DeMar DeRozan trade rumors: Five possible fits after anonymous agent claims star 'doesn't like San Antonio'

Credits: CBS
Quote
"DeMar doesn't like San Antonio and doesn't want to be there," an anonymous agent told The Athletic.
We keep on hearing this kind of statement from players.
What is really behind the San Antonio team?
Is it Pops? Management? Locker room behaviors?
IIRC, Kawhi's agent said the same thing.

On other news.
Stan Van Gundy agrees to become coach of Pelicans

2942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Holders - What do you do with your BNB? on: October 22, 2020, 02:28:59 PM
Is BNB and BSC has the same value?

It's easier for me to identify BSC like ERC-20.
Binance Smart Chain like Ethereum Network. I don't know if a coin BSC exists.

To OP.
I prefer holding it for a long time.
Obviously, they are updated with every event that is happening in the cryptocurrency industry and that means a lot.
First is creating BSC that made a lot of hype and some coins are now swapping to them (from ERC-20) for cheap and faster transactions.

2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for Cornhole on sportbooks on: October 22, 2020, 10:43:32 AM
According the article https://www.legitgamblingsites.com/blog/curling-and-the-most-hilarious-sports-you-can-bet-on/

That's the list of 9 strangest sports, this means most of us don't know about this game, and just like the poster above, it's my first time to hear this game.

This also explains the game ;https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornhole

Yeah, the first time I heard about this game too and I was intrigued.  Grin
Watched some clips on Youtube and I was shocked by how simple the game yet needs accuracy.

I think this game really came from rings that are being thrown in a stick which also requires putting the ring in.
I don't know any sportsbook who had been putting this kind of game on their sites but they may want to add it.

Do they still check if those bags are filled with kernel or beans? Or, they could just put sand in it?  Cheesy
2944  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 22, 2020, 08:50:28 AM
Not being able to buy a new 40" OLED for Christmas because the US government is not giving a new round of stimulus is not a crisis.
LOL.  Grin

I know that our government and those elites are interested in crisis that benefits them in one way or the other, since they are all evil. How about they start investing those money in places where it matters, like creating job opportunities enough so that people will have jobs to be able to afford for their feeding, and also help the poor people in the community? How about them trying to make peace and maintain it, instead of fighting wars all the time? Crisis will only lead us to destruction and nothing more.
They do give jobs since they are also consumers afterward.
It will just circulate until we end up being hit in the head and look for another job or just make our own business.
The thing is, they love that kind of circulation. That way, they will stay on the top or as we call them, "elites".
While they provide jobs to keep us under them.
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 22, 2020, 06:03:07 AM
Some seemed to forget how good the Warriors is as a team.

They have 5 trips in the NBA finals, won 3 of them, it's a championship team, even Durant leave, the core is still there, they will remain a championship team as long as Curry, Thompson, and Green are in the team.

here, worth a read.

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/2021-nba-finals-six-reasons-why-warriors-will-play-title

Thank you Botnake for the link.
That is really worth the read.

A young team surrounded by champions. What will be expecting? A lot.  Wink
Looking forward to Wiggins putting a big exclamation point next season. I am hoping he can learn more from the core trio of GSW.
Although they are young, they are veterans in some terms like playoffs and Finals experience.
They had their rest, time to wake up the monster.
2946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PUMP, But Every other Coin Dumping!! on: October 21, 2020, 06:13:32 PM
A simple way, you can follow this:
BTC Pump : Altcoin Down
BTC Down : Altcoin More Down
BTC Stable After The Pump/Dump : Altcoin starting to back up again and could be higher than the previous price before the dump happened.

I like this one.
Had the same motto even before.
I mean after USDT was created.
But before that, it was Bitcoin up, altcoin down, and vice versa.
Now, you won't see that anymore. It requires a good coin project for it to go up when bitcoin is being pumped.
Stable coins really made a lot of change when it comes to trading.
2947  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 21, 2020, 05:33:35 PM
Doesn't need to dent anything.
An upgrade will be better.
Fiat will remain. If you look at provinces, they need it more daily with a lack of technology.
They can't just take it away.

Make Japan as a good example.
More in digital transactions than cash. But, the cash remains. Right?
Printing money cannot be handled by anyone or any group. Just the government, or else it will be mayhem.
2948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 21, 2020, 03:13:44 PM
<snip>
You are right but the things that you had mention were also there before the pandemic. Meaning that earnings for now and before will be different if we will based on the number of crowds going in and pay in the stadium plus the food businesses they had outside for the fans to buy during the game. How many games they can get during the play offs and the finals? This is one of the that affects income to PBA. I think that this season still earn profit but are a little bit lesser compare to earning profit prior to covid19 pandemic.

Yeah, it sure is different.
I am not saying it is equal but just the fact that profits are still there.
Hell, AS won't be continuing into the bubble if there is none. All of that was calculated beforehand.

Now, they will need to find what strength is there when everyone is just watching online or the television.
If it needs to put more patches in every jersey then do so. Just don't let it become too heavy for the player.  Grin
2949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 11:24:12 AM
I once said it in another thread on what I do whenever I am in a losing streak.
3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?
Superstitions. When I am having a losing streak, I stand up. Rest a bit and let the bad luck get out.

Rest man.
Forget about it for a while.
I think you should've learned this from your experience.
If you think lady luck is not on your side then stop. Try the next day. Don't let the ego win against you by trying to win it back in an instant.
2950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 21, 2020, 10:06:03 AM
Now that's new.
I am expecting XRP to be on top. Sadly, it was Tron.
Why sadly?
Because Tron is not that much used in the market. According to me.  Grin
Yeah, I would rather pick XRP or just swallow the high tx fee of Ethereum now.

Is this some form of endorsement for swapzone?
I thought about that too.
I just hoped it was well written without missing some coins that are also existing and well known.
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 21, 2020, 04:59:26 AM
Can the NBA still continue with the same set up like the Bubble in case there's still no vaccine? I think that would still be expensive while they are not anymore making the usual income, I'm just curious as well on how long they'll last with the current situation.
I think they can.
Last season, they can just stop the league if there won't be money coming in.
But, they still continue which means they can still balance it.
The amount they are talking is a huge amount, that's the amount of money NBA has lost without a crowd.
Man, I don't want to go deep when it comes to financing.  Grin There are just too many calculations that need to be done.
But here is what comes into my mind.
They ended the season successfully that will give an impact.
Investors will start coming in and advertisement will be overflowing.

To help us be enlightened.
TNT and ESPN:
Quote
TV accounts for most of the NBA’s revenue. For the 2016-2017 season, TNT and ESPN re-upped their contracts to an estimated $24 billion in total. The nine-year deal earns the NBA approximately $2.6 billion per year.

NBA's Merchandise Deals
Quote
There’s another major contributor to the NBA revenue, and unlike the others, this one corresponds to something tangible. Merchandise accounts for well over a billion dollars annually, and in the 2017-2018 season, for the first time in the NBA's history, teams wore advertisements on their jerseys.

Jersey Patch Revenue
Quote
The jersey patch program was launched in 2016, and on average, the advertisements on the jerseys have netted teams $9.3 million annually.

There's more. Please continue here.
Conclusion: Every company written on the NBA floor needs to pay. Imagine just even that patch on every single jersey.  Wink
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 20, 2020, 04:08:50 PM
If I were to suggest to the commissioner, I would set the NBA season on January, considering the players who stayed long in the bubble, they have missed their love ones in their homes. I don't know what will be the next NBA set-up, but I guess there will be another restrictions for the players to go outside, ot It would also be in the bubble. So, I guess those players deserves to be with their family in Christmas.
Though I'm excited for the next season, because for sure there will be a lot of changes in roster. Can't wait to see who's building superteams, as the Lakers are on the verge of achieving a big 3.

Yes, January will be the best time to start.
Let them have a good rest first and enjoy whatever they missed.

There will be no problem with time management since they will all be in the same venue unlike before that requires flights from East to West and even going to another country like Canada.
Now, teams can play every other day without feeling the restless trip. Just like what they did these playoffs.
2953  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 20, 2020, 02:01:46 PM
there is a famous phase in crypto trading DYOR ( do your own research )

It's not just research. Never trust your money to anyone.
I think that is the point of OP.
Trade by yourself. Learn everything on your own so that you won't regret anything if something wrong will happen.

The better part if you lose is the experience.
You cannot get that when you just let people trade for you.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 20, 2020, 10:47:29 AM
1. Which one do you prefer, Casino gambling or online gambling?
Online gambling. I can still control it now unlike in real-time gambling.
2. How much money are you willing to spend on gambling?
$300-500 or maybe more when it gets exciting.
3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?
Superstitions. When I am having a losing streak, I stand up. Rest a bit and let the bad luck get out.
4. If you will have $1000, what game in the casino you are going to play?
Poker, blackjack or slots.
5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?
Don't do loans whenever you lose. Stop and go home. Better luck next time.
2955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 20, 2020, 08:32:11 AM
No. As long as there is the thought of making money thru investing in new projects then it will be unstoppable.
That's the actual hype that is happening out there.
Being a millionaire in an instant.
They are still looking for the "bitcoin-like" event where a coin will just burst into having a high value in just a short span of time.
But, I doubt it will happen again with the divided money of investors in various projects.
2956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 20, 2020, 06:19:21 AM
Draymond is not a good shooter but he brings energy to the team, if he sets up good he can shoot in the 3 point line, and that makes him scary. What I like about him is his aggressiveness, his defense is underrated at his size, and his passing ability also is extra ordinary, that's the reason his teammates can find open shots especially Curry and Thompson who are good 3 point shooters.
I agree with that.
But, bad things could happen and it already did. Injuries.
It would be better if they could maximize the capability of everyone to make an offensive attack.
That way, the defense can easily be broken.  Wink

Yes, but it was Harden himself making a prediction that his team will be a champion, but it didn't happen, so I think he should just shut up and do it in action in the court, Curry and Thompson never boost about their team but they are so successful playing together, what the Rockets need is more work less talk.
Lol.  Grin
That's hardcore. I think he did it on purpose as a boost of confidence to his teammates.
But next time, he should be accurate about it.  Grin
2957  Other / Archival / Re: Potential shortage of bitcoins? on: October 19, 2020, 04:36:45 PM
Traders and panic sellers will have a big part in this shortage that will happen.
I think they are forgetting to consider that.
When supply is lower means a higher price.
A higher price means a selling point to those who want their cash back. Also, let us not forget the $20k buyers of 2017.
If it hits that mark again then I am sure they won't hesitate to sell.
2958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 19, 2020, 03:51:46 PM
Thankfully, television and the internet were also discovered.  Grin
Because there is no sense playing in the bubble without viewers.

I just hope they won't put a higher price for VIP watching.
I mean, they could increase it a little to gain some profits but there will still be advertisements that will pay high amounts to get a spot.
As a fan of sports, I am grateful for what they had done especially the NBA.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 19, 2020, 02:24:16 PM
That's already a new poll stadus?
I'm kinda loss now, haha..
It's okay. That happens to all of us.  Wink

They will bounce back, I am sure about that.
Even without KD, they can make it happen. They don't really have him in the first place.
I am sure there will be exciting trades will happen again but I'm not expecting a Superstar to fill that in but more like to fill the missing role they don't have that much right now like a Center and a reserve player/s for that role. I am not expecting they will be that explosive since their main players are just getting back from rehabilitation from their injuries but having those the kind of Curry and Thompson on the court really makes a big difference they really put a show.
Yeah, if you look at their roster, they don't really have a center.
It is just Kevon Looney and Draymond Green who will play that position.
I think they can manage that since a lot of teams now are doing the same.
Improvements is want I want to see especially with Draymond. I hope he already learned to shoot now making the team more frightening.  Cheesy
2960  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar future on: October 19, 2020, 11:46:44 AM
There is always a solution to a problem.
Create more money and let the value of USD fall.  Grin
That way they will still survive.

This is one of the problems when you are still trying to be the top country but just cannot get the grip anymore.
It would be better to just give it up and maybe in the next years trying to be on top again.
USDT ain't the solution for it. It is just the same value as USD so it will also be dragged by the decrease of value.
