2941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: April 20, 2023, 03:47:05 PM

I know most people will favor certain Sport, because they know more about the players or the teams and information is power, when it comes to betting... but some Sport are 50/50 when it comes to the outcome of the match. (One lucky punch or kick can make a underdog a champion)

Please share your thoughts...  Tongue

The points you mentioned here are part of the reasons that majority of bettors may favour sports especially soccer. To add to that, bettors know the capacity of many football players, the coaches, opponent etc including playing in home soil, all are included in consideration to stake a soccer bet.

And personally, I believe if you are to compare soccer with casino betting, you can say soccer betting is easier to win because of a singular factor which is house edge that is absent in soccer. Casinos are usually designed where it is left to your luck to win against the house but if you do a proper grand research and analysis, you can have a higher chance of winning in soccer bets than casino bets.
2942  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔴 SPORTSBETTING CORNER 🔴 on: April 20, 2023, 11:34:10 AM

For example I want to play and give tips about a double with one game from La Liga and one from Premier League.. many people will miss it out if i post in a specific league.

I understand your point, I guess you want a bettor to be able to see all the predictions you have at once in a thread irrespective of the league and not to start visiting different threads to check them out. I think that is reasonable from your explanation. If you can monitor, follow up and give like above average predictions for your bets, you will have more bettors checking you out but if you are below expectation then you will be sure to go off very fast because every bettor have different prediction sites that they visit.

Regarding the discussion of where this thread belongs, I think the mod will eventually take a decision to that

I think it’s not a good idea. The reason for which I am saying this is that because, if by chance someone looses a big amount of money due to the tips, then for the rest of the life he/she gonna blame you and for your tips. He/she won’t accept the fact that he is the one who is responsible for all this, and will keep on fighting like this.

Op is not the first that will suggest or provide predictions for bettors. There are many of such online and bettors have been losing and winning, they can only choose to stay with one prediction site or the other based on their experience.
2943  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 19, 2023, 03:24:41 PM
Can you make bets on horses that are AI vs making bets on real horses? I see a new gambling project that focuses on horse racing only and I am surprised that those horses are not real live horses, I went deep doing research and it kinda looks like players will be the ones fine-tuning their horses 🐎 for better performance and go ahead to head with other players.

This doesn't sound surprising to me. AI horse rising is like dog race that has been existing . But to make bets on real horses can be virtualized in metaverse where two or more people can bet on that. This reminds me of traditional polo games, a field sport that involves horses played with wooden mallet striking on a hard ball to score the opponent. I won't be surprised if this is existing likewise.
2944  Economy / Economics / Re: Bans on crypto now looks like a joke on: April 19, 2023, 02:21:14 PM
I don't think that crypto ban in china is looking like a joke because it is total in all activities that has any connection with cryptocurrency and if caught is a penalty of a jail time. I remember China had a strict law against cryptocurrency in 2017 including mining and in 2021 it further made a harsh regulation against it. However, citizens are hopeful to see a policy shift from banning crypto trading. Talking about USA, the country has been a libra one. They are trying to shift from ban to more proactive modern technology and ways of handling creation of blockchain technology. Therefore, tightening of the crypto exchanges is more of a priority and that is one reason they have a binance as binance.us. More call for tightening of crypto exchange regulation after the ftx scam.
2945  Economy / Gambling / Re: Limited in every bookmaker on: April 19, 2023, 11:44:08 AM
Maybe he will offer something that is very profitable but the risk to his gambling account is also high when one day it can be banned by any Sportbook.
I'm not really sure if Op really does bad things on every bet in the Sportbook but for sure this is definitely something suspicious ...

What op offers should not be important but to know why his accounts are being limited in casinos because if he has access to another account, same limitation will happen after awhile. I think there are two possible reasons that casinos do limit player's account and that is if you are lucky to keep winning over them (but they don't openly admit to this). Another reason is when the account is flagged for suspicious activities and bypassing the rule in ToS.

2947  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Will there be transition on May 29? on: April 18, 2023, 06:38:10 PM
Yes of course, it will still hold na. Definitely, the law stated that APC presidential candidate won the 2023 general election so on may 29th, a new regim will take over.

Na so you see am say Tinubu win the election abi them force power out from the people. We all sabi say na peter obi win this election so if you want talk about inauguration then you fit talk but forget about say na Tinubu win because no be him win.

2948  Economy / Gambling / Re: LeeBet.io | $100.000 Grand Opening Event | Crypto i-Gaming on: April 18, 2023, 09:16:41 AM

I will quote your message to make anyone can see it.

His message doesn't really represent anything. He only sent a link that is an end to itself and doesn't lead anywhere only the front or cover photo. I think he could make a write up for users to know what this is all about or what he wants. He is rather in a haste if they have not finished the work of which he is posting the cover page. Moreover, he should understand having a newbie account under a casino is not always sellable on the platform because of trust, except he is affiliated with reputable casino or can prove the trust. It is not always proper for a user to do a preliminary search on what a promoter wants. I see this is about igaming platform but you need to do a good PR .
2949  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of crypto casinos with high wagering requirements on: April 17, 2023, 03:34:32 PM

So, next time you're choosing between a bonus or not, remember: it's not just cash. It's the experience, the thrill, and maybe striking it rich. Who knows? You might even learn to navigate the casino seas like a pro

It is the ease of depositing and withdrawing your funds afterwards that matters. As always there are no hitches to deposit in most of the casinos but the conditions begin during the time of withdrawal. So it is better for a gambler to do a review on the withdrawal pattern of casino that they want to bet on. If a casino has clearly stated KYC in their ToS and you don't like that,it is better to avoid it. Worse is a casino stating 5x wager before withdrawal of your money, that is out of it because there is no way you can learn to navigate the casino seas like a pro.  Grin
2950  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone remember trueflip casino? on: April 17, 2023, 01:17:21 PM

They might be a potential client for signature campaign.

Possibly so. On one hand I felt this user is trying to bump this casino here  Grin that is on a joking note.

However, this casino still has some positive reviews from the little I checked through the internet. It has over 2,000 slot games with prompt response. I saw it has some players still reviewing it but I don't know the casino here on the forum.

2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 17, 2023, 10:37:47 AM
Gambling responsibly is a few words but hard to do for gamblers who build dreams in gambling and put their hopes in gambling hoping to get big wins,

We have to look at the cause of people now relying on gambling to take care of families and life. The reason is not far fetched and that is because there is dwindling employment . Time has passed when people only gambled for fun , now the whole purpose is to double what money they have staked with. We know the reality about gambling is that it is advantaged for the house edge and so very often will a gambler lose his stake and continually dashing the hope of break through in gambling. I'm of the view that if we had employment then many people won't build hope in gambling. It is because of unemployment that populated casinos, gambling houses because they have patronage.

Anxiety and Depression

The hope of winning is the anxiety and losses cause depression.
This is a more serious negative effect of gambling because it can lead a loser to take their life.
2952  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity and scale of preference on: April 16, 2023, 06:21:53 PM
I think life is very simple but humans complicate it with endless unimportant pseudo-need-priority like need. And it goes on and on to create more scarcity of resources to satisfy our psuedo-need. Granted there are real needs and wants but they seem far from achievable because of too many economic problems.
But in reality, it is either we get one or the other. It is a trade. A trade - the most urgent need to the least urgent.
In doing so,we are making choices and setting priorities in allocating limited resources to satisfy unlimited wants and needs.
By doing this, we are choosing and establishing priorities in the allocation of finite resources to meet infinite wants and requirements.

The angle of Thomas Hobbes in the lawlessness of human desire is also a key factor not to undermine the usefulness of law in the need and desire of human.
There is the aspect of human wants that I think law has curtail in regards to how people would desire to live their lives and treat other people. Left for human crude nature, some desires and want may be weigh out of board. Some certain cultures may have been sustained if not for abolishment through law.

There is also a place of modernity in the scheme of things to the rise in the human wants. During the medieval period where the economic sustainability of the society was majorly built on trade by barter, I think these wants were suppressed not that they didn't exist.
2953  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How market today o? on: April 16, 2023, 04:30:00 PM
No be today wey Nigerian government don fail her citizens. I believe say since wey all of us see ourselves for naija say dem born us, na so we don see say the government no send so we no go dey still put our hope on dem. The past presidential election confirm everything say the people wey be say na dem dey control dis county dey use dem hand put someone there to continue impoverishing masses. Which way we dey go like this? I no want talk too much.
2954  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 14, 2023, 09:30:26 PM

I have not gotten myself this days. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happens to you?

Nobody feels good when they lose money especially when the amount involve is huge. It is normal that you feel bad and if you happen to be scammed, it is more difficult to get over. In your case, it appears you invested in a ponzi . Always be suspicious when the business you plan to invest in is promising mouth watering benefit than usual. There are different of such kind of business that people are expressing regret. Also when you are investing in cryptocurrency, don't focus on cheap price but go for coins that have been successful over the years like bitcoin.
2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Federal government and banks are threats... on: April 14, 2023, 05:26:58 PM
But i real deals here is the government are afraid of citizens having independent living source.

It is not about government not wanting citizens having independent source of living but they want a means that they can monitor all financial services in the country. Apart from the allegation of money laundry from the onset of bitcoin creation, the government tries hard to limit the use of bitcoin but this is not all countries. Understanding your post, it looks like what happened in Nigeria. For example in Nigeria, the government had to block access to some account linked to the bank because they were means that the youth were funded to hold government to her knees during the #Endsars protest. After that protest the government came up with that ban which has really been criticized but the government has been adamant on that, refusing to allow citizen freely trade on bitcoin.
2956  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: April 14, 2023, 02:16:02 PM

I applaud the progress that will be made by the DEV team at Flush.com because it indirectly proves that Flush is always able to provide the best for its customers.
It looks like Flush will grow and advance in this gambling industry.

The casino is fast becoming a reputable one with the reviews I have seen so far. I think the new DEV team is doing great job and increasing the awareness not only on the forum but on the internet despite being relatively new in the industry, with games spanning more than 2,000 already. I like the front design and the fact it also helps customers who don't have any crypto (bitcoin, dogecoin, Litecoin or Ethereum) in conversion of fiat currency to play.
2957  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: April 14, 2023, 09:34:47 AM

Gambling, oh boy! The excitement, the adrenaline surge, and the... crushing debt? Hold up, that's off-kilter. As the philosopher said, "know thyself," and that's spot on for gambling. If you're a whirlwind of emotions and prone to go all in, gambling might be a no-go. But fear not, compadres! There's a treasure trove of alternatives to satisfy your hunger for thrills without gambling your dough.

In gambling we can only control our emotions when we are not losing yet or if it happens that we are winning our games against the house edge. This is so for majority of the players because money is at the center of it all. Money is the reason for adrenaline push in gambling otherwise gambling will not be in existence even weigh back from the bible days. And what makes it worse is that the level of money involved is contributory to our emotions. If you are betting your last without hope for where next to get a living then the emotional challenge will be so uncontrollable. Even as we preach betting what you can afford to forfeit, it is difficult to stay in that line especially addicts
2958  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your money wisely - another lesson, Techie tries to suicide. on: April 13, 2023, 02:57:06 PM

The investment was not his alone but he collected the money from various sources. He took loans and also was using the pension from his mother. Definitely, he had no plans and no idea what he was doing.

This is another lesson to learn in cryptocurrency investment. I can imagine what he was thinking after losing out in the investment. Reading the story reminded me of Sam Bankman-Fried who through him many investors lost hodlings in ftx but he never tried to take his life  Grin Well on a more serious note we need to learn not to be greedy, investing as we have the capacity won't lead into suicide mission.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 13, 2023, 01:22:26 PM

2. if a slot machine does not hit in 7-10 spins, consider trying a different machine. this can help you avoid getting stuck on a losing streak and losing more money.
3. if you have been playing a slot machine for 50 spins and have not gotten any free spins or big wins, consider switching to a different machine.
this can help you avoid wasting money on a machine that is unlikely to pay out.

I believe all these about changing machine when you are losing in slot game is just to significantly say take a break and come back next time. Slot games like gambling are based on luck so when you are losing don't take it out on the machine but know it that it is not a lucky day. You may lose $200 in a slot game consistently for 5 days and the 6th day you may be lucky to win $3,000 that is just the game. It is not about the machine except if you see something manipulated in the machine.

You can also change the type of slot game you are playing to try your luck, instead of traditional slot game, you can try the microgaming like mega moolah etc
2960  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 13, 2023, 10:39:19 AM
-snip-
They just do not want to pay, is that simple

I wouldn't conclude that too early, the casino wouldn't know a typical crypto player whether they are anti-KYC or not.
With reference to fully crypto oriented centralized casinos, I think as long as they have restrictions and comply with regulations will implement KYC eventually.

But why stating "no KYC for crypto"? And why you gyys tend to justify sportsbooks when they are being unfair?! It's a known fact that most of the sites love to scam you. I do not get these kind of things, really...

At the moment, responses are being fair to both you and the casino based on the reserved right to request

in the ToS. If it was not stated explicitly there on the ToS then manipulation could be going on the minds of people.

Centralized casinos have a way of trying to beat customers to their game. Unfortunately, I think legally such clause of reserved right may over ride
