First of all, I think that Manchester United and Chelsea both might make use of a solid striker after the end of the season.

Because Manchester United are still wasting so many goal opportunities even though having enough number of strikers in the team. Ronaldo still seems likely to leave for now and he can do this even if he finds a team for himself in January. Rashford is a decent striker but he wastes many times the number of goals he scores. I don't even see Martial more reliable than him.

As for Chelsea, bringing Aubameyang still hasn't changed anything. They are still having scoring issues now. They scored no more than one goal in each one of their last four league matches. I think it is obvious that they need a better striker immediately. Actually they are close to finishing the Nkunku deal. If it happens then I assume they wouldn't think of going for Osimhen as well.

Lebron James must be pretty angry with the team now. Because the team are still a mess as it is seen clearly from their results so far. They have won only 2 out of 10 games. Lebron is still doing his best and performing strongly despite being 37 years old. But the team are still struggling to get wins just as it was in the previous season.

Westbrook is still here. Lakers should have traded him with a more talented and consistent guard. If Lakers insist on not making the right transfer moves there is no way they are saving themselves out of this mess.

PSG - Bayern Munich is indeed another interesting matchup in this round.

PSG did a really good job against them in their final meet in the Champions League. Maybe they eliminated them thanks to the away goal rule but the result was the most important thing of course. PSG didn't have Messi against Bayern Munich then as well. I have mixed feelings about this matchup again. Now PSG have a really great trio. Messi is injured now maybe but he would return until then I assume. Bayern Munich have lost Lewandowski and haven't brought anyone in his place. But they are still showing a marvelous performance. For now I won't favour any side and I want to see their recent forms right before this matchup first.

As for Lewandowski, he hasn't still proven himself with Barcelona jersey against big teams. He has always had problems on scoring goals against them. Teams like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are good examples for this.

For this reason, I will be curious about his performance against Manchester United as well. There is a long time until then so it is more than enough time for Lewandowski to focus on improving this weakness of him now. Barcelona need him in this kind of matches to be more successful. Of course he isn't the one to blame for their unsuccessful run in the Champions League. But he needs to contribute in some way in big matches too. If he plays strongly against Manchester United this would be a big advantage for Barcelona to reach next stage.

It is claimed that Liverpool's current owners are planning to sign Jude Bellingham before leaving their place to possible new owners of the team in the future. A transfer worth 87 million pounds is speculated for this.

However I've already heard that other big teams planning to join the race are already thinking of an offer around 100 million pounds. In this case, Liverpool will need to increase their bid to attract Bellingham's attention. Besides, maybe Liverpool might already be sold until the transfer window next summer. This would mean that they would be even richer than now and they would be able to make a much bigger offer than the other teams. His contract details is going to be the most important thing for Bellingham of course. Who knows maybe Liverpool will finish this deal.

Napoli just did the expected thing and won their Empoli match with a very dominant game. After a win over Atalanta away, this wasn't a big deal for Napoli at all. They have increased their unbeaten streak to fourteen matches this season. I will be expecting another win over Udinese next time. But the away match against Inter after that one could be really interesting. Napoli haven't had any issues against the other big teams of the league so far. Beating the closest teams to them like Milan and Atalanta in away matches was already a strong signal.

However I still don't want to be prejudiced about this kind of matches. Because I see it like only a big team can make them taste their first loss of the season.

I'm starting to feel like Atletico Madrid are approaching to the end of their time with Simeone now.

Because this is even a more unsuccessful season for the team already now. They have been eliminated in the Champions League and dropped down to the Europa League. As for the La Liga, they are already far away from Barcelona and Real Madrid. They can't stay in the title competition like in the old times. It is unacceptable to see them this much weak despite having a really qualified squad to do much better than this. I just see this like it is because of the management. I strongly believe that they need substantial changes from now on.

I was waiting for a Chelsea win to be honest. Maybe I was too optimistic about this to happen while Arsenal were just destroying their opponents one by one. But I thought that maybe it would be different in another big match this time. I would like to remind you of Arsenal's inadequate effort against Manchester United and their losing by 3-1 away.

This was another away match for them. But Potter was still not able to find a way to stop Arsenal players. Chelsea were really bad at defending today. They didn't find much chance in the attacking line either. Arsenal had one of their comfortable matches. The score shouldn't be misleading because of that. They wasted many chances and this could have been a much worse loss for Chelsea certainly.

I'm looking forward to watching Barcelona's performance here. Maybe it is very disappointing for their fans to witness their teams being eliminated in the Champions League this easy. But they would still wait for a success in the Europa League as well. Barcelona fans really miss to get titles.

In the Europa League, there aren't so many teams that can really eliminate them now. Of course there are challenging opponents such as Arsenal, Manchester United etc.. But if Barcelona manage to show the same performance as in the La Liga then they can be unstoppable anyway. Winning the La Liga and Europa League titles both should be their main targets from now on.

On paper, Manchester City can be seen as the biggest favourite for the Champions League title. In the end, they have a more completed squad at the moment. Haaland's arrival will help them become closer to the title compared to the previous season. But we need to see their performance against the other big favourites as well.

For example, their elimination by Real Madrid last season was really dramatic. It was like they were so close to making it but Real Madrid performed a miracle in the last minutes of the rematch. Guardiola needs to focus on getting his players well-prepared for this kind of matches this time.

Chelsea and Manchester United both are rumoured to be after the signing of Rafael Leao.

There are some rumours like they are both ready to pay around a 105 million-pound transfer fee to sign him. Chelsea have already been after him for a long time. They were after him in the previous transfer window but Milan weren't eager to discuss terms with them. As Manchester United would also make use of a talented attacker they have also joined the race seemingly. He has really impressive statistics so far. His contract ends in less than two years. So Milan should focus on extending his contract before next summer. Otherwise they might be really likely to lose him.

Actually Verstappen hasn't broken all of them yet. 

The most important record is still waiting for being broken by him in the future. I mean the total championship count. Hamilton and Schumacher are sharing the record by 7 titles for now. And Hamilton still has a chance to improve the record until retiring as well. Verstappen is still a very young driver and I believe we will watch him in F1 for a very long time period. I don't think he will be a driver like Raikkonen for example. He actually seemed to be like that after his statement about being ambitious for titles first. But his current performance shows clearly that he would go for breaking the record I mentioned as well.

Considering the years ahead of him it isn't too difficult for him to do it.

To be honest, I thought that Everton would put an end to their bad streak by getting a win against Leicester. In the end, Leicester were another derailed team in the league this season so far. I was afraid of Leicester on one hand because their recent form was better than Everton. Leicester lost to only Manchester City in the recent times and it wasn't even a loss by a big goal difference either.

I tried my luck with a 2-1 Everton win in the EPL pool also but Everton couldn't show a proper performance in this one. Having 2 shots on target in the whole match was really disastrous. Lampard must be feeling really frustrated and he had better be ready for another competition to stay in the league. Because their effort is showing that way for now.

We are watching a quite delightful derby match indeed.

This is like Icardi's day now as he has scored 2 goals already. If Galatasaray win the match Icardi will have the biggest impact for sure. And I already see him as the player of the game now. It looks like he is starting to adapt quickly to the team. Now it will be 3 goals in 5 matches. Galatasaray fans must be hoping for him not to be another Falcao case. If Icardi also has long-term injuries then it would be another big waste of money for them. When it comes to Besiktas they aren't playing too bad under Senol Gunes' management actually but they are in trouble now by being 2-1 behind.

To be honest, I think Firmino should be kept in the team despite his age. He is actually 31 years old now which is not too old in my opinion. Apart from that, his performance so far has been more impressive than Nunez. As long as this goes on like this Firmino can be an important part of the starting eleven.

It's like he is improving his performance more as seasons go on. This level is already better than the one in the previous season as I indicated before. Liverpool shouldn't lose their productive players otherwise this would weaken them more in performance.
