2966  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why you shouldn't use martingale on: April 20, 2014, 12:55:53 AM
See as long as there is a max profit you cant beat the house.  its not only edge that effects you, is the Max limit, the amount of money you have to bet.  if the investment  is 31,000 you will need a max cap of 1 million to beat the house.  Since Dice sites have limites I dont bet is only good to do small bets

What if I told you that you can't beat the house even if you had no maxbet restriction?

I make a BID:

200'000 BTC @ $1.00

So yeah, it will never flashcrash to this price!

50.0% - 1 in 2
51.6% - 1 in 6.3
53.2% - 1 in 44
54.8% - 1 in 700
70.0% - < 1 in a trillion

I havent read everything is this thread, but this figures have nothing to do with your bet. These numbers represent the chance of picking 70% right if you bet random at 1000 games in one season.

Hardly your situation is it??
2970  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why you shouldn't use martingale on: April 19, 2014, 11:34:39 PM
Well, I guess if you gamble with >100 BTC you know that there is the risk of losing it all, right?

Then I don't feel so bad, also she had 100 BTC to begin with, can't be that poor!
2971  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinbet.cc -- $340,000 stolen, the worst 45 days of my life. [Long] on: April 19, 2014, 11:31:46 PM
Reading the OP makes me sick.

Having lost funds in ultimate bet, absolute poker, ftp (got that back) and some other sites, I feel for you on this one. It is so sick making everything right and still getting fucked over in a major way Sad

haha OLD ECONONY MOVEMENT OEM

I kinda new, that this would turn out this way Wink I thought the collected funds were used for the developement. But now everyone needs 50 more stakes? If they really go for 5 BTC that is 250 BTC per person. Really? Most people need to work 2-3 years for 125000$

Oh really?! whats with your NAS?

Yeah but never in history claimed NAS to be fairly distributed and said this was one of their key features. Also it isn't my NAS...

Im out for today. No need to reply to this.
