What tools do you use for creating your pictures and animations?

Probably due to bugs in boost_1_56_0 i can't compile Quark v0.8.3 wallet nor Bitcoin v0.9.2.1 wallet with that version of boost.

from:
  boost_1_56_0/interprocess/errors.hpp:37:0
  boost_1_56_0/interprocess/exceptions.hpp:20,
  boost_1_56_0/interprocess/file_lock.hpp:20,
  init.cpp:36,

problem is here:
  boost_1_56_0/interprocess/detail/win32_api.hpp:1614:20
  boost_1_56_0/interprocess/detail/win32_api.hpp:1541:31

  return FunctionAdresses[id] ;

Is there some configuration solution?

The latest windows versions were built with boost 1.55. There might be something in 1.56 that broke compatibility.

Probably, I tried to test compiling with fresh, 2 days old, boost v1.56.

Thanks.

2965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would some Regulation in the Altcoin space be welcome? on: August 09, 2014, 01:18:10 PM

SelfRegulation is in the bottom line of the price defence of the massive coins selfdestruction.

0

Nothing.

Zero.

Null.

2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's all about Freedom on: August 09, 2014, 01:11:55 PM

From one of the endless similar topic. Smiley

Governments don't like anything that they don't have control over and cryptocurrencies are totally opposite of that . So with time there may be wider adoption of crypto but banks are gonna stay as such.

You are naive if you don't think every coins, or almost every coins are controlled by few biggest owner of particular coin.

No freedom when money talks, or when coins talk.

2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making an alt coin on: August 09, 2014, 12:52:45 PM
After making 1000 coins there is one much better idea.

To make 10000 coins. Smiley

One zero of difference is nothing.

In Ponzi scheme only the top is not dependant.

Or it is?

I don't know exactly.

The top is independant if it sold coins to the lower but much "optimistic", oops, naive levels of the scheme.

Nice question in the title. Smiley

No chance.

Coino coini lupus. Smiley or something like that.

Hi coinerer, can we see a source code for your wallet ?

Nothing new, I used source code from Max github   https://github.com/MaxGuevara/quark

I am using newest available dependancy libraries, adjusting my scripts and compiling Windows wallet only.

For example, latest version of openssl-1.0.1i, qrencode-3.4.4 and now it follows boost_1_56_0.

Only compiling existing official Quark wallet. I don't know why official wallet is not updated.

Coinmama, tell Max to try to check newest dependancy libraries.

Let's analyze state with Quarks,

at the week of Nov 18, it was bought  32 mil. Quarks, price risen
at the week of Nov 25, it was bought 110 mil. Quarks, price risen to the top

After, it followed "fair" distribution to the community. I read everybody, community, is satisfied with the fair distribution. Topped fair distribution.

So, how many Quarks will be used or remained so that "fair" distribution would become "unfair" distribution again? Bottomed unfair distribution.

And how big volume do you expect at the bottom? Where do you expect the bottom?

Guys, I think we should do nothing, but analyze the state of Quarks. Waiting for double bottom is the best strategy for recovering the price. Also, good projects for making some Quarks use value are welcome.

We have half year, one year, maybe more time to rest and analyze all.  Wink  Not selling at the bottom too.

indeed - you will notice someone is selling here ha ha. who knows whats around the corner ?

I will buy at the bottom, where elsewhere? Smiley I have no better idea this time. Smiley

2977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto innovations - The Communist Bloc & Rainbow Return - Bounty coming! on: August 09, 2014, 02:17:57 AM

I thought randomness inside time interval [0,10], [10,20], ...   not randomness of volume, amount of donated coins. Is there some solution for true time random blocks coded in other coins  (not hardcoded for block numbers including % operator)?

Nicer and nicer. I will make monument to myself. Smiley

I don't have habit to make such stupid things I made with Quarks.

Tell me, except marketing what is so good at x11, x13 coins we should copy to Quark?

2980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto innovations - The Communist Bloc & Rainbow Return - Bounty coming! on: August 08, 2014, 03:33:53 AM

It seems idea is Oligarch Bloc, not Communist Bloc Smiley Bloc will go to the oligarch.

Maybe it should be called Post Communism Bloc, or Early Capitalist Bloc.

Whole process should be titled as Reverse or Inverse Revolution Smiley or Anti Robin Hood Battle(s) Smiley Of course without stealing coins because of the free will for donations.
