Dear FAILers,
We now have the new wallets and all is looking good! We are going to take 2 days off and we will start working in Monday again. Today I am going to talk with EmpoEx and warn them about the swap.

Spartak_1, you'll likely end up saving people some $$$ / grief here. Cheers!
I've had personal interest in their offer and it cost me nothing to share what I've found. People here must share their experience in order to make cryptocurrencies market a better place. Cheers!

As soon as possible? How long is your soon? I gonna be one of the first few to download the new wallet! Great looking wallet you have there! Is the developer a designer too? Hey Jack, If you look at the date of the transactions in the wallet, we kinda kept our ETA for 12th February, but the dev wanted to make some extra tests. They are now finished and I think that we will have the new wallet today, but we will release it for the public in probably 2-3 days at the most (don't want to give ETA's though everything can happen and sometimes people are getting frustrated). After that our first goals will be multipool, bigger exchanges and more adoption. Little by little we are going to work to secure our network too. The most important things in Bitcoin are the adoption and that the coin was first. We are never going to be near BTC, but we are going to follow it's course in some way. Cheers, Spartak

While it would certainly be nice to have the option, I think that the webwallet would be much more convenient for the average user since they will have access to their wallet from any device connected to the internet, versus that one computer. A lot of people I've talked with dislike have to store the entire blockchain on their computer and worry about having to keep everything synced, the webwallet solves this problem and appeals to new users for this reason.
Agreed, but what happens if the web wallet is offline for some reason? I think that it is also disadvantage to count on others about your personal security. I would prefer having the wallet and count to myself. And like you said.. it will be nice to have that option, but idk if it's hard to implement it.

I believe it will be better adopted with QT wallets (i.e. many people prefer them).
|
|
|
Do you mean a QT wallet instead of the web wallet?
Yes.

drak,
Is there any way for XCH to have simple wallet like most of the other coins?

I personally dont find it fishy at all. They are offering to sell someone elses products, nothing wrong with that. Too bad that project was cancelled and they havent removed it from their website which could potentially take money from others illegally.
I posted this thread in Hardware section first. One of my posts there is this one: Agreed with you Steve. They are indeed electronics store as claimed, but the shady thing here is that many companies funded with millions failed to produce and/or deliver ASICs with those specifications and price. For example, Blessinghash are selling 300MH Zeusminer for $1,119, which is $480 cheaper than Zeusminer's price. You also pointed to some devices with shady specifications. You can also see some opinions from other people. With that said - everybody has the right to have their own opinion. Mine is that I will never contact them. @OP: Have you cleared the situation with them? Did you ask them why isn't their company where it was supposed to be?
Well.. my indonesian friend said: "Don't buy!" and this is enough for me, but it seems that giveen is more familiar with them.

They were trying to act as a reseller.
As a business, if you buy computer parts, and then sell those parts to customers for a marked up price, you are a reseller.
I know what reseller means.. in my real life I am computer engineer for about 18 years now. I didn't said that they are scammers, but I think that there are a lot of fishy things in their offers.

Dear FAILers, This will be our first wallet: We will launch FAIL asap, because we want to start building our community and network. Fancy features and such will be discussed in future. Regards, Spartak

They arent a scam, but they do need to update their website.
They were trying to sell the ZeusMiner Volcano which is a cancelled project.
Why do you think they arent a scam? Because they are electronic store as they claimed or you have something other in mind?

It's the Mining (Altcoins) section. The Pools things is a sub-section of the Mining (Altcoins) section Yeah.. I already saw that. Thanks for pointing it out. Still don't think that my post is off-topic though.

Most of the ICO's are run by few people who have long history of dead coins behind them. I am not all against ICO's though. Some people have pretty good skills, but they don't have money. Future will tell if this is another scam, but currently I must admit that things are not looking good at all.

Hello guys, I am researching scrypt ASICs market for more than 1.5 years and recently decided to buy some new ASICs. I started to look for interesting offers and I found company (by receiving PM from user named rualpema... he probably saw that post) called Blessinghash. They have pretty good offer by selling 20 x 330MH ASICs for $18,127. Luckily, I am part of FAILCoin's takeover and FAILCoin have community managers from all over the world (including Indonesia where this company is located). In the past month I have found some friends from that country and I can say that they are extremely good and humble people! I asked one of them if he can visit Blessinghash and see if they are legit. He agreed, but he said that he will need 1-2 days, because the company is located 3 hours trip from his home (isn't he a good guy?!). About 1 hour ago he send me this: There is a simple computer store/service at the address where Blessinghash is supposed to be located. My friend from Indonesia was ashamed that people from his country are shady in this case, and he asked me not to be too harsh when revealing them so I won't say that this is a scam. Will only ask you to decide for yourself! Regards, Spartak

I personally bought roughly about 7% (some from the ICO, more @ 240+ satoshi) of the entire currency. Those coins will be kept in a strong hand for better times, but there is a very good possibility for Omega to die. P.S. No fud... it's reallity.
