They aren't going to find out much if you use Bitcoin. Is it the government? You're screwed. However, I read that those two kept the private keys of the 119,754 BTC to a cloud server. I highly doubt they were cautious enough. Also, this doesn't make sense: I think the transaction the Government cannot track in the block-chain technology has not be made. For me it's all about the results. If I got really drawn to these games, I'd keep playing regardless of trust that I have towards the people who run these or audit them. This is an interesting thought I had recently too.
The hacked funds were taking in cryptocurrencies but a lot of the payouts and buybacks were done in fiat. Since it was in 2016 it started and took a few years for people to be paid back, bitfinex might have to refund people their crypto but they might find a reason not to...
It would really be just considerable if Bitfinex would really consider out on not to give any coins back into those users who had been affected by the hack.Why? They had already refunded or compensate earlier which means they dont have already the responsibility of doing so even the coins been retrieved out but pretty much sure that there would be users who would really file up and tending to have some part but on general or actual sense of things then they do have the full rights on whatever Bitfinex would really to do about of those coins. |

Once again I have failed to buy the dip when BTC was still around $33k to $35k and now standing at $42k+ (it even got up to $45.2k before rejected by the resistance level). I blame myself because of being too busy in my work. Can’t believe I have missed buying the dip again.

You need to understand what purpose you are using bitcoin for and in what qualities you are comparing it to fiat money. It seems to me that bitcoin is now hard to be classified as a means of payment, it is more suitable as a means of accumulation. As long as almost everything in the world is counted in fiat money (dollars, euros), bitcoin is not going to be a convenient means of payment.
^That is what they are thinking now for those who have been adopting BTC, it is all about storing value just to make a profit and not just a mode of payment, probably there are some using this as a mode of payment but the majority are using this because of accumulation and while making profit through hoarding it and waiting for a good value comes. But I don't think BTC is a good option than fiat because for me they have pros and cons of each other that we should consider before deciding its functionalities. Both are useful for me. It would be nothing new and nothing far from what happens when the law of demand and supply applies and that is, flooding the market with more bitcoins and should that be of significant, it would push the market to being bearish but, the market is sure to recover shortly afterwards. Though, I don't think the government would want to do that. Perhaps the next good thing would have been to see how they could compensate indigenous users of the exchange but, there no support for bitcoin could be some reason in the way. Coupled with what ever conspiracy they might have. All for now would be assumptions that there would be some sort of compensation but they have already done that in the past which it is unlikely that they would be given some of those coins recovered. It is indeed for sure it would make out some impact but not really that much considering into those number of coins which wouldnt really be that enough on taking the market down unless if there would be some sort of FUD which make things even more worst but for now all of those things are just presumptions and theres no guarantee that it could happen. I don't find any real usability for this Metaverse: actually I think it will only make people and society dumber and closer to the Idiocracy movie. Spending time online wearing some stupid glasses it's a no no for me. Also the NFTs are a waste of time and money, I wouldn't buy useless digital shoes and buildings.
