I'm still waiting for the in-depth analysis how they where beeing hacked before even considering investing in scamcoin Finexcoin. Finex is bankrupt...they try the hard way to save it but if they can make a restart then the users will be scammend again, it might also bring evil plans to other exchanges

What the hell... Finex is bankrupt and now they want a ''Cyprus'' style haircut for all there users That must be a easy fix isn't it? Passing the bill to there users to save there own skin. A lot of people wanted to avoid this kind of corruption, and now it arrives in Bitcoinland. Monkey see monkey do, so others will see how this ''hack'' heist occurs and bail them out = easy money! Why no press conference? i only see a freaking smokescreen on both sides. I just dont believe it they have been hacked, by-passing privatekeys and 2-3 multi-sigs...yhea right!

Hedge Fund Expert: Bitfinex Hack Shouldn’t Deter Big Investors. he would not recommend bitcoin to his institutional clients simply because “we don’t see the interest there yet.” However, he also said that the interest “will come” in the future. Regardless of when institutional players will start seriously investing in bitcoin, whether it be 6 to 9 months or longer, both experts agree that bitcoin was not to blame for the hack at Bitfinex. Factors that will influence institutional investing in bitcoin are based on fundamental factors such as the demand to hold bitcoin as an uncorrelated asset in portfolios https://news.bitcoin.com/bitfinex-hack-bitcoin-investors/

Yes, it's a DCB. To complete the correction, one more leg down, of lower amplitude, is required.
Weard, when i zoom out it looks like a very healthy correction but i wonder if this Finex hack was needed to get there. This is not the first time when the price model acts like the ''traditional'' way when shit hits the fan.

Wasn't the Winklevoss ETF supposed to be approved by 2014? Then again by 2015? Now by the end of 2016? I keep hearing the same thing every year... what's different this time?
Also, didn't the Winklevoss release their ETF called Gemini? Or is that just an exchange? I'm so confused because I've been hearing about the same ETF for the last 2 years and nothing changes
Winkelvoss ETF was never approved during 2014, 2015 otherwise it woud alrdy be here..you're overeacting a little bit. You need to pay for lawyers, regulaters, filling paperwork to SEC etc, that cost a ton of money and time. Bitcoin is a brand new asset class with a lot of potential, it is not easy to make a framework. All party's needs to be happy, if the first farmework does not fit the requirements than a new one will be planned and that will take a new chunk of money and time. There are more ETF's going on than the Winkelvoss but the 2 brothers are going for BATS exchange. Imo that fits Bitcoin better than NASDAQ. Have patience friend, Bitcoin ETF's will come.

Bitcoin ETF approval within 5 months. A new exchange traded fund designed to track the price of Bitcoin may be on its way to market. New paperwork has been filed with the SEC for the new ETF, titled Solid Bitcoin Trust, according to reports from ETF.com.
SolidX Partners Inc. says the Bitcoin within the ETF will be insured in case of theft, destruction or computer fraud, with the Bank of New York Mellon acting as custodian.
The new fund requires a rule change filing with SEC by the carrying exchange, due to Bitcoin’s status as a new asset type. The fund will kick off with an initial offering value at around $1 million.
Approval is pending based on the approval of the rule change filing; a precedent has since been set by the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF, which the infamous brothers filed for on June 30. It’s anticipated that fund will receive approval by the end of 2016, with the SolidX ETF receiving approval by early 2017. http://www.wealthprofessional.ca/news/etfs/new-bitcoin-etf-on-its-way-to-market-211198.aspx

To be honest I do not think that you are going to be a millionaire with only 10 Bitcoin, you will need allot more if you are serious about becoming a millionaire with Bitcoin. It is also going to depend on what the price is going to be in the future so many things need to come in play for you to know if you will become a millionaire.
That's not possible, because bitcoin won't grow that high to make an user millionaire. Now the price often getting steep variation, but this price won't continue after years. After years due to the increased user profile bitcoin price will be around certain limit which won't make users millionaire by 2030.
Never saw this pic? The 4th is not realistic but the other one's do. 21mil coins for 7b people do youre maths!

coinbase is looking a little ragged these days what with gdax usability issues and them losing utility in a few countries. they need some extra vc millions to throw away to look nice and shiny again.
Fixed Bitcoin exchange Coinbase said on Thursday it received a $10.5 million investment from Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU), the bank's Mitsubishi UFJ Capital unit and Sozo Ventures as part of a strategic partnership involving its long-term expansion http://www.reuters.com/article/us-bitcoin-coinbase-bank-of-tm-ufj-idUSKCN0ZN27DAnyway, tomorrow is halving day!

No, look at the confirmed data sources. Long term is down as people realize the mining analysis is clearly negative toward the data and technical analysis data studies. It's pretty clear, and if you don't want to lose money, sell your bitcoins now.
Bla bla bla bla bla!

sent 0.5 btc (about € 300,-) this morning. 4 confirmations in 40 minutes. fee was 17 cents. yesterday a same sized transaction went through for 8 cents. imho, paying less than 0.1% fee feels not expensive at all. just wait till lighting makes it so your fee is less then half a cent and your TX confirms within 5 seconds @ -09:07 Roger Ver thinks it takes at least another year, and likely many years, before LN is ready on mainnet. http://www.alexfortin.com/rogerver/Roger likes bigger blocks not LN, he overreacts with ''many years''. Bitcoin cannot please everyone, hate it ore love it the LN ore Thunder is comming within 1 year.
