Bitcore Network-Power Information

Dear Bitcore Community,

Today our network hashing rate is ~ 275 GH/s.
We recently reached numbers as high as 400 GH/s.
This means the power of 8500 - 12500 GTX1080ti cards is currently helping to secure our network!

Your Bitcore team.

So if you have some BTX in an electrum wallet you get free coins airdropped to that address every week right?

Yes, you'll get

+3% every Monday in Novemeber
+4% every Monday in December
+5% every Monday in January
+6% every Monday in February and so on until all funds from the airdrop address https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/address.dws?13hwgY4YUvrgnhjLP5ugFafL1cmbRRtr5e.htm are spent.

see here for more details
https://bitcore.cc/faq.php

you need to register for airdrop though
https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php

Hi

Is the increase of 1% per month until 6% in February, only for BTX wallets registered before November 1, or for all wallets?

Thanks!
You can at any time register your address and participate in the airdrops getting full %.

Mining Tech & Claiming Update

Dear Bitcore-Community,

We are proudly announcing full Segwit-address-support for miningpool yiimp.com.
Segwit transactions should now be confirmed within a few blocks.
We hope to see greater SegWit adoption on other pools soon, so Bitcore will be one of the first networks running with full SegWit support.

On an other note our dev Jon is currently working hard on a solution to allow claiming for BTC holders that used a segwit address (starting with 3 instead of 1) during our 2nd snapshot from 2nd of November.
So stay tuned for some great wallet support updates regarding claiming in the next days.

Sure thing, Viz! Smiley
Not saying it's gonna be a pic, though. Maybe but debating other options currently.
I should mention the discount only counts for one piece/print per eligible TGBH-buyer.

0101 is sold (payment received) to gadabout.
Thank you!

1110 is available again.

So what was the total amount of BTX airdropped this Monday? 60,000?
It means 1,800,000 BTX are subscribed vs ~1,400,000 BTX last week.
28%more..

445.5030162 BTX plus
44867.82140 BTX

The total coins distributed in the last airdrop were 45313.32 BTX.

Any news for the slogan contest?
We will release something tonight or tomorrow.

Joined the airdrop. Thanks devs.
Really glad you joined the airdrop, bro.  Cheesy lol??
- Guys check his account, he posts that stuff almost everywhere...

On a side note: Yeah, if these XMRs are still for sale I'd be definitly interested to buy some, too!
2970  Economy / Collectibles / Re: FOR SALE - Lealana Brass Physical Bitcoins - FUNDED 0.1 BTC on: November 28, 2017, 12:08:03 AM
These are buyer funded only, right?
2971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hshare(HSR) and Hcash on: November 28, 2017, 12:04:50 AM
Relax. I sure as hell ain't gonna buy any HSR.
But I'd like to know how they managed to suddenly appear on CMC with a 1 Billion market cap out of nowhere.

Thus my questions from the previous post. If anyone can answer.

These look very beautiful and seem like an interesting piece of Japanese history.
Does anyone know a way to authenticate these?

have them graded or use an xrf machine.
xrf is a machine detecting the gold/silver I guess? What I mean by authenticate is to somehow verify that these are not replicas but actually from that era.
Does grading provide this info?
2973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - new virtual fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 10:05:10 PM
so, how many btx were distributed?

Read the hole page.

too hard to answer me?

i just see 2 transations for a total of 119.000 BTX , but i'm not sure that is the total.. so if someone want to clear my doubts...
As I remember last monday were distributed about 45000 coins. You can check it in this thread a week earlier Smiley

i want to know how many coins were distributed TODAY, not last monday Grin
Please be patient, numbers will probably be released tomorrow.
Jon, Chris and Steve are currently in a meeting with new devs to add new tech infrastructure for Bitcore in the future.

One thing I can say: You cannot just add the two total outputs of these transactions, there is also change going back to the airdrop fund. So it should be (much) less than the total of both transactions.
2974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hshare(HSR) and Hcash on: November 27, 2017, 10:00:04 PM
50% premine - who buys such a scam coin? I don't get why coinmarketcap does not show the truth. That's what they say:

Market Cap: $947,249,300
Circulating Supply: 42,256,600 HSR
Max Supply: 84,000,000 HSR
Rank: 14

How the hell are premined coins circulating?

And that's the truth:
Market Cap: $5,752,972
Circulating Supply: 256,600 HSR
Max Supply: 84,000,000 HSR
Rank: 309

Really good questions, indeed!

Can anyone direct me to any verifyable info showing how HSR was created and how they achived their incredibly high market cap over-night?

It's a shame that Trezor and ledger  don't still support btx, someone here knows why?

I guess there are two reasons which can cause Trezor and Ledger to support a coin:
1. They decide they want to support it and invest resources to make it possible.
2. The devs of a coin pay them the required fee for being supported.

To answer you question, it means that none of these conditions have been met so far Smiley

All I can say at this point in time is that all options are considered by the team. There is nothing official yet and if a solution is found it will probably take a while.
Just letting you know we do care about all Ledger and Trezor users.

In regards to Trezor we also have an inofficial guide explaining how to claim your BTX. Use at your own risk and only if you know what you are doing.

Print arrived in good standing!!

Very awesome for sure... and wow, I like the size Cheesy
Really glad it all arrived unharmed. And thank you, mj!
Shipping to the US isn't the easiest thing, either. Sorry it took so long.

For full disclosure: I created a reprint of 0111 for gocoins. His print unfortunatelly was damaged on 3 of four corners during transport. We have agreed that he will destroy the damaged print as soon as the new one arrives.
Even though I was confident my packaging was good already, to hopefully avoid any future incidents like this I have stepped up my packaging game, buying plastic straps, high-quality tape and some nice red fragile stickers.  Cheesy

Short status update on the print:

0011 (04): hybridsole:       received by buyer
0100 (05): (anonymous):      received by buyer
0101 (06):                   available*
0110 (07): vizique:          received by buyer
0111 (08): gocoins:          re-shipping
1001 (10): metamorphin:      received by buyer
1010 (11): dArkjON:          received by buyer
1011 (12): teeGUMES:         received by buyer
1100 (13): NattyLiteCoin:    received by buyer
1110 (15):                   available*

*I recently got two PMs indicating interest, so if they decide to buy within 48h then no print is available.
However I plan on putting at least one up for auction in mid-December (0010 probably).

An important note: As we are probably all aware, Bitcoin lately behaves like an inverted-avalanche moving up-and-up-and-up, apparently unstoppable.
To create a fair solution for the buyers of this piece when BTC price was a lot lower while also including the fact of Bitcoin's recent prise rise I decided to do the following:
- lower the price to 0.175 BTC per print. I also pay shipping costs up to 40 EUR no!
- for recent buyers I will grant a 20 - 40% off (I cannot pin exact numbers yet, really depends on the costs for the new project) for my upcoming project (coming early - mid 2018).
- I will reserve corresponding numbers of my new project for buyers of The Great Bitcoin Hatching
