10% premined = Falling with head !

I see you are involved with Mintcoin somehow as I saw your thread - you are in the Mint community.

Mint was:
Quote
1% premine for bounties
and supply 70 billions ....
1% from 70 billions is 700millions ...

And it was OK for you?

Dec/Jan/Feb

Price rise at night, fall during the day.

Currently,
Price fall at night, rise during the day.

China's influence is vastly deminished..?

May I ask what is a day in your opinion? Smiley

Because Bitcoin is all over the world and for someone day can be not in a same time when someone else enjoy the night time ATM.

Smiley

But well ... perhaps indeed like it was mentioned before many depends on USA markets and China markets.
Not only.

I saw a rally starting during "night" and "day"   Smiley

If you want to learn something take the time to read this entire thread from the first post.  You will find it very educational.

I was reading this thread from post 1... maybe I missed one of the pages? Can you track me on the right direction? Instead of being sarcastic?
Smiley
2969  Economy / Services / Re: I was hacked (1170btc stolen) - 500btc max BOUNTY on: July 16, 2014, 11:42:32 PM
at the moment only 368BTC remain unmixed Sad

This is very sad that things like that are just that simple ...

I hope he left some nice clues somewhere else instead of tracking coins ...

currently biggest amounts @

https://blockchain.info/pl/address/197VbaCPmJLHE6HWWHvqMJhK2HGwAshBVW
Those coins you are tracking are his old coins.  The coins he gave to the mixer when he got change from them.  It is like you are tracking the $100 bill in my example above.  He moved on a long time ago once he got his change from the mixer (totally unrelated BTC).  Why are you tracking the original BTC?  Are you just curious as to how mixers work?  Wondering about the other clients of the mixer?  I am curious.

Sorry if I am doing something wrong but all I did was tracking biggest transaction from a thief address till this is what is at the end at the moment... I though that those coins are related as those transactions begins from thief address and a tree of transactions is clearly showing that those are branches. But I might doing something not right indeed. ..

I am very bad at tracking anyone Smiley I am just trying to warn people to keep an eye on those addresses.
But if you say those are not related at all ...
For me they are as llike I told before ...

Regards.

1170 BTC wow .. thats like over $600k

Wheres the main Address again ?

Well ... perhaps it is worth to read at least OP of the thread before asking about something what is in the OP Smiley

Regards.

Dear HEADHUNTERS,

43% of any btc I will be able to get back IF you find the identity of the thief!

If the whole amount will be returned to me (1170BTC) that would be 500BTC.

2971  Other / Off-topic / Re: Websites which accept Bitcoins on: July 16, 2014, 10:24:53 PM
Hello,

I am looking for websites that accept bitcoins. Directly I'm looking for sites that contain lists of websites which accept bitcoins.

Example of such website is: https://spendbitcoins.com/places but that website isn't well, because there are many sites that don't have any connection with bitcoins.

I am a private investor and I want to invest in some good companies. I want to spend my bitcoins buying online.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade

This is very good list. And you can join there (put yourself on a list) for free (I think).

2973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island on: July 16, 2014, 09:56:57 PM
Rather than creating an island nation solely for the purpose of using bitcoins we could focus all that effort and money into making the whole world using bitcoins.

All of what effort? A few dozen people focusing on a project?

Should we shut down all small bitcoin projects and focus on making the whole world use bitcoins?

If bitcoin island is a "small" project i don't even want to think what the well that was constructed via doge4water was.

The well constructed via doge4water is kinda not the same as Bitcoin Island will be indeed Smiley
And it isn't a small project you are right. Well.. doge4wated wasn't a small project too but building a well for ~$20k (1 well) is pretty not the same with Bitcoin Island indeed Smiley

Both projects are awesome anyway!

Computer security for average bitcoin user is dark magic :/ thats sad but true

Computer security for average computer user is dark magic.
    And that's sad but true..

50% of us (perhaps) are somehow IT related. Developers, hobbyists, teachers, etc.

But the thing is... people are not thinking reasonably in many cases ...

For example... if we want to keep Bitcoin in a safe wallet we choose the one that community say is good... isn't? Not the one advertised by a member with 8 posts Cheesy ... (or maybe if that one is recommended by well known bitcoiners too.. Smiley )
    ...
Well .. there are plenty of mistakes that Bitcoiner can do to get compromised by some hacker...

examples of what NOT TO DO / mistakes !:
    • 1.keep passwords @ e-mail box ...
    • 2.keep passwords in a plain txt file ...
    • 3.keep passwords anywhere online ...
    • 4.Using not secured unknown online services
    • 5.Using same password while using uknown online services (same password like for example a password to my wallet).
    • 5a Cheesy : Using same passwords on few services... USE DIFFERENT PASSWORDS!
    • 6.Installing unknown software ... example: "Oh! A Speed booster! .. My PC will work 1928% times faster! FOR FREE?!?!? WHAT A GREAT SOFTWARE! I am downloading... (after a while..) hmm seems not working ... uninstall".
    • 7.Installing unknown software via torrents ... (while using torrents for downloading any kind of a software (even freeware ones) you must be very, very careful ...
    • 8.Keeping BITCOIN WALLET NOT ENCRYPTED!!! (Huge mistake)
    • 9.Keeping unencrypted *.dat (wallet backups) files ANYWHERE.
    • 10.Not having Anti Virus + Anti Malweare...
    • 11.Not haing a firewall (minimum x2)
    • 12.Using VERY simple passwords:

Examples of very BAD passwords/pass phrases: abc123, abc123123abc, ABc123, myNickName2014..., "There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold" (YES! This is BAD passphrase! Even when very long ...)

Examples of GOOD passwords/pass phrase: as_xswre73..,z(232kekx()__sdoIYTD76:;::_  ,  "i banana go plane right on 1827 when using monkey on a dashboard and recharging cat with apple wine full mud"

    • 13. Doing things faster than thinking!!!! - THINK! Bitcoin have a value.. Think about it like about your old material wallet. KEEP IT SAFE...
    • 14 ...

    And many others.

So be aware and think while using your coins! Smiley

    Regards![/list]

I must say! I was very wrong when I came here at first!

Xapo seems a very good thing - it might became a best from any online wallets I knew ...
    I clearly forgot about :
    http://www.coindesk.com/xapo-20-million-ultra-secure-bitcoin-storage/

I believe for $20m+ and with great idea you can build something what is a really good product.

    Answering the OP question:
    Quote
California-based bitcoin security company Xapo has raised $20m as part of an initial round of fundraising led by Benchmark, Fortress Investment Group and Ribbit Capital.

2980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin halving next week. Inflation cut by 50%. on: July 16, 2014, 04:29:38 PM
I think what Dogecoin needs is more adoption to actually buy things with it. Devs should also think about getting the coin accepted by more retailers together with adding new features.
I think that the biggest problem of Dogecoin is a supply . Which is definitely too big.
If there would be 60M things with the value would be different.

But ... at least now have a lot of Dogecoin millionaires Wink
