They need klay to be at his best to be able to compete in the west.
I think this is the most important thing we should see, because we know that Klay came from injury and was lay off for 2 seasons, so it's important to know if he can still be Klay that can lead the team like Stephen Curry for the success of the Warriors. We are hype too much with his return and yet we didn't see yet if he is 100% already.
2962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin suitable to become legal tender? on: September 24, 2021, 11:59:24 PM
Yes it's suitable, legal tender just means that it's recognized by the legal system for paying your transactions and bitcoin has been used for that so I really don't see how bitcoin's not suitable to have the title of legal tender, it gives the public the option on how to pay for their transactions.
Adopting bitcoin as a legal tender will never bring negative impact, its even more on positive side because the citizens will definitely have the full freedom to use bitcoin in as much as they want. And since the world is alreaday in its digital age, the currency should also go along with it. This does not mean that we will eliminate the fiat completely but it will be a step by step process. Maybe if all the individuals can already cope up with the changes in currency adoption and start to adjust, then bitcoin will definitely be a good currency. Its even better because it has no inflation in it but only deflation instead.
2963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to the bitcoin price if adoption increased on a larger scale? on: September 24, 2021, 11:40:52 PM
I think that the answer is quite simple. If Bitcoin adoption reached a huge level, then the price would be affected by this very positively also. Because when the adoption rate increases very highly, people will start demanding Bitcoin much more than ever before. And this will reflect on the price directly. Because the more the demand, the bigger the price is.
Yes. It's just as simple as that. Once the demand will increase, its supply will be lessen, but its value will definitely go along with how high the demand is. And this is what happening to bitcoin now. There are already several countries now where bitcoin is being used as a reserved currency to fiat. And just like El Salvador, bitcoin is already being used as a legal tender, but still people are free to decide if they want to receive fiat or bitcoin as a payment. Bitcoin will be expecting to grow its value from time to time because there will be new additional countries for sure that will be adopting bitcoin soon.
2964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOL is already $144, can still buy it? on: September 24, 2021, 07:51:04 PM
Theoretically for me there is always a good chance to get in if I'm up for it, SOL has delivered great growth over the past few years. With the appearance of SOL in this field I am seeing the diversity of this field, although it has increased a lot compared to before, but I am sure it will still be the first choice of everyone because existing ecosystem as well as the value that we are seeing it bring.
I know Solana will be worth more in the future so whatever its price today, it will always be a good buying moment for Solana. There is a big community that supports it already so if there will be new investors who will come in the market, Solana will gradually increase its value. I guess it all applies in different coins in the crypto market. The more people who will come to buy it either for long term or short term investments, then it will always have its huge demand which is a good indicator that its price will never lose its value.
2965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: September 24, 2021, 07:22:26 PM
I would like to know if there is some method on how to understand when the market is going to dip or when the market is going to pump.
Getting know about when the market is going to rise or fall is not that much easier for anyone as it is highly unpredictable for all of us. But people keep trying for that in the name of analysis and experience. When you keep on watching market movements then you may get some idea on how to predict market direction but nothing will be hundred percent assured one because market may react for the any news which might be happening at any time at anywhere hence you cannot predict market direction as we cannot what news is going to impact the market.

I'm not here to discourage you but I'm just stating the facts about trading. You may go for learning technical analysis which is the only available to for all the traders to know about market direction but technical analysis cannot get you any clear idea which is 100% true.
What you said are true. There is no clearer way on how to understand the market in advance because its purely unpredictable. Even how profitable you are in trading, you cannot still predict the market with 100% accuracy because if we all do, the whole community will be trading for sure and there will be lot of millionaires i guess. But price changes from time to time because the market is easily affected by some fuds or any news from social media. Although technical and fundamental analysis may help, but you can't expect that they will be 100% reliable.
2966  Economy / Economics / Re: Future economic fear of the rich and poor. on: September 23, 2021, 09:58:19 PM
Well indeed. The rich have the fear of losing everything but not every rich person has it.
If they have the knowledge of getting to where they currently belong then it's not hard for them to do them again if they go broke unless the thing they used to do isn't an option.

There is always new stuff that can help them.
But what's interesting is the poor have to rely on the ways that are available in the mainstream, at least most of them but the rich will have connections that will help them.

I also think that rich people who are used to living happily, because everything is fulfilled, will surely be frightened if they lose everything. Therefore they
will do anything to be able to maintain their wealth. If in the future the economy worsens I think the rich will panic more than the poor. Because poor
people are used to living hard, maybe the poor are better able to adapt to a deteriorating economy in the future. Unless like you say the rich has
knowledge and connections, it will really help them to get back their wealth if they go bankrupt. Actually every human being has the ability to survive
in any situation, so in the end it depends on how everyone thinks how to deal with the economy in the future.

It will be frightening for both rich and poor. But i can see there will be more struggles for the poor because even if they are used in living so hard, then it will be a lot harder in the next years. There will be more pains to gain. So the survival will be very hard for them.

However, for the rich ones, of course they still have the fears inside but i know it will be more manageable by them because they have a lot of resources to depend on. Even if we'll say that they might encounter losses in the future, i know they will be able to survive from it because they are more knowledgeable and even more resourceful.
2967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difficulty of explaining Bitcoin to people is massive on: September 23, 2021, 09:42:43 PM

how curious is the person who ask the question?

if he just want to know how it works, you can just say BTC is just like a currency. you can buy things with it which we now consider a digital currency.  if it doesn't end there, the person is interested to learn but he will with just analogies you can comeup.

If the person is really interested, he will further search on his own. There are tons of knowledge regarding bitcoin and crypto over the internet. Explaining to someone is really a tedious job because he may not get the full idea of it. Even me, when I was starting, I had so many questions and you can't get it at one sitting. It will be years in the making to understand these things and up until now, with new networks, we are still understanding how they work. So if you encounter a person who has too many questions, you can only answer what you can but the rest, he needs to dig over the internet and learn on his own.
Yes. It's better to give them just a bird's eye view on what is bitcoin and how it works. I know they won't really get it immediately so to make further understanding, they should have their own research to satisfy their minds.  And it's a way more better for them because they can study all the videos and demonstrations about bitcoin, trace its history and how it become more functional by now. In that way, i will never have a hard time teaching them because the online itself is already good enough.
2968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 22, 2021, 09:55:11 PM

Klay on the other hand was a prolific defender, everyone talks about how great his shooting was but dude was a prolific defender and one of the reasons why GSW was so good while Curry had defensive problems, because Klay could cover that defensive position. That means if he comes back and doesn't have the same defense, with everyone a bit older, are they still as great as they were?

Klay has to be the same when he comes back, he really improved as a defender and we all see that, it's hard to tell, for now, we don't know if Klay is not anymore fragile because the last time he was out was only because of an injury he suffered during their practice game, and the who season was compromised and yet Warriors are still competitive that time.
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 20, 2021, 09:50:39 PM
I can't even believe that Rigo thinks he won the fight. He was just running and throw some punches that has no intention to hurt Casimero, so two judgest favored Casimero to win as he is the champion and he is willing to give the fans a good fight while Rigo acting like Mayweather who is good at running.
This is the basic way of fighting here on sports of boxing which you do need to hit but wont tend to be get hit and this is where he do really fixed up his own style of boxing which is totally the same
on what Mayweather is been doing. Some do just accept that its a style but we arent really here for that but rather we do love to see those belt-to-belt type of boxing which there's no involved
some running and very defensive kind of act into those boxers.Wont be surprised if interest on Rigo wont really be that much lasting long.
In boxing, your main goal is to win and that's what boxers are doing, however, since boxing is entertainment, as a boxer, you also need to ask yourself this question, "Am I entertaining", if the answer is no, then probably you need to change your style so you will get big fights and earn more money.

Professional boxer is entirely different from real competition like Olympics, here, you fight and entertain the crowd, you have a good recipe to earn a lot of money, which is the reason why fighters are here.

Eventually, boxing sports will turn out to be all about the money, not only promoters are looking for fights that will generate a lot of money, now, the boxers are also ensuring that they will get big fights although some of them may not be too competitive anymore, wherever the money is, they follow, that seems to be the principle of the boxers now.
2970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 20, 2021, 09:12:14 PM

Regarding KP, yes, it's a chemistry problem, and he lose his aggressiveness inside, I don't know what happen but because he has the skills to shoot outside, he seemed to forget to use his height to dominate the paint and score inside. We thought KP would be the next Dirk, but at the point of his career now, I think it will not happen.

He mostly takes his offense outside and forgets about the speed and height advantage that he got. Either he's more careful now due to many injuries or he's mindset is more focus on taking outside than to make a much higher percentage shots in terms of easy dunks of easy layup shots.

I see that it's still manageable since they already played together for a whole season. The adjustment will be on the coaching staff now.

Kidd needs to build good chemistry between players. Luka understands and able he's capable of adjusting both offense and defense. Role players are in need to follow that example from Luka, to jive everything inside the court.

He signed a huge contract with the Dallas Mavericks that will expire in 2024 according here.
https://www.spotrac.com/nba/dallas-mavericks/kristaps-porzingis-17832/

Quote
Kristaps Porzingis signed a 5 year / $158,253,000 contract with the Dallas Mavericks, including $158,253,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $31,650,600. In 2021-22, Porzingis will earn a base salary of $31,650,600, while carrying a cap hit of $31,650,600 and a dead cap value of $31,650,600.

It's a huge contract so it's normal that the fans will expect a good performance from him, not only for the Mavericks to be in the playoffs, but to start winning again. Luka is the superstar of the team, no doubt about that, therefore KP has to support him and win together.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 20, 2021, 08:27:58 PM

We saw the chemistry, everyone is playing according to their rule and it's good that Greg has no one to compete within the team as there are no other bigs that are better than him. It's his time to showcase his real talent, but I'm afraid that if big teams see the NP being successful, Greg might be traded again as they want to take another opportunity to win a championship.

After what happened with Romeo and Pringle duo, I agree that if big company sees the value of Greg, offers will flow.

It's a rumor that NP is a farm team of SMC, so it's not hard for SMB to pick him up,
what if they paired him with JMF twin towers who know how to play ball with shooters like Romeo and Lassiter and good point guard as Ross,

this is just a what if and most of the time they really make things happen when they propose something.

That's probably redundant of position and I don't think their salary cap could still afford to sign Greg to their team. SMC has a lot of teams in the NBA, they also have Magnolia I guess, so maybe getting Greg to sign in this team would be awesome since Reavis is old and not anymore playing like he used to.
2972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIB the new tough competitor to DOGE on: September 20, 2021, 07:42:20 PM
In my opinion, if we look at this coin, it looks like a hype coin, like a meme coin and is not very influential and doesn't even have a community.  But even though this coin doesn't use its own blockchain yet.
But all coin prices cannot be guessed, maybe one day even this coin will be excellent, even very good at investing, although not for the long term.
Yes, SHIB may be profitable for now because its being hyped but just like dogecoin, it won't stay up for long. I would say that all these meme coins stuff started when Elon Musk starts supporting dogecoin and when he stops tweeting about it, the price gradually fall. So there's no big advantage if you start investing them and then when bear season starts to hit the market, their value eventually fall, and worst they might end up into shitcoins. I would rather stick to bitcoin and ethereum, and some potential altcoins, so i won't end up being miserable and lose all my capital.
2973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 20, 2021, 01:25:36 PM
I've heard that Casimero is looking for some additional trainers on his team. But he wants a younger one.

Well in fact that the old timers are better trainers because they have a lot to share because of their experiences.

He can add young trainers but his head trainer should be the one that who is with him all the time, the old trainer knows about him already, his strength and weaknesses and based on what Casimero has achieved now, I can say that they are both successful together, they have a good tandem in short.
I agree.

But it seems that he's looking for a new one, I don't know if there's a replacement or what but that's just I know about it with his search of the trainer.

If he chooses one, I also think that an older one is better.

Maybe Casimero was disappointed with what happened in his last fight, there was no adjustment, Casimero almost loses the fight because Rigo was so quick and Casimero can't hit him with a clean punch. They should prepare for that kind of style because although Inoue is not known for running, but he can always use his quickness to score and beat Casimero in 12 rounds.

We can't blame the coaches or trainers for the last fight since actually casimero is already dissapointed and disperate at that point that's why he's game style has been broken, for sure they have tactics to win but rigondeaux is a movy fighter that's why instead of giving his opponent a brutal punches it ends up a chasing game.
I can't even believe that Rigo thinks he won the fight. He was just running and throw some punches that has no intention to hurt Casimero, so two judgest favored Casimero to win as he is the champion and he is willing to give the fans a good fight while Rigo acting like Mayweather who is good at running.
2974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 20, 2021, 12:50:57 PM
Greg got a boost and as well as coach Pido for winning their game against ROS. Well, the last game was really controversial when coach Pido decided to let Greg out with just a 2 second remaining. That time remaining was longer than it can ever be.
Many still can't be moved on with that match but with this win that they've just took forgotten that mistake and certain win but was stolen by the last-second minute pass and play.
Greg was furious about why he was taken out, they could have won that game if he was inside. This time, they proven that coach Pido's decision was wrong because he had a game-winning block in this game and not only that, he also registered good stats making him the best player in the game.

Greg has proven himself to be one of the most valuable players in the PBA, he is playing very well to tell the Kings that they made a decision trading him to Northport, I hope Greg is loving where he is now as he is making a big impact to the team and suddenly, Northport has become an interesting team to watch. I guess today they'll have a break, no scheduled games today per https://pba.ph/.

Monster Gregzilla! Northport bounce back after an issue that results in their loss recently. Greg since the start of the conference doesn't show any signs that he is not comfortable with his team. He found the chemistry right away compare to Standhardinger in Ginebra.

But his monster performance should always be backed up by his teammates. Having a big man in the league is important and Northport is one of the team that has it. They need to utilized other player to support Greg.

It could be the 2nd block of Greg if he was not pulled out in their game against the Magnolia Hotspots, but lesson learned, I'm sure coach Pido will not pull him out anymore and will let him play until the game is over. The fans now appreciate how valuable Greg is, with Northport, his talent is very obvious compared to playing with the Ginebra which he does not have a good statistics, that's why he got traded.

Many fans got dissapointed on that substitution since he can change the game by his pressence inside the court but unfortunately their coach pull him out thats why we see an unfortunate result to them. Fans know how valuable he is inside the paint  the only thing he needs is to be utilize and get more minutes so that he can produce more quality performance in the game.

Some fans even speculate that the game was fixed because Northport is a farm team for SMC teams, lol.

Anyway, it's already over, coach Pido and Greg already corrected their mistake by winning a crucial game and Greg was the hero in that game. Hopefully, they will continue to win so this Northport will have a great conference with the help of Greg Slaughter.

So just to kill the fan, I see that Raffy Reavis is already aging and Magnolia hotshot may need a 7ft center. Getting my point guys? Ahahaha Grin are we just saying some drama now, just like how Romeo trash talk coach Pido during the live game resulting him being traded to TNT? seems that Greg is showing stats that SMB corps eyes unable to resist.

We know the value of money and without a pride Greg might be receiving offers behind the scenes.

Just kidding guys, but I see him improve a lot. The training that he takes last year might give him more confidence, see him moving a lot and creating space for himself makes him a valuable asset for Northport. Just keep him and Bolick then surround them with more role players, they got now a competitive squad.

I also thought of that, he did not play for a while I guess, and took his training abroad. Here in Northport, he looks like he is the main man, the JMF of SMB and their chemistry is building really well, so hopefully, the greedy team owners will not take him away, Northport will be a championship contender with him.
2976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will Paraguay be the next to make Bitcoin ‘official currency’ on: September 19, 2021, 10:43:51 PM
what has been done by the country of El Salvador by adopting bitcoin as a legal transaction tool in their country is a revival for bitcoin, this time it's the turn of the country of Paraguay who wants to follow in the footsteps of the country of El Salvador to adopt bitcoin nationally in countries located on the Latin American continent If this is really realized.it is not impossible that bitcoin will return to the way it was before, because at this time bitcoin really needs recognition from sovereign countries for the process of bitcoin's survival in the future
Bitcoin is making huge developments this time making it as a legal tender in El Salvador. And here's Paraguay which will be the second nation to prose bill making bitcoin as a legal tender. Carlitos Rejala, a big supporter of bitcoin, said that the bill will help position the country to trail the path of growth for the next generation. And since Paraguay has a lot of cheap renewable energy so there is no doubt that it can really become a crypto hub.

With the positive treatments that bitcoin has been receiving now, it will create more possibilities that more countries are going to take advantage of it as a currency, more than just as an investment.

2978  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation soaring in US and other countries gives good prospect to bitcoin on: September 19, 2021, 02:38:06 PM
I was aware that after all the money printing and giveaways during the COVID was just delaying the payment of the crisis ´till a moment in which the economy could possibly take better care of it. However, it was certain that the true cost of the crisis was not being paid. But here is the bill: Soaring inflation, happily accepted by governments in Europe and mainly in US: 5% YoY in August.

This is bad news for most, however it is good news for bitcoin that benefits from inflation and loose financial policies. Keep hodling!
This is for those who are still looking for the need to invest in Bitcoin. Is very bad that some people never know the importance of investing their money in assets like this. Times like this will always prove it to them that they are meant to be investing their money and not just keep on holding only Fiat. I have had a lot of experience like this, and that’s why I don’t really miss my chances of investing my money. I have been investing in Bitcoin for a very long time now, and apart from Bitcoin I have started to spread out into other types of investments and it has really helped me in times like this when fiat is losing its value.
Hyperinflation is no good at all as it will leave fiat continue to depreciate in value. And when it happens, the whole citizens in a single country will definitely be affected. Even if you are the wealthiest person, i know it will still be alarming to you. So how much more with those middle class?

Bitcoin is probably the perfect solution for this. You will never be experiencing the high inflation anymore if you start investing in bitcoin and even use it as a currency. That is why if an individual wants to escape from high rate of inflation, he is most likely to invest in bitcoin and when he is making profits, if he convert it to fiat, the value will be a lot huge. Totally different if you focus investing in fiat.
2979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you cope with the stress of trading? on: September 19, 2021, 02:08:45 PM
Almost everyone has been in a stressful position because of trading, especially after making a mistake that caused a loss. I think it's a natural thing experienced by traders but it all depends on us how we can get out of the zone so that we don't fall into the same mistakes and emotions. I personally prefer to leave the market and anything related to trading for a few days before starting again calmly. it is very difficult indeed but it must be done to avoid bad things happen.
Good thing some traders manage to control the stress but for some too, its very hard to avoid it. But one thing i can assure, stress will come and go normally. But it will also be a good idea if you can take some measures so you won't end up totally in loss.

I actually go out of town for some days so i won't have to deal with stress anymore. Its like having your me time so you can unwind and think of possibilities that can divert your interest. And once you're ready again to trade, come back and start being productive again.

2980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins as collectables in the future on: September 19, 2021, 01:38:05 PM
I think that there is no meaning in keeping these already-dead coins in our wallet. I wonder if there is a way to get rid of them forever. Because I have some in my a few wallets also. And I wonder why people insist on sending these useless coins to everyone. As the name implies, they are useless. I can't sell them or trade them for another cryptocurrency.
Shitcoins are just as good as trash coins. Their value are already dead so they should not be given priority anymore because it will only be a waste of time and money. How would a good investor normally think that they will be more valuable in the future? It might happen only when there is a good community who is going to support it. Even its own developers i think have abandoned them already.

Although OP's idea is somewhat encouraging but normal investors will definitely not agree on it. New potential coins will probably arise in the next 10 or 20 years.
