2961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 27, 2018, 11:38:02 AM
Remember its not only Kawhi who left, Manu retired, Tony Parker moved out so there's a lot of going on with the team. Of course they need to be consistent which at this point they lack and just like what you said, they need to work as a team and it looks like they have some new plays in order to accommodate DeRozan style as well. So its too early to call and usually these kind of high profile trade takes time for us to see if the team really benefited or not.
Spurs is pretty much a new team already, they are not with Manu, Tony Parker, and Tim Duncan anymore and even without Kawhi now. With new players on the roster and even if some of them are good the chemistry wouldn't be there and it may take some time for Gregg Popovich on figuring out how this team will blend well with one another. And Popovich has proven it over time that the team will get better once they get to know each other, like what he said the season is still pretty young and they can have more experience with it.
2962  Economy / Economics / Re: Insuring the crypto assets. Is it possible? on: November 26, 2018, 07:29:36 PM
Are you talking about some kind of mutual fund? Or anything related to someone investing in your behalf? Then I am afraid to tell you that these are just scams waiting to happen. There is no such thing as a legit service like that and the ones who are offering right now are more than likely a scam waiting to happen. You should know that the only way you can invest in cryptocurrency right now is either directly buying its ICO or trading in a crypto exchange because other than that is just a fraud from a criminal.
2963  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Periodic Table of Cryptocurrencies on: November 26, 2018, 05:46:47 PM
You cannot really make cryptocurrencies as elements in the period table, for one the lack of information will be a lot. The year which it is founded and type of cryptocurrency is not enough. Don't get me wrong this looks entertaining for a lot of people but I doubt it can be used for anything useful with regards to investing, not unless that periodic table is interactive where if you click a certain block you will be redirected to more information about that cryptocurrency. They should even at least put the current prices since this was created by a website called "Investinblockchain". Who knows some brilliant mind might actually work the idea.
2964  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned help on: November 26, 2018, 03:49:47 PM
I don't do anything wrong please help me with my problem
See the problem here is you don't even know what you have done wrong. You didn't even know that plagiarism is prohibited in this forum. The funny thing here is you also have admitted that you have an alt account here in the forum, posting about your existing account with your second account is really not the brightest thing to do. You really deserved the ban and from now on posting with this account will be considered ban evasion.
2965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To-do list in a bear market on: November 26, 2018, 03:13:48 PM
This to do list will really depend on your current situation (what your portfolio looks like) in the market. If you have a green portfolio you have two choices buy more or think about shorting BTC. But if you have a bleeding portfolio I think the best thing you can do is wait because you can't really do anything else besides that. What matters is you have a plan in this situation as even if the prices are dropping it signifies as a opportunity for all of us. Even if you have a red portfolio you can always add more BTC, that's if you still believe in it.
2966  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN reach 15k$ by December 2018!!! on: November 25, 2018, 04:11:39 PM
If you are hodling in a loss then the best thing you can do now is hope that some miracle will happen by the end of the year. But if you are looking at the numbers you are expecting BTC to have at least 200% of price increase in just a little over a month which is probable but with the market conditions we are in let us be realistic. Like what I said earlier there is no harm in hoping because that is all what we want to achieve and that is selling Bitcoin at a gain. I too is hoping that someday BTC will once touch it's ATH and that possibility is not yet over for me.
2967  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: recours mtgox on: November 24, 2018, 05:29:31 PM
So it looks like the trustee has extended the deadline for rehabilitation claims. Guess OP wasn't the only one too late to file documentations. Wonder if he got any responses back.

New date is Boxing Day 26th Dec 2018. Wouldn't wait til Christmas though. Also, new date isn't a guarantee, but a date that trustee will "will make efforts to request the court to accept".

Original pdf announcement made yesterday: https://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20181122_announcement_en.pdf
I don't think that OP is one of the ones who can be considered in the extentsion:

However, if filings are delayed for reasons not attributable to creditors, proofs of
rehabilitation claims filed after the deadline (i.e., October 22, 2018) may be acceptable.
Since OP didn't even try to submit his claim to Mt. Gox and he is considered to be the delay of his own claim he is not counted to the extension. But I don't think there is no harm in trying since there is still a lot of chaos going with this claims being delayed, he might even go unnoticed with this one.
2968  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-22] Zaif Exchange Handover Complete as Previous Owner Vows to Dissolve on: November 22, 2018, 08:20:27 PM
They will need to undergo a major rebranding after the transition happens, Zaif exchange already has a very bad reputation when it was hacked. The company maybe just have been bought in order to retain the key operations of a crypto exchange but I doubt they will keep the name, they might change it later on after they realize that the bad reputation is affecting their business.  But I am surprised that Japan has allowed the sale to happen since they are strict on what exchanges operate in their country or did I miss something and they will still have some sort of new screening to undergo too?
2969  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF chief is in support of crypto. Keep holding on: November 22, 2018, 07:07:42 PM
Finally a good news showing a big support of an international body, honestly I didn't see this news not until now even thought this was created last two weeks ago. This shows that the IMF head is not close minded when it comes to industry and is aware of the current situation we are having. This is just the start what I want to see more is the plans followed by this news, right now she is just showing open mindedness on crypto but it doesn't mean they are centered on some regulation with it.
2970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Phillipines adopting BITCOIN on: November 22, 2018, 05:30:49 PM
I believe that even if our beloved country, Philippines is running at a slow pace in regards to economic growth, most of the people in our generation are already tech savvy and are curious and interested about ways on how they can conveniently transact smoothly using BTC as mode of payment and as an investment as well. Mass adaption will take place in our country within the next few years, it is very exciting.
That is what setting up a future looks like, there is really no instant growth behind and the Philippines is looking for the opportunities the cryptocurrency industry have. If you look at them you will see that Cagayan Economic Zone Authority already taken up a 100 million $ investment which will be allocated for two years, even without any instant cashflow going to our country this is a step closer for economical growth. Aside from it other ICO projects also see the Philippines as a new market for hungry investors so we might see another market growing in our country.
2971  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a crypto newcomer , where should I start? on: November 22, 2018, 04:40:20 PM
My friend introduce crypto to me last month, and my friend also told me about this forum. then I bought 2 BCH few days ago, because I saw my friend also bought BCH. now there are 2 coins in my wallet called BCHSV. My friend told me that this is also BCH,but I still don't understand it.
Your friend is correct, you received a forked coin which you have received from BCH forking. Now for your main concern about your investment, I believe there is nothing you can as of right now but to wait because as of the moment as it is already started dropping, you will not do anything good if you start selling your BCH as a loss. Just be patient and hold it, now you being a newcomer to the crypto industry you should try to read and search what you are curious about as you can learn while waiting for your BCH to rise back up again.
2972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we wait for a big drop in BTC? on: November 22, 2018, 01:33:33 PM
At list by now you should no that bitcoin has dropped significant and it is currently below $4500. I think it is heading toward $4000 and that is the deep enough.  Now is not a good time for the holders especially those that buy bitcoin above $10,000 early this year.  In fact I have a friend that bought bitcoin around $16000 last year and he still holding.
It just touched the 4,00$ level in some exchanges what we are seeing now is a bounce to the 4,400$-4,500$ level let see if BTC can now sustain this level like what it did when it was around the 6,000$ level area. Yes this is not a good time for them but we really can't assume that all of them suffered losses, they might even have shorted BTC a lot of times already on its way down. The ones who are suffering internally are the ones who are holding BTC at a loss which I assume is more than half of the new investors who have entered the market.
2973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to buy cryptocurrency for 10.000USD today.... on: November 22, 2018, 12:14:41 PM
Well, obviously Bitcoin(BTC). I don't even know what IOTA is being used for; I'm pretty sure IOTA is still purely speculation.

Iota is using a new technique. It is called DAG, so u dont even need to save the whole Blockchain.
Also Iota has 0 transaction fees so it is no need to have miners, it is more ecological.
I don't know if you are looking for a debate or is just looking for an opinion to which coin is better for you but it seems like you made your choice already with what you have written. If you personally think that IOTA will outgrow Bitcoin in terms of price increase then you should go for it, mjglqw just expressed on what he will choose on both of them.

0.05 BTC to 55 BTC  Shocked Thats not too bad. What kind of tactic was he playing Shocked or was it just one big YOLO?
I don't know but he couldn't possibly won that with one bet, Isildur already explained that the player's max winning for one bet is 10 BTC. So this might be a series of bets on what he did and maybe he played it safe until his winnings got reasonable. But in order to answer your question I think landoncoles is the better man to answer your question.
2975  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-21] Bitcoin Price Rises From $4,050 to $4,560 Amid Extreme Volatility on: November 21, 2018, 08:57:43 PM
We had a little breather from that but it doesn't mean that the price of BTC has stopped dropping. We need to recall that we thought Bitcoin was safe around the 5,900$- 6,000$ level which has stayed there for awhile before it finally broke down to where we are now. This price increase is considerable but it doesn't mean that we are out of the woods yet, I'll be worry free once I see Bitcoin have a stable rally going back up rather than seeing Bitcoin having this kinds of short price pumps.
2976  Other / Meta / Re: Eventually became Sr. Member. Thanks to forum. on: November 21, 2018, 08:11:55 PM
Coolcryptovator just proved to us that even if you are not creating and analyzing data or even creating highly technical posts you can still earn merits on other ways on contributing to the forum. It's ok if your English grammar is not that good as you could eventually make it better in time.  What you can do to improve your English writing is to habitually read articles and try to understand everything including the proper placement of punctuation marks.
2977  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption on: November 21, 2018, 06:44:29 PM
How would government collect taxes from crypto gains then? Also, if something like ETH becomes big, how is the government gonna stop people from making pyramids, ponzis, and scams in general?
Even if you are not holding actual fiat anymore you are still paying taxes, how do you think businesses that accept credit/debit card payments and Paypal transfer are paying their taxes even if they are receiving money anymore? Even if these companies are accepting cryptocurrencies the government has the ability to track all the transactions done and it maybe done easier especially when blockchain is involve with cryptocurrencies. There is really no escape on paying your taxes and mass adoption would only signify that the government allowed cryptocurrencies in their country.
2978  Other / Off-topic / Re: Films about cryptocurrency on: November 21, 2018, 05:50:16 PM
Hoping that this movie won't be a flop or somehow. Mostly movies related to money and wealth is made interesting only if their is a crime involve to appeal the masses. But if they focused on the asset itself it has the chance to bore a lot of people like what the Big Short did, they failed to capture the audiences attention as a lot of people are not getting what is happening. As for the OP if you are hoping for a blockbuster hit it won't be if you looking for something educational as it would only interest a few people, mostly cinema goers are looking for the entertainment and they won't get it if it is centered on learning what crypto is.
2979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is a victim on: November 20, 2018, 02:13:44 PM
It just shows who the true believers of Bitcoin are and the thread is just showing that a lot of people are not part of the ones hodling anymore. A lot of people are really losing hope during this kinds of desperate times, but what I can only offer is that don't be that kind of person who always lose hope when a correction happens. Instead just look at the bigger picture of Bitcoin, where you need to see that this is just a short term downtrend and if you are a believer you won't be affected by the prices that much.
2980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run next monday 26/11/2018 on: November 20, 2018, 01:05:45 PM
You are out of the game yet you kept on predicting shit without any kind of basis? You are like the other people here who just like to hype without any actual or logical explanation behind them. What you are just saying is technically called guessing as you are saying predictions without any form of basis. One thing that makes you more unconvincing is that you yourself said that you don't understand what reality is anymore.
