of money also you can try you luck in gambling games and possibly win a lot of cash though you have to be very careful with that

Taking part in signature campaign is a good choice. But your post quality should be high so you can be accepted.
2957  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 will not survive the weekend on: January 02, 2016, 08:44:32 PM
I like this stability, because it provides more certainty to potential bitcoin investors. I don't see a price below the $350 level, and it is more likely a gradual rise to $600 in the next months.

I would be happy to see this, but I have a feeling volatility is going to be surprisingly high for 2016.

I totally agree as the halving and the mining arms race are going to have consequences

Mining arms race will increase the cost of mining, which will reduce the incentive to sell the bitcoins.
2958  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction 2] Another Potential Member Account. on: December 21, 2015, 02:08:43 PM
I think he farmed the account and there are not many posts. So maybe there is no bitcoin address posted by the account.
2959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: December 10, 2015, 02:14:31 PM
By trading or joining signature campaign

Signature campaign can be a good one. However, you need to produce good posts. Otherwise, you will be banned.

The development and implementation of Lightning Network has to be sped up. The main chain will reach its capacity early next year.
