2941  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-02] No, Facebook’s ‘FaceCoin’ Will Be Nothing Like Bitcoin (Or Even a C on: March 03, 2019, 05:54:32 AM

I would never be surprised if at the end of the day many will realized that the cryptocurrency introduced and utilized by Facebook can be vastly different than those we already have in the market. Mark and his team are of course not on the same level as that the whole cryptocurrency market and they are doing this to make their business get catapulted into the next century using digital currency as the most convenient way to transact business with their platform. Facebook is just taking advantage of the technology already proven to deliver...speculators can be disappointed with this introduction as I am sure this cryptocurrency is not meant to be dealt that way.

2943  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-28]Japan’s Issue Of Money Laundering Linked To Cryptocurrency on: March 02, 2019, 08:19:11 AM

Japan -- the people and its government -- has been a big supporter of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general in the past many years and this country even pioneered in establishing platforms, infrastructures, regulations and things necessary for the market to flourish but the government will never allow illegal activities to be conducted behind this new technology that is why law enforcement has to be done at all levels all the time -- and the whole cryptocurrency industry should be cooperating with the government as cryptocurrency is not really meant for criminals but for all law-abiding citizens.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocurencies are not necessary says Chinese people on: March 02, 2019, 08:15:49 AM
In a report earlier this week, it was gathered that a recent survey conducted in China brought a result of 66% saying there's no need for Bitcoin  and other cryptocurencies. Do you consider this a FUD or it's the actual representation of their thoughts?

This can be a real study however we should understand that people in China are still under the heavy influence of the government and so opinions can be quite questionable. And we have to take into considerations that the study was conducted precisely to just back-up the conviction of the government that they don't need what cryptocurrency can offer because this is decentralized and something that is beyond their own control. There is no real democracy in China and the government and the people are both thriving under this climate well so in my opinion we should once and for all leave things at that and consider this market scratched out of the table (though the underground market is always present in there as the government has no enough resources to track each person living in the country and that counter-technologies can easily be utilized online).
2945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how with 5G be with bitcoin? on: March 02, 2019, 08:08:02 AM
If it is true that 5G will be 100 times faster then 4G networks then we will benefit from that speed and the things we can accomplish with the speed in terms of downloading. It wouldn't take long to download and synchronize the entire blockchain if those speeds would be supported. But I am not sure that it will benefit bitcoin in terms of better adoption just because it becomes so much faster.

I heard there is an ongoing debate about the possible benefits and problems that are associated (or will be associated) with the coming introduction of the 5G technology. Some are questioning its viability and whether we really need this new introduction and some or many can be wondering what can it do for them today and into the future. I am then hoping that soon things will get clearer and at the end of the day the technology can be useful in many ways and that any backlash or negative side-effects can be manageable so we will not be wasting out time and resources here. I am personally for the improving of the speed of all internet connections most especially here in the many third world countries where service providers have specialized more on attractive advertising of their services rather than improving what they are offering.
2946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CBUK] CurveBlock - Real estate dividend token - ICO+FREE AirDrop on: March 02, 2019, 07:58:59 AM
there is any bounty going to happen by CurveBlock ?

I think there is no published bounty program for CurveBlock. I am actually looking for some thread on that here in this forum but can't find any. This can be a good project and since this is dealing with real estate if the people behind this are really serious on what they are doing then there is a good chance this can be a good project and platform for this burgeoning and solid industry. I am hoping that they can somehow manage to have a good bounty program for us here.

2948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Calls Bitcoin A Brilliant Technology, Even Better Than Paper Money on: March 01, 2019, 01:31:06 PM
I wonder if he smoked a joint before making such a statement. If he finds cryptocurrency such a brilliant innovation, then why don't he has it or bought it? He only hold a bit, that was granted his from a friend.

Well, it can be because he does not need one as he is very rich and he is preoccupied with many other big things in life. Not all believers and supporters of Bitcoin are actually holding Bitcoin in the same way that not all Coke drinkers and loyal lovers do own any Coke stocks. Plus I think Elon is just expressing what his own opinion on this matter. So maybe let's leave things at that.
2949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Paints a Rosy Picture on: March 01, 2019, 01:04:34 PM

Though honestly this is quite expected of a man very much connected with the number cryptocurrency exchange, I would still say that perhaps he can have many basis for such a very positively rosy paint of the current situation of the industry. Usually, it is the entrepreneurs who can feel what can be coming and that is why we should also be listening to them though of course we can still be cautious. Personally, I believe that this year things can be better even if not just in prices but in the fact that many helping factors are being laid down this year which can helping the long-term viability of Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency sphere.
2950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy FB Cryptocurrency on Popular Exchanges on: March 01, 2019, 12:55:41 PM
IMHO this will remain only as a payment system, not a cryptocurrency. Even if they issued a stablecoin then it will hardly increase the demand in other cryptos. It seems like Facebook is going to make something like WeChat pay that is used everywhere in China.

I agree it can more like this so we could never expect speculative forces to be kneeling on the altar of Facebook. I am sure that this can be primarily be boosting the Facebook ecosystem as the coin can heavily be utilized in doing business with the many platforms already established by the Facebook conglomerate. This is proving once and for all that soon we can be witnessing more and more big named firms to be part of this movement and the way things are they can be benefited more with this trend as they have more resources to put anything they want and to make sure that there will be option of the things they offer.

2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Spreading Fast In The Automotive Industry on: February 27, 2019, 08:13:52 AM

This can be a big good news for many Bitcoin lovers and enthusiasts. Another feather on the cap of the King of Cryptos and I am hoping this can be spreading to many more car dealership and that customers will be choosing to primarily use Bitcoin to buy their cars. This is one scenario and opportunity where we can showcase the beauty and advantage of Bitcoin. When more and more industries (and business firms for that matter) will be using Bitcoin as one of their preferred way to accept payments, we can stimulate more use of Bitcoin in the real world and not just heavily concentrating on trading in many exchanges. Let's hit the road with Bitcoin now and into the future!
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Religion and politics divide people yet bitcoin unites them on: February 27, 2019, 08:09:13 AM
Bitcoin = Love
People all over the world are flocking into bitcoin regardless of their race, culture, and believes.
Bitcoin is for everyone no matter where you are around the world, no matter the race or skin color.
In fact, the bitcoin is more transparent than any government or company yet more decentralized than both.
Is bitcoin going to be the biggest economy in the future?

Thanks for being very optimistic about Bitcoin. I believe that Bitcoin can be contributing a lot for the society especially in the world of finance and yes this can be doing some good impact for the global economy. However, just like any man-made invention we should not fully rely on only one thing or aspect because the world's problems are so complex and the global economy is not that easy to decipher. In the face of human nature shortcomings, Bitcoin can fall into something which we should be avoided in the first place. Bitcoin still has to surmount the challenge of massive adoption and this is not going to be easy as there can never be a law that can dictate people on what to do and where to go. Certainly, we can never force people to adopt Bitcoin if they don't want to...all of these things here are just voluntary in nature. The speculative fever in 2017 that catapulted Bitcoin into the news and into the consciousness of the many was motivated primarily by "greed" or the possible profits that they (or should I say we) can get and this in itself can be a strength or weakness at the same time. Certainly, it can still be a long, long way before Bitcoin can be a big big force for the global economy and there will always be bumps, humps and challenges along the way.

2958  Economy / Speculation / Re: RIP Bull Market on: February 25, 2019, 06:51:07 AM
What just happened is a big lesson to all of us...this market is quite treacherous and any good gains can easily be wiped out because there will be people who will of course take advantage of the situation to make some profits and this is quite normal in a free market...there is nothing we can do about it. What is certain is the dreamed bull run may not be happening that easily and that it can't be happening soon. People who are experts and professionals on trading are not alarmed about this and can even be making good money out of this...unfortunately am not an expert so am not making money on this recent "big" movement.
2959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: February 25, 2019, 06:46:56 AM
Decentralization is one of the greatest dreams of Satoshi looking at the how the blockchain technology and its immutable distributed ledger has been designed. Well it saddens my heart that the greed of men has led to the abusing of this freedom and liberty that Satoshi wanted us to have in the financial industry. Look at the way people are being scammed and robbed in broad day light just because crypto is embedded in anonymity and decentralization. I think we've all had it to the peak, how about we have some level of regulation with the activities in the crypto industry. Share your thoughts commrades.

I have been saying this all along. There are many advantages of decentralization but decentralization could not contain the bad side of human nature so much so that we had seen people being robbed on the broad daylight digitally and has been the big reason why cryptocurrency has become the scammers' paradise. I am sure millions if not billions of money have had been lost to scams and failed projects in this industry. Decentralization then without constraints can be a bad thing since many will be taking advantage of this for their own benefits and at the big expense of innocent people robbed of their hard-earned money. The whole industry has to be doing something concrete about this problem.
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔴 🔴 It's now possible for everybody to be Satoshi ⭕ ⭕ on: February 24, 2019, 01:09:42 PM

This can actually be a good joke. While the real Satoshi had decided and chosen to remain anonymous for reasons he only could fully explain, there have been many people who are claiming that they are the real ones. By their very action of exposing themselves we can easily see that they are fakes. And now, everybody can be Satoshi meaning that we already know that anybody claiming to be Satoshi is just another joker. That Craig Wright personality is just actually using the situation to create a good name for himself and I guess he is already making some money with it.
