2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: July 01, 2021, 05:29:38 PM
It doesn't make sense to invest in icos for now. It can be evaluated in the bull season, but it is necessary to do good research, new projects are added to the market every day. It is not easy to get good projects as well as it used to be. You need to draw or stake, or different sales methods are applied to get it. You said bythnext, this project was pre-sold on bscs, for this you would need to stake bscs.

You need to extend your time analyzing the project, it's not easy  to pick from those many new tokens that being created.

More on self assessment and observation, if you feel the potentials after doing your research then it's  a good sign to continue investing
with the project, but if you are still hesitance to take part taking your time to think more careful before making your decision, there's always a risk you can lesser that by doing your home work.
2962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 01, 2021, 05:07:33 PM

My prediction would be:

Suns vs Hawks - 4-1
Suns vs Bucks - 4-2

So either team, it's a win-win situation for them, either team. And with Chris Paul playing like what he has shown in closing the Clippers, he might not only gets his first NBA ring, he might be the finals MVP too.

For the Bucks vs Hawks game, I'm seeing the Bucks winning and covering the spread.

He's showing that before he'll going to retire his number winning an NBA title would be the best thing to bring.

He already have the WCF it's long been delayed, I remember him with the Clippers, coincidence that he win it in front of the fans
who love him first! Another series for the world title very interesting against either  Bucks or Hawks.
2963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2021, 03:39:40 PM
You can't be terrified of what's going on with bitcoin if you don't have any notion of what's going on. People who have no knowledge of how or what bitcoin is would find themselves in a difficult scenario if they invest in it. One of the fundamentals that you should focus on is knowledge.

I've found that some people aren't investing in bitcoin because they don't understand how it works, despite the fact that there are platforms that may help people learn more about it.

They are not interested in taking or sparing some of their time to learn more about this venue of investment.

We can't force them though as they have their own opinion about this  industry and the fact that most of negative news about this investment are those that's mostly shows up in the internet, without focusing or taking deeper understanding negative publicity really throw them away from this market.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: July 01, 2021, 02:41:26 PM

Both bet and gamble use money. The difference is the word itself, but have both have the same means.

So responsible gambler will be a gambler who can take care of himself while playing gambling, and he always reminds him that he doesn't need to play for a long time. He can quit gambling anytime he wants without having a wanting to win more. But many gamblers already lose much money in gambling because they can't become responsible gamblers. That is a lesson for us.

Not easy as what how we say it, being responsible takes a lots considerations,

Many gamblers failed to this criteria and become addicted especially those who got engaged and been attached too much, you have

to work within you and try to limit yourself, money management and emotionless playing, it will lessen chances of losing a lot and
it will save you time and money.
2965  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: July 01, 2021, 10:47:21 AM
I don't know if a smaller guy without big muscles can win against a big guy with big muscles, because this tournament I think with big muscles and having a bigger physique will certainly be easy to win. But, if the little guy can really beat the big guy, then I guess it's not about his strength but about the technique he has in delivering the right slap.

Techniques and how his face endure the pain, in the eyes of viewers big guy always have the advantage.

I don't know if there's something special with that small guy if he can win and continue playing against other big opponents
all in all it's tough to choose if that body built is really an advantage to win or there's a possibilities of rigging this fight and
let the smaller one to win.. Tongue
2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 30, 2021, 06:37:23 PM

We don't want ourselves to fall into the trap, that is why it is very important to have a market analysis before taking action as it was a helping tool to make decisions.
Analyze the situation and weight everything up, all those influence that affects the movement needs to verified if it's valid reason

or just some sort of artificial that created by those whales around.
The market is so tricky, we need to be careful and cautious in every decision we've made because a lot of people got tricked by just a few drops. They are taking the opportunity but without a simple search, they are only investing coins that are nearly to die, and the drops continue with less possibility that it will recover.

It's your money that you are working with, remember that everything that will happened inside this venue of investment is all your
responsibilities, the direction of success always leaning to how you decide your goals.
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Airdrops and Bounties worth the work? on: June 30, 2021, 06:17:33 PM
Do you know how much time it takes to complete an airdrop tasks? It takes only 2-4 minutes. And I participate in small number of airdrops. Overall it doesn't take much time for me. Airdrop has no connection with job, you can do it during your free times. Though airdrop tokens aren't worth always, but occasionally few airdrop project gets big success. And those projects can give you a nice crypto gain.

The problem sometimes is that a lot of these airdrop coins never get listed on any decent exchange. I still participate from time to time in airdrops but try to pick the right one to avoid that I would waste my time.

Sorting it up gives you decent chance to participate with potential project, those who have  good team behind,

developers who really aiming for the success of the project, unlike most bounty offers which mainly trying to attract potential investors
to scam out and runaway with their money, avoiding to take your part and promoting those scammers, be very furious when choosing
your aridrops/bounty participation.
2968  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: June 30, 2021, 05:42:12 PM
No. It's not that I'm bearish, but ATH isn't something common. It's like a rare event that happens once every few years, and honestly, it wouldn't even be a milestone if it was achieved for what, every year or so? We just reached a new ATH this year and I would reckon that it would take at least more than 1 1/2 years for it to stabilize. Heck, even now, the market is still unsure on whether to actually stay here or go down due to the different factors that made it go bullish at the start of the year.

Though I won't be completely writing off the possibility of an ATH this year, the chances are extremely unlikely imo.

I agree for the most, but ATHs do come in a period within of each other. I remember Bitcoin breaking 1.3k ATH then it went down, then 2k, 4k, then down a few times, then 10k was hard. After that a final stretch full of ATH to 20k then that was it.

We have not had more than a few new ATHs in a stretch so I would feel we are still due a few more:)

Very possible to see more, with how the market repeating itself it's best to keep your assets safe.

And if you do have more money to spare buy at this range and wait for the market to pump up before selling your coins, there's a good potential that the market will show for more bull after this correction, last quarter of this year may bring good market valuation as cycle
will turn between bear and bull.
2969  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: June 30, 2021, 05:17:28 PM
The term 'the rich get richer and the poor get poorer' is always heard in everyday life. However, it turns out that behind it all there is a fundamental difference in managing finances between the rich and the poor. The difference between the rich and the poor is in utilizing their income. the poor often use their income to style first.
That something which managing of their assets play most, for rich people they are more hungrier to find ways to bring more to their table, while for those poor people they are just happy for what they've got and live as it is.

Meanwhile, for the middle class, a small portion of their income goes to expenses and most of them are liabilities. What is meant by obligation is to pay installments for cars, motorbikes, cellphones and new bags.
For middle class they are happy this kind of lifestyle, having what they've like and enjoy some luxury while continue surviving their everyday life.

Meanwhile, for the rich, part of their income is for expenses and most of them are for assets. Even the expenditure on assets tends to be greater than the expenditure.

Like what I've said, rich people are more into finding different ways to multiply their money, they are more on finding different ventures to earn more from what they've currently have.
2970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 29, 2021, 12:56:19 PM
I wouldn’t get too excited. Paul George may have turned in one of the best Clippers post season performances ever, but I don’t think you can expect 2 more games of that. It has made things a lot more interesting in the series though as Chris Paul must be having 3-1 flashbacks. I think yo-yo can expect the Suns to bounce back strong in the next game since they won’t be wanting to take this to 7.

Let's see what will happen in game 6, if the Clippers had proven they can win on the road, they sure could win again at home. PG is playing with so much confidence, all the Clippers need is to have a good start so they'll not gas out in the end. How would the Suns respond to the Clippers rotation in game 5?

That's a good question, how Suns will respond with this kind of game Clippers have,

More tight defense for PG and Jackson not to allow them to build that confidence and shot that well with high percentage.
Like what you just said, if Clippers manage to win on the road, the chance in winning at home is more possible they just
need to continue adjusting each time Suns threaten them, they need to play consistently from start to finish.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: June 29, 2021, 07:22:38 AM
I have a question here. What if the individual falsely claims that he is fully vaccinated? Here in India, we had a few cases where air travelers submitted fake RT-PCR test results to claim that they are COVID negative (although their tests had returned positive results). So is it that difficult to create fake documents to show that the individual is vaccinated? I know that the system in the United States is much better than what we have in India. But still, loopholes will always be there, which will be exploited by criminal minded people.

Very possible, there are people who are ready taking  that kind of risk,

Knowing that even the government have rules about this kind of case. They are still willing to break it if chance permits them, placing more people in danger as this virus can easily spread. No doubts that US have better ways but criminal minds or people who are desperate can still go ahead and do this willingly.
2972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 29, 2021, 06:36:08 AM
Well... in this last game we saw, Clippers can be a dangerous and strong team without Kawi Leonard... 14/15 free throws, PG was on fire, DCousins only played 10~11 minutes and scored 15 points.

I don't know, but I'm seeing it happen again like it did in 2016 finals, Cavs vs GSW "3-1 come back".

wow, imagine if Clippers can get a game 7 and can win this WCF!!?  Roll Eyes Shocked

Definitely anything can happen!  Cool Cheesy

Anything is possible indeed, just like what happened to them last bubble, they are up 3-1 and lose it from the Nuggets.

Clippers manage to extend the series for winning this game, with another monstrous game from PG and Jackson, this two shoulder everything in the last few minutes of the game, those crucial 3 points from Jackson prevent the rally of Suns, and with how PG really take everything.

he's lucky that his percentage is really high, he needs to keep it that way and try winning another game at home to force this series to game 7 do or die game.
2973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Michael saylor and his bags on: June 29, 2021, 06:23:57 AM
You are saying that from a trading point of view. Entry point matters in the short term but not in the long term.
As you said Michael Saylor must be buying for a long term and hence he is buying every dip.
This might be a good strategy as long as we have enough money to buy the dip. But at the same time we have to look how much funds are left.
We can't put all our money at a single dip and then wait for the market to dump further.
But yeah, we don't have to worry about the price if we are in it for long. It's always a good time to buy bitcoin.
Well that is one of the advantages Saylor has as an institutional investor that we do not have, our funds are limited so even if we want to buy every single dip we are not going to have enough money to do so.

But when it comes to Saylor the only thing he needs to do is to ask for low interest loans from banks or other investors and get the money to buy the dip, this is why his stash is growing more and more each quarter and he has become one of the biggest holders of bitcoin around the world even if he is buying bitcoin for a price of double digits while the other whales got here when bitcoin was worth barely anything.

Exactly! he can use those loans and earned money without even moving his savings,

a good luxury by a very known person, that kind of advantage that we don't have a simple / small time investors,  no argument but
in terms of taking loans those rich people always have the advantage, applying that to crypto they also have the luxury to hold more
and continue to buy each time dump is ongoing, keeping more assets and have that big edge once the market start to move on their favor.
2974  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: June 29, 2021, 05:58:01 AM
The crypto space is really very broad and connected with lots of activities to earn money online, all you just need do is find a suitable way of earning from crypto and be consistent with it surely money will be made, like you said you weren't good in trading which causes anxiety to your body system and it's a good one you quit early, so i think you can try up staking, it's actually a good one tho the reward isn't that much depending on the amount staked. Bounty hunting is also a good one.
everyone has different abilities. for those who can analyze the market well, definitely say that trading is the best way. Those who like to write will definitely say that being a product reviewer is an effective way to earn money from crypto. see? any way if it is according to the ability and pleasure of each then it will be a fun way.
Earning money from the internet is a great way to adapt to technological developments.

According to your capabilities  and how you treat and love what you found online,

There are many available ways but not all is for everyone, skills and dedications plays well as finding what suits for you is tough at the

start, along the way it's your own will that will keep you surviving and you'll find out that you already build good system that allows you to established your own ways to earn money.
2975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make your HODL or dump decisions? on: June 28, 2021, 01:15:09 PM
I've learned my lesson in the past. Sometimes holding your bag for too long results to losses. I've tried to hold cpins when they were up 10x and didn't sell and regreted my decision. At some point you will have to sell and realize profit or it is pointless. Take note you can always buy the dip. Profit is profit.

I have made similar mistakes, probably every trader and investor has left profits on the table. The problem is if we sell too early then we might miss out on another rally, or we sell too late and the prices are already falling again. It is very hard to find the exact timing of the best selling point. That is why I always try to hold some coins. If I need money then only a few coins, I am trying to hold atleast 33% as long term investor.

And that same level of regret when you failed to wait with the big pump, we have are different experiences.

Those who works with short term trading are people who needs to keeps on reading the market charts, they need to follow the asset that
they start to support knowing that in any moment the pump will give them decent amount of profits. While in the other side those who aimed for long term always put thir target and forget about the asset not to be bothered by any market cycles.
2976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cake Coin good for Passive Income? on: June 28, 2021, 01:01:50 PM
Cake tokens has been gaining popularity just like other Defi projects and that has contributed to the market value increasing, but I'm personally not very comfortable using the tokens for passive income as it requires investing a substantial amount of cake and with the news we hear about hacks on Defi platforms, I'm not comfortable with the investment.

You have your point, and surely those who are investing with this kind of passive income also consider those possibilities.

As we go along the way this market keeps on challenging your skills finding the right information to continue following this asset and make sure that you have that understanding to chase your opportunities.

good passive income really needs bigger amount of investment, you are the one who holds full responsibilities to whatever outcome that may happened with your invested money.
2977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 28, 2021, 02:50:22 AM
Blazers are set to announce their new head-coach[1] early next week, but we have some very interesting (not so much if you are a Blazers fan) news coming out of Chris Haynes:

source: https://twitter.com/ChrisBHaynes/status/1409249662351994881
Quote
The backlash from Portland Trail Blazers’ coaching search and his concerns over whether a championship contender can be built have become major factors that could force Damian Lillard to request out, league sources tell @YahooSports.

If you haven't followed the story, Lillard is taking heat from some Blazers fans on social media, because of the hire of Chauncey Billups[1], there have been rape allegations dating back from the late 90s against Billups. Lillard is saying he didn't know, nor that he was consulted when picking the new coach.  This is still a developing story, but don't get surprised if Dame indeed asks for a trade, anything that comes out of Haynes, Shams and Woj is 100%.
That's new to me. I had no idea that Chauncey was accused of sexual harassment before. Was it even out in the news before or they kept it?
Trail Blazers management could always just pick another coach if they still want sales of their tickets with Dame as the face of their franchise. I think he deserves a better coaching staff and there are so many options out there. Chauncey could stay as an assistant working his way to the hearts of the Portland team if they will hire him for that position.

Not familiar with issue too but I see that idea is good they can hire him as assistant before taking the big step.

Blazers management needs to work it out with the fans, it will have a big impact to their business if something happened along the way especially with their main man, Lilard already established his name as franchise player and if he move out it would hard for the team to bring that same intensity.
2978  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent residence in El Salvador for crypto entrepreneurs on: June 28, 2021, 02:23:16 AM

El Salvador must b a good place to live for a bitcoiner.

Like any country, your cost of living varies to where in the country you live in. If in the major cities, you may find it higher because prices of basic needs are higher especially if you rent a house. Living somewhere outside the cities would be cheaper but comes with risk. Be reminded that it's Central America already and things are true with what you see on TV. I'm not from El Salvador but because base on my experience it's how they are.
I agree to that, most of the time those who are residing inside the city do have more expensive living.

While for those who are outside they have some lesser amount since developments are very likely much poorer than those from the city.

Liking the idea of El Salvador's offer they are possible to enjoy their crypto while being adopted/migrant to this country. If you have enough crypto to show up then you are most welcome to live their.
2979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: June 28, 2021, 02:07:24 AM
last month BNB seemed convinced that it would rise to the price of $1k but due to the bitcoin crash all coins couldn't continue to rise, all altcoins depended on the bitcoin price trend. maybe at this time we see that all cannot continue their journey to the price that was achieved but in a few years or months when bitcoin is back in an uptrend, everything will come back again. only buy when the price is cheap at this time, we don't know in the future the market will how this could be the cheapest price we can see on BNB.

If the market was stable in the last one month or so, we could have easily seen Bnb to 1000$ due to the hype of binance NFT marketplace. Since the bitcoin is somewhat bearish or uncertain at the momnet, the launch of NFT marketplace had no impact on bnb price. I wished if they should have postponed this launch to some better time.

It's been scheduled and it's good enough for those who awaits for this feature.

BNB will move upwards just the same as before, for now due to the heavy pressures of bearish momentum investors somehow are pausing for a little while, and afterwards, when pump starts comes up and the market is green again BNB will soon attracts investors and create a huge run..
2980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 27, 2021, 04:43:10 AM

It was indeed a good and tight low scoring game.
I'm surprised Booker really stepped up as he's a bit struggling to find his rhythm while heavily guarded by Beverly. But that defense wasn't enough and still Booker scored 25 points.
We all know without Leonard the Clippers would struggle. Though they still have a chance to comeback from a 3-1 deficit, but I have a little faith they'll make it.
The Clippers needs to find a way how to win in 3 consecutive games, and that's never going to be easy.

With CP3 moving the ball and letting Booker to do his job Suns managed to win the game.

Even with that questionable blocking/offensive foul of Booker, very crucial and the ref are really trying to help Clippers to win, but coaches strategy played well, that fouling whoever holding the ball and not to allow Clippers to rotate and set an attempt for 3 point shot. Very intelligent decision. CP3 in that last few seconds really take charge making sure that they'll going to escape this game with a win.
