2981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: January 03, 2020, 10:29:37 AM
From my personal experience I used, I paid about $ 70 a month, and I got a ticket every 2 days with odds 3-4, I was not satisfied, I guessed poorly (more precisely that tipser), out of 15 tickets, the hits were 7. which is very bad for that odds. I lost a lot on that, so I'm interested in your experience?
I don't think spending money with this is beneficial to you also gambling website seems fair already and I think for professional gamblers they are going to share their tips and method for free.
Stil most of the time it was just experimental but still method could also work but I don't think it is worth it.
2982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: January 03, 2020, 09:41:45 AM
I've been running a topic for the last few days, what attracts most people to online casino and what keeps them?
In my opinion, the most important indicator is the financial situation, as much as you got lost.
If it's not a tense background, it's very important to me that the background is calm and relaxes me.
Your opinion.
I think as long as the website works great, also it should be fair when it comes to games, no crashes in the website because it could lessen my trust in the website, there is a 24/7 support in the casino,
I think no KYC needed I just think that it was not necessary and I feel like it was using my data, also the website should have a nice design it just add some trust and last I think promos are also important and bonuses.
2983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 03, 2020, 09:24:38 AM
Looking at this shoulders and muscles for McGregor I cant think of anything else but him using some kind of steroids.
Aside from Nate Diaz and GSP, Conor is also one of those guys who doesnt want to be juiced. I'm not ruling out the possibility though, let's wait for the test results after the fight.

I just watched a video from Masvidal's youtube channel, he and Usman is going to excite many fans if they decide to do it.

I don't think so, that kind of muscles can be achieved in my opinion.
As a solid fighter still Conor Mcgregor has low stamina since it was all about stamina in all of his loss If he can't finish the fight in the early round it is going to be hard for him to win.
But still, Conor was a solid fighter I don't think it was steroids at all.
2984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best telegram channels for bounties ? on: January 03, 2020, 09:05:53 AM
I recently joined a great telegram channel for the announcement of bounties.  What do you think are the best ones to join?

Thanks, -CR
You can not find the best bounties in telegram it's just a platform for discussions of the bounties you could easily search bounties here in the forums and then you could contact them in telegram.
A lot of the bounties are almost all scam so be careful I think you should do your research before joining bounties and especially bounties that only in telegram since they don't have information in this forum probably it was not a legitimate company at all. I think it depends on the company that does the bounties that is what could tell the bounties is legit.

2986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How difficult is it to change total bitcoin's 21 million suppply? on: January 02, 2020, 06:09:47 PM

What kind of process have to go through? Who make the final votes? I guess the change is similar to implementing BIP.

I heard many posts here said "Economic Majority" vote decides. Does this mean who hold the most bitcoins decide? Maybe not. I guess BIP is determined by Bitcoin Core developers, so the total bitcoin supply (21 million) is also determined by Bitcoin Core developers.

Also, the argument against the "Economic Majority" is it is often the case we can't find holder for the addresses with a lot of bitcoins. How can we contact them for vote?

Thank you indeed!
I'm an Information Technology student and I still have no idea about this I think as the bitcoin technology was made to be able to change the bitcoin supply you need to hack the bitcoin first,
which is almost impossible since until today no one could still hack bitcoin and I think there is a reward to this so I think bitcoin technology has a solid security.
2987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Business ideas with 60 Bitcoin? What would you do? on: January 02, 2020, 05:47:17 PM
If someone has 60 BTC can he start a decent crypto business to make passive income? Please share some business ideas.
What would you prefer? Casino/Sportsbetting/Wallet/Exchange and which has the highest earning potential?
Provided i have funds - 60BTC and no knowledge regarding business and i am not a designer but i want to start my own crypto business. Where can i start? Where can i find and hire team for myself like designers/developers etc to start my business? I know good team can help the business grow but bad team can ruin everything so what are the things to look for before starting a business? Where to get the business partners with good ideas and genuine team? Where would you start from if you are in my situation. Please share your opinions in this thread  Smiley
I don't recommend making some kind of cryptocurrency business like exchanger, websites or gambling websites since it was a huge risk for your money. A lot of these websites are already close because of the lack of users on the websites. I think the best investment is passive investments like apartments if you invest in this kind of investment you could make sure of passive profit monthly also I think franchises are also a great business to start will your money.
2988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the hot topics of crypto in 2019? on: January 02, 2020, 05:28:25 PM
Even though the cryptocurrency industry is not new to ups and downs, 2019 has turned out to be the year with the most surprising reveals. The long-lasting bear market of 2018 moved market analysts to call it the year of regulatory reckoning, leaving many jurisdictions uncertain about how to treat cryptocurrencies. However, 2019 also turned out to be the year of the comeback.

Enter the new year immediately,Why not review the hot topics of crypto in 2019?

Surely analysis, if the bitcoin is going to recover from the dump, happened in 2020, or is this bitcoin going to surpass the ATH history in the market.
Also, a lot of criticism about ICO and altcoins in the market a lot of people look at them as they are already useless and a lot of users do not trust altcoins anymore in the market because they are not a great investment either.
2989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 02, 2020, 04:54:01 PM
If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.

Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?

How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
We don't really know if this is what Satoshi  Nakamoto has planned to be an anonymous guys who made this bitcoin technology,
As we know bitcoin is already a thing on the internet and already used by a lot of company I think today it is better to keep him as anonymous and it doesn't really matter in my opinion.

2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: January 02, 2020, 04:22:55 PM
So, guys, I think it's a small but a win. A win of our crypto community! I hope there will be more such examples of accepting crypto in 2020. We will start with small countries and then go to global powers. What do you think?

There's the news https://bitcoinist.com/crypto-payments-now-legal-in-ukraine/
Excellent news from Ukraine's surely bitcoin could also influence a lot of countries. The cryptocurrency community is continuing to influence a lot of countries and surely going to get a lot of users from different countries in the coming years surely this means Ukraine is also going to allowed a lot of transactions in their country and surely a lot of company is going to be interested in this blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. In the coming years, these are going to increase the demand for bitcoin.
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: January 02, 2020, 04:10:10 PM
The only place I think altcoins has a future in is gambling, normal gambling but first and foremost e-betting.I can not see how it will take over  from normal currency's in the world of buying or selling any other goods then btc. The main reason I think this is that nobody wants to be that guy that bought two pizzas for 10000 btc 5 years from now, so i cant really see what else it has a real future in. But that is only my opinion, What do you guys think?
I think altcoins could still be use in a single store type of currency like for example a small casino or even gambling websites that have currency or their own altcoins and they are only allowing their own currency to be used in their website or just in a buyer in a popular store I think it could still work. But this kind of altcoins just needed demand and without investors, I think the price of this token will go down a lot that could instantly result in the token becoming dead in the market for sure. Surely this altcoin in the future is not meant to be for investments.
2992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: January 02, 2020, 03:59:53 PM
After the boom of bitcoin in end of 2017 it caught eyes of general audience and many people who thought it as a great investment opportunity bought bitcoins and this is now continuing more and more people with little technical knowledge joining the bitcoin community it was essential to happen this for bringing bitcoin in mainstream but with that this made this era paradise for scammers every day many scams come into existing now their number are growing faster and they target people with less technical knowledge of bitcoin they are likely easy to get scammed some of common scams the scammer pulls are :

1. Cloud mining scam where they make users to invest in their cloud mining and give them a very small % of their amount daily and also encourage them to bring more members so they can get extra rewarded after a time when deposit amount starts to slow down and withdrawal amount starts to increase then their threshold they simply vanished.
2. Multi level marketing scam this work as from oldest days just invest an amount bring two more make your own tree and earn rewards starting ones in this scams who are able to get many other people always get profited and 99% of members who are in down ranks get scammed they do the same when incoming amounts slow down and outgoing amount reach a certain threshold they simply vanish.
3. The seed hack scammers are approaching people saying we will teach you how to make 100$ in one hour and you need to give it to us most common people don't know about seed and put their btc in online wallet such as coinbase or blockchain so scammer get their screen shared and make them transfer their btc in a wallet such as electrum and got their seeds screenshots open their wallet in their own computer and transfer the amount people had no idea what struck them .
4. Investment scams deposit x amount and get x amount this is the most common type of scams getting all over the internet it is a small amount scam usually people don't mind to fell in it by giving 5-50$ of amount to these scammers .

These are some examples of classic scams affiliated with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as bitcoin community is in main stream these types of things confuse people by saying bitcoin is a scam and what ever they try to do with it they ended up in the scam. With their less knowledge about bitcoin it is nearly impossible to make them understand that they are victim of classic scams and it is nothing to do with btc but for these scams they cant go any where or report it they feel vulnerable in using cryptos many individuals trys to point out some scams which get into main stream but this thing need to be done as a collective effort. I propose to have a plat form for normal people teaching them basics of bitcoin as a 9 year could understand all this. because community platform like bitcoin talk have a way to much advance topics which confuse or scare the new non technical people .

Already try a lot of this in the past years invested in the cloud mining and hoping to get a big profit in this in the past years, I did my research about this and it was not really profitable it was not a scam but there are a lot of websites that make this kind of method a scam and that why this things already have a bad image in the community. Also, there are also a lot of sites that you could easily get a profit may be up to 3 weeks they are going to circular the money from the investors and then just going to disappear.
2993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 02, 2020, 03:33:44 PM
As the state of economy does at times really influence levels of crime and social aspects in any community.

Right now under the fiat system there is a major and growing sides of rich and poor.
With many times people who are "without" getting into trouble. Such as committing crimes. Getting into substance abuse etc.

If society or at least communities are able to become more independent and based their markets all on crypto. In which they follow the principles of crypto? as in prevent inflation and create an equal or at least more fair financial market. If that was the case/

Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?

Your thoughts why or why not?
Compare to other digital cash or digital currency I think bitcoin is a solid and secure type of digital cash, we know that until today no one could hack the bitcoin and I think there is also a lot of bitcoin wallet that is using bitcoin and they are also secured. I think when it comes to economy we could encounter a lot of issues when we use bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a currency but also with the help of fiat money bitcoin could still make it as a currency or even just an alternative currency for every country around the globe.
2994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 02, 2020, 09:20:56 AM
Hey I'm back. haven't been on the forum for 1.5 yrs. Been on Twitter. But yeh 2019 was a good year for me in crypto.  1. I had too much in alt coins ,tron, and didn't gain much of it. My stack went all the way up. From btc. Then I saw my stack crashed down lol. It was amazing. But yeh still got a chunk back from hodling in 2017. I have been buying the whole year from 11k down. Little by little. I stayed for the 2020, 100k price well that didn't happen. Let's see the halvening now. Also stayed for the 1 million price prediction. I feel stocks is running n gunning at a good pace. But I'm still stacking satoshis.

Surely altcoins in the market have low demands in this cryptocurrency community for sure, even my altcoins investment didn't have a good profit in this year i think the altcoins just cannot be compared to the real bitcoin since it was just an alternative for bitcoin. I think 100k price could still happen when it comes to bitcoin since it is slowly recovering and just getting started in the coming years surely price might increase and soon going to surpass the ATH price in the market for sure if that didn't happened bitcoin will be dead.
2995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: January 02, 2020, 06:20:46 AM
Ever since strict regulations were introduced in 2017, we've seen a substantial decline in Bitcoin's price across the market. It's believed that 2017 was the year where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies went "mainstream" as many people adopted them for their own benefit. The introduction of new regulations, ETFs, futures trading, and Bitcoin forks (BCH, BSV, etc.) could've had an impact over Bitcoin's price. Whales could be manipulating Bitcoin's price as we know, preventing the pioneer cryptocurrency for reaching new All-time-highs in price.

Imagine if every Bitcoin halving, prices would remain the same or lower than they were before. This would turn out to be completely unsustainable for miners, resulting in decreased security of the Bitcoin blockchain. Of course, the way Bitcoin was designed tells us that price should be going up over time. But I've seen how regulations and events in the mainstream world have negatively impacted Bitcoin's price to a point where it has taken a very long time to rise back up to its original levels. It's been almost 2 years since a bear market occurred (2018), and could last longer as we know it.

As it's said, "Patience is a virtue". We as "hodlers" of Bitcoin should be patient in order to see better results in the future. But, what if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? Then, I'm afraid that most people "hodling" Bitcoin will lose all of their investment in the long run.

What are your thoughts? Huh
In my opinion, through adaptation and implementing bitcoin in a lot of countries all over the world, I think bitcoin should reach the all-time high over time as the bitcoin community is getting bigger.
As the demand of bitcoin increases and supply is decreasing making the market price to pump it should reach and surpass the ATH price of bitcoin.

If bitcoin never reaches a new ATH maybe bitcoin was not a successful digital currency or cash in the market, right now bitcoin was already getting started and if it doesn't increase its price something is going to surpass it.
2996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: January 02, 2020, 05:29:51 AM
If you would have averaged your Bitcoin buys weekly, you’d be up by almost 50% for the year—an impressive statistic that proves it is smart to spread out your buys.

Does averaging out your buys instead of going ‘all in’ make for a better strategy? With making large buys, it’s about timing the market. However, averaging out your Bitcoin buys over a longer period of time has brought great returns for investors this year.

Full news here

I honestly do not know what to say about this guys, but dang! If only I can afford buying Bitcoin every week and having guts of taking risks in this unpredictable market, for sure I would be in profits by now.

However, do you guys agree about this one? Up to this date, most of the market move are in favor of the bulls than the bears.

Even the bulls are pushing the price higher, the bears are not slowing down in pulling it back. We are still up by the way. From over $3k last January and now hovering around $7.2k after this year’s high of almost $14k.
I agree I don't usually buy bitcoin but I investing my bitcoin that I get weekly and seems like a lot of time it was going down but quickly going back up in the end.
I think as long as you invest your bitcoin at a reasonable price in the market I think it will going to give you profit in bitcoin since the market price of bitcoin was so volatile  Wink

It was just hoped and trust, in my opinion, a lot of time people or investors are just getting hype up.
2997  Other / Off-topic / Re: FREE MERITS!!! *Forum's New Year's resolution* on: January 01, 2020, 12:57:15 PM
What is your target rank or target number of merit
What is your personal goal for 2020 here in the forum
What are you going to do next year, do you have a plan to achieve next year?

1. In this coming 2020, I think my target merit was around 250 merits I don't really get a lot of merits so probably this is my target for this year surely becoming a Sr. Member or if possible a Hero member, it would be a great achievement for me in the forum.

2. In the forum my personal goal was to create a lot of great topics in the forum to contribute to the community for the past my I was just commenting and didn't create a lot of topics in the forum. And probably create more friends in the forum.

3. Probably continue in this forum and help a lot of users to avoid getting scam and help them in cryptocurrency, and also to help influence people with bitcoin.

Thanks, Happy New Year Have a great 2020 everyone !  Smiley Smiley
2998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any specific video channel for cryptocurrencies same like bitcointalk? on: December 31, 2019, 06:28:38 PM
Recently see YouTube has started deleting all cryptocurrency related videos that many people shocked to see.
There should be a  platform like YouTube where users can add their videos and share it with low to high quality.
PS Moderator: Its not low quality post.
It was really shocking when we heard about it and I think the banned was really unacceptable to the cryptocurrency community and a lot of us agreed about it.

But it was already done since the youtube already said that the cryptocurrency-related videos banned or blocked is just an error if we are going to think about it sure it was really unfair to a lot of cryptocurrency content creator but since the youtube already solve the issue I think this is not a problem anymore and videos should be back again in youtube.
