2941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many negative posts about BTC lately? on: April 30, 2021, 03:49:10 PM
Do they come from the Dogecoin supporters?

I remember way back when BTC and Dogecoin supporters were friends, it's not happening anymore I guess. Now Dogecoin supporters hope to take over BTC Cheesy It's not gonna happen.

Too bad this meme coin has been destroyed like that giving it nothing more than a pump and dump status. Thank you Elon!  Roll Eyes
If someone says bad about bitcoin, just ignore it. They only did that because to make people panic, and then sell their coins. Which absolutely make them to get more cheaper price of bitcoin and then will support it again to make people buy it and then they can take profit. Every fud i usually not follow and just keep hold my coins because there will be a lot of more support with it.
Whales have always something to do to manipulate the market. And these negative news about bitcoin that came out of the market might be one of their strategies so that investors will resort into panic selling making bitcoin price to drop more. Once this happens, whales will grab the opportunity to buy more bitcoin and wait for huge returns in the future as bitcoin will always bound to recover after every fall.
2942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: April 29, 2021, 11:34:51 PM
There are lots of potential coins with a cheap value yet have a high volume in the market. You only have to do your own research. There will be lots of suggestions but things will depend on the period of holding that you prefer and your capability to deal with a certain coin's movement. Try to check for their background first and their function as a coin because there are coins nowadays without real function but increasing just because of the hype.
It depends on our preferences and as an investor, we have to choose the project that could give us returns, not because of someone told us.
I didn't mention any coin to invest in as I assume that we all know what coin is the best.
At this time, we better stop thinking about x5, x10, and we have to stop chasing them coz that might be the reason for our losses and failure.
2943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin high fee has brought dogecoin to limelight on: April 29, 2021, 11:20:52 PM
Apart from Elon musk hyping dogecoin these past months that got price hanging at $0.05 now the price has gone skyrocket. The skyrocket price of doge I believe is becayof the high fees of bitcoin transaction.

Dogecoin is proving to be a more optional coin to bitcoin and that is undoubtedly pushing price high and for the first time dogecoin has made a return to faithful hodlers. Grin Roll Eyes
I don't think about optional because Dogecoin is not even close to Bitcoin no matter what Elon Musk to do. Besides, it was just the hypes that help Doge to skyrocket, but I'm not sure if it still in the skyrocket once the altseason will end. I surely see that it drops again like in the situation before the hypes.

Nothing special with Dogecoin, we don't need to fool ourselves believing that this coin will enlighten us in the future. Because it was just Elon Musk benefiting this more, not the investors, not us. And this huge fee is temporary, in fact, it is getting low already.
2944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 29, 2021, 09:56:50 AM
Manny Pacquiao  is a guy who promotes fraud like GCOX exchange . Why doesn't the moderation close this topic and mark it red?

That doesn't sound like it's related to the topic, let the law go after Manny if he really has violated a law, it's hard to judge him without evidence, we may not like him being a crypto man but he is a legend in boxing, we should respect him.

True, this is a thread about boxing and about a boxing match but his comment is about Manny promoting fraud. Now I would suggest that you put out a new thread about this and put it on another part of the thread like Scams or Accusations (I think?). Anyway, if you have some allegations of something bad then the first thing you should do is to put some proof with the said allegation or show it on that different thread. I am curious to where your allegations come from.

Exactly, we have a scam accusation thread if indeed this allegation is true, and there should be an official document or evidence that would prove Manny has scammed people, a mere accusation would not make sense, although we are all into crypto but we have to be responsible in spreading the news.

@Op, I guess this thread should be lock by now since this fight is not happening anymore.
2945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: April 29, 2021, 09:38:25 AM
for how long it lasts is not certain, but what we need to know is that when the correction goes down it will not last long and then increases. so I think the bull run will still hold but when the time is uncertain it's just that the market is still good for now
I guess the hype for a bull run is slowly disappearing, we never know if we will see a new ATH, but IMO, there's a likelihood that the price will dump than it will pump. Speaking of correction, we haven't witnessed a heavy correction yet, and I guess people are expecting it to happen anytime soon.
2946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 28, 2021, 11:12:54 PM
Emotions are hard to control in reality, some say it could but that was just a hearsay's, nobody could even tell himself that I'll be consistent in doing this.

Frustrations are just the result of our bad actions. We keep blaming ourselves (or someone) because of the mistakes but I don't think this is a good idea. Instead of blaming ourselves, why not make this a reason to educate ourselves and be cautious for the next decisions. If we wanted to improve, then we also to accept that sometimes we lose.
2947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: April 28, 2021, 10:58:00 AM
If the bull run is over, why my alts are keep pumping? :-D Don't buy that FUD.
Just some negative news had some impact on the market, but if you see the whole picture, bitcoin fell with ~ 23% and then recovered back. Compared to 2017-2018 market, the percentages are approx the same just the value of the red candles in USD is a bit more shocking, but the green candles are also impressive.
The recent FUD was all about Biden and as well as Elon's sold 10% of Tesla's bitcoin holdings. It is interesting to see that bitcoin and other alts have also recovered very well.
Ethereum did the best on this recovery and made it back to $2,600.
I think Ethereum is so impressive, although bitcoin was sick now, Ethereum still hold its price very well. I think Ethereum will pump up maybe it can reach $3000 soon. The price of ethereum at the end of March was $1800 but now $2600, it is surprisingly amazing though.

It has continued to rise, $3,000 is not that impossible, it's very conservative as a prediction with the current price trend of ETH. It seems like the bull run is still here or the altcoin season as although bitcoin has been moving sideways, we can still see some altcoins are rising, particularly the ETH and DOGE.
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 28, 2021, 10:04:48 AM
I'm looking at the New York Knicks vs Bulls, I think Knicks will come back strong after their lost, line at -5.5 @1.95 is very attractive.

What do you think guys?

I've say go for it, yes the Knicks has lost, but the team has built a good chemistry already with Randall on top. And they have a good records against a non winning percentage team like the Bulls who is 26-35.

So that line is very attractive indeed, they might covered it plenty to spare.

Phoenix Suns vs LA Clippers is what interest me, I think this is a good matchup, 7-3 in their last 10 while Clippers is 8-10. Suns slight favourite, I think I'll go with Suns at -3.5.

The line is just right because Leonard won't be playing in this game.

https://www.si.com/nba/clippers/news/la-clippers-kawhi-leonard-doubtful-phoenix-suns

It will be up to PG and the crew on how they will win against a good team (suns).
This could be a playoff matchup, but it would not be nice to witness if Clippers will have Leonard, so there's no reason Suns could not win here.
2949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 27, 2021, 11:32:10 PM
I believed that bitcoin will not last because of government policy is against bitcoin and many people is seeing bitcoin as a scam, so with such points I don't think bitcoin will stay till 2030, and if bitcoin stay till then that means it will stay till further notice.
Please am not here to criticised cryptocurrency but from the attacks government attacks crypto I think such will come in reality.

It is uncertain and it remains like that forever. It wasn't the infinity life I saw in Bitcoin but I believe that it still able to stay in the market for many years. I don't worried about being controlled by the government or they ban this because they do this already in the past years but it is still fine and perhaps, Bitcoin is growing more and more. This simply means that no one could able to stop Bitcoin unless people had no longer use this.
2950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: April 25, 2021, 11:34:03 PM
Bitcointsalk is a really important forum, which let many people get necessary information about cryptocurrency world, but your situation is just a luck, there many good and not good ideas here. Forum is a free place for everyone`s thoughts, so be careful and don`t do the same one more time, always do your own research despite on all forum`s advisors
yeah, OP is a lucky person who got this project on time. We can't really rely on luck in crypto investment but somehow we will be needing it.
But I think, everyone now seems so lucky this year as the market is in Bullrun, almost all coins are in hype cause their investment to grow but we shouldn't have to be confident that this will stay longer and we never keep holding, but rather to be satisfied and sell it now.
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 24, 2021, 02:57:21 PM
Good for the future? I don't see it a good thing because when ETH network will be congested, the network fee will increase again, and to see it drop doesn't mean its good because people who transact regularly does always want a cheap and fast transaction fee, ETH network has not given that.
I was almost tired of waiting for the fees to slow down and get back to their normal transaction fees before but that seems not clear enough when to see it back again. Really disappointing how it comes like this and most holder stuck their ERC20 tokens and are not able to sell them due to high fees. And I just hope that people could still be patient more, July is rumored to have the upgrade of ETH20 is quite long, and can't be sure as well if this could change everything.
2952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Control your trading emotional outburst and get yourself together! on: April 24, 2021, 02:44:27 PM
In the first place, trading is totally stressful. Yeah, you can't just think that this job gives you an easy life because it was different in real life. Panic selling, being in FOMO, common things to happens.

And for those who can't afford to manage themselves out from this, it mentally affects their minds and could bother them too much. And that is why they could hardly control their emotions and mostly push them to make any stupid and bad decisions. It is a worse case to happen and yeah, we can't simply ignore that.
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 24, 2021, 12:41:39 PM
I’m glad we have a date for this that is seemingly set in stone. I’m excited to watch and I’m in the camp that thinks the Jake Paul fight made this one much more interesting. Logan may still not have much of a chance, but I want to believe and Jake’s fight has given me the fuel to do so. Bring on June 5th.

against the top fighter of all time? Floyd had beaten all his opponents. he is a five-division world champion, he earns his living thru his boxing career all his life and he will just be beaten by this joker. It's a fixed fight. if it's a real fight and Paul still wins this David vs Goliath-like fight, i would really think Paul had given Solomon Engel the wildest blow job of his life.

I'm really confuse why some people believe that Logan Paul can actually beat Mayweather, these people might be dreaming, Mayweather would not fight if he can't beat an opponent and though he is already older now, but he still has that ability and he is still fit to fight.

No matter what kind of training Logal Paul will do, he stand no chance against Floyd "MONEY" Mayweather Jr.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: April 24, 2021, 12:28:29 PM
Today's btc around $49k, market not stable and this may likely look the bull market is whining down, but we don't need to panicking with situation surrending the market.
Let's observe if the market will be bullish again, once bitcoin pump to over $50k, then maybe it's the righ time to ride again as it could reach $60k again. Thats how price will increase if its still bullish, but on the other end, it could also dump further if we are indeed in bearish market already.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 24, 2021, 12:10:31 PM
with playoffs getting closer and closer, I think the lakers management and coaching staff should play LeBron and Davis in the playoffs there is no need for them to rush to play in the regular season maybe 5-10 minutes of play should if they insist they want to play although I think they will contest it, they should think about the championship, not the regular season, they will be frustrated with it but they will benefit a lot,
They might make them play with restricted minutes if ever the roleplayers will fail to win some of their games.
35 wins at number 5 while Mavs and Blazers tailing them at number 6 and 7 with 32 wins.
There are still 13 games left and it's possible for Lakers to enter a play-in tournament if they can't even win some of the games left. They are not safe yet. I think this is the reason why they are letting AD play to heat him up.
Tomorrow, they will be battling against the Mavs again. Injury reports are swollen on the Lakers team while two on Mavs, Maxi Kleber and KP.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/teams/LAL/los-angeles-lakers/injuries/

This is an advantage of the Lakers as Mavs are missing their big man, Davis and Drummond should dominate inside, and hopefully Davis minutes will be extended in this game. Both teams needed a win, so this should be a great an exciting game to watch, Luka Magic vs the Lake show.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now It's Time For All Weak Hands To Drop Their Bitcoins! on: April 23, 2021, 12:32:26 PM
Not automatically weak hands when one is dumping his bitcoin.

Smart short term traders understands that bearish market could come or correction will happen, so they could dump their btc for a stable coin while waiting until the price will dip more before they will start buying again. For long term holder, it's different, if they dump then its an automatic weak hands.
2957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fee on: April 23, 2021, 12:08:13 PM
Any update now? since Bitcoin down fall to 40,000 level?
We never know that let's just observe the market, its due for a correction and its' already happening now.
it could fall to $40k as nothing is impossible, but believe that it will bounce back.

read some : https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-relief-move-to-47k-pushes-btc-below-stock-to-flow-trajectory

Does anyone transact these days?
I made a transaction, I paid 0.0003 btc or 15 usd for s single transaction, not worth for micro transactions.
2958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: April 22, 2021, 11:19:43 PM
First thing first, it shouldn't be big deal whether which among the two are better. They serve their own purpose on crypto market, they are design with different and unique purpose. But to answer the question, I think eth have the advantage when it comes to nodes. Nodes of eth are much more compare to bsc
Investors will never look into that and find who is better and who's not. What most important is that we are safely investing the right coin and could benefit in the future.

But for me, ETH has been proven for a very long-time, while BSC is a new project. Maybe we could expect BSC for great help and impact to the market but not that much as ETH's capabilities. It is still a long way to go before BSC was able to compete against ETH.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 22, 2021, 11:55:56 AM
The New York Knicks is getting straight wins which take them into 4th spot in the Eastern Conference by beating the Atlanta Hawks today in the overtime. Looks like the few games left will be hard for those who are in the tight spot because every team right now is playing as we've never seen before.
Correct.
Even with teams at high seeds will need to take care of every games they will play.
Every win is a must to avoid the play-in tournament. Knicks might be in 4th rank but the 7th rank is just 2 wins away from them.
Julius Randle is the key player to this Knicks team which is why they are on the safe spot.
He had been scoring like crazy and stepped up his game. Then there is Rose for support and Quickley taking up a notch for every game he plays.
Knicks has a bright future for this young players.
he is a bigger version of Steph Curry, this guy has suddenly become a great 3 point shooting. On the win against the Hawks, he was shooting 6-8 from beyond the arc, if he can be consistent with that, I guess Knicks will be a big surprise in the playoffs.
They've already pull a surprised already by having a winning streak that put them in the 4th spot in a highly contested Eastern conference. And the top 3 of Eastern conference is on a losing skid, that gives the Knicks the edge somewhat.

Knicks vs Raptors on Sunday, this is going to be good, I do hope that Toronto will play their stars against the Knicks and no load management for Paskal Siakam.

Another test for the Knicks, Raptors are also a good team, they bet the Nets so they are already starting to win. Let's hope they will not set their stars, we want to see some real action without no excuses from the Raptors, in this game, I think I'll still bet on the Knicks as I want to see their win streak continue.
